i rlly hate that i’m practically out of good headcanon ideas rn bc those are the Not Sad things i come up with,, but bc i don’t have a good one of Those to post,, heres more Thoughts…

so i kinda mentioned this in a sorta joking way before… but then i realized that it actually makes a little too much sense. saf consists of 2 things: 1. people telling curt his beard sucks/ed and 2. people telling curt to take their advice... bc cynthia, susan, barb, tatiana AND owen all tell curt some form of advice throughout the show.. ofc some is about spying… but a good bit of it is also about moving on from owen (ofc also said by owen himself) and i think this is interesting because curt doesn't really take any of their advice until he *explicitly* takes owen’s. though he does start taking the advice tatiana gave him after doing this as well, and that it heavily influenced him to rlly Start moving on yknow. she helped him start to move on,, but he really finished the job with owen... owen is literally the only person who's advice curt explicitly takes,, as he literally says "taking your advice" and owen is the only one he says that to…

i think it’s rlly bittersweet, considering their relationship, as they trusted each other reallllyy deeply (maybe even a bit too much, as owen would probably say) and curt Didn't take owens advice in the first part of the show right before he fell when he told him to not drop the banana peel and suggested that they fix the barricades,, which could've saved owens "life" and they could've made it out of there together.

but like,,, at least curts taking his advice now. even if he does so by literally killing him. which i could ofc go on for hours about (and Have on many an occasion. like fr i think i’ve written like 4 accidental essays abt owens death and how much i love it and hate it at the same time)

but yeah. i love all the parallels in this show.
