His large, smooth hands glided across her warm skin with ease. Following every curvature and caressing her closely. Her flesh was dappled with small imperfections, beauty marks here, scars there. It was well traveled as she liked to call it. Though as his fingers trailed across each scar, one in particular caught his attention. “How’d you get this scar?” He asked as his thumb traced it once more.
Zeehva looked over her shoulder, trying to get a glimpse of the jagged scar on her back thigh. Breathing out a soft laugh as she relaxed down onto her arms, lazing about like a cat while he rubbed at her muscles. “Father and I.. We were retrieving our goods from a pretty big bust. Real valuable stuff ya’ know. Couldn’t believe we found it honestly. But of course, we weren’t the only ones sniffing for that treasure.. Some other relic hunters came along as we were heading back to the caravan. We usually try to be honorable, if someone finds the goods first, we’d usually just back off and go to our next lead. Of course, not these folks. They intended to steal the treasure. But they didn’t stand a chance against Mistah Belrose..” She laughed, her voice emphasizing her fathers nickname in a deep baritone.
“That was until they got their hands on me.” Her lips pursed, turning into a slight frown as she recalled the memory. “He let them take it all once they stabbed me. I wasn’t strong enough to break free or anything. He put his dagger in my thigh and dragged it down until my father promised to let them have the goods. I couldn’t help but scream. It felt like he had lit my leg on fire. I’m used to being hurt from falling and what not but that was.. that was something else.” She ran a hand through her dark raven locks, ruffling her hair some. “I never did forgive him for giving in to their demands, even if my life was at risk. After that was when I started learning combat though. I wasn’t going to let others use me against my father. He didn’t have a choice to take me on the road with him, and I was a weakness. We knew that, but it was that moment in particular that truly opened my eyes to just how big a weakness I was. We’d never survive if all anyone had to do is make me their punching bag in order to get what they want from us..”
She rolled over, head propped up on her hand as she looked at Ikhaara. “And I’ve never been a punching bag since..” She smiled warmly, though her gaze squinted as she thought briefly to herself, “Well.. For the most part anyway. The spear only scares off so many..”

"Look! Look! Oh my stars, I don't think I've ever dug something out so big! IKHAARA HURRY!" Zeehvas rushed words echoed through the cavern. Her excitement was palpable. Those ocean colored eyes were glittering with sparks of elation, and the Viera herself was practically bouncing around the partially uncovered treasure chest.
With a smirk on his lips, Ikhaara made his way back to Zeehva as he heard her yells bouncing off the caves walls. "I'm coming, I'm coming.." He said with a laugh followed by a shake of his head. He wasn't in a rush personally. Once he was there, he took the shovel in his hand and moved to start digging. Only to quickly have it snatched away by the hyper viera. "I got it!" Zeehva exclaimed as she started digging faster than anyone likely should be digging. "Slow down, you're going to hurt yourself then you won't be able to dig it out.." He warned, but was still smirking at the sight of how excited she was.
Minutes passed, to Ikhaara they felt longer, but for Zeehva they felt like seconds. Tossing her shovel to the side carelessly, she was quick to find the rather large lock on the front of the chest. Jiggling at it viciously before puffing her bottom lip out in a pout and tilting her head back to look up at the towering Au Ra that was Ikhaara, those ears drooping to add to her attempt at the puppy dog eyes. Running his fingers over his mouth, he soon gave in and with a laugh pushed himself from the wall he had been leaning against. "I'll go get the lock picks.." And off he went again, just as he had when he needed to get the shovel.
"Thank you!!!" Zeehva shouted at his back as she guarded the treasure like a feral hound. Today was their day to score the big find and she couldn't have been more excited to find out what resided inside..

The Viera crouches in the tree, finally looking down after reaching the top. Her gaze finds Ikhaara, who has made no successful attempts to climb the tree and instead is just staring up at his companion. "I'll take the long route." He says with a smile. "What's the matter big guy? That dragon blood hasn't taught you how to fly yet?" Zeehva teased, though his only response was shaking his head. "Shame. But... I could accompany you on the ground if you ask nicely..." She taunts once more as she looks at her nails, briefly inspecting them for imperfections. Though her taunts and teases did not give her the reaction she expected as the large Au Ra turned to continue down the path without her. The clinking of his armor the only thing giving his answer away. "Hey! Hey! Rude!" Jumping from the tree, she was quick to catch up to him. Knocking her shoulder into his once she did. "No need to be sour, love. I can teach ya how to climb sometime."
- Huge thanks to @frrrozi for bringing this piece to life. It is by far one of my favorites. This art piece was based on the idea above with having Zee taunt an off screen @ikhaara -
