It is an anime series of 1 season and 13 episodes. It made me fall in love with anime again and will forever have a place in my heart.

If you are interested you can watch it on Crunchyroll. Don't know if they have english subtitles, though. 🤷

What is it about?

Mari Tamaki has this urge to do something crazy in her teen years, because that's what they do. They hop into a train without knowing where it goes and live adventures! But something is stopping her...

Then, she meets Shirase Kobuchizawa, a girl who wants to go to the Antarctica. Absolutely marvelled by this, Mari decides to join her in her adventure.

Reasons I liked it!

Do you know that feeling? You know, the emotion of going on a adventure. The thrill of new discoveries... of knowing that you don't know nothing... that there is so much to learn still... to discover... This is what this anime is really about. I have completely forgotten about this and it was so liberating knowing that there are still discoveries to uncover!

I loved the characters. The girls felt so real to me!! I bonded with them almost instantly.

They actually have a proper plan to go to the Antarctica... Like, wow!! I can't believe they are telling me the plan with the politic and economic implications and I am NOT bored. I'm engaged!!! I couldn't believe it. I've even learnt a few things!
