I think for Aaron, it's not just the pain and loss of being without Robert as a person.

The loss of a soulmate must be a great pain I can imagine.

But I think it's also the fact that Aaron is adrift without unconditional love and acceptance.

The Dingles, Chas, and Paddy of late have always been toxic, and unhealthy, with lots of strings attached.

But Robert who was his own hot mess, saw Aaron and said "You are safe with me." And Aaron was that for Robert as well.

Considering Aaron's life and mental health, it must have felt like a lifeline to have someone accept, love, and just see him for all the warts and still want him.

So now Aaron is just lost at sea and looking for anywhere safe to land while he slowly and painfully drowns.

Robron Fanfiction Update - Committed Mystery Series

Missing: A Committed Mystery Story Update

So...one of the things I've decided to do recently is start taking care of myself. Meaning, don't wallow in work drama/sadness. Don't fall onto the couch into a stupor. Do something. Exercise. Eat well. Talk nicely to myself. Read. Write. Writing is the important part for this update.

I have been waiting to finally sit down and write that big novel I have felt was always inside of me. However, I know I have some loose ends. So, I am diving back into the Committed Mystery pool and I"m going to finish this story out, and do one more mini story to truly wrap everything up.

I'm going to take this as a way to get my writing brain back. Work has taken a lot of creativity away from me and hell...I want it back. So, I've decided to start writing one of my favorite ships once more.

So, I have to admit. I had this story all plotted out in one of my many notebooks. HOWEVER, that notebook is gone now. So, I have to start with what I left off with. I re-read the Missing chapters and my god...I was going all out. (LOL). Not only do I have the main mystery but...I put in four...FOUR... side-quest storylines. All great and what I planned for them are still up in my little lizard brain. HOWEVER...there is one in there...I don't know where the hell it came from?!? Past Amanda was doing the most. Let's put it that way.

Damn past Amanda. Damn. Don't worry, my lizard brain read the one line and went....'Oh...I can make this work!'

So, I am going to plot out the rest of the story and I'm going to start writing everyday after work (instead of eating my feelings) I will write them. I won't stop until I have an end to this story and the next one to wrap things up.

I know...I doubt anyone cares or even knows my stories but I can't leave things unfinished. So...I'm coming back and I'm doing this for myself at the end of the day (though...comments are always welcome...I enjoy the support and love lol).

So....yeah. Here I go. Back to Emmerdale. Back to Robert. Back to Aaron. Back to Robron.
