#fun fact that's really not related #a week and a half ago i visited my ancestral homeland to raid my late great aunt's house so that my aunt can't get to it before us #and i found a copy of the count of monte cristo #i assumed it dated back to 1944 bc it had a library card thing that said it was due in 1944 #so i nabbed it bc. cool! old book! this is one of my dad's favorites! #and apparently it's a LOT older than that #personally i just find it really funny that it was stolen from the library in 1944 #rambles
