My Forgotten Love (Yandere BOTW x reader)
Tumblr media
Link often wonders if he's better off without his memories.
As he explores across the distant land of Hyrule, he's constantly bombarded with echoes of the past, of the person he once was.
He was a hero, a knight who wields the master sword, the sword that seals the darkness. He protected the princess of Hyrule, the one who carries the power of the Triforce of wisdom. He was strong, courageous, brave. Thats what everyone told him anyway.
He never felt strong, courageous, or brave. In fact, he was afraid most of the time. Afraid of dying, afraid of his past, afraid of what lies ahead of him once his journey is over. He was always somewhat afraid, but as the last protector of Hyrule, there was no place for fear. So, he buried it all down, never acknowledging it, in the hope it would disappear.
The fear bubbled up and almost spilled out of him when he found an abandoned house near castle town that caused his head to spin. It was lonely, Link would've missed it if it wasn't for the pain it caused. it was small, only a single person could've lived there, but it felt homey, and strangely warm as he walked inside. It was a single room decorated with a desk, bed, and fireplace, a pot hanging above it. The walls were covered n maps, notes, and other little writings that were worn to time.
The desk was in the far corner of the room, a single, unlabeled book, on top of it. It called to him, like a distant friend you haven't seen in a while, filling his body up with warmth that drowned out the pain he previously felt. His body moved on its own, quickly opening it up, reading note that was attached inside the back of the cover.
"(Y/N) (L/N)'s personal diary. Please do not read if your name if Purah or Robbie."
(Y/N). (Y/N)? Why does his chest hurt when he reads the name? Ignoring it, he flipped the page, absorbing the words on the page.
Entry 1:
"I don't know how to start this. Purah had suggested starting a diary log to record my day to day. Why you ask? I never got a straight answer from her. Purah's like that, bringing things up quickly and dropping them just as fast. Either way, I guess recording my thoughts isn't that bad. As long as it gets, Purah off my back for a while, I'll do whatever she asks. Speaking of Purah, Impa (her younger sister), recommended her to the Princess to study the recently excavated Shaikah tech. Is it bad to say I'm jealous?
Entry 2:
Purah can definitely tell I'm jealous. Maybe she's been reading my diary? I don't know. It might be because I'm kinda avoiding her, but it's only because I've been busy with my studies, nothing else. Either way, she's been talking nonstop to me and Robbie about her studies of the shrines. Speaking of Robbie, Purah put him in charge of the guardians, which he seems very eager about. It was then when I asked her if I could help out. She didn't give a straight answer, like always, but I could tell she was holding something bad, like she was thinking heavily about something.
Entry 3:
I'm very excited! Purah came to me and said she talked to the Princess, and she agreed to let me study the Divine Beasts! I could barely contain my happiness; I ran write home to start writing this (sorry about my handwriting). I plan on thanking Purah properly after I meet the Princess. Apparently, she'll bring me up to speed on somethings I need to know about the Beasts before boarding them. I'm just so excited, I need to take a nap before I write off this page.
Entry 4:
Princess Zelda was very kind, but that was to be expected. She was more than happy to listen to my hypothesis about the Divine Beasts. She was accompanied by her sworn protector, Link. He was, quiet, to say the least. He didn't really, do that much, just listened to our conversations quietly. It was sort of awkward, but I got over it quickly. It was weird though, it felt like his gaze was on me more than it was on the Princess. Even when I left, his stare was almost imprinted on me. Maybe it was my fault, probably. Anyway, on the Princess's request, I'll be traveling to the Devine Beasts with him. I won't be able to write then, so see you soon!
Entry 5:
I'm happy to be home. The journey around Hyrule took a little over a month, and it was very tiresome. There's lots to talk about. Firstly, I met the Champions, at least most of them. I was unable to meet Daruk, Champion of Vah Rudania. Death Mountain is too dangerous for Hylians, and it would be dangerous to bring it down the mountain. Hopefully I'll get to meet him soon, I've heard a lot of great things about him. The other Champions were great, well most of them. Revali, Champion of Vah Medoh was...very boastful. He talked a lot, mostly about himself. But I guess I would be boastful if I could pilot a Devine Beast.
I think I got closer with Link. I say think because it was really hard to tell. It took a while to get him to talk, he was silent most of the time I tried. It got to the point where I just talked about everything, just so I wouldn't have to sit in silence. Eventually, when he reached Zora's domain, he started to talk. It was sparce, but he would talk about what life was like as a child. I learned he liked to cook (his cooking is very good). He also let me talk about my findings and while it was obvious he didn't understand most of it, it was nice for him to listen to me.
I had a really great time. I hope Link did too.
Entry 6:
I think I'm being watched. Zelda has been requesting my appearance at Hyrule Castle more and more, I practically live there. Every time I step foot there, I can't help but feel like someone is watching me. I never bring it up, since I'm with the princess most of the time and I don't want to bother her. I have some ideas on who it could be, but no concrete answers. I sometimes catch Revali staring at me whenever he has business at the castle, but even when he's not there, I can feel someone's eyes on me. Honestly, I think Revali might just be hung up on me visiting Vah Medoh with one of his least favorite people (sorry Link). There's also one of the men within Hyrule's royal guard, I believe his name was Thomas. He’s pretty shy, but he had a bunch of questions about my research. We talked for a while before I was pulled away by the princess and Link. Speaking of Link, he’s been a little on edge lately, especially with the other members of the guard. He says it because they’re “distracted”. He’s even become a little, clingy? I don’t know, it’s probably just my imagination, I’m going to bed.
Entry 7:
I haven’t seen Thomas in a while. He hasn’t shown up to the castle in weeks. Link said he was slacking off and he got what he deserved, honestly it was kinda scary. I even brought it up to the princess, but she really didn’t seem to care. I hope he’s okay.
Honestly, I haven’t seen really anyone in a while. Since Zelda is nearing her 17th birthday, she’s been up at the shrine of wisdom trying to awaken her powers. Link has been with her, same with the champions, and Purah and Robbie have been busy with preparing for Ganon. It’s been really stressful, all I can really do is try to help them, and pray to Hylia that everything turns out okay.
The rest of the pages, which are slightly burn and blank, fill Link with dread. You were someone he knew, someone he cared for, someone he loved, how could he forget you? This journal is the only thing he has to remember yoh by, and it makes him want to lay down and die. Out of all the people in all of Hyrule, why wasn’t he able to protect you. This was his fault.
Link doesn’t acknowledge the tears that runs down his face as he pockets the journal with immense care so to not damage it. He doesn’t wipe them from his face as he leaves the house that brought him a fleeting sense of comfort and warmth. And Link doesn’t flinch as the tears continue to steam and hit the grown as he walk away, heading towards Hateno.

@shinjisdone if you still like BOTW mutual.
I hope this came out well- It's not really gorey but Zelda never usually is so-
Yandere! BOTW! Link Concept
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Overprotective behavior, Violence, Mentions of death, Manipulation, Dubious affection, Dubious/Forced relationship.
Tumblr media
Like other Links in the past timelines, Link is also a quiet hero.
He most likely met you after his century long rest and resurrection.
If you think of what this Link has gone through... he's certainly been through a lot.
He's died trying to defend the kingdom, he wakes up to see all he cares about dead, he's alone as he tries to fix Hyrule.
Having a companion to help him along the way could potentially cause obsession.
He has no other companions when he first wakes up and begins to train.
Zelda is locked away to keep Ganon from growing in power.
The Champions have died with their spirits locked away in the Divine Beasts.
Sure, he gets companions and allies as he explores.
But his journey still feels rather lonely.
Not only that but he may not even remember them due to his memory loss.
You are the face that greets him when he manages to make it way into a village.
It's a surprise to see Link of all people 100 years after the battle.
However, you still make an effort to aid the hero.
Link notices the hope in your eyes as you offer him whatever supplies he may need.
You offer tools, scavenged weapons, food, water, whatever.
You even offer companionship.
Link naturally finds himself drawn to your helpful nature.
Your companionship touches his heart, friends are something Link needs during his journey.
You offer him a bed to rest and buy trinkets he finds to sell to you.
You help him find a good stable and horse to use on his travels.
The first village he visits, your village, he often revisits.
He hates that he doesn't remember much of anything.
All he knows is he has a purpose, even if his memories have been wiped away.
Part of him uses this to start new.
He allows you to be the first companion in his journey, one he can rely on as he grows stronger.
Link would still do what he's fated to do.
He'd challenge shrines to regain his strength.
Then he'd use such strength to aid Zora's Domain, Rito Village, Death Mountain, and Gerudo Valley.
Yet when it comes to rest, Link always treks back to your village on horse back.
It's like each day the knight of Princess Zelda comes back to you stronger.
He gives you a soft smile and holds out little things he's found for you.
You are too scared to leave your village most of the time due to Ganon's monsters.
So Link makes you feel like you're on this journey with him by gifting you treasures.
They're little gifts from him, it shows he cares.
Link's attachment to you grows as his journey continues.
He's silent, often speaking in actions more than words.
He's playful at times when he sees you again, encouraging you to hug him when he visits.
He takes you on horse back at times just to see things.
He promises to protect you outside of the village.
If any monster of malice threatens you, Link slays them with a blade and watches as the dark aura drains from them.
He apologizes with a hug that you nearly got hurt.
Truth is, he'd slay anything to protect you.
No matter how dirty the job is.
I feel Link trying to encourage romantic attraction between you would consist of gifts and physical affection.
He collects flowers on his journey to give you.
He collects shiny jewels for nothing but attention in return.
His hugs also appear to become longer the longer he's away.
Maybe he'll even sneak in a kiss on the cheek.
Before he lost his memories, Mipha and Zelda were potential partners he could choose.
But now... he only ever wants you.
In fact sometimes he wishes he didn't have to bear such responsibilities of piecing together Hyrule alone.
He just wants to settle down with you in your village.
He hates it when he has to part from you, especially for the final battle.
Even when he regains his memories, his thoughts of you stay rooted in his mind.
He no longer wants to be with Zelda romantically.
He's her knight, sure...
Yet he still wants you.
So when he comes back after saving Hyrule, why do you refuse him after everything?
You tell him he belongs with Zelda.
But he doesn't want that.
He wants you.
You seemed so susceptible to his affection before?
Every kiss, touch, hug, and gift....
Now... you won't embrace it.
You claim it was wrong to give into him, or that you never saw him in such a way.
Well... Link simply won't stand for that.
You've been a big help to him through his journey.
Even if you never physically came with, having somewhere to retreat to after battle felt fantastic with you.
Link isn't going to accept leaving you, he's tired of things never going his way.
So he decides he'll always stick by you, like it or not.
You can't get rid of him.
You can try to push, yell, and threaten him.
He doesn't listen.
He's fought off the evils of Hyrule just to be repaid with your affection.
He won't let you take that away from him now.
He's way stronger now and won't let you go.
You'll be safe with him... he promises to love you as repayment for helping him...
He's chosen to love you and no one else, even willing to even fight fate to stay beside you instead of anyone else.

How about Zelda and Link with maybe a princess darling that is fragile like getting bruised easily or maybe even they get sick really easily especially when they don't stay in the castle like they're supposed too but they are rebellious so they don't care if they get sick and sneak out whenever they can?
I’m sorry this took so long to respond to, got kinda busy-
mentions of illness, injuries, sabotaging an entire kingdom, arranged marriages, and overprotective/overbearing behavior
These two most likely fell for Darling because of their fiery passion and determination to keep going, even in their fragile state. It’s almost admirable just how far they’re willing to go in the name of rebellion.
But dear god, Darling is going to give these two heart attacks! Assuming they’re someone of royalty of another kingdom, there isn’t much they can do for them at first. The most they can do is scold Darling whenever they hear about them sneaking out, bandage their injuries, and visit when they get sick.
Honestly, if Darling’s kingdom isn’t able to properly protect them, then that kingdom doesn’t deserve Darling at all! They’d be much happier in Hyrule Kingdom!
Actually… that doesn’t sound all too bad.
Slowly but surely, Darling’s kingdom starts falling apart. The people never happen to have enough food, the water supply seems to be poisoned, monsters start attacking more and more, and a deadly disease seems to be plaguing their people. Darling’s parents try to help as much as they can, but their money starts running low.
Just when they’re about to lose hope, Hyrule Kingdom has a proposal to them. They will help them out of their problems, if they marry their child to Zelda.
Hyrule Kingdom is more than strong enough to fend off a few monsters, they have plenty of riches to provide for their people, and their scientists are smart enough to solve their water and disease problems. They also don’t mind letting Darling stay in Hyrule castle to protect them while they sort everything out.
Not to mention, Darling’s parents know how reckless their child can be… Perhaps Hyrule Kingdom can help mellow them out? After all, Zelda is such a regal young woman, the spitting image of a perfect princess. It would be an honor to have their name associated with her!
Even if Darling rebels against this, the choice is set in stone. No matter what Darling does, they’ll always be brought back to the arms of their beloveds.
If they try to sneak out at night, Link is always there to restrain them, holding them firmly enough that they can’t escape, but gently enough that they won’t be hurt. Darling is brought back to Zelda’s room, and even more locks are added to the doors.
Should they, against all odds, successfully escape the castle, congratulations! They’ll be able to enjoy a whole twenty minutes outside if they’re extra lucky!
Every single knight is ordered to search for them, and the moment they’re found, Zelda is scolding them like a mother would her child while searching over you for any injuries. If she sees so much as a scratch on their delicate form, they aren’t allowed to leave her room for a week.
The worst thing about it is that nobody sees anything wrong with this. Sometimes, they might seem just a tiny bit overbearing, but can you blame them? When your fiancé has such a daredevilish personality despite their fragile build, how can you not worry? Besides, they’re the Hylian Princess and the Hylian Champion. They must know what they’re doing!
Oh well. It can’t be that hard for Darling, can it?
Whenever they get sick, Zelda wraps them up in the finest silk she can get her hands on while Link prepares a warm meal just for them. Neither leave Darling’s side for the rest of the day, no matter how much they’re scolded for it.
Zelda absolutely spoils Darling, dressing them up like a precious, porcelain doll. If they ever ruin it their expensive clothes in their attempts to escape, oh well. At least this gives her a chance to find something even lovelier for them to wear.
Link is surprisingly affectionate with Darling. He can’t really be openly affectionate with them around others, since they’re officially married to Zelda, but behind closed doors, Darling gets to see the Link that adores cooking and baking, the Link that loves to bury his face in their neck after a long, exhausting day, the Link no one else gets to see.
These two can be surprisingly soft for them.
So please, Darling, please just behave.

Momma I've been playing breath of the wild again and just link has invaded my brain again. I usually stick to the idea of like traveling alongside him and possibly not even having your own horse so you gotta ride either behind or in front tot him and just AGH
And in the aspects of it being yandere link, even if you could help him fight monsters and what not, he doesn't let you get near them and then when it gets to the part where he has to sneak into the gerudo town, with those creepy men there, I could see him being a tad unhinged about it possibly, what with all those creeps around oogling you and your body? He'd have every right to.
In short, yandere botw link is festering in my brain and I'd gladly go around hyrule with him 😩
You aren’t allowed to be out of his sight in new towns, if a traveler stops for a chat he does all the talking in case they’re a Yiga clan member in disguise (or see that he’s utterly obsessed with you and try to take you away. It’s a perfectly valid fear! )
He probably watches you bathe when you’re given time to care for yourself or you two have stopped to camp for the evening. He insists on sleeping next to one another in the colder regions, conserving and sharing body heat and what not, all to cop a feel and fantasize about how good you’ll feel underneath him and his bare hands.
He’s so stoic and calm sometimes I have a hard time truly understanding what type of yandere he would be. I like to think he’s the type to want to care for you in every way. From feeding you by hand, to brushing your hair and washing you himself, speaking for you (much to your annoyance) when new people greet you and ask a few questions. He just loves to be your protector!

𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊 Yandere Wild 𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊
"Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to a wall. Not that I mind. I just wish that I could understand what goes on in your mind sometimes."
Wild staring unblinkingly at Reader.
Wild's thoughts: I have the best travel companion. They're so eretheral. It is like Hylia blessed me after a hundred years. It almost makes the entire thing worth it. I would fight Ganon for all of eternity just to see them smile. To feel them touch my wounds and scold me. To feel their skin against mine while we are laying underneath the stars. To see their smile. To see their blush. To save them. To see them sing, or dance, or cook. To just see them exist is enough for my heart to swell.
"Truly an enigmatic soldier. Few words spoken— only action."
Wild's thoughts: Goddesses, their voice is sweeter than any honey. I would kill for them. I would die for them. I would kidnap them if Ganon ever rose again. I would kidnap them in a heart beat. I could kidnap them...
"Hey, Wild. Dinner's ready. You better get some before Twlight runs off with the cauldron in his wolf form again."
Wild's thoughts: Dinner. Dinner? DINNER! MY FAVORITE! I want to slaughter their worst enemy and put their head on a stick for them. Truly, it wasn't Hylia, the Champions, the Chain, nor even Zelda who kept me safe and alive during this journey... it was you.

My Forest spirit
A legend of Zelda BOTW/TOTK Yandere x Reader. This is obviously cannon divergent. Fem!Y/N is short and Curvy in this, and is often described with long hair. This story will contain NSFW!scenes, violence and profanity. MDNI
Next Chapter
Tumblr media
Chapter 1: My knight in shinning armour
“Yahaha you found me!” A little Korok laughed as I stared down at him.
My ears twitched excitedly as it jumped up into my arms. The little forest spirits loved me. They always have. I grew up in this forest after my mother left me here. The clothes on my back are woven from fronds the Koroks brought me and I just ran around barefoot. I’ve only ever seen anyone like me once. He wore a cloak and was muttering about stopping the “princess” whatever that means.
A group of Koroks ran past my legs as the shaking of maracas grew closer. Their behaviour startled me, they shouldn’t fear Hestu… they’re a close friend of all of us.
“Sister Y/N! There are people, we must hide!”
I was dragged behind a tree as Hestu’s humming grew louder. Strange clacking noises grew closer, as well as other voices.
“I can’t believe you of all people will wield the Master Sword!”
“Revali ease up on Link, he’s a wonderful knight to me!” A feminine voice called back.
My eyes widened at the voices! No one ever enters the forest, what are they here for? What is a… Master Sword? I watched from behind the tree and the silent man in the middle of the group glanced in my direction. My large frond mask was still covering my face, so I scurried behind the tree with the other Koroks. They continued further into the forest and I ran between trees to watch them. As they approached the centre of the forest, I realised what they had come for, the strange thing in the ground. So that’s what it’s called, the Master Sword.
The silent one stepped forward and grabbed the hilt of the ancient blade. He grunted in pain as he pulled it up out of the ground and held it above his head proudly. I watched him from atop a tree, eyes wide and excited. Based off of Hestu’s cheers, this must be an amazing accomplishment. I should cheer too.
I clapped excitedly as the Koroks beside me seemed confused but then joined me in celebration. The group gasped and looked up to where we were, drawing these strange objects from their backs. Hestu gasped and ran in front of them.
“NO NO! Weapons down, you can’t hurt Sister Y/N!”
Weapons? My eyes widened beneath the mask as I slid to be hidden by the leaves. One of the women step forward, her tan skin and deep crimson hair complimented by the deep green of the Forrest. She placed her curved blade on the floor and held her hands up beside her head.
“Please don’t run dear, we had no idea you were friend not foe. The war has everyone incredibly stressed.”
“War?” I mutter, poking my head out of the leaves.
Hestu looks up at me and laughs gesturing for me to jump down. I slid off of the tree and landed on the stone beside Hestu. They shake their maracas happily as I smile at them beneath my mask. The woman who had spoken to me seemed shocked, I’m unsure why though.
“Ah… my apologies for staring, that was rude. My name is Urbosa, I’m assuming you’re Y/N.”
I nod as a few Koroks come and stand beside my legs, watching the group closely and protectively.
“This is Sister Y/N! She’s a spirit of the forest like the Koroks and I!” Hestu happily said.
“Sister? She’s clearly not anything like you all! She looks like your average Hylian!” The strange bird person yelled.
The large man behind him slapped him on the back. He winced but stayed quiet as the blonde woman stepped forward.
“I’m so sorry for us startling you Y/N. We had to retrieve the Master Sword to help win the war against Ganon. Do you… live here? What are you wearing?”
“Fronds.”
“Ah, so you do speak. I suppose you’re like Link then, he only speaks around his friends.”
“Link?”
“Yes, he’s my knight, the one with the Master Sword.”
“Master… I used to..”
“Did you guard the sword?” She asked.
“No, I used to use the zappies it made to start my campfires! How am I meant to start fires now?” I frown, jabbing the man beside her.
He just pulled a strange rock from his pocket and place it in my hand. I raised a brow and he pulled out a second, striking it against the stone on the floor and lighting a stick on fire nearby.
“Whoa! Pocket campfire! Fair trade fair trade!” I hold the rock in my hand in wonder, removing my mask to get a better look at it.
The man before me just stared straight at my face before grabbing my wrist.
“Huh? You can’t have it back, it was a trade!”
He just grunted and pulled me up off the ground and held me over his shoulder. One hand held the Master Sword while the other rested on the bump of my behind. The breeze ran right through me as his hand rhythmically squeezed. Is this how people interact? The Koroks don’t really have hands… maybe it’s to make sure I wouldn’t fall.
“Link! That’s inappropriate!”
“Hyaa!” He began to run, his grip becoming tighter as began to slip and held him in fear.
“LINK!”
“SISTER Y/N! Awww, maybe it’s good she sees the outside world, look after her.” Hestu sighed.
“Of course, we will,” Urbosa answered. Running to catch up with the others who were chasing Link.
Tumblr media
New Yandere gained, Link.
Hey look at you, you managed to capture the knights heart! Now time for some facts about your new Yandere. (basically head cannons)
It's no surprise that Link is incredibly protective over you, he would let Zelda die if it meant he could ensure your safety.
He's also very physically affectionate. He must always have at least one hand on you and when he hasn't for a long time... He tends to get very handsy.
He gives you plenty of kisses the moment that people stop looking. If he feels like someone is moving in on his “territory” he will just begin groping you from behind until they get the message.

Hey I’ve got something in the works for Halloween but it’s probably going to be late, so it’s going to be more like a mid-November thing. But I’ll at least whip up some tasty art because you guys deserve something nice for the holiday.
Anyways, in the meantime I wanted to share a line of thought I’ve had for a while about Wild’s memories and his attitude towards both himself and Flora.
It’s kind of an analysis/speculation type of thing where I look at the memories in “Breath of the Wild” and see how these memories could have affected Wild’s current mental state in the actual comic, so not explicitly yandere.
All art belongs to Jojo!
So first things first, something that I’m sure a lot of people have pointed out is that Link’s memories in Botw aren’t actually about him so much as they are about Zelda.
From a writing standpoint, this at least makes a little sense since Zelda is supposed to be an important character in the game and since she’s currently preoccupied with keeping Calamity Ganon at bay, using the memories to explore her character is a reasonable thing to do.
But from an in universe perspective, this doesn’t feel very fair to Link. We rarely get to see events from his perspective and instead see things from the perspective of Zelda or some other character. Plus, we get no memories that truly focus on Link himself before he became Zelda’s personal knight. Anything we do know about Link is derived from comments characters make(like Zelda mentioning Link’s father) or diary entries.
Logically, this would all make Link kind of alienated from his past self, a stranger to this “Him” he used to be.
And we know that Link only ever regains memories of the Princess and not of himself, because when Zelda talks to him after he regains the final memory, she says this:
Tumblr media
Note how she says “of us” and not just “all your memories from 100 years ago.” So there aren’t any little gaps in between shown memories where Link collects memories beyond the time he was with Zelda, at least none that exist beyond headcanons.
Anyways, I want to talk a little about Urbosa because for as well meaning as she may have been, I think some of the things she says in two memories in particular relate pretty heavily to Wild’s self esteem in the comic.
There’s two things she says in particular that I think would’ve stuck with Link — and thus — Wild.
The first one is this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We don’t know what order Wild collected his slate memories in the comic, but if we assume that he decides to collect them in the order of which photos came first on the slate then what Urbosa says would most likely affect Wild heavily.
He’s basically got no solid self image of himself or especially not the self he was 100 years prior. So one of the first things he learns about himself being that he was “a living reminder of Zelda’s own failures” when he goes on to recover more and more memories relating to Zelda and her failures just feels like unintentional set up for Link to develop some more self loathing issues.
But being fair to Urbosa, she is basically Zelda’s surrogate mother and by this point has known Link for maybe a day or two. She’s not obligated to worry about him. Plus at the very least she does add on that this is how the Princess sees him, not what he actually is.
The second comment from Urbosa is this:

Prefacing this with saying, again, Urbosa does clarify that Link doesn’t hold any blame for the way Zelda sees him at this point, so good on her for that.
But still this is almost the exact same sentiment being repeated, Link’s own struggles are ignored in favor of focusing on how his success is interpreted as Zelda’s failure. Even if Urbosa adds on that this isn’t his fault it’s just how Zelda is, from Link’s perspective that’s got to leave some kind of impact on him. Perhaps guilt?
So to summarize, because of the selection of memories we know Link collects in canon, it’s logical to assume that Link’s view of himself in the present and from a hundred years ago would be rather negative.
And this perfectly reflects how Wild acts in the comic.
I don’t know about you but to me Wild has always had a particularly toxic view of himself from 100 years ago. He barely sees his past self as himself, instead calling that past iteration “Him” like he’s talking about a separate person. And he’s always given me the vibes of both resenting his past self while simultaneously wanting to be him again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The way he talks about his past self being capable of feats he could never see himself doing shows that Wild in part seems to see his current self as “lesser than” his past self, especially when it comes to how the Master Sword responded to him at different points in his life. So it’s not a stretch to say that Wild may want to “be” that person again, especially since we see him use the sword at least one time.
But because of his perceived “failure” and possibly how he made Flora feel, he also resents the gifted prodigy he once was, not seeing that he was and has always been a human person with his own struggles.
Anyways this is sloppy and messy but I wanted to get this off my chest because I think it’s really interesting.

yandere paya
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: paya x gn!reader
tags: slight angst / hurt, devoted paya, soft yandere paya
Tumblr media
paya is so devoted to you, that she'd do anything to make you happy, even if it means she'd suffer
she's very open about being a yandere for you as well. she doesn't hide her obsession with you.
after all, she needs you to know how far she would go to make you happy, so that she can be useful to you and fulfill any of your requests
paya would kill for you, if you'd ask it of her. she'd even die for you, if it meant you were safe!
she would do all of those things, just to keep you happy. no matter who would have to suffer, if it ensures you are happy, it'll be worth it
at least, that's what she keeps telling herself. that you're in the right and that her beloved darling would never demand such cruel things from her, if there wasn't a good reason for it…

Since you mentioned doing botw requests, would you be able to write another part to forgotten love, where it turns out reader was isekaid
Like they were there before the calamity, managed to get home then ended up back in hyrule - and back with yan!link?
Also just gonna say that how you write link as a yan is absolutely incredible and I'd love to see more about how you think he'd act post calamity when he's more feral
Forgotten Love Pt. 2 (Yandere BOTW).
Tumblr media
I really like this ask, so I'm incorporating it into the part 2. Thank you, Anon. (Also, for the case of the story, Legend of Zelda isn't a game).
I tried to expand the relationships the reader has with the other characters, so I hope this is good.
Also, also. I got all the glyphs, most of the memories (except for 1, 11, 14, 16, and 18) and finished all the temples so use that as a reference for your asks.
"(Y/N)! Are you seriously not listening to me right now?!"
You shot up, nearly spilling the coffee in your hands. You look across from you to see your coworker Alice, giving you a stern look with her arms cross. She wasn't really your friend, at least in your eyes, but you were glad to have someone to talk to.
You look down at your coffee, which was now cold, and give Alice a nervous giggle. She scoffs and eats the last bite she had left of her croissant. Whipping her mouth free of crumbs, she rolls her eyes at you, "seriously (Y/N), you need to get your head out of the clouds." She picks up her empty coffee cup and used napkin. She eyes you before, giving you a sigh and sympathetic look.
"Look, (Y/N), you need to get some help with your dreams. You've been struggling with work and barely leave your house. Try going to a sleep doctor, or anything. Please." Alice sounded desperate, looking down at you with sad eyes, before leaving you alone in the cafe.
You knew Alice was right, your dreams have been very, life like, to say the least. You can only remember a few bits and pieces, like the sounds and smells, but nothing concrete. You've tried talking to Alice about it, but it just sounds like your crazy, and you can tell she worried for you.
---
"Do you remember them?" It was a strange question that the Princess barely understood. Zelda looks at her sworn protector, raising an eyebrow at him. He gives her a short look before continuing.
"(Y/N)." Link says, his voice quiet. Zelda's hand tightens around the torch at the sound of your name. Her pace slows as her looks down at the grown, sadness filling her body. Link stops and looks back at her, his face dark and baren of any emotion.
"I do." She says sorrowful. It would be a lie to say she hasn't thought about you in the last 100 years. In fact, she constantly thought about you. She often thinks about your friendship, how you helped her grow her knowledge of ancient sheikah materials, how you comforted her when she came back from another day unable to awaken her powers. You were there for her, and she wasn't, and now you're gone.
When Zelda looks back up, Link is staring directly at of her, eyes unmoving. It was scary, his intensity. She stepped back a little but kept her composure nicely. "Why do you ask?"
Link ignores the question, "There's nothing less of them." Link voice is monotone, but that doesn't scare Zelda, it's the blank gaze behind his eyes when he talks about you.
Zelda walks up closer to Link, taking her place besides him. She gives him a hard look, courage filling her body, "We lost a lot of people in the Calamity."
Link was silent as they continue to walk in the darkness underneath the castle. Zelda took a small breath at Link's silence, aiming the torch further ahead of her. Although it was quiet, her mind was filled with you. She knew Links feeling for you, she knew how dark and possessive they were, but she couldn't blame herself for your death. Thousands of lives were lost in the Calamity and while she will always cherish you, you were gone, and there were bigger things to focus on.
Like now, the murals in front of them, depicting the beginnings of Hyrule. She stares at them in wonder, "Look Link!" She hands him the torch, grabbing her Purah pad to take a picture, "This is fascinating!" Link didn't respond, not that Zelda noticed as she took her pictures. Satisfied, she put the pad back on her belt and took the torch, motioning for Link to follow.
As they walked deeper and deeper down, the air became thicker and thicker. Link instinctively grasped his sword, removing it from the sheath on his back. The room slowly became red, smoke floating around them and filling their lungs. The hallway was only illuminated by Link's master sword and the torch Zelda was holding, slowly revealing the mummified body ahead, a glowing hand protruding out of it.
As they slowly move closer, the hand falls, a stone falling and rolling towards Zelda. The crouches down and pokes at it, before cradling it in her hand. A bright light emanates from it before a deep beating sound everts her attention back to the mummified corpse.
The corpse shifts and jolts awake with many cracks, rising up slowly before falling back down, his jaw hanging loosely open. It was silent for a second, Link moving in front of the Princess, waiting. His grip on the Master Sword tightens and his stance becomes firm as Zelda holds the stone close to her chest, the torch still in hand.
Suddenly, the corpse turns toward them, his eyes fiery red as the red smoke billows from them. Red tendrils start rushing out of the open would that was once covered by the glowing hand, beelining towards the two. Link thrusts the Master Sword forward, piercing one of the tendrils in its center, but it barely flinches as it travels up right hand, stealing him of any previous power he once had. Link winces in pain as he grasps his arm, which was now covered in the strange substance. Barely a second later, the tendrils are moving back towards him, Link swinging his sword forward to stop the attack, only to witness the powerful sword be shattered, the tip shooting forward and grazing the corpse on the cheek.
"Link!" Zelda calls out, concerned for his safety. Link makes no sound as he focuses on the reanimated corpse moving in front of him.
"Was that the sword that seals the darkness? A blade that shatters so easily against my power cannot save you from me." It groans, slowly standing, vile pops and squelches coming from its body. "Zelda..." It drones, her eyes widening at the call of her name. Her breath wavers as she moves closer to Link, who the corpse is now directing its attention too.
"You, who carries that fragile sword." Its words are filled with disdain, "are Link." Link faulters, but only for a second as the corpse continues.
Finally, at its full height, it looks down upon the two Hylians, "Rauru placed his faith in you..." He looks almost smug, "and that was all you could do?"
"How do you know our names?" The corpse ignores Zelda's question as the strange substance that previously attacked them bursts out of its chest once more, flying towards the ceiling. It crumples piece by piece, shaking the ground below.
As Link's arm begins to radiate with pain, he hears the Princesses voice before succumbing to darkness.
---
A shiver ran up your spine randomly as you walk throughout your home. Your eyes were heavy as look around you for signs of unusual. Your apartment was dark and quiet, not strangle for the nighttime. Coming up with nothing odd, you shrug it off and back into your bedroom, closing the door behind you.
You sigh as you enter the comfort of your own bedroom, sitting down on your bed. You look at the time on your phone, 1:43am. You throw your phone down lightly and stare at your ceiling. You close your eyes and think of the dreams you had the previous nights, trying to come up with anything that you could explain to your therapist. You couldn't remember much, only faint hints of faces that became more and more unclear as you slowly drifted off into sleep.
---
The air around you feels warm, welcoming even. It envelopes you in a hug, and you can feel the sun beaming down on you snuggle deeper into what feels like grass.
Grass? That was strange. You open your eyes, covering them instantly when the sun enters them. It takes a second before moving to look at your surroundings. You were in the center of a large field, a few buildings far in the distance. Standing up slowly, you move your in front of you to keep your balance, your legs must've fallen asleep.
You stretch your arms above your head, attempting to get all of the sleep out of you. You stay relaxed, assuming this to be a dream. You don't feel all completely here, so it must be the case, right?
"Excuse me? Are you alright." A soft voice comes from behind you. You quickly turn around, coming face to face with a tan woman with long blond hair. Her arms and legs were covered in white markings, and her face was filled with concern. She moves closer to you, stopping when you move back in fear.
"Do you know who I am?" She frowns when you shake your head. She slowly moves closer to you, tilting her head in confusion, "Are you friends with Zelda?"
"Zelda? Who's Zelda." You question, causing the woman to pout. She cups her chin, assumingly to think, smiling when she is gifted with an idea.
"You should come with me." She speaks gently, "Me and my husband can help you." She moves her hand out for you to take.
You didn't know whether to trust her or not. You just met her but judging by her kind expression and willingness to help, you saw no issue with going with her. Either way, this was just a dream, so there's no harm. You walk up to her and take her hand, the woman smiling when you do so.
"I'm Sonia." She says, looking at you. You relax slightly, telling her your name as she leads you towards your destination.
---
Link no longer cares about time. The days and nights blend together without a care in the world, and Link does not blink an eye.
He wonders what Hylia has in store for him, subjecting him to this cruel fait again, right when he was starting to become acclimated to the world around him.
To take his memories from him, his powers from him, the only person he loved from him, he wonders what path she has for him, and if it will ever end.
Link no longer cares about his own wellbeing. Eating whatever food he can find, slaying any enemy with little remorse, traveling the skies and the depths of Hyrule with little fear. He no longer cares about the idea of hurting himself, not after everything was taken from him. Now, he wonders if death is the quickest way back to you.
The last time Link remembered being at peace was when he was with you. When you would brush his hair and talk to him about your research, never ending sentences spilling from your lips, not that he cared because he loved hearing your voice. When you would make him fancy dinners after being away from each other, when you would read to him as he fell asleep.
His favorite memory was when you first moved in with him, he was so nervous. He wanted to keep you with him, forever, and the best way to do that was moving in together. He spent weeks decorating the house to your liking, making sure everything was perfect, so when you finally came, it would be so nice you wouldn't want to leave.
But you did.
You left him all alone, to deal with the Calamity, the Upheaval.
Now, he sleeps alone in his bed in Terry Town, wondering if there was a way to bring you back to him. Maybe, if he did good, Hylia would gift you to him. Either that or he goes insane, because what would all his hard work be for.
---
It's your luck that Sonia takes you to a literal castle. It was large, in the center of the land, and screamed power. Sonia didn't seem too shocked at your surprise, in fact she seemed to revel in it, leading your through hallways and corridors until reaching the throne room.
The Throne Room was long and spacious, the ceiling was draped with blue cloths, strange symbols decorating the whole room. There were only two people in the room, a strange animal human hybrid who looked similar to a goat, and a young girl who looked similar to Sonia. They were making small talk before you walked in, turning towards you when you two walk in.
"(Y/N)?" The girl says, looking at you confused. She steps carefully towards you, eyeing your pajamas, which definitely looked weird compared to the flowy dress wear they were all wearing. She extends a handout to cup your face, her fingers shaking as they touch your skin.
You tense up at her touch, eyes darting from her to the man behind her, who moves closer to you slowly. "Is it really you?" She asks in a whisper. The man moves over to Sonia, his long hair flowing with him. He stands next to her and gives the two of you a confused look.
"Do they know each other?" The man asks. Sonia gives him coy smile.
"I guess so."
Suddenly, the girl is hugging you, wrapping you up so tight you could barely breath. Tears wet your shoulder as you awkwardly attempt to console the stranger. "I'm sorry, but I don't think I'm the person you're looking for." You pat her on the back, trying to pull away. She pulls back, still holding your arms giving you a muddled look.
"W-what do you mean?" She furrows her brows, tears still in her eyes. "You're (Y/N), right?" She gives a nervous smile, "I'm Zelda, remember?"
You shake your head, not remembering a thing. Zelda drops her hands back to her side, looking a way slightly before excusing herself, leaving the Throne Room in a hurry.
"Zelda!" The man calls out but was too late, Zelda was gone before he could say a word. The man looks at you apologetically, wrapping his arm around Sonia's waist.
"I apologize, she's been through, a lot, to say the least." He offers a smile similar to Sonia, one filled with warmth and compassion. "I am King Rauru, ruler of Hyrule." He gestures to Sonia, "And this is my wife, I'm assuming the two of you have meant.
You nod and Sonia laughs, "She appeared her similar to that of Zelda. I wonder if the two are related."
Rauru nods and the room was silent for a moment, your nervous shifting directing the attention to you. You cough and mess with the hem of your shirt, "So, what is this place anyway?"
Rauru becomes stiff, "You've never heard of Hyrule?" He frowns when you shake your head.
"Well that sure is strange." Sonia says with hint of curiosity, her husband shaking his head at her words. He looks at you, placing a hand on your shoulder.
"So, you must be from another world?" He watches as confusion and then understanding flash across your face.
"Oh, a dream." You laugh "This is all just a dream." You giggled to yourself, moving away from Rauru and Sonia as your demeanor suddenly becomes carefree.
Rauru lets out a small laugh at your behavior, watching as you move throughout the halls with an air of playfulness. "They sure are strange." He says whispering to his wife. She nods, hair bouncing with her movements.
"Oh, yes they are." She pauses, looking up at her husband with a knowing smile. "Should we tell them?"
Rauru shakes his head, "No, I think not."
---
Link awoke from the memory with a loud gasp, his heart nearly beating out of his chest. He moves away from the pool of water, not caring to wait for it to settle.
So that's where you were. In the past, with Zelda. He inhales, a pleased smile creeping onto his face. He grabs his hand, well, Rauru's hand, and cradles it on his chest. He knows this is the closest he's been to you in a long time, this hand is the only thing linking you to him.
Link wonders if he'd ever get to see you again. If you'd bless him with your presence once more and he could finally feel piece. Or, if he'd been forced to deal with your death, again.
He doesn't know if he couldn't handle it.
He knows he couldn't handle it.
So, as he stares into the palm of this strange hand, he makes a vow to you. To find you, and bring you home, and never let you out of his sight again.

Hey, wanna try my luck even though I don't have much hope I'll get in lol. If you cannot do anything with this, feel free to discard. May I get Yandere! BotW! Link with someone who's been with him since the start and he's slowly pushing his memories of his old life away cuz it hurts too much and rathers thinks and is with his new friend (and hopefully more like lover)? Like, just obssessive and...I just need some good yandere botw link. Make him suffer and then obsess over me thank you ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡)
I couldn't figure out how to make this a concept so I made this a short :D Enjoy, my mutual! I made this sorta based on my BOTW Link concept plot. Hope I got the tone of the fic right! Sorry it's not as long as yours :(

Sometimes the past should just be left in the past. Link wished that applied to him... as his life before losing his memories was torture. He's the fated hero of this land...
Yet he doesn't want the responsibility.
Why? Link is tired of the pain and the hurt. When he lost his memories he felt happy. He didn't have to remember the pain then.
Plus, Link had met you in the first town he approached. You offered the Hylian your services and even offered him a bed. From you he got food, a new set clothes, and somewhere go flee to if things got bad.
With you... there was no pain.
When Link left to fight monsters in the surrounding area he felt better knowing he wasn't alone. He didn't remember the pain of his friends dying. He didn't have to think about the fate of Zelda along with Hyrule itself.
The only thing that reminded him of his destiny was the Calamity swirling around the castle... something he sought to ignore.
Link didn't want to return to his destined path just yet. No, the Hylian felt so much more at home with you. In the village he felt momentarily protected from all of the hurt.
Link loved to live with you. He loved helping you cook recipes he's recently learned. You're a great friend and companion to him.
He even felt like there was more between you if he pushed a little further.
Why should he have to return to all that pain? Why should he face this all alone? Why can't he just feel safe curled up in your arms... away from the evils of the world.
Link wanted to drown himself in your affection to heal the pain. He wished he never regained his memories. If he still had them all locked away... could he live happily with you?
Whenever you ask him if he's recovered anything from his past life, he lies. He can't keep up the facade forever but he'll try to put it off as long as he can. He just wants to treat himself to your love.
Whenever the pain resurfaces he distracts himself with thoughts of you. He thinks of protecting you, caring for you, kissing you.... He thinks you're all he ever needs.
He keeps telling himself he can wait a little longer. He can hold off finding the Divine Beasts just a bit more. All so he can feel the warmth of your presence.
It's selfish... but he never gets the chance to be selfish.
He's tired of serving others. He's tired of the pain. He deserves to have someone like you in his life....
Perhaps even later, still under your hospitality, he can show you how much he loves you? He feels giddy just thinking about it. It all plays out in his head like a soothing fantasy against all of the pain.
He thinks of coming home to you from exploring. He thinks of you jumping into his arms and he twirling you around. He thinks of how it would feel if he kissed your lips, stealing the breath from your lungs. He thinks...
He wonder if this was the life he could've had if fate didn't have other plans.
A pang goes off in his heart at the thought. While you do some shopping outside he sits in his bed thinking of you, the fantasies, and the lingering pain.
No... he will have that life he desires. In the end he'll find a way to make it happen. He refuses to confront the pain gnawing at him.
When you come back... maybe he'll even confess! He'll show you how much he needs you. All the while ignoring what fate tells him to do....
He'll get rid of the Calamity and save Hyrule later...
Right now? He just wants to love you like there's nothing wrong in the world... or him

Thinking of a Yan!Link who was saved by Darling in the beginning of his journey.
Having lost all of his memories, including his battle knowledge, means he has to rely purely on muscle memory when it comes to fighting.
After a while, he does manage to reteach himself most of the basics and becomes a decent fighter. However, when a blood moon suddenly appears, he gets overwhelmed.
He’s parrying and blocking any attacks he can, all while taking any opening he can find to strike back. But he has his fair share of cuts and bruises, and his muscles are starting to ache.
Just as a Bokoblin is about to land a sneak attack, an arrow pierces its skull, rendering it to nothing but a cloud of smoke. Link watches as a hooded figure jumps around, slashing at the monsters, chopping their limbs off, shooting them in the face, before grabbing him by the arm and running off with him.
They help him onto their horse before climbing up after him. With a loud “Hya!” from his mysterious savior, the horse bolts off, leading the both of them away from danger.
The path has twists and turns, and the loyal steed is barely able to avoid incoming arrows, but they manage to get to a small shed in the woods. There, the horse skids to a stop, allowing him and the other warrior to get off.
The hooded figure brings Link inside, and once the door closes behind them, the person’s hood is lowered, their face no longer hidden in the shadows.
Immediately they begin scolding Link, asking what in the world he was doing. He could’ve been killed out there! He should know how deadly blood moons are!
Soon, though, they simply let out a sigh and tell him to relax. They sit him down at their dinner table and begin looking over him for wounds. Seeing his body littered with all sorts of injuries, they immediately get to work, applying necessary medicine and bandaging his wounds.
All the while, Link is in a trance. There’s so much of this person that leaves him absolutely taken aback.
Their face, they way they look at him with such concern over his health despite being a complete stranger.
Their fighting ability, how their body moved with such grace as they swung and sliced at their enemies, allowing their ashes to fall to the ground around them.
Their touch, so deadly to the terrifying monsters yet so gentle with him, sending shivers up his spine as they handle his wounds with such care.
They give him a warm meal and let him spend the night, but even when the fighter falls asleep themselves, Link can’t seem to close his eyes, not wanting to pry his gaze off of them for a second.
After that night, they agree to help train him. They correct his stance, point out all the flaws he makes when he swings his sword, show him how to properly aim his bow, help him tame his own horse, all things of that sort. And as they spend more time together, their bond grows.
Although the fighter views their relationship as purely platonic and believes the knight to only be a friend, Link sees their relationship very differently.
As Link learns more and more, his skills improve, and he eventually surpasses his teacher. Obviously, they’re proud of him. He’s able to fight more battles with them instead of just the occasional Bokoblin camp.
To Link, however, this means that they no longer need to fight such dangerous battles. Why bother going up against deadly foes when he can take care of them himself? Why not just let him take care of them?
His idea is further amplified when the warrior gets hurt.
Link makes quick work of the beast who dare hurt them, and immediately rushes them home. He carries them in bridal style and places them on the bed. He scurries about, gathering all of the needed materials to treat their injuries.
Even though the warrior tries to make light of the situation by joking about how the tables have turned, it does little to ease the knight’s mind.
Although Link does hate seeing them in an injured state, on the other hand, it gives him the chance to take care of them in return. To pay them back for the kindness they showed him when the two of them first met. To show them how good of a provider he can be for them.
When they eventually recover, they’re excited to continue their usual adventuring. However, Link blocks their path before they can even reach the door, claiming that they still need to rest.
They reassure him they’re fine, yet Link is insistent that they go back to bed. As the warrior tries to walk around them, Link grabs their wrist, a possessive glint in his eyes.
“You aren’t going anywhere.”
The warrior can try to resist him all they like, but he’s grown very strong over the past few months. They both know that he’s long surpassed his teacher, and Link plans on using those skills to provide them with a safe and cozy life, even if he has to force them into it.
They were his hero. Now, it’s his turn to be theirs.

Which BotW character do you think would be the most likely to be a yandere?
That's a hard one! I like to picture Prince Sidon is an easy pick, but Revali and Urbosa both have qualities that make me think they'd be on that list too.
Link has a great chance of being one since he was practically born to be a protector, and Ganon I can see being a possessive yandere who will keep you at an arms length at all times.
IDK It's a hard pick!

Champions x innocent!Reader (BOTW)
A/N: Hello, Ive been having a bit of a tough week so this is super self-indulgent.
Content warnings: Yandere Themes.
BOTW Yandere!Champions x Innocent!Reader
Link
Bruh, this man is so protective of you. This world is super fucked up. He knows it, but do you?
Keeps tabs on you. Like how he always manages to follow Zelda around? Yeah that.
You're his comfort person. He refuses to let you go.
He will pay for everything for you. Clothing, food, accommodations. You shouldn't strain yourself.
Will ask you to stay with someone he trusts like Sidon, Riju, or Impa. Will drag you there if you are defiant.
He cant keep you from seeing all the bad things going around because he is the hero after all, but goddamn does he try his best.
Does not like it when you see him all bloodied and beaten, so he will clean himself up all nice and proper for you.
Expects the same from you since he gets you all you need.
Urbosa
She is a well respected chief of Gerudo. People listen to her. She knows where you are all the time.
She doesn't want you to be jaded because of all thats happening around you.
Tries so hard to protect you from the outside world. So leaving the town? Only during the day with the best warriors, if she isn't able to do so herself.
At night, if you really insist on going outside the town, she will be with you 100 percent.
Will make sure you're well taken care of from the tip of your head to the bottom of your feet.
Gives you free access to a lot of the town accommodations but doesn't like it when you touch any weapons, or go into the tavern to get a drink. Alcohol is not good for the body and mind.
At night, she loves to have you close. It's when she can relax a bit more as chief, so she indulges herself in your presence.
Mipha
She is so sweet, it's hard not to say yes to this lady. She also has a really good read on you so don't try to lie to her or anything like that.
Will dress you up in all her finest clothing and jewels. She wants you to look presentable, since you are her significant other.
She does your hair all the time. Zoras don't have hair so she is so invested in yours.
Always takes baths with you. It's such an intimate and vulnerable time, she uses this time to know you even better.
You cant tell me she doesn't think about having a domestic life you. Can't change my mind. She loves waking up next to you, drinking tea in the morning together, having cute dates together.
She is such a romantic, it's almost too sweet.
She'll allow you out of the domain, but if you so much as touch a body water when she's not around, she will be so upset. She's scared that you'll drown without her.
Revali
If you are not in this birds wings, you are in the village.
Your personal guard. The rito in the village better know how to treat you right or they will face some serious consequences.
Believes you're the only one good enough for him, and vice versa. He makes this known too! Everyone knows about your relationship. I mean why not? if anyone hurts you, he's there, if they can even hurt you of course.
Ironically, Revali is one of the softest champions in this senario, despite his front. This is mostly behind closed doors though.
Will only allow you to walk to the base of Rito Village. To be fair, you do have full access and accommodations in the village.
In the rare moments that you're allowed to leave the village is when its a special event with him. Like an anniversary date.
Makes your shared house super cozy for you. You're so close to the cold climate, he wants you well taken care of there.
If you find anything that reminds you of him, give it to him and he will never let it go. If anyone touches the gifts you've given to him, the person will have lost some feathers, unfortunately.
Daruk
Strait up moves out of death mountain for you if he can, sort of. I mean he still needs to take care of his people.
If he can, he will get you all the fire-proof elixers he can get his hands on, on top of the fire-proof armour to hopefully allow you to stay by death mountain with him.

My dearest soulmate
So some people wanted a Ganondorf version of my Calamity!reader so I'm finally writing it, enjoy.
An old proverb. Oral legend passed down through the Gerudo families for centuries. Their king, who is only born every century, and his fated love. Many reject this as the truth. Their desire for the king to be free to conquer Hyrule is so strong that they hide the legend. One slip up is all it took for all that work to come undone.
"What did you say?" The King's voice boomed, demanding and harsh.
The servant quivered in fear as her friend stepped forward to explain.
"We were just speaking about an old story we heard from our mothers as children my king. Our apologies for angering you."
"What story? The beginning was similar to an old legend I have read about, this may be the end of what I desire to learn!" He grins, staring down at them.
The shortest woman gulped and began to recite the story as she remembered it,
"Once every 100 years, a king will be born into the Gerudo royal family. He shall bring forth an era of change and power to the Gerudo people. This legendary king will fall victim to a knight chosen by the Sword that seals the darkness. A cycle of pain that can only be broken through union of the king and the Lady of Calamity."
"Lady of Calamity? I haven't yet heard this part of my legend." "Yes... this has been ignored as the Gerudo people of the past could never find her and assumed she didn't exist."
"Well, if she is what I require to win, than we shall find her. Prepare the army, we do not sleep until that woman is found!" The King yelled, walking off to arm himself.
---POV CHANGE---
It was a normal day for the young elven woman. The dark bubbling malice followed her feet padding along the grass through the forest. Her home. She had no choice but to hide from the village people she once regarded as family who exiled her once her powers had emerged. An ancient legend caused her to be thrown to the wolves by her former friends, although it did mean she would avoid execution. Words uttered by Hylians of old had doomed her to a life of solitary suffering unless she succumbed to the fate the world had set for her. But, she would never. Why in the world would she throw herself into the arms of pure and utter evil. Ganondorf. Her soulmate.
Although she had never met him, obviously, the tales of the crimes he had committed against her kind made her fear the man. She herself knew she was far from weak, the malice that follows her beck and call protects her well enough. Yet, she was apparently, his win condition for his atrocities. Just because her people betrayed her, doesn't mean she will betray them.
A dense unsettling air settled over the forest. Y/N felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up as she glanced around the trees cautiously. An arrow whizzed by her face and she jumped back, falling down as a heavy foot was brought down on her chest.
"Stay down Hylian!" The Gerudo woman commanded. "We look for the Lady of Calamity, have you heard that name? Many say she's as tall as us Gerudo and as strong as a Lynel."
Y/N felt her breath catch in her throat. Perhaps she could hide who she was by lying and going along with the rumors they had heard. Yes, that's a great way to escape!
"Ah, yes! She resides in a nearby village. She protects them from monster attacks." She said hurried in a soft voice.
The Gerudo woman nodded and removed her foot from Y/N's chest. She sat up and held the aching ribs, the pain soon dissipating from fear. An intense wave of nausea overcame her as a strange smell filled her nose. The hot desert sand, Warm Saffina oil and a faint dizzying musk. Her vision shook as she lent down, wiping sweat from her brow.
On the other side of the thick treeline the Gerudo King was having a similar struggle. His head became clouded with the strange pounding of his heart, echoing through his body. The fresh scent of the forest was pierced by a sinful sweet smell. Every step he took, following the scent made him feel as if he was going to collapse. His warriors followed him as he made his way past the trees, staring directly at the meek woman on the floor.
"Lord Ganondorf, are you alright?"
"Stay away," The woman groaned. "I haven't fought for so long to lose to you now, you beast."
"Do not speak to the King like that," One of the warriors yelled, but was silenced as Ganondorf chuckled.
"Look at me woman, where is she?"
"where is who? I do not know the woman you seek! Leave me be!" She growls, ripping at the grass beneath her hands to stay calm.
Ganondorf just chuckles darkly, standing over the woman.
"I know she is here, my wife, my queen to be. Now where does she hide?"
"Nowhere! I live alone in these woods, I do not know the woman you seek. I have never seen a single woman around these parts as tall as any of you!" She declared in rush.
"You're lying, I can sense her!" The King yelled yanking her up by her arm to finally look at him.
The moments their eyes locked he could feel himself fall apart. Her lashes shielded most of her eyes from his gaze, yet the iris' he could see filled him with a strange sensation. Y/N felt her knees buckle and immediately fall apart as he grabbed her, a dull heat drumming where he had made contact, as well as forming deep knots in her abdomen. Her lips parted as she panted, a strange heat settling over the two despite the chill winds in the forest. Ganondorf felt his body begin to hunger for the small woman, noticing the malice prepared to catch her should he drop her. Although, he didn't plan to. Lust. That described the immense, powerful sensation that was taking over his mind. An unstoppable, violent desire to part her thighs and control her small form. His people would worship her, similar to how he already did. She stared up at him in fear, his mind still caught in a trance.
"Ganondorf?" She muttered, worried he would kill her then and there.
The small whimpers just inspired more sinful desires. For her to scream his name into the cold desert nights to consummate their marriage, only his body heat to warm her small, fragile form. Months later for her to have the Gerudo guards at her beck and call as she relaxed in their bed, plump with his young. Years later small red-headed children running around her legs as she carried their youngest child, greeting him back from a battle. Yes, it was all perfect. He would conquer Hyrule for her. For his wife.
I hope you sinners enjoyed that, I know I did. I'm gonna tag those who I saw asking for it so they get notifs. If you like this then go check out my other pieces of writing! Thanks and bye!
