My take on Yamisoka Circus AU

Mélinda Astier-Innocenti

She still has her powers in this au.

She's fourteen in this AU.

Her parents are both alive and she has a younger brother.

She wants to get herself hired in the circus as a snake charmer, Akira REFUSE.

Now she's ready comes back in her third form hoping to be hired as "a freak monster".

Her third form = humanoid silhouette; snake skin; in this form Mélinda body has her regular outline but his covered with scales.

Isidore Astier-Innocenti

He's eleven.

He loves the circus as much as his sister but doesn't wants to get himself hired.

He has a crush on Hana-Marie.

Prue Stoudamire

Prue is Dinah Lance's ward.

She's seventeen in this au.

Prue still have scares burns all over her face. Her face is indeed wrapped under bandages.

She gets herself hired in the circus only to spy on them.

Riley Hunter

Riley is a normal girl who frequently goes to the circus cause it's a good circus.

Potential dialogues/situations:

Prue: "search in the circus files". / Eiji: What are you doing? / Prue "lying": I'm looking for my contract.

Mélinda: Can I? / Denji: I- / Akira: NO!

Riley: "in the crowd is having a good time"

Isidore: Comment vas-tu, ma colombe? / Hana-Marie: "laughs"

More Yamisoka Circus Au:

I decided to more or less expand on their roles in the circus.

The Dent Twins handle the tickets and circus fares, only to hand all the money over to Adam for him to count up.

Adam getting really annoyed when he can’t find Denji or any of the Yamisoka siblings until it’s time for their shows to start.

Amias doing cotton candy art to entertain the kiddies as they get ready for Ahmya and Hibiki’s show.

Morgan running all the food stands but always changing his appearance someway, somehow so no one knows it’s him. Too bad Alex notices him so he has speak with some unconvincing accent.

One of the mini shows of the circus is the ice skater and fire breather (Holly and Nick) where Nick ‘breathes’ out fire and creates all these amazing obstacles for Holly to ice skate around. How the ice doesn’t melt is because of a magical enchantment Cora and Priscilla put on.

Cora is a spy and is always wandering around the circus to find meta-humans, along with Sadie and Lexi.

Izzy is actually Hibiki and Ahmya’s protege and sometimes even preforms with them. If anything, Ahmya might start getting protective sister feelings for her.

Whenever Levi has to fix one of the props that are too high for him or a stage light, Eiji can easily pick him up and place him on his shoulder. 

Jack Rabbit being the guide to help anyone lost in the circus, he’s run into Abigail a few times but she always seems to want to find Hibiki so Jack tries to help her as much as possible.

Sometimes Himari visits the circus and you can tell because the dashing Yamisoka siblings all seem to just be really terrified and demand that everything is perfect. Even Akira is incredibly afraid at the mere mention of his mother.

Denji often keeping his eye on Skylar, totally not because he has a crush on her, just because she’s a lot trickier than he expected.

Valentino attends every single one of Eiji’s magic shows because he doesn’t trust any of the wolfish men in the crowd to keep their hands to themselves once Hana is on stage.

I'm now debating whether or not to make Mitsuki alive because on one hand, it'd be much more sadder if she died but on the other hand, I would just love it if they reunited like this:

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU WERE ALIVE?!"

"What? Did you want me to be in your trailer all: "Hi honey, Akai unlocked the tiger cage just in time before they killed me! How was your night? Besides you TRYING TO KILL ME WITH TIGERS?!"

The Circus has been under investigation multiple times and have been taken to court for many things but one case everyone will remeber is the case of the animal tamer and the possible murder of his fiancée.

It looked like the end of the circus but somehow Akira managed to win the case but if you look at the pictures in the newspapers, you can tell that by the look on his face he certainly didn't feel like a winner.

Anyone who asks him about the murder case or Mitsuki's disspearance in general see that his smile grows uncomfortably wider to reveal his fangs and his eyes become cold and hardened as he gently pats their shoulder and tells them to enjoy the show.

Never answering their questions.

Eiji has 100% tried to seduce Oliver and it almost worked. Oliver avoids the magic show like the fucking plague unless it calls for his investigation and while Eiji is dating Juliette now, he can't resist humiliating Oliver and choosing him to be the guest star.

Dinah and Hana find it hilarious when Oliver starts shouting out how Eiji's tricks are done and then Eiji casually dunks him in the water tank because "Oops, slip of the hand!"

For the Circus AU, Eliza would be one of those people who does tricks with swords. Adam would be the circuses accountant. No one would ever guess they're married.

I love it!

Denji most certainly keeps them away from what the Circus is mainly for, he doesn't want to freak them out, of course.

I bet it annoys Adam to take orders from an 18 year old.

      I’ve decided that Mitsuki is going to be alive in the Yamisoka Au, it’s just that she ran away after nearly being killed by her lover and now lives with some family within Star City.

      Akira thinks he’s going crazy when he sees a woman on the street that looks exactly like his Mitsu and goes to the city a lot more to try and find her. It might not be his Mitsuki but on the other hand, he doesn’t remember much from the night that he ‘killed’ her.

How do you all feel about the detectives hanging around the circus?

Kagami: It’s obviously jeopardizing our entire operation but Denji insists on toying with them.

Eiji: Oliver’s fun to mess with.

Hana: And his girlfriend is a total knock-out! The blonde, I mean.

Ahmya: I rather like Clair and Skylar, Abigail is quite adorable as well.

Hibiki, signing: I like her and Clair...they’re both very nice!

Akira: I’m with Hana, Miss Lance is hot.

Akai: I feel really bad whenever he thinks I’m Denji but I find it kinda funny.

Denji: Such a pity that Miss Jordan is much more smarter than Oliver. There are some detectives I liked, though.

Do you all have any favorite acts, other than your own?

Kagami: I like Holly and Nick’s fire and ice act. It’s very hypnotic.

Eiji: I guess...Akira’s animal taming isn’t that bad.

Hana: I love going to see Ahmya and Hibiki’s acrobatic act! But would it kill you two to wave back at me?

Ahmya: Considering we need two hands at all times, yes. Yes it would. As for the question, I like PJ’s stand-up comedy.

Hibiki, signing: I’m with Eiji, Akira’s trained his animals very well.

Akira: Aw, I like it when you guys don’t hate me for a few minutes! Anways, I guess Eiji’s magic act isn’t too bad. It’s funny seeing Hana get angry.

Akai: I liked the acrobats show, as well! If not then maybe Thomas’s shooting, it’s impressive how well he aims.
