A Bathing Ape x Tamagotchi Collaboration

Another streetwear collaboration! Bandai Japan has partnered up with the A Bathing Ape, also known as BAPE. BAPE is a Japanese fashion brand founded by Nigo in 1993. The brand specializes in streetwear, very much similar to Supreme and the recent collaboration this summer.

The collection does not disappoint. First you have three Tamagotchi Original shells in the iconic BAPE CAMO (camouflage), which are blue, green, and pink. Each Tamagotchi Original comes with a lanyard in the corresponding BAPE CAMO design. BAPE calls out that in more recent years there has been a lot of attention on wearing Tamagotchi as a fashion accessory. Fashion! These shells will also have a unique wallpaper behind the LCD display with BAPE graphics.

In addition, t-shirts and hoodies have been create to commemorate the collaboration. Graphics include BAPE Tamagotchi Original shells, vintage sprites of Mametchi and Oyajitchi, and even the BAPE head!

The collection will be released on Saturday, October 14th, 2023 at A BATHING APE authorized dealers and at BAPE.com web store. Bandai Premium Japan and Bandai Premium America have also announced they will be carrying the collection on their web stores.
