Do not accept candy from strangers

Danny made a lot of stupid decisions in his life, several, so many that he couldn't even begin to count them, but according to him that was great when it came to learning from his mistakes.

So, it's no wonder that on his one day off he decided to do everything he was told not to do:

1. Leave Amity

2. Reveal himself to the world

3. Accept things from a stranger

The first 2 were reasonable, considering the situation with the GIW and how 80% of the population did not believe ghosts existed, the last was a warning Jazz made sure to instill in him.

But Danny was dead (more or less), and what harm could it do to eat a candy or two? It's not like he could poison himself.

The answer was a lot of harm; Technically no one offered him the fallen Kryptonite on the ground (he just thought it looked delicious), and both Lex Luthor and Superman weren't paying attention to him during their epic battle or whatever.

So Danny just picked it up and ate it, well, ate several (Lex was throwing them away like a candy trail, the halfa had fun thinking of Hansel and Gretel), Superman looked worried as he heard "Lex's evil plans to surround him with Kryptonite."

But instead of finding a perfect circle surrounding him, he found a teenager, a young white-haired boy who was rolling on the ground and complaining of a stomach ache.

Danny could almost hear Frostbite's voice scolding him for eating candy off the floor, damn it, and some of the candy wasn't even pure! They looked manufactured and stale. Danny glared at Luthor before deciding it wasn't worth it and going back to his task of complaining.

to preface this post i am anti-advertising i think we should explode the entire industry but it's sooo funny when you people make posts like "and they don't even work!!" like. sorry to be the bearer of bad news but yes they do. that's why we have to put up with so many despite everyone hating them and thinking its annoying. because they actually work really well and make a shit load of money

#it actually would be way better if they didnt work and made no money bc businesses would abandon them #this isnt like stocks where everythings abstract and is essentially gambling (i dont understand stocks)#like ppl in the ad industry create things. that make a tangible and quantifiable impact on the business #which is then used in further ad planning. it is NOT all smoke and mirrors #like its fake in that the industry is not providing a necessary service the way like. grocery stores are #but its not the level of fake where everything is abstract like theres deliverables #moreover there is an extensive body of academic work specifically on how to make ads more effective #ALSO i think some of u views ads like. as if they have a win condition. which is you buy product #but in current advertising this is pretty rare and comparatively ineffective #which is why you see MANY ads which dont seem to be selling anything in particular. or which have nothing all to do with the product #the 'win' condition for THAT kind of ad is something more like 'viewers remember our name'#like. ex i would say ads for temu have not been effective on me bc i havent bought anything from them #but temu probably thinks they were SUPER effective on me because i talked abt them like 5 different times at work #and i do in fact know exactly what the company does and what they sell #and they were able to capitalize on the reputations of existing companies (wish shein etc) to build their own brand #good idea generator

Your telling me this man with two PhDs related to psychology, who always has the exact right thing to say to manipulate a situation to his favour (when it's a planned/known situation), but cocks up massively when it's an unknown situation, who has a massive reaction to getting slimed (more so than the others), who would rather joke all the time than take a situation seriously because wtf should he say

I fully understand that the reason Bobby Glass insisted on Eddie being involved with the car theft in episode 3 (when it had nothing to do with him) was because he wanted Eddie to sink deeper into that world, and realize how much he fit in.

However it is deeply funny to me to imagine that Bobby just wanted to set up Eddie and Susie.

I've been... Busy 👀

Trying to get all 4 arcs from season 1 into books!

(not available for sale, these are print proofs. I'm planning a Kickstarter early next year!)

#this is why i havent been posting much #ive been so busy between making episodes and doing Kickstarter prep #theres been a lot more for Kickstarter prep than i had anticipated #i mean. not really.#i knew it was gonna be a lot #but it's takin longer than i thought #cause i always forget how little time i have outside of making comic updates #I'm also thinking $25 a book #and then itd be $30-60 to ship them #so. if youre reading these tags its not an official announcement #but i want to give people ample warning #cause i know $150 is a lot to save up #also for legal reasons #i can not print all the books at once...#i have to go one at a time??#so I'm planning on making it like.. a box every few months #idk #I'm trying to think of thinfs that make it more worthwhile to do it that way #i want ppl to feel like they got their moneys worth idk #but! tbese two books look really good #I get proofs really early so i can go through for typos or color errors asap #so! hopefully I'll have the ghost and Victorian ones done by end kf year #so i can do the Kickstarter in like... jan/feb #i wanna add some scenes to the Victorian one #so. loads of work to do #printing #books #Kickstarter prep #time and time again

honestly we all know post ck kaz is putting his whole back into making the council's lives miserable until they stop slavery. but what about the 1/13 of them that is uhhhh maybe like his friend or something (don't ask him to admit this out loud. he won't)

Goodness, what a week. =_= Coming up with a concept on the spot and assuming that I could remotely finish it on time was wishful thinking. Looks like I won't have a chance to draw the Christmas themed idea I had in mind, unfortunately. 🥲😮‍💨

#I've been insanely busy and have learned about a few change of plans today on top of that 🙇‍♀️#RIP #Not having my tablet or more than an hour of spare time to myself is exhausting #Christmas time has beaten me to a pulp this year #I'm SO tired it's ridiculous 😭#The good news though? I should be able to share two pieces between the 26th and 31th 🙏#That'll make up for it!#Plus I might have just found a way to integrate my previous idea to a future piece #So... there's that at least 😅#I expect the last week of december to go a bit more smoothly #Or at least I hope so 🥺#Wishing rest to everyone else who needs it atm 😴💫

Lotus Lantern is a story about breaking the cycle
