thinking about nico rosberg and how happy he seems in retirement. and how much bravery it actually took to retire on that high, to say "i'm happy, i don't need more", and refuse to get bogged down in all the discourse and the hate. about his random exploits making a youtube channel and openly figuring out who he was away from the sport. how unstressed he is now compared to 2016. i'm thinking about how the f1 circuit chews people up and spits them out even if you go in with all the tools and money in the world, because money and resource is very insulating, but you're still always paying and paying in different ways - and at what cost. how he's now thriving and hydrated and his hairline is safe and he's able to stay on the sidelines of a sport that he's loved so much. able to enjoy his winnings and his nepo baby money and his family time. the way he's hilarious on camera, and says things that sometimes are outrageous (all things about lewis - like he's soooo lewis biased he's basically running a stan account but on sky tv actually... drop the burner twt @, nico). but sometimes he says things that are also really needed (being loud on camera about lando being a great driver who will have his time and his win). like, maybe we have to stan actually.
plus look at this stance:

How would Orel react to Werewolf Clay?
Either he found out during or after nature because you know he finally sees his father's "true nature" yada yada.
There is. Many things going thru his mind. his father is possessed or All of his dad's hatred and "evil-ness" manifested into this beast and he just failed to hide it from him that night or maybe this is some kind of divine retribution from god to his father!!! He doesn't know and he is worried about what. Might happen next. And what might. become of clay.

tired: caine x pomni, in the sense that caine is trying to keep her there forever with his own malicious intentions (and pomni has given up entirely, probably on the verge of abstracting if caine will even LET her), or pomni is using the relation in order to escape . very bad. very ooc. what is wrong with you
wired: caine x pomni: in the sense that they both understand that they cannot be together forever and that's ok. they still love eachother so so SO much nothing can change that and are ACTIVELY working to help pomni escape in a way that she can bring caine with her.
sometimes they find themselves thinking "i want to be with you forever", then pausing and going "...when exactly is 'forever', really?". sometimes one panics over the idea of being abandoned and going back to square one all over again, or one of them abstracting, or some horrible event that will separate the two. but they understand that the shitty situation exists and is stopping them from anything further, and they're trying to fix it as best as they can. and even if they do part one day (in the case that caine is unable to, somehow, come to the physical world), who cares? they'll have one another in their hearts, holding their memory close for as long as they live
then again it's 8 in the morning, im half-asleep, and have no idea what im doing

the fact that imogen was 18 when her dreams first started reveals so much about why she was so bitter and angry and lost all her faith in the world. now we know that it wasn’t because imogen didn’t experience her youth and the kindness of it; it’s because she did. and then it was ripped away from her. friends, people she cared about, people she loved - all of them turning on her. she had a community, a life, a job, something of a future built in gelvaan. she worked for someone. she was his apprentice. that was imogen’s whole life planned out (just starting, really) and she had a taste of it before she started dreaming and hearing things she shouldn’t. and then everyone turned their backs on her.

god!merlin
druids can NOT speak in people’s minds. when they are before a high priestess, they can pray to her directly and she can hear them (hence the scene between morgana and mordred when he spoke in her mind).
merlin who constantly has this buzzing in the back of his head that he can never understand besides the occasional odd word which makes no sense. but when he’s closer to a druid or when their prayer is super strong, then he can make out what they’re saying.
merlin who brings up the fact that druids can speak into peoples minds to gaius who casually unfurls a scroll containing his ongoing list of reasons why merlin is/evidence of merlin being a god of the old religion.
