i have a lot of negative feelings about getting older, so this is a small attempt at trying to deal with those. thinking about how Atem would feel, if he was allowed to really live, and get older and older, and live a full life, and what a blessing that may feel like.

Valentin can also be reaaally stubborn and jealous at time!

He's a sensible boy, often dealing with mood swings; you could talk with the usual bubbly, sunny Val' in the morning and get hit with a brooding, cold gaze in the after-noon, all because he overheard some gonks talking about his past as a wraith, or because he couldn't figure out what wasn't working earlier during his shift.

Everyone knows that Valentin's filters totally vanish when drunk, but his lack of tact can be noticeable during certain sobber conversations- he can be clumsy with his words, and hurt people unintentionally.

He does not forget, nor forgive; he holds grudges passively, not letting it ruin his life more than it already did in the past, but bringing up those subjects can make Valentin spiral down in his own memories for some time until he brooms them back where they came from.

me filling out my lil craft journal when i finish a project, the homework i gave myself and loving it bc i have always been a nerd

#it's just a hardback journal alksjdhf i started it a year ago when i was finally physically well enough to start crafting just bc #idk when u have a fluctuating condition it's nice to have tangible proof that you ARE able to do stuff for those bad days when u can't #i just note down start/finish dates; what yarn or which thread colours i used; w embroidery i also note what stitches #and then i write some lil thoughts on the project so i can look back on it #i intend to get photos printed at some point but the effort #second bonus w doing this is it gets me hand writing bc that's ALSO smth i haven't been physically well enough to do #still can't do a lot and have to do it in small stages w an ergonomic pen and my writing's so messy #but progress!! visible progress!!#i started in jan last year and i've finished like 12 things so basically 1 a month which is cool #we're big in a crochet moment tho it's all i wanna do (but alas i have this body...tho that's prob good for my bank account buying yarn)

Reason number idk to keep my shot day more consistent (tho tbf i had been doing really well on timing up until last week lmao):

Shot day being off means i get extra weepy over just. anything. everything. My brain looks at anything and goes 'oh yeah, that's like (horrible traumatic memory), you 'member that? Yeah, sure ya do! here's a recap of that particular time for ya too.'

and like??? I am not a fan of it today. i mean i never really am but, I have shit to do rn lmao (dishes and i keep having smutty ed/izzy and nathan/pickles ideas that refuse to actually flow on the page once i open a word doc.)

Do you see a common thread in which types of characters are your favorites?

Oughhh this is a tough one 😭 I would say I like camp, melodrama, morally dubious choices, misery, and potential for violence. Basically I like when things that are kind of intense and negative are framed as jokes. Characters that are sad and pathetic and also hilarious. My fire emblem faves constance and dimitri, my rwby faves nora yang and qrow, my rgu faves nanami and saionji, etc. idk that there is really that much of a thread through these characters, but that’s the best I can come up with
