So I’ve been working on a pretty big project of everyone’s favorite and not so little big pal! It’s my first attempt at plushie making and he’s now quite done yet, just cleaning up the details on his horns. He’s about 5 feet long? And he’s got a little plush speaker inside his head! I’m so pleased that the official dragon prince tumblr posted an article with models and more art of him. I was working off of a few photos and paused episode screen caps to get him right! Here’s the post that’s gonna make my left a heck of a lot easier to finish this monster:

Day 1: Caterpillar

I’m definitely gonna go back and fix some stuff, but here’s my piece for the first day of Aaravos Week (BLESS WHOEVER CAME UP WITH THIS IDEA).  

The plants I drew to the right corner of the picture are milkweed plants, which is a nursery type of plant for butterflies and caterpillars.  What can I say, I’m weak for a villain/morally-ambiguous character who have a soft spot for their critters~

OH MY GOD I'VE FINISHED IITTTTT. After a whole month of trying to figure out how to work with silicone, I've finally done it. Aaaaaahhhhh

Alright I know the pics r super bad, I'll get better shots of it 2moro. Maybe. But holy heck am I not just fuelled with sheer excitement rn. Also the legs r far too long, but I needed them to grip the airpods properly, so sue me. And I made 2 of these guys, but the other one is a little wonky. Far better than the DOZENS of deformed bug pals I made before tho, lol

Are these practical? No. Do they serve any purpose? No. Can u actually put it on while using ur airpods? Probably not. Will u even do that, Dayah? Nope. Then why? BECAUSE I CAN, THAT'S WHY.

-i will bet my fucking chips that aaravos is gonna try to start manipulating someone from the dragang because nobody knows who he is, callum just knows he exists and has his cube

-SPEAKING OF CALLUM i think we’re gonna get more coverage on his own trauma (along with rayla’s) because it feels like he was just kind of ignoring it by focusing on rayla and helping her

one problem now rayla’s fucking gone so i will not be surprised if s4 is just “Callum Having A Mental Breakdown For 9 Episodes Straight”

-i feel like he might try to manipulate callum or rayla because ez is a kid and soren would be like “absolutely not” unless he said something abt claudia idk

while aaravos could probably manipulate rayla or callum because callum is gonna be looking for rayla probably and rayla wants closure on her parents/runaan and they both don’t know who he is, in fact nobody does besides claudia/covid-19 (viren)

the only way i could see that not happening is that it just doesn’t happen OR claudia’s redemption arc gets kicked off and she goes to warn callum/the dragang/maybe rayla about him and tell them abt viren and such

i’ve been neglecting my son

-i feel like we’re gonna get more politics because we really haven’t seen much of it, we got a lil taste of it in s3 but i feel like SOMEBODY’S still gonna be mad abt the elves and such so we’ll probably deal with that

-we’ll probably explore rayla’s trauma more along with callum’s and we could get some parallels with them? idk
