let trans men&mascs romanticize testosterone.
keep your “you’re not going to look like an anime boy or whatever, you’re just going to look like your dad” to yourself.
keep your “but what about the balding and the acne and the anger problems and the gross hair everywhere and the horrible painful bottom growth and and and” to yourself.
keep your “once you look like a man you will scare people and you can never stop thinking about that” to yourself.
keep your “testosterone is poison and don’t you dare even suggest that saying that might hurt you” to yourself.
we are not obligated to take on your fears and traumas around testosterone as our own, nor are we obligated to let them influence our relationship with it.
we are not obligated to sit here in a world that heavily restricts and constantly threatens our access to it and listen silently as you contribute to stigma around it.
we’re already tired of watching cis society as a whole try to rip it away from us; we don’t need fellow trans people and supposed allies giving credence to their cause.
for many of us testosterone is life-saving medicine, it’s liquid gold, it’s the nectar and ambrosia of the fucking gods.
is it so hard to just let us have that? to let us believe that and say it and celebrate it without being given a million reasons to question it? is that really too much to ask?
if you can find it in your heart to let other trans people romanticize their transitions, i promise you can let us do it to.
testosterone is a beautiful thing. it makes people hotter and even more importantly it makes them happier and anyone who wants it should be able to have it because it’s so life-changing and magical and wonderful and incredibly important to so many people who deserve the happiness it offers.

I've been stalking Javier Bardem's filmography, and I'm just dying at the fact that his typecast in the 90s seemed to be hunky male whore, I mean, well deserved but 😭

Can people in the fandom please stop freaking out about Renee x Jean as if it hasn't been a confirmed part of canon for ages now. They see Nora tag something as #jeanee and are like "PLATONIC RIGHT???" No. Romantic. Because they dated and this is a fact. Jean is a bisexual man (meaning he is into women 😵) and he dated Renee briefly. This was mentioned / implied in canon, confirmed in the extra content, and confirmed by Nora on Twitter recently. GET OVER IT???? You guys are unbelievably annoying. If I was Nora I would tell you all to Shut up and DIE

What music do you think modern jaime would listen to? :)
if you asked him he’d say ‘whatever sounds good’ but the truth is he listens to a lot of hans zimmer soundtracks

i just find the idea of nealan of queenscove experiencing the fact that Women Are Horny Sometimes so delightful. he would not know what to do with it it does not fit within the constraints of courtly love! the first time he and yuki are kissing and she puts her hand up his shirt hes like woah woah babe what about our honor or something and shes like well im not tortallan but if you need to wait thats fine with me. which is flabbergasting to him. that HE would need to wait. but he is 100% the delicate little princess in that particular relationship

It’s strange to me that people think the issue with not enough women in STEM is societal pressure to be feminine. I know it’s just my experience but I didn’t really face that issue, in fact I felt overwhelming pressure to do something like become an engineer. My dad and sister are both engineers, and my family just tends to be good with science. I was good at math and science and just didn’t see it as something I wanted to do long term.
Now that I’m back in school and doing STEM, I realize that part of my issue was all my options for STEM I was presented in high school seemed really dull. Like being in a lab or in front of a computer constantly. I don’t mind doing those things, but I like a mix of lab and field work. I know ecology isn’t the only job field that does field work, so I wish that aspect had been more evident earlier on.

love to log onto tumblr and immediately see neopagan revivalist polytheists defend their religion by spouting a whole load of nonsense about the ancient world when a simpler defense is Right There if they actually knew anything about Ancient Greece

it’s very interesting being an adult (28) working with teens (16-20) and having moments when you can feel this teen, in interacting with you, just learned about how to behave appropriately in a situation they’ve never once encountered before. it’s palpable.
