#a session i have been planning and getting hyped up for for MONTHS
Let’s talk dates: obey me! brothers+ Solomon and their dates for you
Super hyped to do this, and thank you for all the love on my previous posts! Everyone is very much appreciated 🥹 like I said tell me if you have any requests, and I’ll get to them!
This post is quite fluffy, with a few kisses here and there. I hope you enjoy!
-not proofread twice-
Lucifer
A dinner at a fancy restaurant
Specifically Restaurante six
Will plan his date at least two months in advance for two reasons:
1. He has a specific seat in said restaurant that is his very favourite, which is why he will make sure to get it for his favourite human
You deserve only the best, and he won’t settle for anything less
2. He makes sure his brothers know in advance so that they don’t destroy his date night with their antics
So on date night everyone is on their best behaviour
On the night of the date he will pick you up punctually
He’ll link his arm with yours and takes you to said restaurant
Will let you order a super fancy meal
You can literally get anything you want
After the eating he’ll take you on a romantic walk
Fingers intertwined and all that cute stuff
Then he pulls out a small box “will you marry me?”
No not that, he’ll take out a small necklace with a beautiful gemstone in the centre
Will put it around your neck all romantic; letting his fingers trace your skin while hooking the necklace
“Wow it looks beautiful on you.”
Mammon
A very cute beach date
His dates are usually pretty spontaneous:
“Babe let’s go to the beach!” On the most random days
You guys drive there with his car, listening to your favourite songs, screaming your lungs out with the windows down
Once you get there you go into the changing rooms, change and then notice how hot you guys look
Cue make out session in the changing room
On the beach you guys do various different things; swimming, playing in the water, sun bathing, making out etc
Will have a competition to see who can build the bigger and better sandcastle
Will buy you an ice cream if you ask
For dinner he lays a picnic blanket on the sand and brings out his „famous“ cheese sandwiches!
you guys watch the sunset while holding hands
At the end of the day you guys get in the shower together, washing off the sand from each other’s backs
He will give you his jacket to wear once you guys finish showering
Drives you home, with a hand on your thigh
Talking about life while the stars twinkle in the night
Leviathan
He takes you to an aquarium! The biggest one in the whole devildom!
He’ll ask you if you wanna go a few days prior
But he’s been preparing for months
He practiced how to ask, what to say on dates, where to bring you, literally EVERYTHING
He wants only the best for you damnit 😭
When you say yes he was absolutely ecstatic!
Wait you said yes?!?
Cue more planing and stressing
Asks his online friends how he should go on about it in the most optimal way possible
On the day of the date he’s a nervous wreck
Fussing with his shirt, refusing to make eye contact and a few very short yet fast sentences
He just needed a bit of time to relax
So once he gets to the aquarium he relaxes
Besides the ocean is his natural element, so he feels most confident around sealife
He tells you a few things about the fishes you see
The conversation is light and easygoing, doesn’t feel forced and everything you guys say comes out naturally
Very soothing if you ask me
If he feels especially confident he’ll hold your hand with red cheeks
Will point at pretty fishes saying: this one is you
When you go to the bathroom he converses with the fishes asking for pointers
Will buy you matching keychains
Once you have seen enough fishes for a day he walks you home
Gives you a quick kiss on the cheek as goodbye
Satan
Plans this date a week prior and asks you two days beforehand
Brings you flowers like a gentleman
A lovely two-part date: first he takes you to one of those places where you can make your own teacups
While making the cup he completely fails
Sure he’s read about it and how you do it but when they give him the clay he literally goes; wtf why is it so sticky and doughy
Tries to make it look good but.. well
He applauds you for being able to do it so well
A surprisingly good sport about not having the most pinterest worthy cup
Just uses his inability as an excuse to go on another make-your-own-teapot date with you
The painting was a whole lot smoother than the making of the cup
That being said it still wasn’t extraordinary
When you finish he lets out a small laugh at his cup
For Lunch he takes you to a cute cafe
Let’s you pick anything you want
He even lets you eat off of his plate
Which is good because his food always looks better than yours…
While going home you WILL come across a cute kitty
And he will start petting it
Gets whiny when the cat likes you more but secretly finds it utterly adorable
At the end of the date you two exchange cups
His cup is on your shelf, and yours is on his
Asmodeus
Takes you to a lovely botanical garden!
Asks you a day or so prior
You guys get ready together; matching outfits are a MUST
First you guys get Lunch at a super popular cafe. Then you go to the gardens!
The gardens are absolutely beautiful! He takes lots of pictures of you the plants
Butterflies always land on his hair and make him look like a disney princess
Sadly bees like him too, so count on lots of squeals of happiness and fear
Points at two flowers growing next to each other and names them after you two🥹
After that he takes you to a pandora store and gets you two matching bracelets the ones with the hearts
I hope you don’t mind paparazzi because his fans are everywhere
that totally didn’t happen because he couldn’t stop yapping about his date with you on his live
Don’t worry they won’t disturb you, actually they just take a bunch of cute photos of you two and send them to asmo
And because he has so many fans you guys get a LOT of pictures
Seriously his fans have been graced with the ability to take the most gorgeous pictures!
Not to mention you guys look so darling in every. Single. One.
Asmo saves ALL of them, literally ALL OF THEM on his phone
He has one especially cute picture of you two as his lock screen and will always look at it when he feels a little sad
Beelzebub
He‘ll take you to a fangol game
Asks you about the same time he gets the tickets, which is like a month prior to the gane
So he‘s exited about your date for the whole month!
On the day of the date you guys go there by bus
When there’s only one seat available he lets you sit on his lap, or if you don’t like pda then he‘ll just make the other demon scram 🤷‍♀️
He is one of the seven rulers of hell so theres not much the other demons can do or say
When you get there the crowd is HUGE
Beel of course gets everything you can get from the food stalls
He even shares his food with you 🫣
While watching the game he lets you sit on his shoulders because he likes having his face between your thighs so that you can have a better view
After the game he takes you to one of those restaurants where you can get a huge bowl of ice cream and whoever finishes it gets it for free
Totally didn’t get inspired from the main storyline
Will steal a kiss from you at the end of your date
Belphegor
Takes you on a super sweet carnival date
The plot twist is he takes you to one at night
I‘m to 99% sure that devildoms carnivals open at night you can not change my mind
Like they open at 7PM and go till the whee hours of 4AM
He asks you super spontaneously but planned the date like a few weeks prior
You guys walk around holding hands looking absolutely darling
If you want to go on a specific ride but the line is too long he will pull some strings to let you skip the line
Whatever ride you feel like, you can get 🥴
Is the type of person to think rollercoasters are a little slow
He‘d probably fall asleep on one of them tbh
Is amazing at those rigged carnival games
He has that crazy good aim, so always when he wins a prize he gives it to you
He loves the smile on your face when he wins
You guys share cotton candy together
Anddd he buys you those candy hearts saying some cheesy stuff like; „because you stole my heart“
When you guys go on the ferris wheel it stops when you’re at the very top
Something about „technical issues“
So you guys watch the small stars while waiting for it to start running again
He then looks at you with those; ‚I love you‘ eyes
When your eyes connect he leans in and gives you a romantic kiss, making him feel like he’s on top of the world (literally)
Solomon
He takes you on a picnic at night
At night for what reason you ask? Because he wants to take you stargazing
He asks you rather spontaneously, but plans the date a few days prior
Please get your own picnic snacks/food cause you don’t want to find out how „dragonhead soup“ tastes
He walks you there, and everything is already set up
Telescope, blanket, a few pillows, food
He lets you sit between his legs, letting you lean your head against his chest
Honestly looks at you more than he looks at the stars
„Wow they’re beautiful.“
„yeah..“
And while saying that looks at you
He plays with your hair, and tucks them behind your ear
He prolly hums small tunes while looking at you
Asks a small „can I?“ before kissing you
And of course two shooting stars go by you while you kiss🥹

a/n: thank you for sending this in!!! (so very very long ago) (desperately hope whoever sent this in is still around to read it or will stumble across it one day) (feel like it wasn't what you imagined in sending these prompts, but i tried!!!) takes place in part 6 (??) after the porch swing talk but before the goodbye. yes let’s go with that and sorry for any retcon
Tumblr media
Rafe Cameron insists on walking you to your parents’ front door every time he drops you off. It’s second nature to you, now, to wait as he opens his truck’s passenger door and shuts it behind you once he’s helped you out, his hand outstretched for yours, which has hardly touched a door handle since you began dating. He’s a romantic, big on good-night kisses, and he’ll always wait until you’re inside before he so much as turns around to start walking back to his truck.
It took some getting used to, and you’d passed the point where you thought he might give it a rest. But that never happened, and you’d come to learn you want to expect nothing less—not from him or from any other guy you’d plan to get serious with, which was hardly a thought your mind could conjure these days.
How could it, when it was always taken up with remembering the names of songs you think he’d like, or reminding yourself to change out the water in the seemingly endless vases of flowers stationed on your desk, your dresser and your night table, or by reading books he’d recommend to you only after he’d finished them—after many sessions tucked together on a beach towel under the shade of an umbrella.
But maybe just this once, you really wish he was more like your ex-boyfriend back at college, the one who dropped you off at the end of your driveway and sped away more nights than he didn’t.
Of course, that just wouldn’t be your boyfriend Rafe Cameron.
“What do you think about the mainland tomorrow?” he asks, his hand at the small of your back, the two of you climbing the steps of your parents’ porch, slowly, drawing out the moments before goodbye.
“I think I love that idea,” you decide, smiling as you think about it.
“Let’s get the early boat,” he says. “Sarah told me about this new brunch spot.”
“I definitely trust her taste. She’s bougier than you,” you say, drawing away from him and toward the door, hand still connected to his.
“I’m not sure if I’m insulted by that,” Rafe says, pulling you back toward him before shifting his body to fit between you and the door, giving you no access to the knob. “But I am sure that I’m not ready for you to go inside yet.”
“You’re not?” you muse, slipping your arms up and around his neck.
About a month ago, you’d be concerned about your giddiness for him being written all over your face. But Rafe’s cheeks were almost permanently tinged pink in your presence, and it only has the effect of making you want him more.
“This dress is insane,” he says, leaning in for a peck only after his eyes sweep up your frame the way they had been doing all night. “You gonna leave your window open for me tonight?”
“Might close it early,” you shrug, pretending to ponder on it.
But Rafe is having none of it, lips catching yours in a way that should embarrass you when you know your dad’s home office has a street-facing window. “Really?”
“Y’know, gotta catch that early ferry and all.”
“What time should I come?” he murmurs against your lips, his arms constricting impossibly tighter around your waist. “Or we can skip brunch. Actually, fuck brunch and forget I said anything.”
“I’ll text you,” you say. “Alright? Just hang on a bit.”
“I’ll try,” he sighs, dropping one more kiss to your forehead as you reluctantly step away. “But no sweat. Get some sleep if you need to, sweetheart.”
The front door flies open just as you’re making to push it in, your mother’s excited face appearing before you. Never in the history of the world has that been a good sign.
“I thought that was you two!” she says. “Rafe, a pleasure as always.”
“You as well, Mrs. Y/l/n. I was just going.”
“Nonsense,” she says, before turning to you. “Y/n, your grandparents are here.”
You blink. “Why?”
She glances between you and Rafe, still exuberant, ignoring your question completely. “Have him come in and meet them, will you? They’ll be so excited.”
Your head is spinning, but you feel Rafe’s hand slip into yours, and you give him a squeeze for reassurance. For who, you aren’t sure. “Mom—sorry, when did they get here? I wouldn’t have went out tonight if I knew.”
“They surprised us. Now surprise them back,” she urges, turning before you answer, heels click-clacking across the foyer. She glances over her shoulder, one last enticement. “Peach pie.”
You turn to Rafe, sighing with your face immediately buried into his chest.
His laugh reverberates. “C’mon, baby girl.”
“You don’t have to come in. I promise,” you say.
“I want to. I promise,” he answers, shrugging. “As long as it’s alright with you, it’s alright with me. Your mom’s side, right?”
Your eyes widen, thinking about the alternative. “Yes. Jesus, if it was my dad’s, we’d be back down the road already.”
You sigh, trying to steel your nerves with your eyes shut tight. The door was still open—you needed to get in there sooner or later.
“Y/n,” Rafe says, your full name falling off of his tongue and invoking in your body an involuntary reaction. He was more keen on pet names, you’d noticed, and shortening your name to the one only your friends called you. “Are you alright?”
“I’m alright,” you confirm, taking him by the hand again as you both face the entryway. Your far hand reaches up to grab at the crook of his elbow, both of your hands gripping, but not too tight.
“Are you? What’s our signal?”
You feel your eyebrows knit. “Our signal?”
“Yeah. Y’know, like a code word or something when you need an out. You and Dylan don’t have one?”
You think back to previous holidays, the eye contact made at the table, the kicks in your shins and the heavier sips when you realize you’re on the same page—that it’s time to get just drunk enough to be able to handle this without tipping anyone off. “I think our signal might just be alcohol.”
“I’m not getting drunk in front of your dad.”
You roll your eyes. “I know.”
“What about Kelce?”
“What about him?” you ask. “We don’t have a signal either.”
“No, his name. The word. Just say ‘Kelce’ if you need me to dive bomb us out of the dining room,” he says.
You shake your head, still racking your brain and prolonging the inevitable. “That won’t work. My grandma loves talking about Kelce.”
“Huh,” Rafe says, incredulous, his mouth twisting. “Imagine that.”
“Sorry,” you wince, squeezing his hand again. “Sorry—she just. We’ve been friends for so long. That doesn’t matter. They’re gonna love you.”
“Just do that,” he says, like he’s already moved on. “Just squeeze my hand, baby.”
You look down at where your hand is clasped in his, giving another experimental squeeze and having it returned.
He nods, a question in his eyes. “Got it?”
“Got it,” you say with a grateful smile, leaning up to kiss his cheek. “And you do it, too. You know, if she does bring up Kelce and you can’t handle it. She still talks about his prom tux.”
“Too soon, Y/l/n,” he mutters, leading you over the threshold. “Too fuckin’ soon.”
“No more,” Rafe groans, his hand on his stomach. “I might explode.”
You eat the last bit of peach pie off the fork you’d been offering to him, the both of you giggling as he wipes a bit from the corner of your lips. The way he licks his thumb after has you grateful your grandparents are already halfway back home—you know Rafe wouldn’t come back over later if he knew your grandparents were spending the night.
“You realize she’ll show up at Thanksgiving with, like, three of those now?” you say, setting the fork on the plate he’s holding, which he quickly puts on the table beside the couch before he leans back.
“Let her. I’ll wear an elastic band.”
“A little presumptuous,” you say. “Thinking you’ll get an invite to my mother’s Thanksgiving dinner.”
Rafe looks temporarily affronted. “I—”
“M’joking, baby,” you say, kissing his cheek, legs thrown over his. “She’d kill me if I didn’t bring you. And now I think my grandparents would, too.”
“Cliff is chill as hell. I can’t believe your grandpa runs a nonprofit. That’s not very Figure 8 of him,” Rafe says.
You roll your eyes, burrowing your head into his chest all the same as he fails to hide any affinity, just as your grandmother had done with him. Appeasing the women in your family could never be further down on your list of priorities, especially when it came to your suitors. But you couldn’t help but feel something happy settle in your stomach, watching your mom exchange looks with her own mother as they watched Rafe.
“Maybe that’s why they moved.”
“I guess I’m surprised,” he admits. “Your mom… she’s so…”
“Figure 8?”
“Is that okay to say?”
“Yeah. She is,” you say. “It’s kinda engrained. But I think she likes it that way.”
“You’re not like that,” he says, his thumb dragging down your shoulder and back again. “What was your grandpa saying about a job next year?”
“Hm?” you say, snuggling down further into him, eyes starting to droop.
“I dunno,” he says quieter. “I thought Cliff was talking about you coming to work for him next year.”
You heard him correctly the first time, but you honestly hoped he’d drop it. “Yeah. Just newsletters, digital. Stuff like that.”
“That sounds cool,” he says, and you can hear him trying in vain to keep his voice even.
“He said I’d get my own office,” you admit. “And a title.”
Rafe perks up slightly. “Oh yeah?”
“Senior nepotism associate.”
“Get out of here,” he laughs, tugging on the strand of your hair that he’d been twirling around his finger, a bit of the tension breaking between you. “That shouldn’t bother you. And it figures that’s your bloodline. All those ocean cleanups you dragged us to.”
“Seem to remember you showing up to…” you trail off, counting on your hands. “1, 2… let’s see, all of them?”
He bats at your hands. “Alright, alright. Have you thought about it though?”
“A little,” you sigh, resigning yourself to the conversation you didn’t want to have. “I know a few of his employees. And I don’t think I’d mind working for him. Their mainland office isn’t a far walk from the ferry in. It’d be great, really.”
“But…” he pries, tugging on the strand again.
“But,” you sigh. “I don’t know. I still don’t wanna close myself off to the idea of staying in California. I love it there. I’m making ins with Agnes and her network, I know it.”
He nods, going quiet for a while as you both gaze out at the water. “It’s nice that you have options, though.”
You turn to him then, taking his far hand and holding it between yours, fiddling with the cigar band on his ring finger. “It’s a whole year away, Rafe.”
“I know,” he says, leaning in to kiss your forehead. “Hey, I know. I just don’t like thinking about being away from you.”
“Well we’re… Rafe, we’re gonna be apart,” you say. “At least for a year. And that doesn’t change how I feel about you.”
He nods again. “I guess... this summer, it’s just been easy to forget all of that. That I’m going to Georgia and you’re going to California, and you might not be coming back. But I am. And even though I know that... I don’t know what it says about me that I’m picturing having you here with me all the damn time.”
You’ve taken the time to picture it, too. It’s hard not to when most of the summer has been interrupted bliss, and you’ve been toying with the idea of coming back long before Rafe re-entered your picture.
“This is why I didn’t wanna talk about it,” you say morosely, beside yourself when you feel your tear ducts sting.
“Baby,” Rafe whispers. “Hey, baby. I’m sorry I brought it up. I just thought with how he was talking about it, I don’t know, it sounded like you were really considering it.”
“You didn’t do anything wrong, Rafe,” you tell him, willing your tears not to fall. But now that he’s onto you, that he’s reading the emotions in your eyes and feeling what’s weighing on your heart, it’s like your body decides it’s allowed to fall apart. You sniffle. “I don’t know what I’m considering. But I don’t like thinking about being away from you either.”
He thumbs away some tears, before looking back out across the horizon, the sky somehow almost an inky black color when it had just been lit up in hues of orange and pink minutes ago.
“Hate it when you do that,” he says, his arm dropping around your shoulders again.
“What?” you ask.
“Cry because of me.”
You don’t have anything to say to that, and if you tried to speak again you might completely lose it, so you settle for slipping your hand back into his, squeezing as tight as you can.
Because you know this isn’t the first—and certainly won’t be the last—time that you’ll cry over Rafe Cameron.

please expand more on the shoyo tiktok gym thing 😭 i am going insane ONLY IF YOU WANT TO OF COURSE >:)
Tumblr media
content: gn!reader, timeskip and final arc spoilers. established private relationship (that gets revealed). tiktok thirst traps :P just fluff. i rambled a lot lmaoo. note: hehe of course!! for you & me lan<3
— . 。˚ ♡ hinata shoyo tiktok baddie era let's gooo!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
hmmm so shoyo decides to try tiktok out because of all the hype the jnt receives during the olympics. they're the monster generation after all — atsumu and suna have been gaining quite a lot of traction on their pages, and they ask shoyo to cameo in their videos often, by popular demand. so he decides to give it a go!
of course, as soon as shoyo launches his tiktok and posts a video (just a short one of him sitting on the locker room bench at practice, introducing himself while the rest of the jnt are walking around and chatting in the background) he blows up instantly. @n1njashoyo gains over 30k followers within a day, and his first video gets a 100k likes in a couple of days. his account becomes big news everywhere.
he's one of the most popular members of the team globally, so it makes sense. he's known as the cutest player on the jnt, and in brazil/argentina he's so famous as “ninja shoyo”. people start tagging him in edits and fancams, and he sometimes duets them to praise and thank them.
lots of “hinata senshu notice me please 🥺” comments on his videos, and he replies to some of them with “hi !! 👋🏻” because he's just the cutest ever fr <33 he also responds to most japanese commenters and people that comment in portuguese because he understands them better.
his posts are mostly workout routine videos, different kinds of warm-up/cool-down stretches, high protein meal plan discussions—and he also films (and ocassionally goes live during) his evening runs and practise sessions. he has a series of form correction videos on volleyball, and a series of videos on resistance workouts that target specific muscles.
and every time he posts a clip where he's shirtless, doing curls or just anything with the weights, the videos are so clean and zoom in on his muscles so nicely<3 people start commenting things like “hinata sen do you have a camera man?” and he replies to one of them like “yes i do! :)” and they start telling him “senshu i think your cameraman has a crush on you...” little do they know v_v.
he doesn't respond to those comments, and the rumours about him having a lover away from public eye resurface. some viewers from brazil (where he lives at, since he's a player for ASAS) say that they “know something the others dont” etc etc.
and it builds up until about six months after shoyo launches his tiktok, one night he posts a thirst trap. low exposure filter, dim blue lighting, he's shirtless and standing infront of the mirror in just a pair of sweats — and behind him, someone is wrapping their arms around his waist. the video ends as soon as you fully lock your arms around his waist, and it drives his fans crazy.
the fangirls start posting about how their dream husband just announced that they're no longer single, comments like “gf reveal???” “hinata sen WHO IS THAT” “mr. hinata shoyo EXPLAIN” fill nearly all his recent videos.
after that little stunt, he disappears from social media for a bit. he had posted the thirst trap right on the brink of off season, and he stops posting on any of his socials for a couple of months.
then one day he makes a sudden, quick comeback — he drops a long video of himself and you, his beautiful partner, relaxing at a beach resort and enjoying a sunset dinner together at the beach. he clinks his glass of cherry wine with yours, takes a sip and grins at you all dopey before leaning in to give you a kiss. there are matching golden bands on both your ring fingers.
and the caption? “5 stars ⭐ food is good !! :)”

"Boytoy"
WARNINGS; sexual references, ken x fem!reader, reader uses she/her pronouns, ken finding out about periods, fluff & happy ending, plot doesn't connect with the movie, probably grammar mistakes
Tumblr media
Bonus Part
Tumblr media
After their rather intense night they just got comfy under the covers, this time with Ken being the big spoon. Y/n was laying her head on his chest, just where his plastic heart is, his heartbeat lulling her into a deep sleep. Our lucky Ken had his arms wrapped around y/n's frame, while nuzzling the top of her head, inhaling the flowery scent of her shampoo, feeling his eyelids getting heavier.
~~
Since that day they've been inseparable. Ken figured out how to control his waking up in the real world or in Barbieland. He was also informed that there's a portal to y/n's world at his favourite beach. Y/n's house has become his own and she was happy and patient to get him used to human activities such as going out for a snack, walking her home after her classes and so on.
Life is good, it's sublime. Y/n is looking forward to Ken's surprise for her birthday...she was able to figure out what it was but she'd never reveal that to her giddy man. Ken is planning to take her to Barbieland for a day and that means she can meet her childhood friends, the Barbies.
Currently, Ken is waiting for y/n at her apartment because she had exams to take. He is so proud of her for the silliest of accomplishments so y/n can hardly imagine the excitement he feels for her determination and wit at studying. Unfortunately, she wasn't in the mood for celebrating, or making out, or having a tickling session, or watching horse documentaries. Ken was devastated.
Y/n went straight to her bedroom to change into the fluffiest pyjamas possible before curling up next to Ken and letting out a deep sigh.
"Why did it have to happen today out of all days?!"
Ken is puzzled by her statement. His expression is rather adorable as he tries to understand what is going on in her head. He finally speaks in a sheepish but also curious manner.
"What did happen today that shouldn't have y/n?"
She huffs and buries her face in his arm. She is already tired from all the studying, frustrated with her headaches and exasperated from the too familiar cramps.
"It's nothing Ken...", she murmurs.
Under any other circumstances she would've been delighted to share this part of her human experience with Ken...however the thought of having to break down what periods are to her blonde partner has y/n riled up now.
Ken is of course too dramatic at his reaction to her dismissive answer. He takes an expression of pure heartbreak.
"Are you bored of me?! Oh no y/n!"
Y/n can't help but chuckle a bit and her mood lightens up. He can't be so pure, it's infuriatingly cute.
"It's my period Ken, it's not your fault I act like so grim..."
Ken's confusion is comically obvious and she decides to explain what needs to be explained.
~~
By the end of her primary school teaching moment, Ken is looking at her with a new kind of awe. If women weren't fabulous enough before in his blue eyes, they definitely are now.
And so another monthly ritual is added to Ken's list of being y/n's hype man. He makes a huge, too bright and silly looking calendar and writes down his human's days of the month. She always has a bag of chocolates and plush toys waiting for her, maybe a flower or a cowboy accessory. Y/n has a whole collection at this point. The best part, though, is what comes after the marked days on the calendar end....
Let's just say Ken's libido is that of a teenager's and how could she complain when she's ovulating?
Tumblr media
notes~~
Well, that's it... the little happy ending I had promised. Boytoy was the first thing I ever posted on here and the first thing I wrote in general for the public eye🥺 Looking back, I know I could have done it better, but I don't want to be ungrateful because Boytoy made my blog gain an audience. I want to expand my writing on other fandoms so stay tuned! Thanks for all the support <33

Steam rose from the kettle’s spout, the high pitched whistle indicating the water had boiled. The teapot had been filled with fragrant tea leaves and two slices of lemon. Sugar and milk side by side in the tray, alongside a plate with homemade biscuits and a platter of elegant tea sandwiches. Two white teacups with golden rims and matching saucers, one of them prefilled with a shot of white rum. Linen napkins embroidered with an S, silverware from Italy and a touch of affection from the hands that prepared the tray.
Charlotte picked it up carefully, carrying it close to her body to bear the weight easier as she took it to Thomas’ rooms, where he currently sat with his main physician for his monthly evaluation. Doctor Foster rarely had anything new to say or any glimmer of hope to offer them; he only came the first week of every month to tell them what they already knew and collect his payment. One of the very few visitors whom Thomas didn’t welcome with a scowl, perhaps because he secretly harboured the hope of one day getting the words that he wanted from the old man.
The scent of fresh flowers accompanied Charlotte as she walked to the second floor. Ever since that conversation with Mrs. Gray, she had redoubled her efforts to brighten up Thomas’ life. Vases with freshly picked flowers decorated various surfaces of the rooms, the bouquets swapped as soon as the first petals began to wither and fall. Every morning she drew back the curtains and opened the windows, to allow sunlight and fresh air inside. She encouraged him to rise from bed at appropriate times, not allowing him to linger between the sheets for days on end. Books, board and card games and even a typewriter had been brought up, in hopes of encouraging him to find anything to keep his mind and day occupied. She hadn’t managed to do something about his hair and beard yet, but she would soon get there.
She pushed the double doors open with her shoulder, the teacups tinkling in their saucers and the tea sloshing slightly. When the doctor came around, he and Thomas met alone behind closed doors, not even his aunt allowed in, although she always received a briefing before handing in the money envelope. Whether the man spoke or not the truth of those sessions to her, one couldn’t know.
Lottie cleared her throat, barely enough of a sound to alert them of her presence as she placed the tea tray on a low table. She tried her hardest not to snoop, but curiosity can be a wild and untameable thing. She looked through her eyelashes towards the bed where Thomas lay, stripped down to his underwear. The doctor held Thomas’ foot in his hand and urged him to push against it as hard as he could. She noticed his hand fisted on the sheets, teeth gritted as he put all his efforts on heeding the simple command. As Thomas looked down at the doctor, his gaze crossed with Charlotte’s. The blue melted to pure ice, and he grabbed the closest thing he had at hand to toss towards her, which happened to be a harmless pillow.
“Out! Out of here! Now!”
She didn’t need to be told twice. Charlotte scurried out of the room and down to the foyer. Mrs. Gray already stood there, nervously drumming her fingers against her arm as she stared out the window. On a side table lay a closed envelope with the doctor’s name scribbled on elegant calligraphy. Charlotte noted it to be slightly thinner than the previous one she had seen, just a couple days after her arrival to Arrow House. Maybe the doctor had lowered his fees for them, or maybe Mrs. Gray had decided he got paid far too much to do nothing except bear bad news.
Both women waited side by side, submerged in their own thoughts each, the silence interrupted only by the ticking of the grandfather clock. Three quarters of an hour had passed when Doctor Foster came down the stairs. He had bread crumbs on his shirt and moustache and a biscuit on hand. For some reason, that ticked Charlotte off.
“Well?” Mrs. Gray asked harshly, also noticing that the man had surely spent more time eating than being helpful to his patient.
The doctor had the decency at least to stuff the biscuit in his pocket and brush off the crumbs before speaking. He stood straight, arms behind his back, a nervous twitch of the lips making his moustache quiver. He appeared to be intimidated by Mrs. Gray, a feeling that Charlotte shared.
“It is all just the same. His legs are weaker than in my last visit and he has started to lose sensitivity in some areas of the soles and calves. I am afraid it’s just a matter of time before he can no longer leave the chair, not even with the cane”
The news settled in the bottom of Charlotte’s stomach like a chunk of ice. They knew, all of them, the severity of Thomas’ lesions, and the limited prospects he had of recovery. But they thought, his aunt most of all, that they had more time before the inevitable. A few more years before he became completely and irremediably wheelchair bound and maybe worse than that. Charlotte knew all too well what sort of future would await then; bed sores, loss of muscle, infections. A lifespan cut in half.
And if she had come to learn something about Thomas during her time working there, he wouldn’t stand to live needing assistance to take a piss.
Mrs. Gray’s lips tightened into a line, eyes narrowing just enough to seem darker than usual. She put her hand on Doctor Foster’s bicep, the wool of his sweater straining a bit under the strength of her grip. The man didn't show it in his face, but that surely hurt.
“May we have a word, you and I?” Her tone sounded more like a demand than a petition, as she led the doctor towards her private studio. Charlotte waited until they disappeared from sight to release a shaky breath. She steadied herself for whatever hellstorm would rain upon her and headed upstairs slowly. But halfway up, a loud crash cut through the silence, accompanied by the sounds of broken glass and muffled words that could only be curses of the thickest calibre. She picked up her skirts and broke into a sprint.
“Thomas?!” She called out as soon as she crossed the doors.
Thomas laid on the floor amidst broken porcelain and bits of food. The tea table had been flipped over, as had the delicately prepared tea tray. His wheelchair remained by the bed several feet away, with his cane carefully propped against it. Judging by the way everything lay on the floor, Thomas had tried to leave the room alone and unaided.
“Christ in Heaven what happened here?”
Charlotte rushed to his side, her keen eye immediately noticing the myriad of minuscule wounds in his hand and face from the tiny shards, along a more concerning cut on his temple from the table corner. She tried to help him sit up, but Thomas only smacked her hand away
“Leave me, I can do it. I can do it!” He growled, fighting her off like a child refusing to put on a coat in winter, or rejecting having dirt wiped from his cheek. Groaning due to the effort he rolled onto his back, but he had not enough strength to sit up without laying his wounded hands on the floor.
She paid no heed to his stubbornness and instead hooked her arms under his armpits, putting all her strength into dragging him away from the dangerous mess before he could injure himself further. She grunted with every pull, managing to move him only a few inches at a time, her muscles straining against the dead weight.
“Do you think I am a sack of shit to be dragged around?” Thomas hissed, but at least he had stopped thrashing about like a fish out of water.
“For fuck’s sake you are as heavy as you are obtuse” She retorted back, clearly not caring about the properties of their caregiver-patient relationship in that moment. At least not enough to watch her language. She only cared about somehow putting him back on the wheelchair and assessing the damage.
It took her no small amount of physical strength and skill to get Thomas back onto his chair, even with him doing what little effort he could pushing with his legs against the floor. By the time she had managed to prop him back into place, a thin layer of sweat pearled her forehead, and she felt the dampness of her skin under the thick fabrics of her uniform. She hastily wiped her brow with her sleeve, all her attention focused on the bleeding wound on his temple. The crimson stained the left side of his face and neck and soaked the fabric of his shirt and waistcoat. Charlotte pulled off her white oversleeves to use them to stem the bleeding, but as expected he rose to battle the second she tried to touch him.
“I said don’t fucking touch me. Get away. Get away!” He barked the last words, his hands slapping hers away repeatedly. It would have been comical if it had not been so irritant. But Charlotte finally snapped, her never ending patience finally fading into naught as the blood continued to pour and her patient continued to fight. At last, she got hold of Thomas’ wrists and forced his hands to the sides, her grip firm but not painful. She leaned in, their faces closer than they had ever been before.
“I am going to take a look at those cuts whether you approve or not. So I suggest you make both of our lives easier and stop being so difficult” Her tone rose steadily with each word, surprising even herself. She had never spoken to another person, let alone a patient, that way. But Mr. Shelby had effectively exhausted all her reserves of compassion and in that very moment, with him wounded and pricked with glass, Charlotte couldn’t find it in herself to coddle him. In that moment he didn’t need her kindness, he needed the firmness and determination of a war nurse.
And Thomas seemed to know it too, deep down. For he fell silent the second her words rang through the air, eyes widened and lips parted, shocked to have someone speak to him that way. Slowly, like admitting defeat, he placed his hands on his lap, fingers digging tightly on the fabric of his trousers. He evaded Charlotte’s eyes as she took a seat by his side, having grabbed a small first aid kit she kept in hand.
It seemed that Thomas Shelby couldn’t stand up to a woman who spoke louder than him.
While he held the rolled up fabric to his knocked temple, she took hold of his left hand and held it up to the sunlight. With a pair of alcohol soaked tweezers she began the delicate process of pulling the tiny shards off. Every now and then he hissed in pain and tried to pull away, but it took only a sharp look and a tightening of her grip on him to put him back on track. The pieces of porcelain tinkled on the lid of the first aid kit balancing on her knees as she dropped them, one by one. When she finished she pressed an alcohol soaked rag to his hand, forcing his fingers to curl around it. Thomas’ jaw clenched, but he refused to display any sign of pain besides the flaring of his nostrils.
Charlotte inspected the cut on his head next, her eyebrows furrowing in concentration as she pushed aside the blood matted hair, her face so close to him her breath fanned over his face. That close she noticed even his hair smelled of cigarettes, since he refused every effort of her or anyone to help him wash.
"The cut is not deep enough to require stitching but I will have to bandage it"
Tommy snorted "I am not going to let you wrap me up like a fucking mummy"
Charlotte rolled her eyes "Mummies have their mouths wrapped shut. I cannot afford that luxury with you" She quipped, gently dabbing at the wound with a wet gauze, being as careful as she could to spare Thomas further discomfort. But that wouldn't save him from her stern words now that they had been allowed to emerge. Gentleness had proved ineffective against him, so now Charlotte had to retort to cockiness, a quality of hers she had kept buried for being ‘unbecoming’ but which now would prove useful to crack Thomas’ stone walls.
“Deep breath” She instructed, pressing the alcohol soaked cloth to his temple. Thomas bucked like a startled horse, nails digging on the armrest of the chair and teeth gritted, his head instinctively trying to escape the sharp burning, but forced to remain still by Charlotte’s firm hold. She held him against her body in an almost maternal gesture until the pain faded into a manageable sting and he relaxed his muscles and stopped huffing.
“Are you always this much of a brute with your patients?” He asked in between heavy breaths, although his tone had dropped some of the usual sharpness in favour of something akin to amusement. As if he saw something in Charlotte that sparked his interest.
“Only with those who deserve it” The diverted smirk made it to her lips without permission. A faint hint of pride rose upon her chest, for the very first time she had managed to make Thomas comply, even if it took a head wound and raising her voice to do so. The first step had been taken for him to finally see her as an aid and not a threat or a nuisance. And Charlotte couldn’t wait to take the next.
After she bandaged his head, having added in between a teasing comment of how things would have been much easier if he didn’t sport the haircut of a caveman, she set up to put the room back in order. The maid brought her the broom and dustpan, but Charlotte took it upon herself to clean up, knowing he wouldn’t take kindly to having others in the room while he changed out of his blood soaked upper clothes. While she swept crumbs and pieces of porcelain, the little bug of curiosity nagged at the back of her mind.
“I take it the doctor didn’t bring the news you expected” She often spoke to him, perfectly aware he wouldn’t reply, but she did it nevertheless. She always talked to her patients back in the ward, even if they couldn’t hear her or talk back. Giving them the reassurance that they had someone at their side looking after them, even if they couldn’t see her.
Much to her surprise, however, this time the patient spoke back.
“He knows nothing, that man. I pay that man to heal me and all he does is come into me house, eat the fucking food and flirt with the maids” He pulled out a cigarette, rubbing it against his lips twice before lighting it with a black and golden lighter “He’s not coming here again”
Lottie refrained from rolling her eyes “He has been looking after you for years. Ever since you were injured during the war. He knows you better than anyone else Thomas. He is only trying to help you” As I do, she added in her mind.
“And what a great help he has been, eh?” He drummed his fingers against his thigh to emphasise his words, his piercing eyes following Charlotte’s every movement as she rolled the heavy and soiled carpet to put it aside and set the table back in place.
“I know this concept may seem foreign to you, but I beg you to show some basic kindness to the new doctor when he comes next week. I am sure Mrs. Gray had the best intentions when she asked him here and-”
He cut her words with a single statement that completely flipped her “Oh she didn’t call him here. I did”
Charlotte felt compelled to clean her ears and ask him to repeat himself in case she had heard wrong. He? Thomas himself had called a doctor to help him? It made no sense, for the man who rejected most fervently to be helped, to ask for help of his own free will.
He picked up the astonishment in her widened eyes and continued on without having to be pressed further.
“He’s been working with many veterans after the war. He seeks them to try on his new treatments. Treatments he devises himself” He snuffed his cigarette in one of her pretty vases before tossing the stub inside, letting it float around the fresh daisies Charlotte had brought that morning “He says he’s made them walk again”
A mixture of feelings flooded Charlotte, all at the same time and with such intensity she couldn’t focus on only one. Once more she had to fight back the pity, but it couldn’t be helped. How could she not feel sorry for that man who clung to the first ‘medical miracle’ that crossed his path in hopes of restoring what war had cruelly taken from him? She had seen it before, men who drank questionable syrups and tinctures, swallowed handfuls of nameless poisonous pills and subjected themselves to the most horrid types of torture medicine could invent in hopes of regaining some semblance of a past long lost.
Close second in her heart came suspicion. Thomas had mentioned that this man, this doctor whoever he was, sought the veterans himself. Which meant he utilised less than orthodox methods to retrieve confidential medical records from private practitioners and maybe even from the war offices. And those treatments created by himself? It screamed charlatan all over, a trickster who exploited desperate men and robbed them of all their life savings and more just to give them reused saline in clean vials and sugar pills in medicine bottles with handwritten labels.
Charlotte couldn’t comprehend how a man like him, so careful and methodical, a man whom everyone regarded as possessing an incomparable sharpness of mind and an overflowing resourcefulness; the man who had Birminghan quaking in their boots at the mention of his name, could be fooled by false promises of medical prowesses that smelled rotten from a mile away?
She swallowed, trying to find how to best bring up her concerns without making it sound like a direct attack on Thomas' judgement. Lottie sat on the edge of an armchair, her hands folded in her lap, fingers intertwined as she pondered her words.
“Thomas” She rubbed her thumb and index together, a nervous tic of hers that nothing had managed to suppress “Doctor Foster has been seeing you for years now, and he has not once changed his prognosis. Don’t you find it a bit suspicious that a new doctor just comes to you and offers you a miracle?” She watched him carefully, her head slightly tilted to the left, studying his expressions. He grabbed a new cigarette, gently tapping it against the box as he spoke.
“Doctor Foster is old and behind the times. Did you know he was the last man in Birmingham to have electricity in his house?” He sighed and scratched his brow with his thumb, pushing the edge of the bandage out of the way “He thought the toxic fumes would poison him in his sleep”
Lottie snorted. She failed to understand how a man scared of electricity gave credit to this new physician. “Okay, I understand it. Doctor Foster is afraid of progress, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t good at what he does” Charlotte wondered if her reasoning would find home in his brain or if she just wasted saliva talking to the walls “But this man? Thomas, don’t you find it at least a bit suspicious? Did you even question him on where he got your medical file from?” Nothing made sense, that after they checked her background before even summoning her for a mere interview, they didn’t hold the same standard to the man who would be juggling Thomas’ health in his hands.
He didn’t acknowledge her concerns, obviously. In fact, he seemed to not have heard them at all. He turned his wheelchair towards the double doors, the sunrays warming his skin as he closed his eyes, dried up blood still glued to the side of his face and clinging to his beard. He brought up the cigarette to his mouth but never made it quite there, hovering just an inch away from his lips as he stared out towards the vast woods.
“The doctors make progress every day. They create new medicines, new treatments, they heal more and more people every day. If one doesn’t help you go to another, and another, and another until one does what others can’t” As Charlotte approached him slowly, she noticed he had a sort of dreamy look in his eyes, and for a moment she worried he had gone too hard on his nighttime visit to the morphine bottle. But the dazed gaze didn’t come from opioids. It came from hope. Endless, boundless, foolish hope.
And it worried her to no end.
Charlotte crouched next to Thomas slowly, her hand coming to rest in the crook of his elbow. Surprisingly, he didn’t shake her away; perhaps he didn’t even notice her at all, lost for a moment in a daydream of miracles and a bright future.
“Thomas” Soft words, pleading even, fingers digging into the fabric of his shirt “Think this through, think carefully. If something sounds too good to be true, then it is too good to be true. If this physician is such an eminence, then why is he not sharing his discoveries in the Medical Society of London, or being named director of a large hospital? Why is he not speaking before the King and being put in the list of honours of the year? Why is he seeking his patients instead of them flocking to him?” She shook his arm, hoping to shake his senses too “This is a scam, Thomas. He is a liar. I am sorry, but you will not get better, and you know it Thomas”
Those last words hit the sensible fibre in him. He shook Charlotte off with such roughness she lost her balance and toppled back, landing on her ass on the floor. The dreaminess had cleared from his eyes, swapped back to his usual coldness and the everlasting hint of anger, anger at the world and destiny and everything and everyone that had led him to that state.
Thomas pushed open the double glass doors with his fingers and rolled his wheelchair forward. The sun framed him, making him seem like a shadow stepped out of golden light. He lit the cigarette at last, puffing out the smoke in rings. He leaned back his head, as if relaxing to take a nap, but his eyes remained open, focused on the clear skies. He spoke the next words softly, but they resounded loud and clear for Charlotte.
“I will walk again. I know I will” A long drag of the cigarette “And if I don’t, then there is nothing left for me in this life”

NIGHTWISH Won't Tour In Support Of Next Studio Album
Tumblr media
NIGHTWISH has announced plans to take a break from touring and will not hit the road in support of the band's next studio album.
Earlier today (Thursday, April 6),NIGHTWISH released the following statement via social media: "As the 'Human :ll: Nature - World Tour' is drawing to a close, we feel now is the time to tell you of our plans for the next phase in our journey.
"After the planned shows for June 2023 we will be 'hanging up our spurs' for an indeterminate time, as far as live concert performances go, and won't be touring the next album.
"The reasons for this decision are personal, but, we all agree, vital to the wellbeing and future of the band. Be assured that we still love working together, and this decision has nothing to do with Floor's [Jansen, NIGHTWISH singer] pregnancy or our other individual projects.
"However, an album of 12 new songs will see bright daylight in 2024, as will 3 music videos! The band is positively hyped beyond words over this new upcoming musical adventure.
"Stay tuned for updates from our legendary NIGHTWISH band camp & studio this summer!"
Last December, NIGHTWISH keyboardist and main songwriter Tuomas Holopainen said the band's upcoming follow-up to 2020's "Human. :II: Nature." will be the third part of a trilogy that began with 2015's "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" album. He told Metal Hammer: "I immediately knew after getting that album ['Endless Forms Most Beautiful'] done that, 'Okay, we have to do more songs about this, because there's so much more to explore and tell the world. We're not done with this.' And the same thing happened after 'Human. :II: Nature.'; we're still not done. So let's do one more. At least one more.
"In a way, [the next album] is the third part of a trilogy, which started with 'Endless Forms…' and then 'Human. :II: Nature.' There are some major surprises there again, but it feels like a natural continuation to 'Human. :II: Nature.'"
According to Tuomas, NIGHTWISH's next LP will cover previously uncharted ground while continuing in the more cinematic style that has characterized some of the band's recent efforts..
"The wonderful thing is that we have had the demo [of the album] done since last spring. So it's been done for six months now. We really have all the time in the world to go through it all, and we have had a such great time with the band, just listening to the demo in our hotel rooms — me singing the lyrics and the melodies to Floor [Jansen, vocals]. She's recording them and then she's seeing them and throwing ideas to each other."
Last September, Tuomas was asked if NIGHTWISH's upcoming LP will once again be an exploration of evolutionary science, as was the case with the previous two releases. Tuomas said: "Yes and no. It sails on the same waters, but there's some new surprises there as well."
Holopainen went on to say that NIGHTWISH fans will have to wait a while before hearing new music from the band. "We'll enter the studio next year and the album is gonna come out maybe early 2024," he said.
In August 2022, Tuomas told Rock Sverige that he spent "about a year" working on the music and lyrics for the next NIGHTWISH album.
Asked if he got any kind of inspiration from the pandemic, Tuomas said: "Yeah, lyrically there's a couple of things that reflects the pandemic, but not in the way you would expect."
"Human. :II: Nature." was released in April 2020. The follow-up to 2015's "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" was a double album containing nine tracks on the main CD and one long track, divided into eight chapters, on CD 2.
In August 2022, NIGHTWISH announced the addition of bassist Jukka Koskinen (WINTERSUN) as an official member of the band. Koskinen, who made his live debut with NIGHTWISH in May 2021 at the band's two interactive experiences, had spent the last year touring with NIGHTWISH as a session musician.
In November 2022, Floor revealed that she was "cancer free" after recently undergoing surgery to have a tumor removed following a breast cancer diagnosis.
Last month, Floor and SABATON drummer Hannes Van Dahl announced that they were expecting their second child. Jansen and Van Dahl already have a six-year-old daughter named Freja, who was born on March 15, 2017.

Cliff diving
Best friend Steveo gn reader (my sisters fav)
You've been living with Steve in the small gross apartment for a few months now, unsurprisingly every day of it has been it's own adventure. Today you had been shaken awake by your best friend for a skate session and now the two of you are on the couch eating pizza and passing the bong back and forth while he rambles on about his favorite stunts so far, "Hey dude what's something you've always wanted to do?" You shrug thinking for a moment, "I wanna go cliff diving together, if you can handle the heights." He props his feet up onto the cluttered coffee table, "fuck it I'm in." You look at him mouth still full of the cheap pizza, "you'll do it?" He nods taking a sip of your sprite, "yeah sure why not, we can go today. Not like we have anything better to do." After you both change into suitable and possibly clean clothes you get in your car and make your way to the spot. A few teenagers are there with the same idea and you observe as they complete the task and climb back up one by one. You look at your best friend, "you ready bro?" He smiles actually looking excited to finally be experiencing this with you, "yeah dude it's about time I actually do it with you instead of just watching." At the count of 3 the two of you sprint to the edge and jump, both yelling upon contact with the cold ocean water. He swims to you and pulls you into a hug as the teenagers cheer, "that was gnarly dude I can see why you like this." When you start climbing back up you smile again, "I'm gonna do a backflip." He high-fives you hyped to see his best friend show off in front of some kids. True to your word you make the jump again and manage to pull off a double backflip, Steve opted for a single front flip which you were proud of considering it was only his second time jumping. "Hell yeah O you're a total badass, I didn't expect that." It warms your heart to see how quickly he got comfortable doing things like this with you. Once back at the top the two of you sit down on a beach towel, "we should do this more often dude! Wanna come back next weekend?" You look over your sunglasses, "Sounds like a plan bro man dude." The two of you crack into laughter and decide to head back for food the morning munchies kicking in. You grin watching him drive back, "thanks Steve this has been a really rad day."

Behind the scene lore, behind the scene lore!!!
I wanna know more about Viktor's life as he grew up with his penpal friend
omg yes yes! so im thinking this up right as i write it but that's okay because i enjoy the tasty prompt!
So there was a tiny bit of his backstory in chapter 9, but not a lot, so i'll try and expand a little bit on that. He lost his mom first, and then his dad just kind of Disappeared, but i honestly can't decide what Exactly happened to him. Like if he just left and never came home because he got into some kind of trouble, or if he'd been planning on leaving Viktor purposefully.
it's a personal headcanon that Viktor looks like his mom, so maybe his dad saw too much of his deceased wife in his face, and couldn't look at him anymore.
I wanna say that Vik found the pen a couple weeks before his dad took off, though. And because the Reader hadn't gotten a hold of the rest of the set yet, it functioned as a normal pen would. He probably used it to learn what he could about machinery, sketching out his designs and concepts on scraps of paper he was able to find.
It's probably only a week or so after being abandoned that the two of them start talking. HC that the Reader is a little bit older than Viktor, either by weeks or months. But at that age, he probably only Kind Of understands how bad things are - like his situation is dire, but until they left him, I wanna say that his parents did a decently okay job at protecting him.
Like yeah, he grew up in desolate poverty, and he was probably surrounded by hardened hearts and violence, but he wasn't directly involved with it. In a sense, they allowed him to have a soft heart that cares about people and the world and animals. He's not blind to what's going on by any means, but I want to say he can still see the good in people to some degree. He's not as jaded.
Really, the pen turns out to be a blessing to him. He could have learned all the stuff that the Reader was helping him with on his own, but it would have taken him a lot longer. He's kind of on his own after his parents are gone, aside from his long distance friend, who helps him learn things quick enough to survive.
In my mind, he gets a job at a weird little repair shop. Once he shows that he has at least some skills and concepts, his employer decides to take a chance on him, and Vik enlists the Reader for help. He figures things out pretty quickly on his own, but he still likes sharing what he does with another person - he's never really had friends his own age, so he gets attached very quickly.
He's definitely worried that they'll leave him, especially in the first couple of months, but as the years pass, he grows more secure about their friendship and trusts that his penpal genuinely cares about him.
His employer probably lets Viktor sleep in the room above the shop in exchange for reduced wages, which is honestly a steal, since he'd kind of just been out on the streets after being abandoned. It's not a big place, literally just a single room with a door and a bed, but it's better than what he had before. He builds a little desk for himself, so he can write and sketch more comfortably. He makes a couple of shelves, over time, and fills them with bits and bobs he's collected.
He and the Reader probably have brainstorming sessions on a regular basis, writing down concepts and nitpicking the details of how something might or might not be possible. Viktor isn't able to get his hands on a lot of the parts necessary to build most of them, but the Reader is. Which is why he recognizes them in their workshop, when they're older and secretly paired together in class.
And the Reader is just so earnestly kind to him, encouraging his interests and hyping him up. He's never really had someone who openly sticks up for him like that, so like I said, he gets attached quickly. I even want to think that he falls in love with the Reader before they fall in love with him. Kind of a puppy love at first, willing to follow them anywhere because they're nice to him, but after getting to know them in person (after figuring out their identity) it morphs into a more serious kind of love: wanting the best for them and wanting them to feel safe and secure, loved, and listened to.
Doesn't stop him from blushing like a schoolboy the first time they kiss him. Viktor.exe has stopped working. We couldn't see it the first time they kissed, because it was dark, and they haven't kissed since - but he's gonna turn into a complete tomato once they start openly being affectionate with each other.
It will take him a little bit to get used to the physical acts of love, but not as long as you'd think. Another personal headcanon is that he's not put off by touching, provided he knows the other person well enough. He's just...awkward about initiating anything. He wants the hug, but he doesn't know how to ask for it, so he'll just stare at his partner looking sad until they somehow gain the ability to read his thoughts.
Bc really, both the Reader and Viktor are still kind of babey in this fic. They're only nineteen. which when you get to be my age, is basically a tall child XD They still have more growing up to do, and i'm honestly contemplating continuing this fic for a while. Working up to their relationship, but then also showing the next couple years of their life. I will need to come up with ideas oof

Hello.  I have survived my Dungeons and Dragons marathon, mostly intact.
Friday started pretty normally with a typical workday.  I didn’t nap at all because I had things to do.  Around five thirty, I left for the game night, stopping at the store on the way for some drinks.
I made it right on time.  Our host had cooked some dinner, so we ate and chatted while we got set up.  We had three one-shot sessions planned, and we intended to keep going as long as we still had the energy.
The first session turned out to take a very long time.  We started around seven, maybe, and it was after midnight when we finished it.  It was entertaining enough, and I felt reasonably comfortable as a player.  Still, our usual games only run about three hours, so I did get a bit tired.  But there was no time to recover afterwards, because I was DMing the second game.
I think I did pretty well as DM.  My session also ran long (they always seem to take longer than expected), but I was satisfied with how everything worked out, and I think the players enjoyed it for the most part.  I must have been hyped up on adrenaline during the game, since it was only after I stopped that I realized how tired and headachey I felt.
Thankfully, I wasn’t the only one who had run out of steam.  We decided to call it there and go home.  It must have been around five-thirty... the sun hadn’t yet risen, but as I drove home, my headache pounding, the sky lightened around me.  I made it home, brushed my teeth, and collapsed into bed.
It actually took me a while to fall asleep.  My head hurt very bad, and the morning light was invading my room.  Eventually I managed it.  I slept until around four pm.
I spent the day today recovering.  The remains of the headache faded after I got up.  I showered, got a sandwich for dinner, and relaxed by myself all night.  I’m starting to feel a little more normal again.
It‘s late now, but I’m afraid I won’t be able to sleep.  I have to try.  I don’t want to see the sunrise again.  I feel fine, I suppose; the D&D marathon was fun while it lasted, but the recovery period was kind of brutal.  I feel like I’ve socialized enough for a whole month.

February 2nd, 2024
I keep swinging back and forth between how incredibly happy I am with my life and how absolutely terrified I am for how fast the future is coming for me.
On the I'm so incredible side (1) I moved abroad as an adult, which has always been a goal of mine (2) I have a bachelors in biology and psychology despite being a horrible student in high school (3) I'm working on publishing a study I lead as an undergraduate (4) I'm living in Germany, which has always been a goal on my list (5) I'm doing a masters in neuropsychology, a field I've been talking about since I was 14 (6)I'm going to have a masters at 23, which is insane (7) Even with taking a gap year after my masters, I'm on track to do a PhD before 30, which is insane.
On the !!!! side (1) I don't want to live in the US but it's looking like my best option for job prospects for my gap year (2) What if I do my PhD and I don't get a job (3) What if I do a PhD and all the jobs I can do suck but now I've invested years of my life into it (4) If T and I ever want to live together, get married etc. we have to get our lives on the same page in the near future, oh no (5) I'm going to have my fucking masters in like 6 months and I keep seeing job postings in my field that pay ~40,000 in big cities.
I've spent all of today intermediately panicking and hyping myself up in the mirror. I have also done nothing productive, although I did make a to do list for myself tomorrow and a grocery list because I don't have any food for breakfast and I know I'll need to get groceries when I wake up tomorrow and I'll be too hungry to meal plan properly. If I did things as much as I panick about doing them I would have no more to do lists. To calm myself down I made a plan for what I will do starting August. I then went to the kitchen for a midnight snack and found authentic Australian and german American talking to each other. I joined in, we had a fun gossip session. Third culture Australian heard us from his room and came to check out the noise, low key killed the conversation but that's alright because I needed to sleep anyway. Made a mistake, caved and bought bloons tower defence. Stayed up until 4am playing it and painting my nails red with little pink hearts.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Preview - A Lengthy Hands-On Session - Game Informer

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Preview - A Lengthy Hands-On Session - Game Informer
Tumblr media
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League exists at a strange intersection of gaming hype. On the one hand, obviously, we are and should be excited for Rocksteady’s return to the Arkham Universe that it popularized through some of the greatest superhero games of all time. Obviously. But on the other hand, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League deviates from so many of the conventions that made Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight so beloved. And so many of those conventions that Kill the Justice League embraces – such as a team-based, co-op infrastructure, and a live-service-inspired post-launch content plan – have crashed and burned in other superhero games, most notably Crystal Dynamic’s ill-fated 2020 Avengers title.
These factors come together to make it so I, quite frankly, don’t know how I should feel about this game. So when Warner Bros. and Rocksteady invited me to Burbank, California, to spend a day playing the game and talking to the developers, I jumped at the chance to finally piece together how much hype I should or shouldn’t feel for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League now that it’s less than a month from launch.
The Setup
Tumblr media
Dawn of Justice
Much like its predecessors, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League gives you a cinematic adventure within Rocksteady’s DC Universe. Five years after Arkham Knight’s events, the Justice League – including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and presumably others – has been keeping order on the planet. Those five years were clearly eventful, as we now have a whole suite of heroes instead of just Batman, but we don’t have a game to explain all of those moments.
Instead, players can find clues about the state of the world since Arkham Knight. “There are a few different avenues that the kind of space between the two games is filled in,” production manager Jack Hackett says. “Some are in major setpiece moments during the story where details are revealed or otherwise explained. There are also a whole bunch of collectibles and details in the city which give you further information. I think, for the really dedicated story fans of the Arkham Universe, they’ll spend some time when the game’s out unpacking exactly what went on for each character. I think you’re also going to find out what happened to some characters you might not expect to pop up in this game again, but there are some pretty deep cuts from the Arkhamverse that will pop up and say hello.”
When I ask Hackett about the 100-percent ending of Arkham Knight, he tells me it is considered canon and will play a role in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. “It did set up something, didn’t it?” he says with a chuckle. “I won’t say anything more than the word ‘yes.’ But you’ll know the canon ending of Arkham Knight once you’ve played Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.”
Tumblr media
Regardless of the events of Arkham Knight’s ending and everything involving Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Justice League in the time since, the order the world had experienced thanks to the superhero team comes to a screeching halt when Brainiac invades Metropolis and enslaves much of humanity, including several members of the Justice League.
Naturally, it’s up to the Suicide Squad, comprised of detained criminals, to save the day. Amanda Waller masterfully manipulates them (by planting a remote-denotation explosive device in each of their heads) to get them to take on this daunting task. After an appropriately funny introductory cutscene, the adventure opens up. Metropolis plays on the strengths of Rocksteady by delivering a vertical open world. However, this time, the city is bigger than ever before; this is the largest city the studio has ever created, and you have four unique traversal styles to help you get through it.
Single-Player
Tumblr media
Play the Hits
Going into each gameplay session, you choose which member of Task Force X you want to control. At launch, players can control Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang. Each character plays completely unique, and even if it doesn’t make sense for them to engage in the extreme vertical traversal required for this game, they give them an in-universe reason for it. For example, King Shark’s strength and leaping ability give him natural ways to quickly move through Metropolis with little loss of momentum, but what about humans like Deadshot, Harley, and Boomerang?
Early on, a visit to the vacant Hall of Justice allows Task Force X to ransack some gadgets from the now mind-controlled heroes. Boomerang grabs Doctor Sivana’s Speed Force Gauntlet that lets him fly through the air in super-speed bursts, while Harley grabs a grappling hook and Bat-Drone to serve as a grappling point, and Deadshot snags Gizmo’s jetpack.
Tumblr media
“When we first start, we want to see what’s fun in traversing the space of something like Metropolis; it’s not just horizontal travel, it’s very vertical as well,” advanced combat designer Noel Chamberlain says. “We wanted to think of four different ways of achieving this – four very unique traversal styles – and then how would these characters then do it. It’s kind of a mix of both the kind of gameplay side and what the player is doing mechanically and then also being able to give a very rich narrative reason that fits the character. Like, Boomerang stealing his version of the traversal feels very on-brand for him.”
In this opening section, which I experienced in single-player, I choose Deadshot. His arsenal of weapons allows him to fight at mid or long-range, with an automatic and sniper rifle at his disposal. I use his jetpack to reach the roof of the building and get a good view of what Brainiac has done to the city. The devastation is evident, and clearly not what the members of the Force thought they signed up for. After Captain Boomerang yells at Waller for sending them into a warzone, an unphased Waller congratulates them for being the first to make it into Metropolis alive.
Task Force X’s first mission is to activate a transponder in the middle of the city. I fly off the roof and over to the transponder. Of course, it can’t be that easy; Brainiac’s forces beam in, surrounding the Squad. Using Deadshot’s automatic rifle, I pick off a few, then fly up to a rooftop with his jetpack for some close-range combat. This is where Rocksteady has shined in the past – after all, it’s not like Batman was spending too much time blowing enemies away with a rifle in the Arkham games – but don’t expect the Arkham-style Freeflow Combat.
Tumblr media
According to Rocksteady, this shift resulted from looking at how the characters of Task Force X should control instead of what the developer has specialized in through its past games. “Freeflow, as a combat style, worked really well for Batman because he’s tactical; he’s thinking, he’s always got the solution, he’s the master martial artist,” Hackett says. “For the combat in [Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League] to match the personalities and tactics – or lack thereof – of the Squad, it has to feel really different. It has to be bombastic. It has to be fast-paced. It has to be kind of mad. It has to be loud and vivid. The game is so bright and colorful, and the abilities of the Squad are colorful; that wouldn’t have suited Batman any more than the Batman combat would have necessarily suited the Squad. We tried to figure out what we think suits the way those characters would move, the way they would fight, the way they would engage enemies, and then drive design from there.”
When you’re up close, you can pull off melee attacks, though they’re much more straightforward action-oriented than the thoughtful combat of the Arkham Freeflow Combat. When enemies exist in various damage states, you can also pull off a Critical Counter or drain them of their shields. After clearing one rooftop, I’m off to the next using Deadshot’s jetpack. This time, Captain Boomerang is already there, pulling his weight; when you play single-player, the A.I. controls your teammates. The pacing is way more frantic than a typical Arkham encounter, making this feel decidedly different and more fitting for a Suicide Squad game despite taking place in the same universe as those solo Batman games.
Deadshot’s jetpack is useful for getting from one area to the next – and it feels good doing so – but my favorite thing to do with it is to hover over the battlefield and pick off enemies with his rifle. After clearing a few rooftops in this fashion, the team is grabbed by a mysterious green force. After being dragged around the city, Green Lantern, clearly corrupted by Brainiac, appears, issuing a stern warning to Task Force X. The brainwashed hero gives them a tour of Metropolis’ destruction, but before he can finish Harley, Deadshot, and crew off, The Flash shows up to confront Green Lantern, and the powerful hero-turned-villain pursues his old teammate instead. Sadly, just as the heroes of the Justice League started showing up and I started getting invested in the on-screen action, my single-player session came to a close.
Multiplayer
Tumblr media
Plays Well With Others
Next up, I load into a lobby with a full four-player team to play through parts of Chapter 3. I select Harley for this session. While I wait for others to load in, I check out the cosmetics available to me. The Arkham straight jacket I saw her sporting in Chapter 1 is available, but so is something that veers closer to her more modern look, with colored pigtails, bright eyeshadow, and a red, white, and blue aesthetic.
We load into a LexCorp base, where the team is suiting up and getting briefed on the next mission. Since this is a bit later in the story, I don’t know what happened with The Flash/Green Lantern showdown teased in my Chapter 1 encounter. This time around, the team is tasked with tracking down Poison Ivy, which puts a pep in Harley’s step. Harley’s traversal feels completely distinct from the more militaristic Deadshot. Using the grappling hook and Bat-Drone she lifted from the Hall of Justice, she can swing through Metropolis, using the Bat-Drone as her anchor. However, she can only latch onto the drone once per surface touch, so you need to be careful with how you use your swings. After a brief awkward period where my brain immediately tried to use my muscle memory from the swinging in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, I finally got the hang of how to effectively swing around town using Harley.
Tumblr media
I start flowing naturally as I move from one area to the next, clicking the stick as I land to slide, launching upwards and into Harley’s next swing, then holding the X button to overshoot the Bat-Drone and catapult through the air into the next swing. It’s not on the level of the gold standard set by Spider-Man’s swinging – or even the jetpacking of Deadshot in this very game – but it feels good. En route to the marker where the Poison Ivy mission begins, we take on a few groups of enemies and complete some world objectives, like destroying some stationary targets. Harley has a pistol, as well as her trademark bat, which can be used when things get up close and personal. I miss Deadshot’s ability to hover over the battlefield, but she can definitely handle herself well in the heat of a fight; hopefully, I can find a better way to integrate her traversal skills into battle as I get more time with her. I also learned about a Suicide Strike and an Ultimate ability of sorts, two powerful moves that operate on cooldowns. These definitely come in handy over the course of the many battle encounters during my session.
Once we reach Ivy’s location, we get a brief cutscene and a reveal that Ivy isn’t quite what Harley was expecting. A far cry from her appearance in the Arkham games, Ivy emerges from a plant in the form of a little girl. Ivy tells a bit about what she’s been up to and then agrees to help Task Force X to fight the aliens. Her plan is to grow her plants to release toxic clouds into the aliens’ internal organs, but it’ll take a little time. You guessed it: It’s up to the Squad to protect the points of interest. Ivy fulfills her end of the deal, but then the Squad needs to fulfill their mission and bring her in. While Rick Flag is en route, the team debates the merits of capturing a little girl, and without spoiling anything, we learn a revelation about something one of the characters did in the past. After that discovery, Flag arrives and convinces Ivy to come with him.
Tumblr media
After completion of the mission, the team is greeted with a mission complete screen that tells the top performer of the Squad as well as other experience earned through modifiers like difficulty level, gear and talents equipped, lives remaining, and having each player controlling a different character (yes, you can have duplicate characters through multiplayer). I also earn a new Legendary grenade: the Slot Machine. This cluster explosive detonates with all the pizazz of a cheap casino, including a giant gold-plated “777” as the secondary bombs pop out. The only problem is you sacrifice the initial pop to fuel the cluster portion of the bombs; the initial hit does 0 damage, while the subsequent blasts are more devastating. It also rewards more credits.
The team tells me that the customization and loadout selection for the characters is far more than skin-deep, as you can build extremely versatile builds or highly specialized characters depending on how you want to play. Rocksteady walks me through a few examples that impact how Harley can be catered to how you play, including some early Talents that boost melee knockback distance or encourage you to stay airborne using Harley’s Bat-Drone by reducing the damage you take while flying around. The Talents you can select even tell you the kinds of playstyles they cater to in order to help you pick the most impactful for what you want to accomplish. Rocksteady also recommends I equip a gun called Leg Day, which grants extra XP from enemy kills, does extra damage to Brutes, and deals critical damage from shooting enemies in the legs, trade my bat for a hammer called Uppercut that sends enemies flying in slow motion, and throw on a shield mod called Hoarder, which gives you extra shield for all ammo you pick up. The way you build your character feels flexible and accommodating, but I want more time to experiment before I truly declare them successful in their meaningful customization endeavors.
Tumblr media
The next mission involves finding Lex Luthor, who thankfully uses Brainiac tech in his suit, so he’s easy to track. On the way to the last network terminal Luthor accesses, I hear a familiar voice: Riddler. He’s not there, but his presence is felt through a Rocksteady staple. That’s right, Riddler trophies are back! I don’t know how much they’re integrated into the story or exactly how involved solving his puzzles will be – the only one I give a shot is a traversal challenge where I need to swing through some AR hoops in the world on a timer – but I’m enticed to dive back into that quest when I’m not in a hurry.
After helping our tech expert Hack to, well, hack into the terminal through another position-defense sequence, we find the location of Lex and the mission comes to a close. After a couple more missions, we encounter The Flash once again. This time, he’s not quite looking like himself; he’s been corrupted by Brainiac, so clearly, some stuff has happened since we saw him confront Green Lantern. I won’t spoil the other stuff going on in the story, but it’s safe to say that Rocksteady isn’t pulling any punches.
Tumblr media
The next mission requires me to destroy a massive stationary cannon by depositing Terminaut bits and attacking its weak spot, while the next one has me working with the team to figure out some way to defeat The Flash by decoupling him from his Speed Force abilities. However, I start to feel a sense of sameness from many of the missions. Sure, each of them has a distinct dressing, and the narrative reasons are varied, but many of the ones I played in Chapter 1 and Chapter 3 boil down to going to an area and defeating all the enemies or defending a location against hordes of aliens. The one that felt most distinct was the aforementioned giant cannon mission, but even that carried many of the same tenets. I’m giving the benefit of the doubt to Rocksteady that the mission diversity will truly open up once the story ramps up more, but I’ll be disappointed if this is the full breadth of what we’re getting in the final game.
Thankfully, my play session culminates in showing me why the game carries the name that it does: It’s time to fight The Flash. In the previous mission, we learned how to disrupt his trademark speed, and now it’s time to put it to use. As long as your Decoupler is charged (which is done by countering his incoming attacks), you can avoid being picked apart by the speed demon. The Flash bounces around the battlefield, evading any and all shots fired his way, but after a while, he stops to charge up. After blasting him in his stationary moment, he admits he’s surprised by the Squad but says he has some surprises of his own. That surprise, it turns out, is speeding around in circles to form tornadoes that hurtle toward Task Force X. Now, you must contend with dodging tornadoes and keeping your Decoupler charged.
After a long and chaotic battle, I finally emerged victorious. Again, I won’t be spoiling what happens next, but I came out of the battle feeling relieved by the exciting boss fight. This was the kind of mission I was hoping for after the long collection of similar encounters. I really hope that as the campaign goes on, there are more of these kinds of fights and less of the “defeat all enemies on point A” or “defend point B” variety of missions.
Post-launch
Tumblr media
Coming Attractions
As I mentioned earlier, you can play as Harley, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang at launch, but Rocksteady has ambitious plans for how it’s supporting Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League following its initial release. After launch, players can expect additional cosmetics added to the title, but more importantly, additional playable characters will join Task Force X.
“After the main launch of the game, we’ll bring out additional seasonal content post-launch, which will bring new missions and new story,” Hackett says. “As part of completing those missions and stories, you will add those characters to the Squad; you’ll effectively recruit them as part of that content. That content will be completely free. No charge for the character content. You’ll be able to play, then one day, you log in, and there’ll be new stuff to do. You’ll do that stuff, and hey, now you’ve got that character. Now, you can keep playing with that character in future [content]. I think it’s something that people will get excited about.”
While Harley and Deadshot are among the most iconic members of the team, the Suicide Squad has featured tens of different characters over its many iterations, giving Rocksteady a ton of characters to choose from with its post-launch releases. “The characters, for us, are very important,” Chamberlain says. “It’s kind of the narrative of themselves, but also, how does that translate to gameplay? What is their traversal? What is their combat like? And I think continuing the game post-launch really gives us an opportunity to bring unique experiences to players to allow us to expand on the four characters in very unique ways and kind of subvert expectations and bring freshness back into the world of Metropolis and allow players to experience something brand new than just the four core characters.”
Tumblr media
Rocksteady already knows some of the characters it’s including in the game post-launch, but it’s not spilling any of that information now. In fact, the team is excited to peruse the internet’s many fan theories. “I’m looking forward to the speculation from players because the Suicide Squad and DC villains, in general, are such a wide church, and there are so many fun choices, and I know we will get endless suggestions for this person’s favorite character, that person’s favorite character,” Hackett says. “We’ve put a lot of work already, and we will continue to work on making sure these characters aren’t going to be reskins. They’re going to be unique. They’re going to feel different, they’re going to move differently; again, that kind of finding the fun in how each character moves that suits their personality, it’s something that’s really important to us for this game. I think it’s the most exciting and unique gameplay element in many ways.”
With all the talk of so much substantial post-launch content being free, one key anxiety many players have with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is that the monetization will be overly aggressive to the point of impacting the fun players can have without dropping extra cash on the premium title. When I asked the team about this, they used it as a way to hopefully clear the air a little. “There will be completely optional cosmetic purchases for players who want to go down that route,” Hackett says. “I think the Squad is a really fun group where we can create really unique cosmetics for players to enjoy. I wouldn’t want to cut content off from players behind a charge like that because I think it’s a space for players to come in, play, and enjoy, first and foremost. Then, you know, if you want to buy some cool cosmetics to show off to your friends, that’s going to be available to you.”
Emerging from my hands-on session, I feel much more confident in Rocksteady’s long-awaited follow-up to its critically acclaimed Arkham series, but I still have several questions. But even with those hesitations surrounding post-launch support, game structure, and monetization efforts, I now have February 2 circled on my calendar, as my overwhelming curiosity and anxiety have turned mostly to anticipation.

SEASON THREE.
Jesse emerges from rehab changed by Jane Margolis's death. "I'm the bad guy," he tells Walt, who has quite a different self-image: "I am not a criminal," Walt tells Gustavo Fring, declining the businessman's offer of $3 million to cook meth for three months.
Using help from Saul Goodman, Jesse manages to buy his house back from his parents, who paid several hundred thousand dollars to reform the house. Upon learning that Jesse is cooking on his own, Gus purchases meth from Jesse and gives half the money to Walt to compel him back into the business. When Walt resurfaces to return the money, Gus unveils a state-of-the-art superlab he's constructed beneath an industrial laundromat.
Walt's brother-in-law, Hank manages to track down the RV and calls Walt to ask if Jesse had an RV. Walt arranges to have the vehicle demolished at a junkyard. Badger tips off Jesse, who races to stop Walt, and, unbeknownst to him, Hank follows. While Walt and Jesse huddle inside the RV, Saul's secretary, impersonating a police officer, tells Hank that Marie (Hank's wife) has been in an accident. Hank leaves the junkyard, and by time he realizes he's been fooled, the RV is destroyed.
Hank, infuriated by the fact that Jesse supposedly knows who his wife is, brutally attacks Jesse in retaliation and gets suspended from the DEA. In the hospital, Jesse plots legal action against Hank. To placate Jesse, Walt convinces Gus to fire Gale (an assistant Walt was temporarily cooking with) and hire Jesse instead.
Walt requests a meeting with Gus and leaves with a $15 million meth production deal and a guarantee of his family's safety.
Walt's negotiations coincide with Jesse's increasing dissatisfaction with Gus's operation. Yearning to return to his "outlaw" days, Jesse skims excess meth at the superlab. Badger and Skinny Pete attend Jesse's NA sessions, where they hype the "blue stuff" as a sales tactic. Jesse hypes Blue Sky to a recovering addict named Andrea (who he later becomes romantically involved with) and discovers that two rival dealers directed her pre-teen brother to kill Jesse's friend, Combo.
Jesse wants to poison the dealers to avenge Combo, but him and Walt discover that the dealers actually work for Gus. Jesse wants to kill them anyway, despite Walt's warnings.
Mike (who is Gus' head of security and a hitman) visits Walt and explains how Jesse is compromising the operation and warns Walt that if anything goes south, he is not going to hesitate in "taking a full measure." Walt, fearing for Jesse's life, tips off Gus who forces Jesse to make peace on the condition the dealers no longer use children in their operation.
Later that evening, police discover the murdered body of Andrea's brother. Jesse drives to the rival dealers' corner. Just as Jesse and the dealers draw their guns, Walt runs over the dealers with his car. One dies on impact and Walt shoots the other dead. Walt tells Jesse to run.
Walt's intervention infuriates Gus, who reinstates Gale as Walt's assistant while he hunts down Jesse. Walt meets secretly with Jesse to explain his suspicion that Gus plans to kill them once Gale learns to cook Blue Sky. Walt reasons that he has leverage only if he alone can produce their special formula. They must kill Gale. "I can't do it, Mr. White," says Jesse, not wishing to kill an innocent person.
Walt agrees to kill Gale himself, but before he can act, Mike escorts him to the superlab for an execution. Appearing desperate, Walt offers to give Jesse up, but says he travels around, so he'll need to call him. "They've got me at the laundry, and they're going to kill me," Walt tells Jesse over the phone. "Do it now!" Mike draws his guns. "You might want to hold off," Walt says defiantly. "Your boss is going to need me."
Jesse arrives at Gale's apartment and draws his gun. "You don't have to do this," Gale pleads. Jesse, his eyes tearing, pulls the trigger.

Chantilly, VA Maternity Photos
To say this session was a dream is an understatement. Momma reached out to me about a month ago wanting a session in two weeks. Thankfully I had the date she wanted available, and she booked right away! When we started planning her Chantilly maternity photo session, mom mentioned to me that none of my dresses fit her vision so she ended up providing her own dress (again totally ok for clients to do). Come to find out, what she wanted to wear was the most beautiful fluffy robe that looked absolutely amazing on her! Funny thing is, I had been eyeing beautiful tulle robes like hers for a while but decided to wait until I could get into a studio space to buy them for my clients. But boy did she show me that these robes can be rocked on location too! With the addition of a body suit for modesty, mom looked absolutely stunning during her session at Ellanor C. Lawrence Park!
Tumblr media
I probably squealed about a million times during her maternity session because I was so excited about how beautiful she looked and how gorgeous the photos were turning out haha! Have I mentioned that I'm your personal hype girl during your session? I hope every mom feels that energy while I'm taking their photos because boy do I love my job!
Tumblr media
Then mom also mentioned that she had a second outfit! Thankfully we had plenty of time to accommodate a second outfit, and she just wanted a few in that outfit anyway. Let me tell you, GODDESS VIBES! So we took what remaining light we had and made some more magic in a few more spots at E.C. Lawrence! It was such a pleasure being surprised by this mom's outfit choices! And as always, I love getting to chat with moms as we are going about the session. Getting to know you and your story is all part of our journey together, and it is one of my favorite parts, besides helping you look and feel like a million bucks of course!

Bitcoin Day Trading Tips
Introduction
Day traders are a breed of investors who think they can make money by trading one asset, like bitcoin, for another in minutes. But don't let the word "day" fool you: Even though the traditional market closes at 4 p.m., trading can take all day long—and it's possible to lose money even if your strategy is sound. Still, many people have found success with this method of investing over time; here are some tips for making it happen for yourself:
Don't get emotional.
In the world of cryptocurrency, there are a lot of emotions involved. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement and hype surrounding Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, but it's also important not to let your emotions dictate your trade. A good rule of thumb is that if you're feeling like "I'm going to buy this coin," then don't do it! If you're thinking about selling at $10 or $20 when everyone else is still saying "Buy!" then don't sell just yet—you'll be glad when those prices drop down again later on (and trust me: they will).
The most important thing when trading Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency for long-term gains is patience; never try too hard at timing the market because there will always be another opportunity coming around the corner.
 Analyze the market.
A good way to start your day trading is by analyzing the market. You can do this by looking at past prices and seeing if there have been any trends. For example, if you see a long-term uptrend in Bitcoin’s price, then it’s likely that we will continue to see this trend going forward. However, if you notice short term dips or spikes followed by long periods of flatness (or even downtrends), then these could indicate potential opportunities for profit as well as threats to your investment portfolio because they may mean that there are more people selling than buying Bitcoin right now!
Another way to analyze the market is through technical analysis; however this method requires some knowledge about how these charts work so I won't go into detail here but feel free to check out some resources online such as Trading Strategy Guide or Investopedia's articles on Technical Analysis.
Understand the volatility of bitcoin.
Bitcoin is volatile. It’s not a stable investment and should not be considered as such. It is also not a safe investment, as there have been many instances of bitcoin losing value in a short time period. In addition to this, it has also been known for having fluctuations in price that are unpredictable and can cause you to lose money if you trade too early or too late on an exchange platform like Coinbase (or other exchanges).
So why would anyone want to buy bitcoins? Well for one thing, they could be used as an alternative currency outside of mainstream banking systems which helps people keep more money in their pockets instead of having everything tied up into fiat currency where banks control all access points into society’s financial system!
Set targets and stop-losses from the start.
You should set targets and stop-losses before you start trading. Stop-loss is a way to limit your losses. A target is the price you want to reach by a certain time, like in 7 days or 3 months. This will help you understand how much money it will take for you to reach your goal, so that if something unexpected happens during this period (like getting sick), then at least there's still some profit left over from previous trades that can cover any losses without having negative effects on future ones!
Stick to your plan
Stick to your plan.
Don't let emotions get in the way     when it comes to your trading strategy. If you're feeling nervous, don't     let that affect how you make decisions and trade accordingly; instead of     trying to control yourself, focus on staying calm and collected throughout     each day's trading session.
Don't panic sell when things     aren't going as planned or if there are some negative news stories     circulating about Bitcoin (e.g., JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon saying he     wouldn't touch cryptocurrency). Instead of selling all at once, wait for     other traders who are also selling at similar prices before doing so     too—this will help keep the price from falling too low quickly and make     sure that someone else isn’t buying up all available bitcoins while they     still have some money left over!
Diversify your trades.
When you're first starting out, it's important to diversify your portfolio. This means that you should have different types of trades in place and that they should be spread across many different coins. For example, if you want to buy a coin but don't know what its price will do over time, then it's best not to put all your eggs in one basket (i.e., buy only one coin). Instead, it might be better for you if there were multiple coins with varying prices so that if one goes up or down more than others, then there's still another option available for purchase at the same time as the first investment did go down too much or increase too much respectively). On top of this idea comes another key point: diversifying does not mean spreading yourself thin by trying each individual project out on its own merit but instead looking at how things fit together as part of an overall strategy where each project supports other projects' success rather than vice versa - which leads us back again...
Contemplate going short.
Shorting bitcoin is the practice of selling a digital currency at a lower price than you paid for it. It's an investment strategy that can be used to profit from falling prices, but there are risks involved as well.
To short bitcoin:
Buy bitcoins on an exchange that     allows shorting (such as Coinbase or Kraken) and transfer them to your own     wallet. Use some of those funds to buy more bitcoin if necessary, but     don't go too far over your budget in case something goes wrong during this     process—your account will lock until all available funds are withdrawn by     the exchange before you can trade again!
Deposit enough money into your new     account so that when the price falls below where you want it set at, which     will happen very quickly if done correctly—just wait patiently until then!
Buy lots of cheap coins with these     newly purchased coins and sell them off later when they're worth much more     than what they cost now due to increased demand due either directly or     indirectly due how many people who want cheap coins right now are willing     pay top dollar because they know something better is coming soon."

Use technical analysis.
Technical analysis is the study of historical market data to predict future price movements. It can be used by both short and long-term traders, but it's especially valuable for those with a longer time horizon.
If you've ever watched an episode of "Trading Spaces," then you know how much work goes into building a house from scratch. And if that sounds like your idea of fun, then consider these three reasons why technical analysis could help make your cryptocurrency trading career successful:
Technical analysis helps identify trends, patterns and make predictions about where prices are headed over the next few weeks or months—and whether or not they'll go up or down at any given point in time (or even year).
Using this method allows traders to get ahead of others who may be less experienced than themselves when it comes down making decisions based solely on sentiment alone; instead they'll use historical data points along with expert advice from other experts within their network who have already succeeded in making money using this technique successfully before them."
Day trading isn't easy if you don't know what you're doing, but you can learn how to be successful at it with these bitcoin day trading tips.
Day trading isn't easy if you don't know what you're doing, but it can be done. You shouldn't go into day trading without a plan and a strategy for success. You need to know your risk tolerance, as well as how much time and money you want to invest in the trade. Day trading is not easy; there are many variables that can affect your decision on whether or not to take a position in an asset at any given moment.
There are also other factors that could affect the outcome of any given trade: the price movement of other assets around the same time frame (for example, if bitcoin is up while gold is down), news about regulation changes or other developments related directly or indirectly related with crypto currencies like Bitcoin itself...etc...
Conclusion
Day trading is a risky business, but with these tips and tricks, you can learn how to minimize the risks and maximize your profits. The key is to know what you're doing before taking any action.

Well Done Mr Goal Scorer
You tease with Mason after an eventful day.
Today started out just like any other day. You and Mason woke up early so you could both have a slow morning together, a habit that you both had been trying hard to establish. You kissed him goodbye as he went for his light pre-match training session before meeting him again in the late afternoon for a small lunch in between your brand meetings and to wish him good luck since you couldn’t make it to the game in person tonight.
You expected lunch to be a quiet affair where you could just enjoy your own company, but you spent most of it comforting an upset Mason and convincing him that his beloved Chelsea would survive this horrible period. Your boyfriend very much felt like Chelsea couldn’t catch a break recently due to a series of bad luck, so you took it upon yourself to spend tonight making him feel better.
After sending your ritual good luck text to Mason, you set to work at making your living room a place of absolute relaxation for your boyfriend. You had stopped at Tesco on the way home and bought an unreasonable amount of junk food for the two of you to, despite Mason’s in-season diet. You planned on having a movie night with him. Simple but effective. The two of you would get to spend time together watching movies you both enjoyed and nights like that usually ended with slow, lazy sex on the sofa, so who was gonna complain.
But when Mason scored his goal you knew tonight was gonna take a different direction. Instead of the moppy boyfriend you had earlier you were gonna have an incredibly cocky goal scoring boyfriend who was hyped on adrenaline.
So that’s how you ended up sitting on the sofa flicking through Netflix in a black robe hidden under a blanket in an attempt to conceal the surprise you had now planned.
You heard the front door open and your boyfriend take off his coat and leave his kit bag in the hall way. Your cockapoo puppy Toby leaped from his spot on your knee to go and great his daddy. You heard Mason greet him in his usual energetic manner and you couldn’t help but laugh because you didn’t know who had more energy; your 10 month old pup or your 23 year old boyfriend.
Mason eventually made his way into you and jumped over the back of the sofa to give you a hug and a kiss. After a series of kisses being placed all over your face your pushed him away and smiled at him. ‘Someone’s happy. Anything exciting happen?’ Mason looked at you in disbelief as his smile dropped. He thought you watched the match and therefore he thought you seen his goal.
Your plan was working. You were gonna pretend to have not watched the match to see how far you could push Mason. Your hopes were for this to end in the bedroom with an over cocky, dominate boyfriend. So far it was working.
You focused on keeping a straight face as your began your lie. ‘Oh no I missed it, my mum called and I ended up on the phone to her for a while and then I decided that I wanted a pamper night so I had a nice longer shower, I shaved, exfoliated, I done my in-depth skincare and now I’m here on the sofa about to watch The Notebook. Chill night.’
‘So you didn’t watch my game?’ Mason breathed out. ‘No sorry Mase, I didn’t realise the time until the game was over. Besides you were only playing Norwich so wasn’t really an important game.’ It was taking all your energy to keep your face straight so your avoided eye contact and kept petting Toby who was curled up between his parents.
‘Seriously? Y/N, are you actually being serious? You knew how upset I was earlier and how I wanted this game to go well so we could prove to fans tha-’
You cut him off his rant by smashing your lips on his and using your hand that now rested on the back of his head to push him closer to you. ‘Well done Mr Goal scorer.’ You teased as you punctuated every word with a kiss.
Mason pulled away from you with a small laugh as he ran his hand up and down the material of your robe. ‘You are a menace.’ He joked as he pulled you into him again. Your kissed deepened, although you couldn’t get too close as your dog was still seated between the two of you.
You pulled away from Mason and kept your hands pressed against his chest to ensure that he stayed at arms length and didn’t try to get you to stay on the sofa with him. You got yourself out from under the blanket and stood in front of him with a smirk glued on your face. ‘Y/N what are you doing?’ Mason asked almost in frustration.
‘I think the Man of the Match deserves a reward don’t you?’ You said trying to be as seductive as possible as you slowly untied your robe to reveal a royal blue lace bra and matching thong. You knew what this set done to Mason. You hadn’t wore it since the night of the Club World Cup and it was safe to say you could hardly walk the next day.
Mason’s eyes widened and you could see his adam’s apple bob in his throat and him subtly move his hands to cover Toby’s eyes. You started to back away from him and before he could speak you got your words out. ‘I bought a can of whipped cream earlier, I’ll meet you upstairs.’

vinnie hacker x fem!reader
Word Count: 1441, slightly edited
WARNING: angsty, vinnie’s villain era, language, and that’s all i think.
---------
Y/n groaned, roaming through the fair in search of her best friend. “Bitch, where the hell are you?” She spoke loudly into the speaker of her phone, hoping Y/bff/n would be able to hear her over the loud chatter and ringing coming from the carny games.
“I’m by the Ferris wheel.”
“Which one? There’s two.”
“The one by the carousel. There’s like a funnel cake and pretzel stand across from it.”
“Damn, you’re that far?” Y/n sighed, “I’m on my way.” She hung up the phone and made her way to the other side of the fair. After a few minutes—which felt more like an hour—Y/n finally made it to the Ferris wheel where Y/bff/n stood, munching on a salted pretzel.
Once their eyes met, they both squealed in excitement. “Hey, B!” Y/bff/n said, taking another bite of her pretzel. “Don’t you look delicious, tonight? Give the people a spin.” Y/n did as she order, allowing the girl to hype her up.
“Right back at you, babes.”
“So, whatcha’ wanna do? Hit the teacups? Get a pretzel? What’s the move?”
Y/n shook her head. “I don’t eat carbs,” she said jokingly, looking at her friend as if she was insane. “Besides, I just walked a mile to get here and that’s not even including the walk from the parking lot to the gate. Let’s just chill for a minute and relax.”
Y/bff/n nodded, and the two girls proceeded to wander around the fair aimlessly. As she continued to chew on her pretzel, she noticed a particular boy absent from Y/n’s side. With furrowed brows, she asked the million-dollar question. “Where’s Vinnie?”
“He’s sick,” Y/n said. “He told me he ate an egg sandwich from a gas station, and he’s been puking non-stop.”
“He’s sick…again?” Y/bff/n busted out laughing. “Y/n, this is the fifth time he’s canceled plans with you because he’s sick. Either he’s got a really fucked up immune system or he’s doing this shit on purpose.”
“No…Vinnie wouldn’t do that.”
“You don’t know that,” Y/bff/n replied, “you two have only been talking for a month or so. You’re still in the process of getting to know him.” Whether she liked it or not, Y/n knew her best friend was right. As much as she tried to convince herself otherwise, she barely knew anything about Vinnie. He was like a complete mystery, a case waiting to be solved. And him canceling all their plans, their dates, and hang-out sessions…just made her question if there was something more at play here.
Y/n groaned, “I guess you’re right. I mean, it is a little weird that lately every time we’re supposed to hang out he gets sick. It was understandable the first two times, but now it just feels like…he’s doing it on purpose. Like he’s trying to hide something from me?”
“Have you asked him about it or at least snooped around? I know if I was in that situation, I’d be running a whole FBI investigation. Busting through doors, hacking his phone, everything.”
“I get what you’re saying, but I don’t wanna be that girl.”
All of a sudden, Y/bff/n stopped walking. Y/n hadn’t noticed until she didn’t get a response from the girl. As she looked back, she noticed Y/bff/n squinting her eyes, looking off into the distance. “What? What is it?” Y/n asked, wondering what had her friend so shook.
“I think I’m seeing things.”
“What?”
Y/bff/n pointed straight ahead, slowly shaking her head. “That’s not who I think it is, right?” As curiosity struck Y/n, she looked to where her best friend was pointing, her eyes landing on the cotton candy stand. At first, Y/n didn’t know who the hell her friend was talking about, but as her eyes scoured around, they landed on the very person Y/n didn’t expect to see. There leaning against the counter of the stand was none other than Vinnie.
“You’re joking.” Y/n muttered, trying her damnedest to convince herself that he wasn’t real. But if Y/bff/n could see him, then that meant it wasn’t just her imagination. That was definitely Vinnie…looking ever so healthy.
“Isn’t he supposed to be sick?” Y/bff/n said, attitude riddled throughout her tone. “He don’t look sick to me.”
Y/n huffed, “That’s because he’s not.” Without hesitation, the girl stomped over to the boy with Y/bff/n in tow. The two pushed through crowds of people, ignoring the glares and profanities being thrown their way.
“Ain’t this a surprise?” Y/n sneered, Vinnie jumping at the sound of her voice. The second his eyes landed on her, he turned pale. “Looks like you made a speedy recovery, didn’t you?”
“Y/n, what are you doing here? I thought—”
“You thought what? That I wasn’t going to show up just because you couldn’t make it? Sorry to tell you this but my life doesn’t revolve around you, Vinnie. Now the real question is what the hell are you doing here?” You asked, staring daggers at the boy. “Aren’t you supposed to be sick?”
Y/bff/n chuckled, “Don’t look sick to me.”
Vinnie shot her a glare before fixing his gaze back on you. “Y/n I—”
“Hey!” At that moment, Y/n noticed a girl out of the corner of her eye making her way towards her and Vinnie. At first, Y/n thought it was just one of Vinnie’s fans hoping to score a picture, but the second she planted her lips on his cheek, she knew right then and there that this girl was something more. “I didn’t know what kind of slushie to get you, so I just got us both strawberry-banana.” She said, handing him the drink.
“Who the hell is this?” Y/n scoffed, looking the girl up and down.
“Excuse me?” She replied, giving Y/n the same look. “Is there a problem?”
“I don’t know”—Y/n turned to Vinnie—“is there?”
Vinnie sighed, “Walk away, Y/n.”
“You know her?” The girl looked to Vinnie, awaiting his answer.
Y/n smirked, “Oh, he knows me very well. Don’t you, Vinnie?”
“Y/n…walk away.”
“No, I’m not.” Y/n snapped, shoving her finger into his chest. “Not until you tell me who the fuck she is.”
“I’m his girlfriend.”
Y/n felt her jaw drop to the floor as those words left the girl’s mouth. “Girlfriend!?” She and Y/bff/n exclaimed in unison. “What the fuck do you mean girlfriend?” Y/n asked, crossing her arms. “You mean to tell me this whole time while you’ve been talking to me, you’ve had a girlfriend? Is that why you’ve been sick? You were with her the entire time?”
“What is she talking about, Vinnie?”
He looked between Y/n and the girl before his eyes landed on the latter. “Kate, it’s nothing. She’s lying. It’s just a fan trying to break us up.”
“I’m just a fan now?” Y/n snickered, appalled at the boy. “So I was just a fan when you hit me up in my DMs? I was just a fan when you sent me all those dick pics? Huh, was I just a fan then?”
“He did what now?” Kate turned to Vinnie, looking at him as if he’d lost his entire mind. “Dude, are you fucking kidding me? Is that what we’re doing now? We’re just throwing away a year-long relationship?”
Y/bff/n gasped from behind you. “A year?”
“Baby, I swear it didn’t mean anything.” Vinnie whined, grasping at Kate’s waist to pull her into him. Though, she wasn’t having it as she ripped herself from his grip.
“Don’t you fucking touch me!” She shouted. “We’re over! I want nothing to do with you, Vinnie! Absolutely nothing!”
“Kate!” Vinnie reached for her but the second he even stepped a foot near her, she threw her slushie at him, covering his face in the pale pink liquid. It was like an artist splattering paint onto a white canvas. Y/n and Y/bff/n couldn’t help but laugh at the boy.
“Don’t call me, don’t text me, don’t come by my apartment, don’t even think of me. You’re dead to me.” Kate threatened before she marched off, avoiding the confused glances from all the bystanders who witnessed the scene.
As Vinnie wiped the remnants of strawberries out of his eye, he looked at the giggling best friends. “Yeah, yeah…laugh it up. You satisfied with what you did?”
Y/n shrugged before reaching for the boy’s slushie. Removing the lid, she raised it over his head and lathered him in more of the ooey-gooey substance. “Now, I’m satisfied.” She smiled, tossing the cup to the side. “Asshole.” With that, Y/n and Y/bff/n high-fived each other before making their exit, leaving Vinnie to lie in the mess he made.
