Another meme, this time for my Villain OCs!
Black Menagerie, Kudzu, and Forever Princess are part of Jo's Rogue's Gallery because I wanted her to have her own villains without relying too much on canon.
Black Menagerie has an obsession with beauty and turns victims into glass to "preserve" their beauty. Jo is his common target and worse, he's immune to her powers as glass doesn't have a natural decomposition. She also can't shatter him through normal means.
Kudzu is an eco-terrorist who is pretty much like Optimus Primal from Beast Machines: preachy, self righteous and deluded into thinking that technology is wholly bad and that everything nature is wholly good. Seriously I hate how they wrote Primal in that show; like even after he had his realization he was still very extreme till the end. So that's basically what Kudzu is if BM!Primal was written into what he really was: a villain! But enough venting. Kudzu has the literal opposite of Jo's powers.
The Forever Princess is a high ranking member of the Forever Knights. Ironically she is very nice and affable, but is very power-hungry and will do anything to secure that power. She's also manipulates people into serving her by using sweet-talk and playing innocent. An added twist is that she goes after alien artifacts and Earth magic, making her a threat to both communities.
Connie Irving grew up in a similar working class environment to Malina and Robin, but achieved her wealth by associating herself with the criminal underground. To hide her agenda she doesn't flaunt around her wealth, presenting herself as a fake superhero in order to win favors from the middle and lower classes of Detroit. She doesn't forget her working class roots however and hired people to be her henchmen, which makes it hard for Malina to fight as some of them are people she knew growing up.
Blood Diamond (real name Crystal Ann) is a beauty entrepreneur who uses everything beautiful to commit crimes, as well as being a smuggler of things such as gemstones, exotic animals, and sensitive information. A common feature of her character is that she has diamond hard skin, a result of a special skin cream that she uses to amplify her invulnerability and strength. So yeah, she's based on Sharon Stone's character from the 2004 Catwoman movie, but given a lot more depth and motivation and uses the concept of "Evil Cosmetic Diva" much better.
Yoni and Yurei are Odie's personal enemies in my Ninjago fanseason, For the Love of Ninja. While Yoni is cunning and has an insatiable lust for power like Roodaka, Yuri is stony, quiet, and seeks to relieve Ninjago of its problems by brainwashing everyone so that they do good deeds. They directly oppose the Ninja, and prove to be far more experienced foil to the rookie ninja Odie.
Finally, we get to Magmarock, who is Danny Phantom monstersona and a henchman for another villain. He's basically a walking Lava monster who was tricked into believing that his powers can only be used for destruction, but he was already pretty chaotic anyways. His name is a pun on Ragnarok so he speaks like a Norse God.

Sketch of my OC villain Yoni, or the Talon Ninja and one of the major antagonists of my fanseason. She's the hellish sister of my other Villain OC Yurei, a current candidate for the emperor's throne post SOG.
In the world of Ninjago, not every ninja is a good guy and Yoni is definite proof of that. The chaos to her brother's order, she scours the land in search of worthy opponents, eventually deciding to challenge the ninja and their hapless new recruit Odie.
Like Odie she grew up poor but having seen the chaos in Ninjago she decided that it would be best to join in with the crowd, so to speak. As a ninja she breaks into homes of the wealthy and steal their items and launches night raids on mines, hoarding all of her belongings inside a secret cave. Though deeply selfish she does care about her brother and vows to help him reach his goal of controlling Ninjago, even sacrificing a bit of her personal freedom to do so. Because the way she sees it, if her sibling's in charge then she will be free to do whatever she wants.
I haven't drawn her ninja suit but she would wear dark blue and brown gi to blend in with her surroundings. As for her powers she doesn't have any but is a brutal martial artist and gymnast armed with long toxic nails or metal claws called the Tekko-Kagi.

OC Revamp
After looking over past bios and sketches of my Ninjago FCs I decided to give them a full makeover. This way I'll have a clear picture on how they will fit the lore of the show and movies.
- Robin and Odette are no longer biological sisters but rather a duo who grew close during their stay at an orphanage. They were separated when Odette was adopted by her biological mother's step sister. This makes the plot point of their separation make a lot more sense as well as going with the theme of found family.
- Yoni and Yurei are morally grey and not obnoxiously evil but at the same time not sugary good. Their mindset is based on survival (Yurei) and trying to enjoy life not being tied down (Yoni). They live in Stixx.
- Odette suffers from selective mutism and only speaks to people that she truly trusts. She also has a speech impediment.
- Odette also has a more reserved, stubborn, and aloof personality, which will lessen more as she learns to be more open with others.
- She and Lloyd will still be a couple but i!I'm trying not to drag out the "Will They or Won't They" aspect
- Tsuki Onna will also be a more sympathetic villain to go in line with the morally grey themes
- The actual big bad will be a secret character and decidedly NOT sympathetic
- There's a recurring subplot where the now older Robin attempts to rehabilitate villains
- Another subplot is Skylor discovering her maternal family, bringing in my OC Jetta.
- The name of my fanseason will either be For the Love of Ninja, Mystery of the Moon, or The Forbidden Tides. I'm thinking about making Nya a major player as Odette's new mentor
- I'm still working on the motifs

If my OCs were from the CW
Jora's only storyline is about awful she feels being fat and geeky or her love of fashion would automatically make her vain and too girly. Also she and Ben would date for a like a month before breaking up and Jo ends up moving away never to be seen or referenced again despite being popular with the fans. Or, she doesn't leave the show, her entire character would have to change in order to make her seem more desirable, taking away everything that made her a good character. Also she wouldn't be too fat.
Jetta, Lady Lei, and Yurei's asexuality/Aromantic would be erased. Jetta would be forced to be Cole's love interest, Lady Lei would marry Sensei Wu, and Yurei would have a gross attraction to his own sister. Because in order to make him even more evil you throw in incest subtext.
Women over the age of 55 don't exist, so Lei would be played by an actress fresh out of college.
Niya's sole trait is that she's a Muslim. Also a magical terrorist.
Patti would be a complete villain even if some of the points she makes actually puts her in the right or given a sympathetic light.
Yoni would be a lesbian. An EVIL lesbian.
Aeric's androgyny would be played entirely for drama, entirely for jokes, or ignored.
Barb's romance with Vert takes up the entire plot with no development for both sides; also Barb would be played by a biracial actress with lighter skin, almost white.
Noelani would wear some of the sluttiest outfits that would make Rouge and even Fiona Fox question why the hell she would walk around in booty shorts and a bra? Also she's much more stronger than Knuckles, smarter than Tails and Eggman combined, and faster than Sonic the Hedgehog himself. Don't forget the love triangle where she either had to pick Sonic or Shadow!
The Autobots would spend whole episodes as holoforms not only to save on budget, but also to make the mech/human romances seem less weird, even though it defeats the intention of being an allegory of interracial relationships. Also Malina's only personality is that she's smart; Nicole would be the damsel in distress although the narrative tells us that she's a competent cop. Robin would not exist because hello - she's fat!
We need to kill off a character to increase someone's man pain! What about Ginger? Or Winifred? Hell we can kill off ALL the women!!!!
