Out of curiosity because I've been seeing quite a bit of it running around in my Facebook feed (ya, I know, cringey), but does anyone have any info on Jo Jorgensen, 3rd party for US president?
Mostly, my big thing is: a lot of people said that voting third party is what got us Tr*mp in the first place. Is voting for her viable this time around, or should I try and convince the friends sharing this to vote blue no matter what? I really want to be a lot more informed this go around, since y'know, the end is nigh and we'll all probably go down in flames if Tr*mp wins again.

i forgot it was 2016 where people genuinely think not voting or voting third party is going to help anybody.... wow... we have really not learned as a nation huh?
i mean at this point we really have no choice but to vote for b*den like seriously if people fuck around and end up doing what they did in 2016 aka either not voting or voting for a 3rd party i’m going to lose my goddamn mind i swear if tr*mp wins the election i think i really will have lost my faith in americans

I generally love your blog, but is there anyway you can tag your politics post? I voted 3rd party & your blaming post really annoy me. You really can't see if every third party voted for Hillary she still would have lost. In fact blame your own party. For even giving Hillary the nom and the people for not voting. Millions less came out to vote for HC than they did BO. What's worse is they keep making the same mistake blaming everyone else. Until they fix the party they will lose again.
dems need to fix the party asap bc it’s a mess i think we can all generally agree on that, but tons of states went red bc so many people decided to vote third party when if you would’ve voted for dems then tr*mp might not have won the election and y'all knew that. y'all knew that this election was absolutely NOT the time to decide that your moral superiority was above every person that tr*mp is targeting, every immigrant, every woman who wants proper reproductive care, and every woman who wants the choice to be able to do whatever they want with their bodies. this was not the election to vote third party so you could say “well I believed in myself and I want everyone to know that I didn’t settle for either candidate :)” so i hope you look at what’s going on in this country, and how many lives are endangered and idc if my post makes you feel bad or irritated you or whatever. you are definitely not the only cause for what’s going on, but you and everyone who voted third party contributed to what’s going on and you helped tr*mp become president. and you can unfollow and block me bc i’m not gonna tag my political posts unless someone messages me and says that they’d rather not see them bc it makes them anxious or upset or if this is the one place they go to escape it all.

Hey I don't want this to come off as argumentative or condescending, so please bear with me I'm autistic and not very good with words... Idk though I thought white people blaming white non-voters and white 3rd party voters alongside white tr*mp supporters was a good thing? It's like the least white people who didn't vote for tr*mp can do, right? Idk I'm sorry I'm really just trying to figure stuff out I'm really bad at understanding this stuff.
i don't mean to sound rude and this anger isn't directed at you but like. i really don't want to hear jack shit from white people trying to blame non voters or third party voters for anything because the fact of the matter is all of them contribute to white supremacy which ultimately is what landed donald trump in office. hillary won the popular vote so to me any argument that doesn't bring up trump's ugly ass supporters, nazis, white supremacy and the garbage pile that is the electoral college is an absolute 👎🏼 from me especially coming from a white person's mouth cuz i'm really not tryna hear it
