Lysander is such a caring and considerate father-to-be. He’s always putting your needs before his, and is constantly wondering what he can do to make things easier on you and your body. 

I feel like in the first 0-3 months, he wouldn’t mind you working on the farm with him, in fact he would encourage it because the exercise is good for you and in turn good for baby! But when you finally start getting a bump, he really doesn’t want you straining yourself. It’s not that he wants to control you, but farm work is a lot! Lots of lifting, pulling, pushing. It could be too much for you so he only lets you take care of the easy stuff, like picking the apples, feeding the animals, etc.

Honestly it’s a bit worrisome for you because you wonder if he’s getting enough sleep, if he’s working too hard. He lets you sleep in as long as you need to because for some reason I feel like his kid would cause you a lottt of fatigue during your pregnancy. He shoulders a lot of the work himself, which is really nothing because he was doing it himself before you moved in.

Always there for you during your mood swings, and knows exactly what you need to feel better. “Do you want me to bring you your favorite blanket? And I can make you some hot cocoa.. Do you want your mug with the kittens or the one with the bunny?” I feel like most husbands would be exasperated after a while but the man’s patience is endless. And he’s also eternally grateful to you for willingly carrying his children, so in his eyes being patient is the least he can do.

When his kid is born, he’s obviously there the entire time for the delivery. I feel like he would probably hire people to work on the farm for him while he’s gone because he doesn’t want to miss a single moment during labor and delivery. He would also probably hire someone to help him out a few times during the week so that way he’s able to give you and his newborn his full attention as much as he can. 

Holding his kid for the first time is the happiest he’s ever been next to marrying you. He already knew he was in love with his baby but physically seeing them, holding them, kissing their sweet little baby cheeks, it’s something he never could have imagined. I think he would be in absolute awe, and he would also be thanking you as well. He’d brush your hair out of your face, wipe the sweat off if need be and kiss you sweetly on the lips, “Thank you, my love. This is the greatest gift you’ve given me, she’s perfect. You’re perfect.”

And yes, I say she because I 1000% headcanon Lysander to be a girl dad, I think most of the fandom does. He’s so soft with her too. Not that he was ever an aggressive man but god the way that he’s so gentle with her. If the baby isn’t with you, you can find her cradled in her father’s arms, him whispering to her how much he adores her, probably even softly singing to her. He’s huge on skin to skin contact so he’s always shirtless nowadays lol. 

When the baby is a bit older, whenever she’s old enough to start actually comprehending the world around her he’s constantly teaching her new things. Words, numbers, animals, and he speaks to her as if she’s a full grown adult sometimes. It’s so funny.

I feel like Lysander would absolutely get matching clothing with his kid. You bet your behind they’ve got a matching color palette. He’s wearing a green cravat, she’s wearing green hair bows. That sorta thing. He also has immaculate fashion sense for his child, so unless you want your kid ruining all of their nice clothes do not let him dress the kid. “Lysander we’re going to the park, why is she wearing the 200 dollar dress my aunt bought for her??” I mean really… have you SEEN the way he dresses? Idk why we expected anything less. Leave it to him and she’s leaving the house dressed to the 9’s every time. He thinks it’s the cutest thing ever.

Is probably what you would call a ‘gentle parent’. He never, EVER raises his voice at her, and even when he’s frustrated he’s really good at keeping his cool and handling whatever outbursts she decides to have that day. He’s soft, but if she’s being bad he’s very stern with her and is surprisingly good at holding his foot down even though she’s got him wrapped around his finger. 

Is definitely a good parent in all stages of his kid’s life. Toddler, child, preteen, etc. Not that your kid doesn’t trust you but if she’s in trouble or needs something she’s ABSOLUTELY going to call her dad first. It’s like he’s waiting by the phone just in case she calls because he always answers on the first ring no matter what. 

Something i headcanon about him as a parent is that he is neverrrr going to make you look like the bad parent, ever. If you make a decision, he’ll stand by you. If he disagrees with it he’s going to wait to talk to you in private, and THEN talk to your kid with you as a team. He’s very much an ‘on your side’ husband and i love that.

Analyzing the Circus & Biblical Elements in Hellaverse: Lucifer Morningstar

The Devil Daddy himself! The King of Hell! The original sin! And somehow, the silliest character in the show, Lucifer Morningstar!

Look, he's a ringleader. I've said it, the show says it, Vivziepop said it, his design shoves it in your face- HE IS A RINGLEADER. But leaving it at that is boring, despite how obvious it is, so I'm going to talk about the aspects of him being a ringleader and why he's a ringleader!

Why he's a Ringleader

The first and obvious reason is that Vivzie wanted him to be.

The in lore and symbolic reasons is because of the way Heaven saw him. In Overture, Charlie states, "He was a dreamer, with fantastical ideas for all of creation. But, he was seen as a troublemaker by the elders of Heaven."

In a lot of stories, circuses symbolize risk, excitement, and freedom. It can also be a call for adventure, which fits Lucifer so well. He was so excited to create the world and give humans free will, which was seen as something risky and dangerous by Heaven. But, by giving Eve the apple, he was able to give the rest of humanity wonder and excitement, and most importantly, free will. While he does regret it, since he only sees the worst of the free will he has given, that doesn't stop the fact that he still made humans have their own identity away from Heaven, and isn't that the point of circuses? To provide freedom and an identity away from the norm?

Lucifer's Design

Like I said before, we already know he's a ringmaster, with the suit and tophat and all that. BUT there's also other elements to his design I find very interesting.

For one, the tophat has both a crown, and apple, and a snake on it. I didn't even notice there was a crown on him until the wiki pointed it out. The snake is pretty obvious, since the snake is the one that gave Eve the apple. (Also, did you know that the bible never really said that the serpent was the devil? It mightve been a subject of the Devil, but it was never stated to be the devil. That doesnt mean we cant theorize it was tho. I absolutely love analyzing Abrahamic Religions.) There are actually so many apple references to his design.

He has a somewhat hourglass figure with 2 dots on the back of his suit, which makes his body look like an applecore. His color scheme is also primarily red, white, and yellow, which is the colors that most apples have.

Vivziepop said that Lucifer and Charlie were loosely based on Porcelain Dolls, and whole that's cute, idk what that would have to do with it relating to lore. Not everything has to be lore related you know!

But Imma theorize anyways.

Perhaps it's like a puppet breaking off a string. When he was in Heaven, he was a puppet on a string, but now that he's away from Heaven, he's like a doll trying to find his purpose. It's a stretch, but still.

Or perhaps it's a reference to both hid and Charlie's child-like wonder, since dolls are mostly used by children who have big imaginations, like they do.

Demon Elements & References

In mythology, Lucifer was said to be the most beautiful angel and the most beautiful demon, so many artists took this as him being human, which is why he's the most humanoid sin. A lot of people complained that he was a twink in this show, but honestly, he was always a twink.

All of this further proves my theory that the ideal man is a feminine man.

His last name, Morningstar, is a reference to the fact that the Morningstar was said to be Lucifer. In mythology, the morningstar (aka, Venus) was said to be Lucifer trying to steal the light of God, which is why it was a bright star that could be seen in the morning. Him having brighter colors could also be a reference to his association with dawn since it brings the sun and light.

While the name Lucifer has been used by humans for centuries, the name means light bringer, and I like the believe that in the show, it's because he brought the "light" to humanity, aka, free will.

Fun fact: According to Wikipedia, early versions of Lucifer in Greco-Roman myths said that he was the son of Aurora, the Goddess of the dawn.

I heard this on a Ted Ed, but I forgot the video. But it mentions that someone had to steal the golden hair from a devil in one story, so I think that's why Lucifer is blonde. Plus, it just fits with the apple theme, I guess.

Since today is appreciation day, I obviously had to send something in ^^ This is going to be really long because I have a lot to ramble about -w-

Let's start with the obvious. Cardboard Castle. I FUCKING LOVE IT!!! I feel so lucky to have been graced with an over 100k-long slow burn with my favorite pair. You had my ass checking the tag every day to see if it had gotten an update. Every chapter is amazing, but 4 and 5 have to be my favorite. Something about them is just… idk. Maybe it's because I absolutely love carnivals and go to them every chance I get, and the way you described them it just made me feel like I was reliving them. Plus the corn maze scene?? Dawg you had me feeling like Sebastian thinking “Just kiss him!!” The fact that it’s not really a date, but totally is. Just reading it makes me feel so festive, no matter the time of year. Thinking about it now I have the urge to make some apple cider. With all the inspiration I get from it: here’s a little mood board based on it!

As for chapter 5, I really just enjoyed the dialogue at the end. The vibes are also immaculate. I can enjoy a good angsty fic like the next guy, but David and Max just bonding with each other and being mundane makes me feel so soft. The dialogue really felt like two people just going over old memories. In your author’s note, you mentioned it would be a boring chapter, but I feel like it was anything but boring. Whenever I want to read something fluffy, I always go back to that chapter. Plus what Max did to Charly was hilarious. I don’t have as much to say about this one as I did chapter 4, but nonetheless, I love it!! To be honest, it was after reading chapter 5 that I really got into writing and decided to upload my work/become more active in the maxvid community as a whole.

And onto Heart Hallow ;D I don’t usually find myself getting into OC projects, but when webtoons recommended it to me, I was like “I’ll give it a go” AND I’M GLAD I DID BECAUSE AJDGWMEOWHFE. I adore the characters, the drawings (particularly the coloring you do for each panel!), and the little stories they go through each chapter. I can tell so much love went into it from just seeing how you talk about it when asked. Kara is up there as one of my favs (yes because she’s Aroace but it has a good personality!! I just like seeing Aroace characters >w>) but Lewis and Zeke are my top too. On several of my assignments, I have Z + L scribbled on them surrounded by hearts. It has driven my friends crazy trying to figure out who they are LMAO.

And just like I do with all my favorite media, I had to insert my OC in there somewhere :3 So, Spencer! I had a lot of fun filling out her card and doing the little edit. She managed to sneak her way into employment at HH (I’m not creative, please just accept this.) and is one of the housekeepers. So two things about her. One, she’s an artist. She does a lot of landscapes/portraits. And two, she’s super messy. Which is why she has a bunch of paint all over her! She’s good at getting it out though.

Anyways, the reason that she has paint all over her is that she noticed a lot of the walls at the hotel needed to be touched up, and since she’s really good with matching colors (make-up artist), she used what paint the hotel did have to create the color needed to re-paint the walls. Then she heard about the old murals that used to be on the walls (probably from Lewis) and was like, “Wait a second. I can paint landscapes. I should do that!” So she got (dubious) permission from Mr. Wright and got to painting! She does it whenever she has time. Mr. Wright seems like he wouldn’t care, cause free art. So yeah. She does a lot of painting so constantly dirty, much to Lewis’s annoyance. And every holiday she gives all her co-workers paintings because it's cheap and easy.

And some doodles :> Not the greatest artist but I like to think I’m funny.

She suffers from having bad taste in men disease :( Her two friends, Ava and Mia run a bakery and anytime they have leftovers they give them to her. If she has anything left from that she’ll take in with her to share the next day. She is also super tall (6’5) because it's funny to insert her into a show/movie/comic and have her be the tallest person there. I also had another meme in mind but I don’t think I’ll finish it in time so be prepared for a random meme in your DMs one day.

What hardware and software do you use for digital art? I’m a semicasual artist considering finally upgrading from a trackpad and photoshop, and I want to know about potential options.

First of all mad props for drawing with a track pad, my first digital art was made with a mouse and a track pad just sounds even harder. I’ll go over some hardware options first and then software options!

If you’re looking for a small upgrade, I recommend a tablet. Wacom makes some excellent ones but there’s plenty on the market that are good! They’re basically giant track pads with pens. I used them for some of my early digital art pieces and many professional artists still swear by them. You can get them at most Best Buy’s (well in the USA at least idk where you live) and some of the smaller ones are like $50

If you’re looking for something way more expensive you could get a Wacom cintiq, which you plug into your computer. You can set it up so that it acts as a second screen so that you can draw right on your screen with a pen and then have reference images open on your main computer screen. Super useful. I’ve used that a lot but had to stop for a long time because I didn’t have a good way to set it up, I recently moved so I set it up again and can’t wait to use it :D

A third option, and what I use the most, is an iPad and apple pen. Get a newer iPad if you can so that you can charge the pen by magnetically sticking it to the side to charge instead of plugging it into the iPad, that way both can charge at the same time. I loooove the Apple pen because it lets me angle it so I can get the nice angled strokes I would get from like charcoal or something. Super sensitive and the way colors look on an iPad are STUNNING.

There’s some other hardware options but that’s all I feel qualified to give recommendations on. Onto the software!

You already know photoshop which is great because a lot of buttons and shortcuts in photoshop are the same in other programs. I grew up learning digital art on photoshop, I would even download the old free versions when I couldn’t get my hands on a paid copy. But I don’t use photoshop anymore because it’s a subscription and I don’t wanna pay for that lol. Maybe someday 🤷‍♀️

There’s a TON of free programs that are great, like medibang and fire alpaca. I’ve played around with a few of these but I highly recommend looking up reviews on which one you’d like before getting one. A lot of people use Paint Tool Sai as well, I used to use it a lot, it was a long time ago so I don’t remember how much it cost, I think someone gifted it to me. Just bringing it up because it’s a good program.

I don’t have this yet, but I REALLY want Clip Studio Paint, aka CSP. You can find a ton of fun and free custom brushes people have made for CSP that I’m dying to try!! I’ve heard nothing but good reviews of it. It’s expensive but goes on sale four times a year, it’s going on sale next month and I’m going to get it!!! :D

The software that I use the most right now is Procreate for the iPad and I highly recommend it. Just like CSP people also make custom brushes for it and they’re so much fun. It’s nice to have a super robust art program that’s really portable, you can take it to a cafe and do sketches! If you get an iPad, I highly recommend it!! A lot of people also use heavy paint on iPads, and I haven’t used it, but it looks like it functions a bit differently than procreate. Eventually I’ll try it and can give a solid review of it then.

Idc if they do or not their designs are so friggin cute. I wanna hurdle a specific VR skin of Eddie into a wall though.

i started to try animating. I made a little Home animation and I’m hoping to post it soon. Took me about 2 hours. It’s my first ever animation I’m actually a little proud of so please no throwin shame 🥲

Idk if this I'd where to send wholesome things like the post said, since I'm fairly new to Tumblr, but it's getting a little closer to fall and it's what's keeping my head above the water rn. Specifically, I've been holding on to a really nice tea for a while, since it's a tea that would be especially perfect for cozy fall weather, and I'm very excited to be able to really enjoy it soon. It still tastes great, but doesn't hit the same in 90°F weather.

It's a tea called Red Plum, it's a Chinese red tea, meaning it brews a deep dark red color, with a rich maltyness with a small bit of astringency, which is the mouth drying bitter effect that tea has on your mouth after you swallow a drink. I'm not sure if you're familiar with tea or not, or know what these terms are so sorry if I come off as condescending.

Anyways, red plum specifically tastes like fall. Period. Besides the flavors and feelings that come with most red teas being warm and cozy in themselves, Red Plum tastes like roasted apples, sweet potatoes, and cinnamon; a tea which a friend described as "sitting on a lake front on cloudy, breezy, crisp fall day", which oddly enough made perfect sense. My favorite thing about tea is how many different flavors and experience you can get out of it, despite it only being leaves. The fact that some people over hundreds and thousands of years figured out how to make hot water with leaves in it taste like apples, cinnamon, and fall, or like steamed milk and strawberries, through sheer cultivation is absolutely baffling to me.

Experiencing tea and learning tea is something I've come to love and has brought me a lot of peace and tranquility where I otherwise wouldn't have any, and I hope sharing it with you might invoke a similar feeling. I'm a big fan of your work, and I'm sorry to hear that you aren't doing well, and thought I'd take the chance to give back while also getting a little self indulgent in my interests lol

favorite craft to do in your free time: Idk what constitutes crafts but I don’t think I do them…I’m more of a handy out of necessity kind of girl. do you have a sense of direction and if not what's the worst way you've gotten lost?: I never get lost, but once as a child my dad who is not very good at his job (parenting) took me to Disney land and lost me after about 10 minutes. He didn’t notice I was lost somehow and when I found him an hour later he was smoking and eating a Mickey Mouse shaped chocolate. I have forgiven but I will never forget 😂

Hello! I would like a cabin matchup! I'm just going to tell yoy a little but of everything!

I have curly dirty blonde hair with sea green eyes and a gold ring around my pupil. I have some piercings. I also have some freckles.

My personality has always been complicated for me to explain, so I'm sorry if this part is awful lol. I've been described as a natural leader, im a strategic thinker, im extremely sassy and dramatic, im also extremely loyal and kind to my friends and family (I'm also incredibly protective of friends and family).

To be honest, im so caught up with online school and work right now, that i dont really have any hobbies. Im going to list some things that are known as hobbies that i really enjoy: drawing, listening to music, reading, watching tv, scrolling on social media, i also love to mess with sex traffickers that text me on whatsapp.

My style is a skater style (baggy jeans, sneakers, baggy shirts, etc.) even though I don't skateboard lol (I've tried but it makes me nervous).

I dislike know-it-alls, people who bully others and sleep peacefully at night, rude customers at work, when it doesn't rain enough, slow walkers/talkers/drivers, and more lol.

Here are some facts about me that may or may not help you sort me into a cabin:

- my family has one military member for every generation

- I love salty foods

- I've always had a fascination with the ocean, but I am scared of the ocean lol (idk how it works tbh)

- one time in kindergarten I told my teacher the apples were blue and then I got in trouble bc my teacher was always mean

- I love blue food

- I have multiple awards for theater acting from middle school

- I play violin and ukulele

- I have had six pets in my entire life

- my favorite colors are blue, green, and black

- I am a chaotic good (if you couldn't already tell)

- I used to stick bobby-pins in outlets when I was younger

- I always do stupid stuff lol (ex: When I was younger I rode my bike and crashed into trash cans on purpose and enjoyed it)

- I graduated high school 2 years early

Here is all of the careers I wanted to pursue and why I changed them (the average student changes their degree on average 7 times):

- CSI Agent: didn't want a lot of death in my life bc it would effect my mental health.

- Marine biologist: the thought of being miles underwater with many unknown (and possible scary creatures) is a nope for me

What I am currently wanting to do:

- become a model and fashion designer.

I couldn't decide between Poseidon and Apollo. You are very similar to Percy in personality, but I think I'd see you more in Apollo bc you like to juggle lots of talents and all your interests are very widespread, like Apollo. I might be slightly biased bc I am a child of Apollo but whatever lol. You have the chaotic energy of an Apollo kid.

I also think you could be a legacy of Nike, (idk if you know what a legacy is- hopefully you do lol) because you seem to have a drive to do your best. Even though you change you're mind about how you succeed, you seem to know exactly the details of why something isn't suited for you. And you know exactly what you like and dislike.

What would you say is the worst part of high school, period? I was actually fine with high school for the most part – my bigger problem was with the very nature of the school itself since I went to a Roman Catholic school. Doing a bunch of church shit several times in a month was the norm, dress code was super suffocating, and 'prom' was not only mandatory attendance but was also instead called 'benefit dinner' because apparently prom is too scandalous. There were also secret student spies assigned by the guidance counselors to tip off whoever was thought to be in a same-sex relationship. I also had a male teacher make a remark about my boobs once. :) Made me hate the concept of religion for as long as I live.

A few weeks into college I was already wearing shorts and sleeveless tank tops to campus because that's how freeing it felt.

What is your favorite color of apple? Red, green or yellow? I don't eat apples.

How old will you be on your mother’s 68th birthday? Is that ‘old’ to you? I will be 41. Yes, the idea of being in my 40s makes me a little dizzy lol.

Ever want to be a doctor? Is it because of all the hospital shows? I considered being a doctor very briefly but it wasn't because of medical shows. Are you someone who actually likes to babysit children? Depends on the kid, which automatically disqualifies me from being a good babysitter lol. I'm picky with kids and will avoid ones that are rude/talk back/yell everything everywhere/throw their toys/cry if they don't get what they want/are hooked to gadgets/will do the opposite of what you ask them to do, thinking they're being charming. So...most of them haha.

Do you ever have those ‘ah ha!’ moments? Do those annoy you? Uh, I guess so? That's very vague though, and I can have aha moments that are good, that are bad, or when I realize how dumb I'm being about something.

When is the next time you’ll eat a cupcake, if you know when? I have no idea :( I love cupcakes but there just aren't a lot of shops that sell them, and when I find one it's always so so so expensive.

Does your family go on a lot of vacations? Are they more boring or exciting? For my own standards yeah it's already a lot for me! We go for 1-3 times every time my dad is home, which comes up to 2-6 a year. Our itineraries have considerably slowed down the older we've all gotten, but I like it just like that.

Where did you last buy socks from? What do those socks look like? Uniqlo. It was a pack of three pairs - one is white with blue accents; one is maroon; and the last one is grey.

Do you ever lay in the grass and look up at the sky, just because? I don't lay in the grass because uhhhhhh red ants and stuff lol, but I like looking at the sky whenever I can. I did that yesterday in UP while I was people-watching :)

When do you normally go to sleep on the weekends? Anywhere between 2-5 AM.

Have you ever met someone with the same ‘biggest fear’ as you? Yes, mine is fairly common.

Do you ever have movie nights with your significant other? I don't have a partner but even when I did we didn't really do this.

Would you rather write with a pen or a pencil? Why is this? Pen. I don't like how pencils get dull so quickly.

Who was the last person to call you fat, if anyone at all? Not exactly 'fat' and they didn't mean it in a demeaning manner but my mom referred to me as having put on a little weight over the years, but I didn't find it offensive because it's generally true anyway.

What color skin does the last person you danced with have? That would be the rest of the 32,000 capacity crowd that I watched Seventeen with, and it would be my best guess to assume 99% of us were brown. I saw some foreigners too but super few and far between.

Are you afraid of being kidnapped if you go outside at night time? Yes. I never walk outdoors in the evenings unless I'm at BGC.

Has your mother ever called your school because of your grades? No but that's kind of shitty. I had bad grades because I didn't put in enough effort, so I would have found it embarrassing if she went that route.

The best field trip you’ve ever been on; where was it to anyway? Answered this in a previous survey, but tbh just any field trip where we went to museums. I actually credit my school for kickstarting my love for museums because in Grade 1 we went to a couple of small local ones. It was such a fun and profound experience and I never stopped searching for new ones to visit from there.

In the next twenty minutes, what will you be doing and where will you be? I'll still be in my room but probably watching YouTube videos to prepare for bed.

Do you work? If so, have you ever been fired, then rehired from the place? I do work, but have never been fired.

Can you tell when people are lying or telling the truth? That's hard to answer. Some people can lie effortlessly.

What would you say your average word per minute time is on the keyboard? Anywhere between 85-100.

What is your least favorite class in school? Why is this? Chemistry, trig, calc. They were impossible for me to understand and I also resented those classes a little bit because it definitely made me think, "I'm headed towards journalism school anyway, what is the point of ever learning this?" like it was just a waste of time for me knowing I'll never have to apply the more complex concepts in the real world.

Do you bite your fingernails or tap them on desks? I can't bite them at the moment because I have braces lol, but I used to do it. An alternative I go for is to just tinker with them enough to tear the long nails off.

Have you ever wanted to be in a band? What position exactly? I wanted to be a drummer once but that was more of a fantasy. I never actually had the goal to be in a band.

Do you ever call your cousins just to talk to them randomly? Nope.

When did you last spend the night at someone’s house? Hans' house. Well technically we arrived at his house from Thailand at like 5 AM and then we all took a nap there til noon, but I'm still counting it. This was back in June.

Do you find any of your friends’ parents creepy or really mean? Reena's dad has an attitude problem and I don't like him, and fortunately I've never had to interact with him save for one instance where he tried to be snooty with me after I picked up Reena from their place. I threw it right back at him but just under my breath.

When is the next time you’ll go to the library? Why is this? I don't have plans to do that. I don't even know enough about our public libraries to know which ones are the best to visit.

The year is almost over and with it you will be tumbling into the next semester and that is a lot it is a lot there are big feelings like what do you have to show for yourself and you’ve wasted away your summers again and like maybe you could lighten the fuck up

You have a few things going on physically that are kicking your ass and even if you refuse to show it outwardly you have to allow yourself that knowledge

You have to try to be at least as kind to yourself as you would be to an acquaintance you find mildly annoying. You are legitimately harder on yourself than you are on people you know you dislike. Don’t you dare take this as a new shame fixation either. Just be honest with yourself about how you treat people and accept that if your friends can be nice to you you can be nice yto you. It doesn’t have to be valid or mood or so same friend it can just be sincere in a quiet and come t free way.

NightcoreReality Nightcore - Dementia

A: Given how this sounds and the picture, I'd think this would be a Nightcore of an anime opening (maybe a full length version of one, idk). Here's my interpretation: 

(cont:) The main character, named Dementia, would be that girl with the orange hair. Her personality would go like this. She'd be quirky, a bit nutty, but awesome in her own way. She likes apples and pink ponies, and she does a lot of drawing with colored pencils drawing those two things (but also some other stuff). She is sixteen years old and in school. All the other characters she either is or becomes friends with. 

The girl in blue with the blonde hair is named Annie. She is mature and content, and has the "give a smile, get a smile" philosophy. She enjoys making people happy in addition to her hobbies of cooking and home improvement (which makes her rather physically fit). She goes to Dementia's same school though she is in the class above her.

The boy with the blue/violet hair is Annie's boyfriend Kyle. He is laid back and does a lot of napping. Even despite this, he gets excellent grades and is in the gifted program. His hobbies (other than napping and hanging around with Annie) include video games and studying German. 

The other boy is Kyle's best friend Macon. He's an athlete on the track team at Dementia's school. He's kinda hard-boiled and stoic, not taking any of Dementia's crazy antics anytime or anyplace, preferring to either run or write his novels. 

Okay, characters established, here's what the anime would be about. 

Dementia, Kyle, Annie and Macon all go to a boarding school called Elk Valley. Basically one year they're going to school on the train and instead of going to their normal school, they go through a portal and end up in another dimension, where the train ends up at a magic school where they teach people to use magic wands and such.

The anime is all about how they learn how to use magic and then, in the second arc in the season, how they graduate to become witches and wizards and unravel how magic works in that world and they pioneer a project which changes the world for the better. During this process Dementia acquires a boyfriend there, his name is Flint Moonberry, and about 3/4 of the way through the series he gives her a beautiful ring as a present. She wears it from then on. 

However, at the end of the series, just after they've saved the world, they all go to bed in that world's King's ruby palace. Dementia goes to bed last, and she wakes up from her slumber with someone unfamiliar calling her name. She opens her eyes and finds herself lying on the bench on the train to Elk Valley, her backpack on the floor beside her. She's back in her school uniform, the magic robe and staff she picked up in the other world gone. She looks confused and gets up, walking off the train. Annie, Kyle and Macon look equally confused. 

"I had the weirdest dream," Dementia says to the other three. 

"Yeah..." they all reply, "So did we." 

"Kinda weird we all had the same dream," Dementia replies with a shrug, "But it was just a dream... Well we should get going. Don't want to be late for class." 

"Yeah. Let's go," the other three say. 

But as they walk away, the camera would close up on Dementia's hand, where the ring that Flint Moonberry gave her... 

is still there.

And, I think that the general idea of how the story is going to go sounds perfect. It sounds like a cute anime. :P

A: @I By "work on", do you mean "work from" as in starting from the key point of "degenerative brain disorder" and work forward to a character from there? Or do you mean "fix" as in change the name to fit the character?

I: Valid question. I meant: Change the name. 

There is nothing particularly "wrong" with the name. And a name certainly doesn't dictate a person's personality traits. But the name "dementia" seems a tad weird. It would be like if I named my kid schizophrenia.   

I don't want to impose on someones ideas or originality but the name is just a little weird and "on-the-spot" sounding.  

But in the end, you do you. I don't want to ruin something in your mind by being a nitpicker about it.

A: @I Thank you so much for the feedback! I agree the name is a tad strange. However, I was basing the story off the song. The song is called "dementia", but is using it in a more metaphorical sense. "You're driving me crazy". He's not talking about progressive degenerative diseases; he's talking about an odd person. I was referencing a similar meaning in my story.

“No.” He said bluntly.

“Why not? Did something happen?” You crouched down to his level.

“Ajax was mean to me again.” The little one whimpered. “He said my hair was stupid.”

You made a mental note to tell the child’s father once he got home.

“That’s not nice of him.” You tousled the boy’s colorful locks. “Don’t listen to him, your hair is perfect.”

“You think so?” He gave you big round golden puppy eyes that made your heart melt.

“Yes of course I do!” He smiled at your words. His little arms held out asking for you to pick him up. You scooped him into your arms and carried him off to the car. He was tiny but still heavy.

“Why doesn’t daddy pick me up from school?” He said sadly.

“Your daddy has to work.”

“Oh…” the little one sighed. “Why does daddy work so much?”

“He has a very important job.” You answered.

You got to the car and buckled him into the car seat.

“Ajax said my dad works for dead people! Is that true?”

“What?” It took you a second to realize he meant the funeral parlor. “No sweetie, he doesn’t work for dead people.” You didn’t want to traumatize him with the details at such a young age.

You got into the driver's seat and drove out of the school parking lot. He was quiet all the way home and just stared out the window. After a short drive you pulled into the driveway of the large house. You let Xiao out of his car seat and he held his arms out to you to be held. He certainly was a clingy child. You carried him through the quiet house to the living room and set him down.

“I’m gonna make you a snack, is there anything you want?” You asked him.

“Almond tofu!” He exclaimed.

“You can’t have that for every meal, Xiao.” You chided.

“Oh..” he thought hard. “Apples then… but can I have just a bite of almond tofu?” He persisted.

“Would you rather have some now or save it till dessert? Cause I know you’ll ask for it again after dinner.”

“Fine… I’ll wait.” He sighed.

You patted his head and went to fix him a plate of sliced apples, you added some crackers and juice for good measure and brought it to him. He nibbled on the snacks happily and then decided it was time to color.

Time went on like this till nightfall. Xiao drew a dragon that he wanted to give to his dad. He was really just the cutest. You checked the clock, Xiao’s father should be back soon. It was getting late and Xiao was getting peckish again so you decided to get dinner ready for them so they could eat when he came back from work. You went to the kitchen and started preparing a good meal of chicken, rice, and vegetables.

“What about almond tofu?” The persistent child asked.

“I’ll do that next.” You calmed him. You went ahead and got started on the dessert so it would be ready later. Cooking wasn’t really required in your job description but you did it once in a while. The boy’s father always seemed to be so tired when he got back.

You heard the door open and Xiao scrambled to run to the door.

“Daddy!” You heard his exclaim from the other room. “Look what y/n helped me draw today!”

“That’s amazing!” You heard him reply. “Let’s go put it on the fridge!”

Zhongli entered the kitchen with his son dragging him by the hand. He looked very tired but tried to be energetic for his excited child.

“Hello, y/n.” Zhongli said softly.

“Hello, I went ahead and made dinner for you.”

“Oh you didn’t have to..”

“It’s okay, I wanted to. There is enough for leftovers. Let me just finish Xiao’s favorite and I’ll be on my way.”

“Would you just like to stay for dinner?” He asked.

“Oh no I couldn’t impose.” You blushed nervously.

“You're not imposing, you made the dinner after all.” He smiled at you awkwardly. “We’d love to have you stay, right Xiao?”

The little one jumped up and down and ran to hug your leg.

“Please stay, y/n.” He gave you the irresistible puppy eyes again.

“Of course, I’ll stay. I can’t say no to you.” You ruffled his colorful hair.

Zhongli smiled to himself while he witnessed the interaction. No one had been able to get Xiao to open up like you had. He used to be such a quiet child until you came along. Maybe it was just his imagination but he felt that you were having a similar effect on him as well.

You felt a bit awkward at dinner, Zhongli had never invited you to stay before. Your crush on him was driving you crazy, thinking of all the reasons he could have asked you to stay. You were just Xiao’s nanny so you didn’t want to overstep any boundaries. Throughout dinner Zhongli grew more comfortable as the evening continued. It felt natural having the three of you there together. He wondered as he always did when he saw you, if you might be the answer he was looking for. Xiao had always been begging him for a mother. Zhongli wanted to make him happy, he tried to go on dates but no one seemed to fit. No one except you. He’d be lying if he said he hadn’t considered asking you out, but every time he considered saying something it didn’t seem like the right time.

“Y/n! Come read bedtime story!” Xiao was already dragging you off by the hand to his room. Zhongli cleaned up the dishes and then followed you to the boy’s room. It would be a difficult task getting you out of Xiao’s clutches so you could go home and get some rest. He was also feeling the fatigue of the day and felt like he could fall asleep any second. He found the pair in Xiao’s room looking at books. The little boy already had a stack of all his favorites that he wanted to read with you. The little one looked up happily at his father when he entered the room.

“Xiao, I’m sure y/n needs to get home and rest. Why don’t you save the books for another time?” Zhongli told the boy.

Xiao’s eyes widened and nearly teared up. He looked at you for confirmation.

“Y/n? You don’t have to leave yet do you?” The little one whimpered. He gave you the adorable puppy eyes once again.

“I can read one book with you.” you looked up at Zhongli. “Is that okay? I’d hate to disappoint him, he’s so excited.” Zhongli smiled at you and wondered how he could possibly deserve someone like you.

“As long as your not too tired.” He agreed.

Xiao looked at his bed skeptically. It was not big enough for all three of you. He was accustomed to his father laying on his bed with him while being read to. With you there now there was simply not enough room. He came to a quick conclusion on how to fix the problem and grabbed onto both your hand and Zhongli’s and led you off to his father’s room. He climbed up on the big bed and waited expectantly. You blushed at the idea of even just sitting on his bed. Zhongli had similar thoughts and looked away awkwardly. Xiao had already opened the book and was sitting there expectantly. Neither of you wanted to disappoint him so you went and sat on either side of the child.

Xiao nestled into the crook of your arm and gave you the book to read. As you started reading you felt yourself get more comfortable and sleepy. You were so sleepy you became unaware of Zhongli’s arm behind your shoulders or the adoring glances he gave you.

Zhongli was drifting off as well, it had been a long day for him. And now with you leaning against him and quieting his mind with the story you were reading he felt at peace. Your head fell onto his shoulder and he sleepily pulled you closer. The scent of your hair was the last thing he remembered before drifting off to sleep. Xiao stood up on his tiny legs and patted your head and then Zhongli’s.

“Lumine said that only mommies and daddies sleep in the same bed..” his little brain tried to work out what this meant. He climbed off the bed and jumped on his own bed and fell asleep almost immediately.

Zhongli woke to find you cuddled against his chest with his arms around you. He gently tucked your now messy hair out of your face and your eyes fluttered open. You gasped when you saw who you were snuggled against and jerked back from his touch.

“I’m sorry.” You squeaked. “I didn’t mean to fall asleep.”

“Y/n.”

“I’m sorry, I should go.” You scrambled out of bed and made for the door.

“Y/n wait!” He jumped up and hugged you from behind. You felt like your heart was going to burst out of your chest. “Y/n, I really like you.”

You twisted around in his arms to look at him.

“I like you too Zhongli.”

He smiled softly at your words and looked at your lips. You melted into his arms as he leaned down to kiss you. It was short, sweet, and perfect. He pulled away and gave you an unusually mischievous look. You squealed as he scooped you up and carried you back to the bed. He peppered you with kisses and held you close. You snuggled against him as he pulled the bed covers up over you.

“It’s Saturday, I don’t have work. Want to stay here for a while?”

You nodded at his request and pressed a kiss to his lips. At this moment Xiao came in search of the two of you. He climbed up on the bed and you gasped in surprise. He bounced his way into your arms and giggled. The little boy snuggled between you and Zhongli.

“Does this mean you’re my mommy now?” He asked seriously. You blushed furiously but Zhongli just looked at you happily.

“I hope so.” He told his son.

You blushed even harder and hid yourself in his chest. And so the three of you cuddled in bed until Xiao announced he wanted breakfast.
