Something I want to make sure people know when reading House of Leaves is that you can read it in literally any way you want. If Truant pisses you off, skip his sections, or if you can't make it through Zampano's academic ramblings, skip them.

House of Leaves is not a traditional novel, so we shouldn't treat it as such. It is a labyrinth, and leaving passages unexplored is quite literally how you explore a maze like House of Leaves.

You can eat the book for all that matters, or burn it like Navidson did. Whatever you do, the truth remains the same.

We've all been (understandably) doom and gloom over the potential LoZ movie. But I gotta say just based on what we've seen of Mario, at least two good things would come from an Illumination LoZ movie:

1- Absolutely solid animation and art. Nothing groundbreaking like, Pixar levels, but likely some stunning environments and MAYBE decent character designs (Mario is a bit of a mixed bag imo). I have no doubt the actual world of Hyrule would not be done dirty at least.

2- A fucking phenomenal soundtrack, yoinked directly from the games but given a nice, cinematic orchestral touch up (I would cream).

Would it still suck? Probably. But man I'll take what I can scavenge from the burning wreckage.
