Let’s Address It

I saw a post that @xxshewritesinblacknwhitexx made and it got me thinking that the decisions that both Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan have made lately disgust me. I’m going to use this platform to vent my frustration with these men. Starting with Chris and ending with Sebastian. I know that you can’t help who you fall in love with, but to marry a racist is just an immediate no for me. Sebastian Stan is no better. His girlfriend Alejandra made a post about her having an “Asian Night”. When Sebastian’s Asian fans expressed their disappointment with him dating someone who was blatantly appropriating their culture, he chose to block them. Not only that but his girlfriend did a campaign for water while dressed in blackface. But Sebastian himself is just as bad, he liked a video where a person said that white people should get a free pass to say the n-word. And to make matters worse, he is friends with a racist and dating one. As the saying goes “You are the company you keep” and this saying goes for both Chris Evans and Sebastian. I feel like Sebastian and Chris use this front of being “friends” with black people as a means to be able to say “I’m not a racist, I have black friends.” Obviously based on the company that they keep and choose to be around is a reflection of who they are as people, which is racists. I no longer support these men nor those who try to justify their actions.
