I need to dump all the new canon stuff about Cameron Calvin here. They've been lingering in my mind for long enough.

Originally, Charles would've still died in Valiant Hero, but after some thought, it would make more sense for Cam to die. Cam being the co-pilot n all tags along with Charles in missions all the time, btw, so that results in changes here and there in specific routes. Especially routes that feature Charles, of course. Being the overprotective and aggressive brother he is, he'd make it a priority to ensure that Charles gets shoved back into that escape pod before the door closes. Henry in the escape pod probably wouldn't have enough time to react because this all happens so fast. So basically, the toppat pulls Charles out instead of Hen this time around. YAAY ANGST!1!1!!1!!

He's adopted along with Charles by Galeforce because I said so. Dadforce supremacy.

In endings/routes where Charles "befriends 😳" Henry, Cam is a bit jealous of him. He's also worried that he may be a bad influence because of his criminal past. Despite that, they're still friends, and he slowly but surely gains trust. All the good things Charles says about him plays a big factor in that.

He somehow made time out of his busy military work schedule to become a professional Mario Kart Wii speedrunner.

He has a cat, but I'm still working on that. Calico or orange cat maybe?

He stays up super late when he doesn't have work the next day. He rummages through the kitchen at 3 AM for snacks like some sleep paralysis demon or some shit. Sometimes Charles catches him in the act.

He and Rupert are good friends. They have a friendly rivalry and constantly compete to see who's better at something or start bickering over dumb shit. He calls him "shorty."

He messes around with Charles about his crush on Henry.

He also messes around with Rupert about Dave.

Basically, don't let Cam know you have a crush. He will be annoying about it for what feels like an eternity.

Yes, of course he would sing "this is the greatest plan" and whatnot with Charles while crashing their helicopter. It was mandatory for this to be canon from the very beginning.

He's autistic, but it's not as obvious as Charles' autism.

Woke up at 5am on the dot today thinking I'd fallen back asleep after my 7am alarm (obviously not) so I decided to treat myself this morning.

- avocado toast with scrambled egg and a little crack of this salt mix I have (it's got a little citrus peel in it, it's lovely.)

- peach black tea (highly recommend, it tastes like peach cobbler without the texture holy shit) with oak milk cold foam and a little sprinkle of cinnamon for some pizzazz

It is my sincerest and unironic belief that we must invest in preserving "old technology." The more we move to a hegemonic, easily-surveilled way of living, the worse we will find this world to be.

Letters, public phones and transport, cash, and so much more are key to ensuring both freedom of movement and information, but also to combat the surveillance state. We need to preserve the ability to both access the world but also to be untraceable. I truly hope more people start to recognize this. It isn't about nostalgia for the past. It is about ensuring that we are actually afforded freedom, from the richest person to the person who lives on the sidewalk.
