So about 2 years ago I got three prompts from @gaiahenshin and I fully planned on writing the three of them and go midway through the second one and then life happened
But like i said, i do want to get back into writing so i am finally sitting down to finish writing the halfway done stuff!
This is set in a star trek like!au I might eventually write more into where Ba Ye is an empath and Rishan is an android.
10. hiding their face in the other’s neck
Yatou is no stranger to people being rushed into her medbay. There has even been a few memorable -- in the worse way possible -- occasions when patients had been directly teleported to a bed.
It’s not exactly part of the routine here, but it’s not unexpected either. In fact, if more than a couple of weeks pass between these kind of incidents, she -- along with the rest of the medical staff -- will start growing wary and prepare for the worse. Something which inevitably turns out to be a good thing.
This is not one of those time. The last away mission was only four days ago and everyone on that team suffered from a very bad case of indigestion when they failed to remember one very important rule from basic training. In other words: don’t eat unknown fruits native to a newly-discovered planet, no matter how much they look like Earth’s plums. Yatou had been as disappointed in them as Fo Ye had been furious.
But they’re currently in route to their next destination without any specific mission on the way. It could be a confidential one of course, but, in deference to her rank as Chief Medical Officer, Fo Ye usually gives her the courtesy of implying she might want to be sure the medbay is fully stocked when he’s under that kind of orders.
So there really shouldn't be any reason for Lieutenant Zhang to be rushing through the medbay doors, holding an unconscious Ba Ye in his arms.
Expected or not however, Yatou is still a professional and she’s already done calibrating the bed sensors before Lieutenant Zhang is even done crossing the room.
“What happened?”
“He- he just collapsed.” The slight stutter is all Yatou needs to know just how worried Lieutenant Zhang must be right now. While it would be a complete lie to say the android cannot feel emotions she’s never known him to be anything but imperturbable in time of crisis.
She wishes she could reassure him that Ba Ye will be alright, but that’s a mistake she knows better than to make, especially without a diagnosis.
Lieutenant Zhang lowers Ba Ye into the empty bed, but when he tries to move away, Ba Ye’s groans in pain and his hands grip tightly at his clothes.
“Keep holding him Lieutenant,” she orders, making a split-second decision.
It might not be proper protocol, but whatever is happening to Ba Ye, it is next to impossible for it to affect an android. She would rather keep him comfortable as long as possible.
It’s not like it seems to be any hardship for Lieutenant Zhang anyway. By the looks of it, he would never let Ba Ye go if given the choice.
“Lie down with him for now, but leave me space to work.”
The sensors need a bit of quick recalibrating to take in Lieutenant Zhang into account too, but already, she can see Ba Ye seems to be running a high fever.
That’s too much of a generic symptoms for any number of potential illnesses, but she gets a hunch as to what it could be when, even unconscious, Ba Ye tries to avoid her touch when she takes a blood sample. That and how he turns into Lieutenant Zhang instead, hiding his face against his neck with pained whimpers.
Were it anyone else, she would have dismissed the idea at once, but she remembers Ba Ye’s attempts at describing his mental impression of the Lieutenant once, like he was a spot of tangible peace and quiet.
If his mental shields are down like she suspects, it’s no wonder that he would be seeking a deeper connection with him in order to drown out everything else assaulting his senses.
Even that doesn’t narrow things down however, but if she remembers the incubation time of the Krr’ll’t flu in empaths like Ba Ye correctly, it would correlate with their last stop at the space station about two weeks ago. She hadn’t heard of any outbreak at the time, but a delegation from Ba Ye’s home planet had also arrived at around the same time and she’s pretty sure Ba Ye had met up with them.
They could have been unwitting carriers as the virus was near undetectable until the first brutal symptom hit.
Unfortunately, there’s not much she can do until the blood analysis is done except to try and keep him comfortable. And Lieutenant seems to have it covered on that front.
“Hope you didn’t have anything important to attend to Lieutenant, because you’re stuck here for the foreseeable future.” An exaggeration if it does turn out to be the Krr’ll’t flu. The treatment for that is usually fast acting, at least where allowing empaths to rebuild their mental shields is concerned. But Yatou always prefers to play it safe in her estimates when she can.
Lieutenant Zhang looks slightly affronted and for a moment there, she thinks he’s going to protest the not-quite order. She couldn’t have been more wrong however.
“Nothing is more important than Ba Ye’s health.”

"I have to ask. Just what are you doing?"
"It's your birthday. You need a birthday cake."
"Am I still your doctor?"
"Of course!"
"And have I or have I not strictly forbidden you to spend more than half an hour at a time standing in the kitchen cooking?"
"Yes, but...."
"Do. Not. Yes. But. Me, young lady."
"A-Xing, I'm fifty-nine years old. I'll be sixty soon enough!"
"And I expect you to make it there and further. So what are you doing, making me a cake that obviously, obviously, took hours to bake and decorate?"
"I had help. Lots of help. I just told Er-ye what to do. Mostly."
"I didn't let her stand up longer than ten minutes, I promise you. You know I wouldn't."
A sigh. "Ouxiang...."
"You like it, don't you?"
Another sigh, a bit softer. More forgiving. "May I ask why The Little Prince?"
"You love the book. Your copy's all tattered from as many times as you've read it. And it has a fox!"
"...."
"Don't you like it?"
"I... I like it, Yatou-furen. I just... was very surprised."
"Oh good! I was worried. Here. Let's cut it. You should get the first slice."
As Er Yue Hong and his wife set to sharing out the bright blue sphere of Western inspired sugar, Yan Sanxing carefully doesn't mention why he reads The Little Prince so often and loves it so much.
They don't need to know that - for him - Yatou is the rose, delicate, pretty and in need of special care. The Little Prince, naturally, is Er Yue Hong, who one day will lose his rose and likely fade afterwards.
And he? He's the fox, tamed and loved and ultimately left behind with the wheat and the sunset and the memories that he would grieve for but never regret.
---
Part of the Doctor Yan Sanxing Fox!Shifter series, where Yan Sanxing survives and becomes a doctor so he can atone as much as possible for his sins. Yatou survives because of him, though she makes it damned difficult sometimes with her insistence on doing things that make his job harder.
Yet another trace of Liu Chang to colorize into a Doctor Yan Sanxing pic. Someday I'll have to make a template for the jaw tattoo, as well as work out how to draw the upper half. And someday I won't need to trace. But for now, here we are.

This is such a niche topic, but Arno Dorian being whisked to Full River Red's version of Song Dynasty China where he has to investigate the murder of a Jurchen diplomat.
He doesn't understand a single word of Chinese, but he really wants to help, especially since Zhang Da, the man accused of the Jurchen diplomat's death, is on death row and Arno is convinced that he's innocent.
It's the most frustrating case he's ever been on, considering that every suspect or witness immediately dies before giving a proper confession. "Full River Red"'s whacky, twisty mystery plot, where everyone just acts mildly inconvenienced when someone threatens their life. It fucks with Arno's mind and drives him up the wall, but he also loves the drama.
Tumblr media
After the billion plot twists in the end, he meets Tao Yatou, the small daughter of one of the suspects, who recites to him the historical "Full River Red" poem. He returns to his own timeline, and when he studies the history of Assassins, finds the poem written onto a piece of cherry wood by the Chinese Assassin Shao Jun.

Burst into Blossom - 1

Tumblr media
In a rash moment of her youth, Li Zhaoyun committed a terrible mistake that not even ten thousand reincarnations can fix. As a result, she was able to learn how tall the heavens and earth are as well as how many dangers there are in a lifetime.
The night is a period that always gives one a gloomy, ghastly feeling, making people unable to fully cherish its endless beauty. However, it is not the darkness that covers every organism under its black layers that makes people naturally avoid it but whatever happens behind the thick layer of fog.
On a certain night, countless footsteps rashly echoed into the chilly night sky, leaving swish swashing sounds behind in the dangerous bamboo forest. After hearing it, a woman hastily emerged from the bamboo grove, one hand holding a branch drenched in blood, the other, holding on to a small child.
This person’s expression was as white as snow, sweat drenching her entire body. Her raggy inner clothes were drenched in a sight of red blossoms, making her look exactly like a female demon who enjoys harming others. Just from the intense smell of blood and the form as rigid as ice is enough for people to acknowledge that their wounds are not light.
The child within her hold, hugs her sleeves tightly, “Niang*.”
*Niang (娘) - mother*
When the woman heard the calls of the child, she gently stroked her head, comforting her, “ Do not be afraid, niang is here.”
When the child heard this, the yatou* immediately shakes her head, hands tightening her hold of the sleeve, “ I am not scared. Is niang alright?”
*Yatou (丫头) - girl, can be use as a term of endearment or insult*
“ I am fine, we’re almost there, try to hold out for a bit more.”
The little yatou nods her head, arms wrapped tightly around the women’s neck. Her eyes stared intensely at the back like someone was going to jump out from the groves.
Even though the little yatou looked a bit pitiful, no one can dare lie about the perceptiveness of her eyes, a worldly contrast to her current appearance. With just a light glance, it is enough to know that she is not of a common background. To summarize, her eyes are like a tiger's, no prey would dare to act under nose unless they want to bring danger to their home.
Suddenly, another person came out of the grove. This time, it was of the appearance of an older man, dressed not as proper as the others but the clothes were still of lavish materials, hinting that he is from a large clan. Even if he is from such a clan, just by looking at the situation, one would understand his own nature.
Before the woman can react, an arrow shoots through the air towards her, hitting the woman's back. Having just witnessed that, the small child screamed out but got blocked by her niang’s hand over her mouth. The little child’s hands were covered in blood, clothes turning a dark crimson.
“ Where do you want to go, beauty? I have yet to be finished with you, even if you grow wings, you will never escape from me!”
The woman looked at the old man’s face, unable to resist a teasing smile from appearing on her lips, spitting out a disdainful comment. “ Yang Zhucheng, I can not believe you can lower yourself to this extent.”
When the old man heard the scornful comment, his facial expression darken. He originally wanted to bring the woman back to become his consort but changed his mind after the insult. “ Unruly woman! Let laozun* educate you in the stead of your zhangfu*!”
*Laozun (老尊) - old honorable, a term to address oneself in place of I*
*Zhangfu (丈夫) - husband*
Hearing his unbelievable words, the woman glared at him, “ Educate me? You have the capability?”
Taking in the woman’s words, Yang Zhucheng stroked his beard as he replied, “ Why do I not have any capability? What does your clan have that is worthy of the people’s worship? Maybe from following the demonic ways!”
Initially, the woman’s face was snow whitebut after hearing his words, her expression farken several tones. “ Stop talking! You do not have the right to speak ill of my clan!”
“ At least, Zhongjian Yangshi can return to the right path unl–”
Before the old man could finish, the woman was quick to interrupt him, “ Yang Zhucheng, you shameless person!”
“ Clearly a noble woman of great lineage, who’s fame reaches the end of the sky but does not know any better. You see, such a person should die with a non-intact body!”
Hearing those words from the old men, the yatou peaked up from behind her niang, pointing her finger towards him. “ You!”
The old man raises his eyebrows at the yatou’s yelling. His eyes brightened up with disgusting interest as he thought of a way to convince the beauty.
The old man approached them, staring intently at the child as a smile appear on his lips. In a blink, the distance between them shortened immensely. “ Or… I capture your child, command people to spread rumors about how Da Xiaojie* of Honglin Lishi has already followed the demonic ways to strengthen the reputation of her clan despite her young age. And after having enough fun and decided to run away. I’m afraid that this lifetime, the cold will not live peacefully!”
*Da Xiaojie (大小姐) - eldest lady*
As she heard that, the furen* bit her lips enough to draw blood. She hugged the child closer to her body, trying to cover the existence of the child away from the old man. “ Even a child can’t escape from you! You are dressed like an animal*”
*Furen (夫人) - term of address to a married woman*
*Dressed like an animal (衣冠禽兽) - an idiom, describing an immoral and despicable person.*
The child cowered in fear within her niang’s holds, shivering in fear. Her eyes brimmed with liquid yet to fall. “ Niang.”
Suddenly, the woman’s arms relax, no longer holding the child. Li furen stands up while looking at his sickening appearance. “ Li An, run.”
The child shakes her head, hugging her niang’s thigh. “ I’m not going. I’m not going.”
Yang Zhucheng smiles, “ Stupid yatou.”
Li furen pushed Li An away with all her might, eyes glaring at her, wanting her to follow her wishes. “ Gun*”
*Gun (滚) - Get lost, in a rude manner*
Hearing that, Li An can only look up at her, shakingly bringing herself to stand up.
“ Beauty, what do you want to do?”
Seeing the child standing up, Li furen turned back to face Zhu Yangcheng. “ If you want to bring me back, then die with me!” Li furen immediately rushed towards him.
Yang Zhucheng quickly stepped back to dodge, almost getting hit by the branch. After that, he aimed a punch at the bloody wound.
Li An panicked, letting out a scream, “ Niang!”
“ Why are you still here? Gun!”
The old man let out a long sigh, “ Unexpectedly, the infamous Li furen has this kind of ending.” He bent down, fingers petting Li furen’s jade-like face slowly moving towards her smooth black hair. Before he can go elsewhere, something hard yet round hit his head. “ Despicable yatou! Wait for me, beauty. Once I finish dealing with that yatou, I will come back for you.”
Upon hearing that, Li An panicked, body shaking to the extent of dropping the rock. She falls down to the ground miserably as her legs can no longer support her weight. “ Don’t come over here! Don’t come over! Don’t come over!”
Li furen shakingly extend out her hand, “ An…er*.”
*Er (儿) - by adding er behind the name, it becomes a term of endearment, especially for parents to call their kids*
Li An, at the moment, still could not stand up, eyes intensely staring at the possessed-like smile of Yang Zhucheng. “ Don’t come here! I said, don’t come here!”
Yang Zhucheng continues to approach her, lips curling into a horrendous smile, “ I want to see how capable the Da Xiaojie of Honglin Lishi is!”
“ Don’t come over! Don’t come over! AHhh!”
At that point, Li Zhaoyun’s eyes sprung open, body jumping out of bed. She immediately placed her hand over her chest, feeling her heartbeat. Once she had found it, she let out a long exhale before wiping the sweat on her forehead off. Although her entire body is sweating profusely, Li Zhaoyun felt as cold as ice.”
“ Another dream.”
From the age of six, Li Zhaoyun has been dreaming the same exact nightmare of an event she cannot remember. Just as she opens her eyes, her consciousness returning to reality, it was as if she did not just went through a night of being paralized in bed, unable to escape the illusion. Her memory of the nightmare would be forgotten, making her unable to remember anything. Even years later, she was still unable to remember what had happened.
Li Zhaoyun shakily pushed herself out of bed, legs barely able to support her body. Looking around her round, she realized that it was still dark, only being illuminated by a single candle, creating a hazy light. “It’s still choushi*.”
*Choushi (丑时) - two hours period between 1AM and 3 AM*
After changing her robes, Li Zhaoyun reached over the table to grab a long yet slim white fabric with spider lilies, the motif of Honglin Lishi sewn on them and tie it around her hair tightly. After putting on another layer, Li Zhaoyun step out of her room towards Huaji Tai.
Huaji Tai is the place for all of Honglin Lishi’s disciples to cultivate their sword play. Huaji talks about the use of youthful times to focus on cultivation, and not worry about the mortal world. Tai talks about the sword-fights between disciples to increase one’s potential.
Standing in front of the gate, Li Zhaoyun glanced at the sign and smiled. Although it is still dark, Huaji Tai has always calmly welcomed her.
Huaji Tai remains unchangeable four seasons, tirelessly watching over Honglin and Luohua Fort. Truly the only place that survived after the Yi Xian Battle.
She quietly stopped up the familiar steps and directly entered Huaji Tai.
A few years have passed yet this place remains the same.
Suddenly, Li Zhaoyun stopped in her tracks, looking at her surroundings.
Strange, why did I sense a commotion?
However, before Li Zhaoyun can lift up her feet, a servant has come in front of her. “ Li xiaojie, Li Zongzhu* wants to meet you.”
*Zongzhu (宗主) - head of clan*
Hearing that, Li Zhaoyun glanced at her, “ Gumu* wants to meet me?”
*Gumu (姑母) - father’s married sister*
“ Yes.”
“ Why is gumu calling me at this time?”
She continues to stare at the little yatou, making her entire body shiver. “ Nubi* don’t know.”
*Nubi (女婢) - maidservants or female slaves, can be use as a term of address instead of “I” when talking to a person of higher authority*
Li Zhaoyun closes her eyes before opening them, letting out a sigh. “ Good*, wait a bit for me.”
*Hao (好) - Good/ Fine/Alright, can be answered with a similar meaning to Yes, accepting the proposal*
*******
Upon another mountain, a game of go has been abandoned. The pieces, half has already been carefully positioned on the board while the rest has yet to appear, swayed along with the wind. Sitting on each side are two middle aged people who were intently staring at the board. The one who holds the white pieces is a woman, with jade-like skin, hair as dark as the night yet still made people admire her upon hearing her name. She wore a crimson robe.
“ Li Zongzhu, Da Xiaojie is waiting outside.”
Li Yanxia looked at the door and nodded, “ Let her come in.”
“ Yes,” the servant answered before quickly leaving the room.
“ These past two years have gone by in a blink of an eye. Guanyu, how do you think Yun-er is doing?” Li Yanxia looks at the person who’s facing towards the valley, looking at the scenery of Honglin.
“ I am not sure.”
“ Yun-er is the one and only daughter of you, Li Guanyu. How do you not know how she is doing?”
Before he can talk back, the servant reenters. “ Li Zongzhu, Li Da Xiaojie have arrived.”
“ Go.”
“ Yes.”
Before coming here, Li Zhaoyun returned to her room to change into a more proper robe. She stepped into the room before making a bow. “ Li An greets gumu, fuqin*”
*Fuqin (父亲) - father*
Li Yanxia smiled, coming to help her stand up. “ In the two years we haven’t met, Yun-er has matured.” Li Guanyu nods his head, slowly approaching Li Yanxia and Li Zhaoyun. “ Li An thank gumu,” Li Zhaoyun answered before looking in the direction of Li Guanyu. “ Li An greets fuqin.”
Like the last time, Li Guanyu did not answer.
Seeing that, Li Yanxia closed her eyes, letting out a long sigh. “ I won’t interfere with your own matters but today I have called the both of you about political matters, not reconnecting the both of you.”
Recognizing the tense atmosphere, Li Zhaoyun asked, “ Gumu, what have you called Li An today for?”
Back to the topic, Li Yanxia answered, “ Have you ever heard of Qinghe Nieshi?”
Li Zhaoyun furrows her eyebrow, Qinghe Nieshi? Why does this name sound familiar?
While thinking, she mindlessly asked. “ Gumu, are you talking about the central continent’s Qinghe Nieshi?”
Li Yanxia nods her head, “ Yes, the head of Qinghe Nieshi will be visiting Honglin.”
Visiting Honglin? Honglin Lishi, over the years, has not made any contact with those in the central continent so why is this happening?
“ The reason you have called Li An is also related to this matter?”
While Li Yanxia nodded her head, Li Guanyu glanced at her with an unreadable expression.
After hearing it, Li Zhaoyun can’t restrain herself, mindlessly standing there. What do you want Li An to do? “ Gumu, why do the people of Qinghe Nieshi want to come visit Honglin?”
Li Yanxia does not answer, suddenly glance over to look at Li Guanyu. Noticing something out of the ordinary, Li Zhaoyun continues to stare at the two seniors, trying to find any clues. “ Our Honglin Lishi has long not enter the political scene, especially of the central continent’s. However, currently… such a ch–”
Unable to finish, she flinched at Li Guanyu’s glance, putting her head down, not daring to continue speaking. Even though he is also wearing the crimson robes of Honglin Lishi, she feels coldness seeping to her core at his stare.
Seeing Li Zhaoyun’s change in posture, Li Yanxia could only shake her head and continue, “ Yun-er, do you still remember the reason why I let you leave?”
She immediately nods as Li Yanxia changes the topic, “ Yes. Gumu wants Li An to observe the changes outside of Honglin.”
Li Yanxia smiles, “ And…”
Li Zhaoyun glanced up, looking into Li Yanxia’s eyes and gently answered, “ You want Li An…”

DMBJ Rare Pair Exchange Reveals (1)
Discussed roughly in order of the writing.
“Three Meals With Mr Wu”
This was for the person I matched with, Hils, who wanted among other things: “Pangzi introduces Piaopiao to his other partner(s) and they figure out how to make it work”
And I… didn’t entirely put as much Pangzi in there as I’d intended, but I hope Hils had fun.
One of the things I like about the Daomu Biji novels, and many of the visual adaptations (a lot of the movies are pretty lean), is that they’re carrier-bag stories that persistently drag “ordinary” people, with their preoccupations and fears and loves, right through the adventure shenanigans and Cosmic, and the stories remind us that these preoccupations and fears and loves matter right alongside the protagonist’s worries. Piaopiao is one of those people. But also, her story in the back half of Reboot s1 parallels Wu Xie and Pangzi pretty strongly - she’s exploring the dangerous world of illegal antiquing even as Wu Xie explores Warehouse 11; she’s grappling with the oncoming death of a loved one even as Pangzi is. So… when I started writing her interacting with Wu Xie, I wanted to explore points of commonality.
The introduction to the Sand Sea novels is from the POV of a third-party writer who made friends with ‘Guan Gen the Photographer’ (Wu Xie’s alias) at a mixer, largely because they’d both experienced tragedies in their lives and could relate, which evolved into sending packets of cakes to each other for a while until he Disappears Mysteriously. It seemed a reasonable thing to borrow for Piaopiao, who has also had a life of trouble. There was also another prompt in the collection, about Wu Xie and Piaopiao meeting on an arranged date, all of which boiled into a scenario of Wu Xie Finds A Fake Girlfriend So His Parents Won’t Worry About His Loveless Existence.
It was definitely interesting how much Wu Xie put into appearances, during that first meeting, and how much Piaopiao wasnt looking at his face but at the visual code of his clothing. And how polite and extremely frank they could be, and at her perception of the bleak wasteland one saw just as soon as one looked properly at his eyes.
I think my favourite scene was in Xue Wu’s house, as they eat together while Pangzi sleeps, and slip right back into Extremely Frank.
“[I meant tell me] something true about you.”
After a pause, Mr Wu says, “My grandfather named me Wu Xie.”
Piaopiao stares at him.
“I’m sorry,” he adds. “I’ve had a complicated life.”
And also, at the end of that scene. Because Piaopiao is friendly but not so close that his grief will cause her pain, Wu Xie just… stumbles into a bit of a breakdown. And she sits with him and offers a handkerchief and is just quietly there and won’t blab to Pangzi that Wu Xie might, god forbid, be a little bit sad about his impending death. Ai.
The I-Ching epigrams came quite late in the writing process. I described Yatou’s eyes as ‘deep as a lake under the mountains’ then wondered what that hexagram might mean. And it worked pretty well: Decrease, which is about gain and loss and the balance between people. And since I knew from the first that Piaopiao was still going to get into an accident, just not a lethal one… at some point Pangzi was going to have to choose which loved one he left to fend for themself. Who gets deprived? Can they balance things so that their increase does not decrease others? (Answer: yes, because Wushanju is a polycule, thank you for coming to my TED Talk.)
“Morning, Evening”
So this was written as a Treat and I was almost ready to post it when I realised I was impinging on a DNW but didn’t want to change that part of the plot so in the end I had no chill and posted it as a general fic and then it turned out the potential giftee, mekare, liked it anyway. So it all worked out in the end! Hmmm, I wonder if @merinnan would let me tuck it into the Collection?
Anyway. Giftee wanted Piaopiao retiring with the Iron Triangle to Rain Village, with domesticity and fluff, and possibly evolving their relationship to include a new person. In the end I went with some short scenes throughout the day, with the people in ones and twos, coming together near the end for dinner. Because people can do their own thing and still be part of a family, yeah?
So two things that come up in the Rain Village era of the novels is that a) Xiaoge often just knows when someone is about to die of old age or sickness and will sit with them, talk with them, work to honour their last wish etc. and b) Wu Xie has acquired a Special Interest in ecology, which naturally led into Xiaoge helping a v. old lady up a mountain to fly a brilliant red kite one more time before she goes, while Wu Xie replants a deforested slope with Xiao-Mei - while also speculating on when they can get fish from the stream they’re cleaning while also telling a funny story and meditating on the nature of Wanting Things, because if I ever write Wu Xie only thinking about One Thing at One Time, I will have lost touch with canon. And I dunno - it just seemed really important to have scenes that touched on the cycle of life and death.
(Xiao-Mei and Wu Xie are spending a lot of time together because her mum and Pangzi are doing that lovey-dovey honeymoon stuff right now and Xiao-Mei and Wu Xie are Not Monsters.)
I wanted something a little funny for Pangzi - but also that little shock when he realises he’s in his happy ending(!!!). And Piaopiao quietly getting used to the idea that other people have her back right now, while also living the glamorous life of a Notorious Woman(™). And, of course, Pangzi and Piaopiao slow-dancing to an old record while other people do the cooking scutwork seems like Relationship Goals to me. May they continue to slow dance for many years to come.

Watching Love And Redemption after Word of Honor and all those DMBJ adaptations is so funny because the cast is just
TLT2 Xiaoge with slightly more emotions
Yatou but completely unrecognisable
girl who looks like Gong Jun's twin sister
evil Ye Baiyi
TLT2 Xie Yuchen but he's a pain in the ass
TLT2.5 Wu Xie as a snake god who hisses at people and only cares about food and fighting
TLT2 Wu Sanxing as a merman
cute little Dou Cheng from the epic gay flashback in TLT2 as Cheng Yi's experienced, mischievous "older brother" (in the martial sense) and accomplice, who also has a teenaged daughter???
Chen Pi Ah Si is there
Yang Wuxie from Heroes is also there
several more familiar actors will briefly appear
who isn't on this show, really

WIP Tag Game
Uhhh well I feel like I lack WIPS because I tend to write an entire fic in one setting, and edit it as well. I also delete wips a lot because I get upset at the lack of my writing skills.
1: Foba angst. The intention was Ba Ye falling apart after Fo Ye can not remember him at that random village. And then have it being multiple chapters, so after the Zhang tomb, he remember qtz, but qtz still feels horrible because he gave so much to fo ye but in the end he felt like none of it mattered. and then maybe some like crying smut. like idk fo ye realizes how much he still loves ba ye and idk.
2: Another Foba. They think they are being slick with their relationship and nobody knows about it. Until Er Ye invites them to his wedding with Yatou, and the invite is addressed to both of them so they realize they need to hard launch their relationship within changsha and the M9 people at er yes wedding
3: A winter begonia fic. this was pure smut. threesome between Fan Lian, Du Luocheng and Xue Qianshen
4: a foba fic. uhhh it was xinyue walking into foyes sex dungeon where ba ye is tied up on a table. please do not ask.
I have an ongoing fic for heihua but it was doing poorly after i uploaded a new chapter so i might stop. it also had some fuba. I am taking a break from fics though since they are doing..not that well on archive atm. one day i will go back to writing them and actually enjoying that people enjoy them *sigh*
OH i also have an ongoing Fuba/Foba fic but uh...idk. i feel like it started off strong and now is so lackluster. I have debated just posting a chapter saying im not longer updating this fic. I am just upset with how it turned out.
ah idk who else wants to do it. im quite poor with reading my friends fanfics (i admit its a fault but i compare myself to everyone so its not good for my declining mental health). Oh @s1utspeare for you. Since you wanted to be tagged lmaooo

Domestic Disaster to House Husband (DMBJ edition)
Inspired by another post that I can't find... UPDATE: My Partner In Crime founded it here!
10) Hei Yanjing: Eats his weight in green pepper & beef fried rice. Scatters crumbs of whatever he happens to be eating all over the place. Muddy footprints whenever he comes home (which is invariably at least one hour past midnight and usually three). Crawls into bed with you stark naked, unshowered, and sticks his jangly bits in your face.
(continues below the cut)
9) Mop: Whiney. Constantly falling into trouble and needing rescued because he Will Not Read The Contract. More than a bit clingy. Doesn't bathe often, mostly because he's so broke he's always out working. Will gladly pay for supper so you don't eat him.
8) Chen Ping: On the plus side he takes better care of things around the house. On the negative, he tends to kill people who annoy him. Will spend most of his time trying to find Yatou if she's still alive or threatening Fo Ye if she isn't. Finds trouble without needing to look for it. Brings carryout home most of the time.
7) Yan Sanxing: Tends to run around the house at top speed. Good at chasing down vermin, as long as you make sure he knows what your definition of vermin is. Do not leave him any openings for doing what he prefers to do. Sings Chinese opera at odd hours. (This last could be a positive or negative, depending on your opinion of Chinese opera). Sits on the roof a lot, doing That Thing with his eyes when he thinks about Er Yue Hong.
6) Wang Can: This one will eat you out of house and home if you leave any food out where he can take it. On the other hand, he's loyal to a fault and maintains military discipline. If he considers you family he'll protect you and yours. If not, don't expect much. Occasionally does That Thing with the eyes, but don't expect it frequently.
5) Huo Daofu: Bitchy. A good doctor and a capable manager, also a good cook. Will take care of things at home but protests doing anything if it has to do with Wu Xie. Sulks a lot, especially when he feels he's not getting the credit he's (arguably) earned.
4) Liu Sang: Bitchy. Competent. Snarky. These aren't necessarily bad traits except when he gets annoyed with you. Can hear trouble coming 200 meters away but often ends up in the thick of it despite himself. Neat, but socially inept, if he decides to give you his loyalty will literally cripple or kill himself to prove it. Important note: If he does That Thing with his eyes you'll be lost.
3) Wu Xie: Oh Gods the trouble this one falls into. Is mostly neat when he's at home but never expect him to pay even one bill. Most of your money will be coming in from under the table and he'll leave it to someone else to handle paying off any help. Good company, if you don't mind frequent discussions of architecture and constant mooning over Xiaoge. NOTE: If you are Xiaoge, expect to spend most all of your time protecting him from his latest adventure.
2) Xiaoge: Easiest of house-househusbands because he's fairly low maintenance. In part that's because he's almost never home, so if you get lonely you're going to have to go stir up trouble. He will show up at the last moment when everything looks like it's over. Excellent at forgetting arguments you had, but this is because he's forgotten everything. If you're Wu Xie you're absolutely at the top of his list for protectees.
1) Wang Pangzi: Cooks. Cleans. Takes care of any injured thing that happens to stumble into the house. This is usually accompanied by grumbles and snark but he never fails to make sure everyone is properly fed and cared for. If you've chosen a polycule relationship including any of the others, especially 2-4, expect arguments - especially with #4. Never the less, he'll be there for you when you need him. Comes with Best Girl Xiao Mei.

¿PESPUT? Capítulo 345 - Numero Uno VIII
Tumblr media
‘Me gustas.’ Regañaron a Giddens Ko, regañaron a Chai Zhiping e incluso regañaron a Ke Jingteng. “¡Me gustas!” ‘¡Me gustas!’ ‘Lo sé. Tú también me gustas.’ Luego, con una sonrisa, pasó el resto de su juventud, esperando innumerables veces. Pero fue sólo un sueño. Nameless: Ahora si mi corazón se rompió. ¡¡¡Esos amores de juventud!!! Me duele el corazón. Nos quedamos aquí, nos vemos la próxima sermana. Atrás Novelas Menú Siguiente Read the full article
