Alright let's make one thing clear;

Riddle (from TWST) would 100000% do things that are on the verge of momcon. I doubt he'd do actual momcon (I mean have you SEEN their relationship??) but he'd project it on his darling.

I can see him forcing his darling to dress more like his mom, put her hair up like his mom, do her makeup like his mom, but not act like his mom. HE wants the power in THIS relationship.

10000% would call you either "mom", "mommy", or his mother's name while he noncons you.

Yes omg omg AHHHH he WOULD he is such a Mama's boy, a kind of the same vibes as [this post] from forever ago? He would subconsciously single out a darling that bears some physical resemblance and make you his replacement Mommy :))))

Although he doesn't realize it, it's also where he gets his preferences. It's subconscious; if you asked him if he sought out facial features or traits that resembled his mother, he would scowl, say no, that that is a frankly reprehensible notion.

But anyone who has seen both you and her, well, they can't help but raise their eyebrows a bit at the facial structure similarity. No one says anything to him about it, though, out of fear of invoking his ire. The last thing anyone needs is him getting embarrassed over the realization and going into a pseudo-tantrum over what an absurd suggestion it is that he would ever select for someone based on a facial similarity to his own blood. What kind of pervert would even come up with such an idea? He's just too oblivious to his own self to recognize it.

He sort of tries to make you this... ideal figure, what a perfect mommy to him should have been. Obviously he's a controlling little bastard from the get-go, always, always correcting every little thing you do. But the way he moulds you into a maternal figure is not entirely a conscious decision. He enforces things upon you that just sort of seem right -- that you have to wear this and this in this specific way, that you should hold your posture this way, walk like this, speak more formally in public and more casually with him, and with this sort of tone to each setting respectively... no, it's not in the rules or anything, but there's a sort of well-known propriety to such things, you know? Just because it's not a rule doesn't mean there isn't a very specific and proper way for people to behave and carry themselves and so on, especially for someone in your position, seeing as your behaviors and mannerisms reflect on him.

He doesn't realize to what degree his idea of normalcy and propriety has been shaped by example. That is, his own mom. It's where he gets all of his ideas of proper behavior for anything not explicitly in the rules.

It's not just a matter of forcing you to behave a certain way, either, but also discouraging what he doesn't like. Sometimes you do certain things that don't seem out of the ordinary, that you don't even think would upset him, yet he still seems to scowl. What exactly is his problem with the thing you're wearing? It's not inappropriate, nor does it defy any of the countless regulations you know are imposed upon you... but it just doesn't feel right to him. It's not something she... that you would wear.

And why does he not like this or that part of your speech patterns, the hairstyle or length you have, so on and so on? He couldn't say. He just knows he wants to change it to this specific idea he has in mind. All the while unaware he's subconsciously basically just redesigning you into Mommy 2.0, more or less.

But yes, there's a few things that he does not want you replicating: a sense of authority over him, and that constant, merciless criticism. On the occasion you have been upset with or reprimanded something he does, it makes him unusually, exceptionally uncomfortable and upset, the way he stiffens and scowls. Usually, he's fairly receptive to and humble about criticism (as long as its valid), but you're just not supposed to do that. You're the one person that can't, even if he made a genuine mistake. You're supposed to be the embodiment of tenderness and affection.

If he recreates the setup himself, with you, he can give himself a sort of power he never had with his real mother. It's a very comforting sort of feeling, all the warmth and familiarity, but with none of the fear of failure, none of the anxiety around a single misstep. So when you give him that anxiety anyway, it feels like a transgression, like you've done something wrong, and he can treat it accordingly.

And with you, he's a lot more sensitive to criticism too. Even if you say just the slightest thing, even if its worded very nicely and given to him very gently, it upsets him. He's uncharacteristically petulant about it. He'll cross his arms and scowl, mutter something under his breath, and more or less give you a cold shoulder and silent treatment for the rest of the day. Unless, of course, you make it up to him somehow, namely by apologizing and admitting you were wrong and he was right and he did nothing wrong. If not, the bitterness and hurt can last for quite a while.

As for what he calls you, well. He unfortunately isn't the type of guy who can say something and not realize what he's said, so he does catch himself, face buried against your neck and balls deep inside you.

Mommy...

And he freezes up, stops completely. Stiffens. There's a few moments of silence as he has to come to terms with and process his own words.

That -- I don't --

A slip of the tongue, perhaps. So he tries to pass it off as. However, it's only at that moment that it seems to click, all the dots connect and he realizes what he's done with you, how he's moulded you. The poor thing gets extremely self-conscious, hurries to the library to desperately seek out psychology texts in some desire to find out if there's something wrong with him.

However, he does find said material, which claims that, at least to some extent, this sort of thing is normal... maybe not to the extent he's done it, but, it says something about how men often pursue partners that bear some resemblance to their mothers... so he takes that piece of information and runs with it. Rather, he stretches the concept beyond the point of what anyone else would consider reasonable, and extrapolates it to mean that what he's doing is normal, too.

So now, he can let the anxiety go and not have to feel paranoid that he has some kind of problem, because it's normal, so he doesn't have a problem at all, no. In fact, even if you object in some way, he uses the information to justify and argue the matter from that point forward... so he'll keep calling you what he feels like, thank you very much. Just hope it doesn't accidentally slip when you're around others... that would be the end of him, they'd never let him live that down.

And in truth, somehow the whole thing makes him less anxious around his actual mother, he feels less of an urge to live up to her expectations and is less afraid of upsetting her, now that he's redirected his need for approval and validation to you instead. Although with that gone, he does get a bit more openly resentful, which impacts their relationship negatively a bit... and although he'll have trouble both explaining to you where he got all the clothes from that he comes back with over break, he'll have even more trouble convincing her he doesn't know why hers went missing...

Honestly, byler to me has become a stressful 'thing' now i cannot even enjoy it due to the whole discourse and drama surrounding it lol. Also it feels like the shipping culture kinda died because people just stopped shipping things for fun but it became a match where you have to prove your ship's 'validity' 'morality' or how it actually exists in canon and it should exist in canon (for this and that reason), and you have to constantly prove yourself that you are a master analysist and you Get The Narrative and that's why you ship this ship and if it doesnt become canon then it means the writing is dumb/poor and im like..? You dont really have to do all that and i get that sometimes feeling so passionately about shipping is natural part of fandom and i have been there and done that too, but this whole narrative and mindset surronding it is just really tiring. if a ship makes you this stressed and traumatized and if it happens you say stuff like 'imma kms' maybe just kinda take a step back idk. I ship ron/nce and i adore their dynamic, but i am well aware that it is not going to happen even if i see a certain level of dynamic between nancy and robin. and i get that it is different for will since will is canonically into mike now but the overall point still stands. you can still like a ship even if it doesnt become canon you dont have to try so hard to prove its existence or validity since the shipping is usually supposed to be... fun.

Anon, I'm convinced I somehow sent this to myself because I'm exactly the same. I get being critical of the show's queer rep and plot if Byler isn't canon or being disappointed which we saw a lot of post volume 2, but yeah. Being a Byler shipper has become not fun™ and it's become a requirement that you think it's going to be endgame in order for you to ship it. And I also think the sense of superiority a lot of Byler shippers have about being great critical thinkers or having media literacy can make it feel scary to ever question anything anyone ever says, although most people were actually quite supportive when I spoke about this. All of that to say, letting go of Byler endgame before S4 has been great for me; I love analysing and theorising about Byler without the pressure of needing it to be canon.

And I know people will read this as "you shouldn't be bothered by the show using Will" but what I and I believe the anon is trying to say is that fandom should be built off of fun and wanting your ship to have content because you enjoy it, not because you're terrified it's not gonna be canon. Easier said than done, but I think you need to take care of yourself and your mental health too. I'm not famous or anything but I have quite a few followers now and I'm not going to lie or guarantee 100000% that it will be canon because I just do not know and I genuinely think people's mental health will be damaged because they've been hyping up an expectation of ST5 for years.

If shipping Byler has become too stressful for you, try take a break for a bit (I've been posting less over the last few months partially because of this too). Especially since we all have hiatus brain where expectations and theories become more and more wild because we have to keep digging deeper into the same content. I'm so scared that S5 will come out and it doesn't happen because I like a lot of people in this fan community and if Byler isn't canon, we'll get angry posts for a couple of months and maybe some theories about interference or deleted scenes (this happen post S4 a bit as well) but then it's gone ): the community revolves more about being 100% sure Byler will happen instead of enjoying the pairing of Mike and Will so without canon Byler, I don't know what will remain.

Hi Bee! Going anon because I feel so awkward asking this and I genuinely like you and your work is beautiful ;;;;;;

Patreon subber here! I've noticed that you seem to be drawing less and less of BTS art and more of that anime show. Which is 100000% your prerogative and I fully support anyone following their own joy and especially artists creating art that interests them, not just to cater to their audience, so this is in no way me asking or requesting you to draw less anime and more BTS! However, I'm not in the greatest place financially right now and I need to be more strict with myself and where I am spending my money and to make sure where I'm spending my money also aligns with my own wants. I wish I was in a position to just remain subbed as a patron no matter what because I love your art and want to support you as an artist, and I've really been warring with myself over this for the last couple months because that truly where my values lie when I have the means. But between the topic and amount we're paying for, I'm feeling torn. I TOTALLY get the reasons for the decrease in content, your health issues and school and work are completely valid, but it doesn't change the fact that we're getting noticeably less now than we did a year ago, and you've been promising it's temporary for set periods (first school and exams last year, then work, then health), but it's held pretty steady for at least a year now and has never returned to the level many of us subbed to originally despite repeated assurances that eventually things will pick back up. Less content is honestly not a big deal in and of itself, but it doesn't sit right with me that you haven't been upfront that these changes will be permanent, always promising that the current volume is temporary. But also there's been no broaching the subject of the fandom your creating for the majority of the time now changing from what your subscribers subbed to or for. Again, I fully support you creating for whatever interests you, but when I subbed you were solely a BTS fanartist and described your patreon as such on twitter, offering early and uncensored access to NSFW art, and you've never said anything to your subscribers about your focus permanently shifting to predominantly be anime. So far in 2024, not including previews for or commissions, you've published 2 BTS art posts and 8 of the anime characters on patreon. In the position I'm in, it just doesn't make sense for me to be spending a monthly subscription fee on fan content that isn't something I follow or know anything about. So I guess what I'm asking is for confirmation that you will no longer be focusing on BTS art? Truly you are so talented, I genuinely do love your art in general, I just can't afford to spend monthly money on something that doesn't genuinely interest me, even if I wish I could stay subbed just to support an artist I admire.

Dude hey! It seems you put a lot of thought into this so I'll answer accordingly!

I know I haven't been as reliable as I wanted to be in the past few months and I apologise for that. I don't mean for this to sound like an excuse, but I did very much believe for things to be temporary. (I tremendously overexhausted myself with my degree and my health has been a bit shit since qwq) I overestimated myself and should have had more foresight and taken proper breaks with the payment cycles as well.

Now, as for the shift in fandoms, I have wanted to broaden my range of fandoms I produce art for for quite some time. I do still very much love BTS and the aus I made mean a lot to me still. But the fandom in general has sparked a lot less joy than it used to lately and I've gotten a bit bored drawing only them. BTS was already an uncommonly long obsession and while i wouldn't call it burn-out, I AM a bit singed. I haven't announced something like a permanent shift on my patreon or twitter because it isn't, I love to draw them still but my focus just isn't as singular as it was for the past few years.

I know that keeping multiple fandoms under a single hat on patreon isn't ideal, and I completely understand that patrons don't always vibe with that. So I do not take it personally AT ALL should they decide to leave. Honestly it makes me very grateful to see that this meant enough to you to contact me like this.

Jjk is currently the thing that interests me the most, but I did plan to return to the roots of doing bangtan ship polls again for next month!

You've definitely given me stuff to think about. I'll make an announcement in the next few days regarding future plans.

And finally, I'll plainly say that my focus on bts art won't return to the level of intensity it started out as for a good while. It will continue, but not as it was. As you said, it's good for an artist to draw not only for an audience and I won't ever force myself to do that either. But I should have been more transparent, maybe it really is time I overhaul my page to represent the current me.

Ok, enough serious waffling, Please Do Not Feel Bad for cancelling your subscription!! In fact I encourage it if it doesn't spark joy anymore!! Smutty patreon art is a luxury expense and shit is hard enough these days!! I pinky promise I will not be mad above some entirely impersonal mild annoyance that my monthly budget shall now encompass 3$ less :)

IM PUTTING IN MY TWO CENTS HERE because I think the entire conversation about why people choose certain potions and routes within non-linear choice based game,s, or any game that provides some level of illusion of choice. I remember talking about this extensively in my Psychology class for Game Design, and though of course theres a multitude of reasoning, I think what peoples idea of fantasy or even coping is largely at play. I know one of your thoughts on playing questionable or morally challenging characters is because you already conform to a societal expectation to "be nice" or an upstanding citizen, and Honestly thats super understandable! Im not here to analyze anyone, but a good chunk of other people I talk to have some sort of revenge fantasy and I dont mean that in a bad way! Rebellion to rules that plague reality and the ability to let lose, or just an interest in consequences for your playthrough that dont actually affect you is another reasoning, albeit the rarer of the two options. On the otherhand, as someone who loves to make The Most Morally Good Characters, and is also a big baby when it comes to being mean in most video games, My "revenge fantasy" IS being nice, because we are all forced to tiptoe around the same sociteal expectations but even those on the other side dont have much power in helping people on a larger scale that video games allow! To be The Hero that helps as many people as possible, that has to power to fundamentally change the world for the better, that is a unrealistic reward of its own. And I know you also mentioned briefly how you see it as limiting, and I think to some people this might ring true of them allowing themselves to cave and actually enjoy the "morally questionable" decision making, however I think for the other half its not limiting? Its Highly Rewarding. Theres also something to mention in how Linear people are themselves, its much more common to hear about people replaying one exact route despite there being 100000s choices vs those who do every route imaginable, so the more likely someone is to lean one side esp in their initial playthrough, the less likely they are to want to go the other way. I HOPE THIS DOESNT COME OFF AS LIKE...A REBUTTAL, Its not! I think this is a genuinely facinating phenomenon that ive had to think and write about in school, theres so many layers to it Id love to discuss and love to HEAR discusssed so youre so smart for actually starting that poll bc Ive been enjoying searching through the replies of it

hfdsgfsdg Javi your enthusiasm is a TREASURE it most definitely does not come off like a rebuttal. And I think your points are really cogent and in line with what I've kinda been angling at, which is that they're two sides of the same coin of "indulging in a fantasy." And it probably makes me a bit of a hypocrite that I'm like "I just don't get why other people can't see the appeal of Doing Bad Things as an escapist fantasy!" even though I would also say with my whole chest that being the big damn hero who saves everyone and changes the world for the better holds absolutely zero appeal to me LOL It is truly just a matter of taste.

It's probably beyond the scope of a tumblr poll but I feel like an interesting follow-up re: people not choosing to behave badly in games, would be to ask people why. Like there's the obvious "it's usually not written as well/doesn't let you have the full game experience" reason which is valid, but of the remainder I wonder how many people would honestly say it's just not fun to be mean, and how many would admit that it makes them uncomfortable because they still feel the need to conform to societal standards even in their fantasy world. (I feel like this reads as me passing a judgment on either stance and I'm not! Just thinking out loud. In text.)

Oh man I forgot to touch upon this in my initial ask BUT tldr; yes I think games that present themselves as choice based and yet lean heavily towards one morality (usually the good Guys) and dont give second thoughts to the other side, defeats the purpose of allowing players to play how they want. I think this is actually why the only game I like being morally questionable in is fnv, bc both "choices" actually present interesting outcomes. Theres also something to say how in games the good side rewards more which I think is stupid.

dear t3enytinkers, I saw your Instagram story (will be long since deleted by now) where you asked for full honest feedback / opinions. I am sorry I could not answer there, and resort to here to remain truly anonymous. I am not an artist myself, just another consumer. I want to say that the community does not dislike you as a person, as much as you might read this blog and see such unpleasant messages, I really do not believe you are disliked or hated. However, I do believe what has caused you to see your name here so much is because you are selling an amateur product for a professional products price. Unfortunately that is going to give you some backlash. Anyone can say it’s art it’s subjective but there are of course differences in skill regardless and no one is better than anyone else or should feel bad about where they are at skill wise but when it comes to SELLING, yes skill does matter in the end! Yes people will buy it, etc, but as to the hate, this is why. Dolls don’t have to be conventionally attractive or have certain features to sell, really, in the end it’s the skill of the artist, I think you need more experience. Please make dolls, enjoy this, but i would focus on practicing and learning than selling and marketing. I want to end this with, I don’t dislike or hate you, or look down on you, I don’t laugh at you either. I understand 100000% how you would feel like we do and your hurt feelings are so very valid over the way people have treated you here.

good evening~~ here’s my very cursed(!!!) top 10 list on the most redundant [redacted] anime features off the top of my head~~

debates and disagreements welcome~

10- lxl and basketball

pointless inclusion that was pretty much just an excuse to get chiz to openly thirst over aizo. and to emphasise on just how much better aizo is at sports as compared to his poor sidekick yujiro. just male leads being male leads, ig

i mean, sure, it gave us that beautiful ball e mv, but lxl’s sporty [redacted] anime-induced hobby wasn’t worth much in general.

9- the inclusion of ⅘ of gen 2 tbh

they were pretty much just background extras for the most part, except for ken, who gets bonus moments thanks to being the male lead’s brother. heck, poor kodai doesn’t get much time to shine, despite being the adoring bf of one of the three heroines of the show. mans got more screentime either behind his camera, or as juri love flashbacks during her conversations with the jk trio.

as for the others, arisa got like 5 seconds of screentime (and 4 of them occurred in the sports fest ep, romeo ed included), and kotahina were nerfed to heck and back. they were written to be competitive and stubborn characters, so why were they portrayed to be nothing more than your average caring senpai towards hiyoko? a nd cultural festival w h e r e ? helloooooooooo~~~?

sure, the sports fest ep did give gen 2 in general a chance to show their stuff, but it was clearly more of viewer fanservice for pre-[redacted] anime fans who know and love these characters for who they truly are.

8- aizo’s “trauma reveal”

idk about you, but hiyoko does not need to know about aizo’s trauma. i mean, yeah, i totally get where ken’s coming from. as a scumbag older sibling myself, i, too, get the urge to dump lots of info about my brother to complete strangers. but. it’s just that. hiyori… really didn’t need to go “oh thank god it wasn’t real trauma. now. how can i fix him?”.

she really didn’t need to say that mans. all forms of trauma are valid forms of trauma… if that makes sense. she can’t just decide that someone’s trauma “isn’t real trauma” and then go ahead and liken it to her dislike for squid. and that includes aizo’s trauma with ladies. not cool.

on the bright side, at least aizo’s local idol boo yujiro took his trauma seriously and stood by him even as their manager had a trauma minimising session with his brother. and speaking of yujiro…

7- that someya ‘scandal’

what the heck was that ep 4 someya scandal lmao. it’s never brought up again????? not even by koichiro and tamagoro in the later episodes??? do they even know that there was a scandal about them??? bruh. what was it even there for lol. the gayze???

i mean, yeah, he’s totally the shame of the someya family for going ahead to be the less popular member of a popular idol duo, with said idol-ling being something he had received the head of said someya family’s permission for. but he had debuted without his family’s name anyway so??? does it even matter???

it would’ve actually made sense if it had a call back in a later episode, with, like, the reveal that maybe chizuru or one of the 100000 aizo stans there apparently are had leaked yujiro’s last name online in an attempt to take him down so that aizo can have a solo idol career or something. but no. it’s just never brought up again.

but before we drop the topic of yujiro like how his in-universe popularity dropped to 0 in the adaptations…

6- yujiro arrest reason

this. made. no. sense. either.

did the [redacted] anime throw darts at a dartboard of possible plot ideas to decide how the someya family side plot was going to go?? or was it decided with an online prompt generator?? or was it the result of a game of mad libs with the office crew????

like? lol? who smuggled koichiro into the bar??? and wh o let baby face yujiro into the bar??? and how did none of the staff at the bar question it?

though. wait. how the heck did hiyoko even see enough distinctive features of yujiro’s during the night that she witnessed his police encounter to identify him when they next crossed paths in the classroom? she was looking at him from above from her spot on a flight of stairs in dim lighting. just how good is her eyesight? hello?

5- repurposed yumefan

yeah yeah i k n o w the [redacted] anime staff justified their choice to use yumefan as a song to encourage hiyoko bc “it’s a song about encouraging others” and stuff. but still. yappa saikyou would probably have worked too, since it’s about not wanting to lose to your rivals and aiming to surpass the rest and stuff like that. or they could’ve just. y’know. kept nonfan in their setlist anyway if they wanted to dedicate a song to their friend(?) slash manager, since that song’s mv was the first mv that hiyoko had worked on, and thus, ✨memories✨ are there, y’know?

either way, the [redacted] anime staff saw yumefan, decided “ok it’s for women now” and had it dedicated to hiyoko and got the narumi sisters to cover it as a special ed. much wow. aizo would be proud. and speaking of aizo…

4- yuko in the countdown live

she moved to france in the lxl movie, so what is she doing here in the first place? to watch her estranged son hxld hxnds with some rando onstage? go back to france, yuko.

3- nagisa arc

the main problem i have with nagisa’s arc is how forced it felt tbh. it kinda felt like it was just. shoehorned into the plot? it just. didn’t flow well. like… especially how nagisa was completely written out of the plot after he hopped on that train. lxl had been teasing hiyoko relentlessly about nagisa till he left. then it was just like. he never existed?? excuse???

i mean. i love nagihiyo. don’t get me wrong. it’s just… the way the [redacted] anime staff plotted it into the story felt… off.

look, you see, i think the nagisa plot would’ve worked better as a season closer. like, after all that friendship drama and scandals and stuff, we get a breather in the form of the nagisa visit. he could be visiting for the countdown live, or for a christmas or new year’s visit for all i care, but it’d give the lxl + hiyoko trio, with newly strengthened bonds of friendship after all they’ve been through (thanks chiz), a chance to show off their cooperative skills with the hiyoko makeover sequence and subsequent nagisa encounter. heck, it’d even give nagisa another reason to be wary of lxl, since “aren’t these the dudes from that relationship scandal you were in? you should be more careful around them fr” could be a legit point of concern. plus! it could lead into a post-series uni timeskip or something for that sweet, sweet nagihiyo uni arc crumbs!!

hmmm. well. in the end, i still hate how nagisa’s existence was all but retconned after his episodes. poor lad. he deserves better!!! and speaking of deserving better…

2- the narumi sisters’ appearance

for sena, as she has co-starred with lxl in the past, and since she is still in the industry, it’s no surprise that she’d make an appearance or two. however, the r e a l problem is how she was handled. she was only abruptly thrown into ep 6 to fit in yet another “uwu woe is me im not cute uwu” hiyoko moment in the 24 minutes of terror. plus, those sena-mona moments make no sense whatsoever if you’re a [redacted] anime-only who doesn’t know how lxl and the narumis know each other. viewer fanservice at its finest, ig.

she doesn’t even get to perform in the [redacted] anime even though there was an entire joint-artiste concert in the last episode. she doesn’t even salt about her nasty encounter with yujiro (which would’ve made for a more interesting topic during her second encounter with hiyoko when they talked about conflicts with friends, instead of being demoted to a bonus manga tbh). she’s so bland, she makes plain spaghetti taste like carbonara.

and speaking of carbonara, we return to lxl for number one, which is…

1- the lxl shower scene (no image bc g o o d l a w d w h y w o u ld i include it)

they are 15. we don’t need that extended shower scene. we don’t need to know that hiyoko has no qualms about barging into the showers for the opposite gender, with said members of the opposite gender being completely nude and uncomfortable when she did so. we just. didn’t need to see any of that.

who was that scene even made for? help???? just how bad did they think their own show was that they felt the need to put in an out of place scene of teen boys showering to pad the runtime?? excuse???

this is the most niche thing i’ve ever posted on the internet but 90% of my free time last month was spent at my local aerial circus studio to prep for a showcase and i also just reread check please! for the first time in years so here’s a little aerial/circus au -- sorry there’s no trapeze in here, i don’t know anything about trapeze. i imagine in this au they have already all graduated from college.

jack: jack was going to be in Cirque Du Soleil (also i did not know until now that Cirque du Soleil is a canadian company started in quebec so that’s actually perfect???) but after his overdose he taught kids aerial classes for a few years, like the really basic intro classes to kids who have never done it before. to everyone’s surprise he moves to the states then joins this local circus troupe that mostly just performs for events in the city. something tells me that jack does straps and sometimes cyr wheel, straps are intense and i’m still scared to try them lol so i think jack would definitely do an apparatus that is very difficult

bitty: the best way to translate figure skater bitty to aerial bitty i think would be the hoop/lyra, you can get spins on other apparatuses too but i’m picturing bitty being one of those people who does very high energy/dynamic routines and can spin super super fast on the lyra without getting dizzy which is a TALENT.

he used to be a dancer up through college but does aerial now so the difference between moving on the ground and moving in the air could be a huge mental block, and instead of a fear of checking he has a fear of heights/falling which is valid but jack is like: um it’s not that different from what you were doing before, if you’re not falling when the hoop is low to the ground, you won’t fall when it’s high either. but they do some one on one practices together and jack is kind of intense but helps bitty trust himself that he knows what he is doing and won’t fall. you also have to be pretty strong to be doing advanced moves and routines so also gives us great opportunity for jack to tell bitty to eat more protein. because i said so, bitty also does a little lollipop lyra (hoop/lyra attached on top of a pole) when he’s feeling spicy

ransom + holster 100000% would do partner acro/hand to hand, they are big guys who also trust each other more than anything which is perfect for hand to hand because you have to put all your trust in your partner and also have to be so strong once you get to the advanced level hand to hand shit

shitty is a pole dancer, i don’t make the rules. there are more reasons i could get into as to why this makes sense but the most important: in order to get the best grip on the pole you need to wear as little clothing as possible and bro. tell me shitty wouldn’t choose the apparatus that lets him be as naked as possible. some guys don’t wear heels/shorts for pole but shitty is confident in his masculinity and will be pole dancing in booty shorts and 8 inch heels

lardo doesn’t actually do any aerial/circus but manages the troupe and circus people are weird so they need a manager to keep them somewhat organized and in line and they would absolutely all fall apart without her. she also helps choreograph routines and helps with makeup and costume design so everyone always looks SO GOOD on performance day

chowder: that boy can do the splits on command as a hockey player so imagine if he actually practiced his flexibility??? this boy is a contortionist. no further explanation

nursey: silks are my favorite so nursey gets to do the silks :) aerial as a general sport is artistic but the silks have a unique extra level to it with colorful fabric and nursey is artsy so he’s a silks guy and has such beautiful routines!! he also is terrible at money management and is constantly buying new silks and new costumes, he has a different set of silks for like every performance, it’s a little out of control. for sure bought some rainbow/tie-dye silks for that time he performed at Pride

dex: when dex first starts, he for sure only uses the corde lisse/rope or straps, which are the more “masculine” apparatuses. rope is very similar to silks but when men do it, they typically do way more strength based routines vs more feminine routines that embellish the artistry. once dex starts to understand himself better and works through some of his internalized homophobia/misogyny, he lets nursey teach him some more artistic stuff and since their specialties are so similar, they do some duo acts

as expected, dex and nursey do NOT get along at first, dex works a regular office/tech job during the day (most of them have day jobs too, they do not get paid enough not to have day jobs) so he can only train in the evening and somehow nursey is ALWAYS there, and nursey is also one of those people who brings a speaker and plays his music out loud while he trains instead of wearing headphones and it annoys the shit out of dex

kent: kent DID join cirque du soleil and him and jack always did duo straps routines, kent mostly does solo acts now,

i could say more and give this actual plot but this is already so long, if you want more tell me and i can easily give you a part II, i don’t know enough about the other characters to give you much but i’m sure with some time and thought i could get into it no problem

hi emmie, i saw your tag about your gemini venus and i felt the urge to comment back to you. a gemini venus is more than just getting bored too easily! omg its a wonderful placement to have, if your feelings are otherwise.

ive come full circle with the gemini placement, as my best friends have a plethora of it in their charts, and i can say it’s a great placement. as for the relationship aspect, you’re looking for someone who is open, both emotionally and physically. a guarded mind and body isn’t for you as you look for the emotional validation through talking easily and comfortably (gem needs to be able to enjoy themselves and someone who closes themself off might not be your cup of tea). physically, you need someone who is willing to try new things, and who wants to try them with you! i think gemini can be a loyal and loving sign if given the right conditions.

When, Why and How to Change Your Transmission Fluid in Porsche

Transmission related problems have become common in most of the cars. A substance which keeps the transmission parts protected is transmission fluid. When this fluid gets older in your transmission or gearbox, it loses some of its properties and has to be replaced. In this article you will get to know why, when and how you can replace the transmission fluid in your Porsche car.

Why do you have to replace the transmission fluid?

First you need to know about the role of transmission fluid in vehicles. Transmission fluid is a transparent, red coloured fluid used in your transmission for the purpose of lubrication of moving parts, prevention of overheating and increase longevity of the gear box. It helps the gearbox to carry out its work smoothly and effortlessly. Transmission fluid is like a tonic for gear box. The transmission fluid also has validity. If it becomes too old, used or impure, then it has to be changed. As the transmission fluid flows throughout the transmission, dirt and debris may get accumulated inside it with time, also older fluids fail to carry out their work effectively. Replacing the transmission fluid makes the transmission last longer and you will not have to take your car to diagnose transmission failure. Using the same fluid for years without changing it will cause the transmission to slip, the gears will get worn out and overheat, then the transmission may fail.

When to replace the transmission fluid?

Generally in Porsche cars, the transmission fluid is to be replaced once for every 30000 miles. In some models, it is recommended to replace the fluid for every 100000 miles. But the life of the fluid also depends on how often you use your car. Here are some signs that your transmission fluid needs replacement.

The colour of the fluid becomes dark brown or light pink, opaque or becomes cloudy or dirt and debris or other residues in the fluid.

Also note that you have to also replace the transmission fluid filter with the fluid. The filter lasts for 30000-50000 miles.

How to change your transmission fluid?

To change the fluid you need to have automatic service transmission kit for your Porsche model. This kit has all those parts that are to be installed after replacement. You must have the following tools - 240Torx, level, 17 mm hex, 10 mm socket/ratchet, torque wrench, bead thermocouple digital temperature sensor, catch tray, lint free towels, gravity oil fill. You will get these all from local auto parts stores.

Steps

1. The vehicle is raised and the under plastic shield id removed to access transmission pan

2. Level on the oil pan is placed to check if the car is level, fore and aft, side to side.

3. Then drain the fluid by opening the transmission drain plug

4. To reduce spillage and drain more fluid, pan is made to tilt down towards the drain by loosening the pan bolts.

5. Other pan bolts are also to be removed. You will see three bolts that attach filter to the valve body. You have to unbolt them to remove the filter along with seal O ring.

6. New filter is installed and bolted. Then new gasket is to be installed.

7. The transmission pan is reinstalled and use thread locker while bolting the old bolts.

8. Pour the fluid through fill hole till it drips from the fill. The fluid should be of 3-4 liters.

9. Start the engine and allow it to idle. Adding of fluid should be continued.

10. Shift the gear lever from park to D, wait for 3 seconds, then turn it to R and wait for 5 seconds.

11. Engine should idle and check the fluid temperature by the temperature sensor while adding the fluid. Pouring of fluid should continue till it drips from the hole and the temperature comes near to 40 degree C.

12. Put the hole plug with a sealing ring and torque it to 70Nm.

You should be very care full while following these steps of changing the fluid. Never work under the car if you are alone.

Conclusion

If you do not get the tools, then you can get the work done in authorized service stations for Porsche. If you take your car for transmission service then the transmission fluid change will be done in an affordable price.

Though I would also like to add that, at some point, if he's ever open to having a conversation about this in the future or whatever, I would hope that he'd think about his role as a provocative persona. Like, I think the reason most fans are upset, and the reason the larger public is upset are different.

I 100000% agree that cancel culture has gone beyond its initial intent and devolved into performative bullshit. And We CLEARLY need a better system. So, for people who are canceling him online every week, they can just stfu, lmao. BUT, I think when fans, or people who have taken the time to understand the situation in context are upset with him, we're saying "we get that you take being provocative as an important part of your role, but we don't think this gives you the right to say what you just said in this particular situation."

In other words, my GENUINE HOPE for Matty is that he sits down and thinks about the ethics of being a provocateur. When is it productive? when is it not? when is it okay to alienate a certain group of people if you're making a valid point about the limitations of our social mores, and when does it become an excuse for being an asshole. When should I listen to public criticism? what comments should I ignore because they basically prove me right about the stuff that im trying to criticize. You see what I mean? Like, when we get mad at him as fans, we're not mad cuz he wasn't performative and woke, we're mad cuz he crossed a line that he doesn't get to cross, even in his performance art. I hope that he gets that.
