I've made progress with Arabic! I've made progress with forming sentences with somewhat accurate grammar involving the pronoun 'i' but still struggle with forming sentences in the present continuous tense and 3rd person perspective. I also struggle with pronouncing the letter 'ض'. I can type now too :)
My GPA has reduced though, like by 10%. Previously my GPA was a 65% and now it's a whopping 56% and that's pretty disappointing coming from me. My teachers were so disappointed and the worse part is my self disappointment was greater! But hey, just because I'm struggling doesn't mean I'm failing, right? I have another exam this month so I'm sure I'll be able to do better!
I've also started going to many places like the cat cafe and the local library. I've never been to a local library back in india cuz they were always far from home, now that I moved to Dubai, by GOSH I LOVE HOW ACCESSIBLE IT IS!
it’s crazy going into a level science with the completely unchecked confidence of an autistic kid who somehow stumbled into a 9-9 in combined science gcse
Pomodoro Technique- everyone who is even mildly interested in academics are aware of this world renowned method of studying.
Simply put, Pomodoro method allows us to break our study or work materials into chunks of 30 or 40 minutes of hyper focused work and 5 to 10 min of break to allow you to relax your nerves. This method has proven to be highly effective among students and office workers to maintain a consistent level of productivity.
I managed to study a sad number of 3 hours (could have done better) in a hyper focused zone using this method. Here's what I studied-
Hour 1 - (Physics)- Waves book reading and notes
Hour 2 and 3- (Pure Maths 3)- Functions qs
Honestly not satisfied with the day's work....so much more to improve. Though this was a good first step.
Break-down and simplify some tasks (simplifying tasks literally helps a lot if you have too many things going on)
what I did for self-care:
Listened to music
did some journalling
looked for some study motivation
tried to plan for tomorrow
read a book i like
Binge-watched some anime (also Zoro got shut down 😭😭😭 how can I keep track of my anime now)
"I'm sighing in my dreams"
how are you guys?!?
I forgot to check my school messages lmao (I do online school), I woke up late opened my laptop and sat there waiting for the teachers to reply to my messages. Guess who forgot yesterday and today are holidays? I DID! Honestly, I was so stressed out but I started by reading some bio, then did my chemistry homework. After that, I met up with my tutor and studied Enzymes with her. Then I sat down again to do some speed running, looked into a webinar for my French learning and self-care and gosh it's tiring to be a student!
Spent a couple hours in my local Costa studying. I had a to do list with at least 5 things and only managed to do 2 things because further maths integration is a long and tedious endeavour
The entire video is me doing one question (keep in mind its sped up 15x) only to get the answer wrong. I eventually realised it was because my calculator was set to degrees and not radians
The day is not over yet I might do more thing, might not. I'm using this holiday to relax becaue it will probably be my last opportunity to till after A-levels
