Naaah, cuz I can definitely relate to that. I have somniphobia bc of the nightmares I get actually 💀 Word of advice!; Try to pay attention to what you eat right before you go to sleep! I know it sounds silly, but certain foods you eat are known to trigger nightmares. However, those foods vary from person to person, obviously, not everyone had the same trigger(s)! But, anyways! He definitely still deals with nightmares as well from his time on the streets and his mother's passing

Though, he's definitely gotten good at basically shaking them off throughout the day and forgetting about them

After all, he realizes his way of dealing with nightmares isn't the healthiest and therefore is something he definitely doesn't want for you

But he's just so clueless as to how to help

Eventually though, it kind of just comes natural to him

Sure, he might not know how to help in the big picture

But whenever you do have a nightmare, he's always there by your side

He tries his best to give you physical affection and comforting reassurance that's he's never going to leave you much less let something or someone hurt you

Literally analyzing you, to your comfort, trying to get to the root of the problem

Reading and researching endlessly for answers

But aside from all of that, of course he's always physically there for you right after you wake up from a nightmare

The poor boy even stays up to make sure you don't show signs that you are having a nightmare

And if you do, he makes sure to wake you up before it gets any worse

It's normally hard to ever get some sort of affection out of him, given that he is a very busy man. He is barely home.

But, you are lucky if he is ever home, for he is the sweetest, most gentle and affectionate man out there.

Bruno feels horrible for not being around so often, therefore he uses the time that he is home to devote to you.

He will wrap you in a tight embrace, it feels so warm, safe and comforting whenever he holds you close, it's like you're melting into him.

He likes to have your arms wrapped around his torso, and your face buried in his chest while he soothingly plays with your hair and reminds you of how much he loves you.

100/10, his cuddles are the best.

◈ GUIDO MISTA ◈

It's extremely fun to cuddle with him. Especially if his stand is involved, because it's like they hog you all for themselves and they leave poor Mista out.

But on a serious note, his cuddles are amazing. He always makes sure he gets to spend quality time with you, and cuddling is one of his favorite things to do.

Mista loves to have you as a small spoon, he finds it adorable how small and fragile you look in his arms.

It also makes him feel very proud of himself, because holding you like that makes him feel like he is strong and the only person capable of protecting you.

He kisses the top of your head a lot, while his one hand will always trace your curves ever so gently, his touch actually makes you fall asleep.

Or if he is in a playful mood, those light touches will end up with him tickling you, who knows with him.

9/10, if we include the tickling part, but overall his cuddles are the best.

◈ LEONE ABBACCHIO ◈

Abbacchio is very awkward when it comes to cuddling. Since, he isn't exactly the most affectionate guy out there.

In the beginning, he would probably shove you off of him, not really understanding what the point was of it.

But over time, he would slowly start to accept it, and get more and more used to the way you wrap your arms around his torso and snuggle into his chest.

He would never ever admit it, but it's comforting. It makes him feel strong and loved.

Abbacchio would eventually end up pulling you close to him and instinctively start to let his hands run through your locks in a very soothing way.

He loves the proximity between the two of you, especially on nights when he comes home from a long day at work.

Drinking wine, watching movies, and holding you close is always his favorite way to spend a quiet evening.

8/10, if we ignore how awkward he can be in the beginning.

◈ NARANCIA GHIRGA ◈

Best boy. He loves being cuddled. Narancia isn't used to affection at all, and he is one of those people who's touch starved.

He will forever love you if you let him be the small spoon at least once in a while. He also loves it when you play with his hair, he will fall asleep so quickly.

He also enjoys being a big spoon, he doesn't want to seem weak or need for your affection.

Therefore, he will often tease you and say things like "Aw, you wanna be held again?" when in reality, he is hiding the fact that he is dying for your affection.

But the poor guy cannot lie still to save his life, but when he eventually does, he is the coziest and nicest person to cuddle.

9/10.

◈ PANNACOTTA FUGO ◈

Another awkward person. He always feels threatened if someone were to touch him, so I can only guess that trying to cuddle him will not end so great.

He will tense up if you try to so much as touch him, and ask you what the fuck your doing. If you tell him what you're trying, he will relax the tiniest bit.

He will honestly just sit there like a statue and let you hold him, he is so damn awkward it's actually hilarious to see.

But again, he needs time. He will eventually warm up to your advances and attempts to hold him, and he won't be so awkward and tense.

He will actually find that proximity quite nice, and eventually grow addicted to the gentle touches.

Please play with his hair! Fugo also loves to lay down on your chest while your hands run through his strawberry blonde locks, it puts him at ease.

Abbacchio would be wary of you at first, much like he was with Giorno. The mafia world is a cruel one, and you can never be too careful. He knows this from experience.

Once he had gotten used to you being around and knew you were trustworthy, he (very) slowly started to be a little less cold towards you.

He started asking specifically to be sent on missions with you, tagging along as “extra protection”.

When all of the other members were teasing you for being the newbie, he found himself getting a little too defensive over you. Like, to the point where even Bruno told him to chill tf out.

If you ever found yourself in a bad position while on a mission, he was there to help you in a millisecond.

He would almost kind of scold you, saying things like “You really gotta be more careful, kid. I’m not always gonna be there to save you.”

It’s his weird way of trying to motivate you

He would use Moody Blues to play your fights over again, pointing out where you could improve or how to use your stand in a more efficient way

Almost kind of coaching you

If you did really well on a mission, expect praise

His praises won’t be the most enthusiastic sounding, but believe me when I say they’re the most genuine compliments you will ever receive

Sometimes his praises are just a pat on the back/head and a smile

“Great job out there today” “You seriously kicked ass”

he’s emotionally constipated so that’s his way of telling you that he’s proud of you

Please note: This is a remarkably dusty draft. I decided to post it now because my queue is low and if a work is never made to be seen it isn't really "complete," I suppose. I stand by these headcanons and the precious project @toasteaa and I created that brought me to them.

Leone does his own vocal performances. Somehow, his deep, velvety voice doesn't detract from the feminine illusion. (He has a voice fit for opera as well as the kind of crooning he gets up to with these gigs, but I don't know if he'd ever end up being able to explore that.)

He hates wigs and refuses to wear them, opting to just heavily style his own hair.

Tucking is a NIGHTMARE for him. Take from that statement what you will.

He picked up the job to make extra cash (that's what he told himself it was for, anyways) and through it kinda explored his emerging queerness.

(The backstory hc I have for him kinda made it that he couldn't dig into that part of himself very far, lest he be branded a degenerate by his parents... which I mean, already happened by now bc of that whole gross negligence & incarceration thing.)

He was leaving a gig (had gotten into an altercation with someone before leaving, hence the blood) when Bruno came across him and the whole "don't die bound by your past" scene happened.

(That was also not the first time they'd had this talk, it was just the first time he decided to take the offer.)

Thoughts on Leone Abbacchio

he has a pretty good relationship to his group:

It´s kind of obvious. I mean, you need to have a good relationship with the people you work with in that enviroment, they are risking their lives and need to work together to overcome threats. But he cares for them- he did show some sort of concern for Giorno while the fight in Pompeji, warning him of Purple Haze, but not just that. While he does replay either people or enemy stands (like that pilot or Crush), he never really makes the effort to fully transform them, we see that the pilot´s face is kind of blank and Crush..It´s just moody blues. But for Narancia, he does go further. We actually get to see his face. Not just the ballgag looking eyes or a face without a mouth and nose.

I´d like to think that he kind of acts like the big brother of the group (yes I am a sucker for the found family trope). There was this scene where he reprimands Mista for rolling stones landing on his chair, thinking he could have thrown that thing off or simply put it there for whatever reason. He´s keeping an eye out because he knows Mista is a bit more careless.

a bit goofy. Remember when he asked Bucciarati whether or not he hide the secret treasure in a hidden cave? Straight up taken out of a movie. Or when he flew a plane with knowledge he also took out of a movie. it worked in the end (kind of, if notorious B.I.G hadn´t attacked they probably would have landed safely) but still. This man has a (not so) secret, more funny side to him. Feel free to share your own thoughts, I´d love to read what you think"

So I can’t think of anyone directly to request this from but I really need some angst. So here’s my idea:

With the Bucciarati team the (gn) reader is part of the team and can see how they all die but physically can’t tell them, because their ability simply doesn’t allow it

Anyway, so they are constantly sad and everyone is so confused about them being sad, and eventually they leave because they can’t handle the stress of seeing their friends die

If anyone wants to do this I’d prefer a headcanon format (paragraphs hurt my easily overwhelmed brain lol) but it’s fine if not!

When he came home that he wasn't expecting you to still be awake. Today had been a busy day for both of you guys and you rarely had time to talk today. "S/o..How are you this evening?" You weren't sure how to respond to the poor man, he worked so hard to keep everyone happy and away from drugs, it broke your heart.

"I'm good," you stated, "how about you?" He sat down and looked at you softly "I'm just glad you're here, that's all." You couldn't stand it anymore, you couldn't accept the fact that people wanted to hurt a man that just wanted to protect everyone and tried his best to help.

"Bruno, you can't do this!" You shouted, "You're only hurting yourself more by protecting others, I'm scared Bruno!" He looked at you shocked for a moment but slowly looked down. "S/o..I can't I need to protect the people here." Tears came flowing through your eyes.

"Then what about me?! I'm so fucking worried Bruno! I'm scared that I'll get news about you dying or some bullshi-" You were silenced by soft lips connecting to yours, butterflies scattered throughout your stomach, your vision was blurry with tears streaming down. It felt like a dream.

"Don't say that love, I love you so much. You can't even imagine how much I worry about you everyday"

Abbacchio:

You had always been worried about Abbacchio drinking habits, you were scared that one day he may end up in bed with someone, or in fact hit you. When you would try telling him, he would tell you to leave you alone.

Today here he was with the sixth glass of wine, it was so much to take in, you were completely worried for him, yourself, and your relationship. "Abbacchio..you really shouldn't drink this much it could really affect you." The man only grumbled and continued drinking.

You were persistent and kept telling the man he should reduce it and all ties broke through. "What the hell do you want S/o?! Can't I just be at peace for a few hours, some of us are actually suffering here and have lost people we fucking care about, so just shut the hell up for once and let me drink myself to sleep!"

Abbacchio raised his hand instantly, your eyes had widened at the thought of him hitting you, so you backed away quickly and covered yourself. Shock hit both of you and silence stayed in the air, "S-S/o? Love are you okay, please look at me, shit, I am so fucking sorry I don't even know what just happened" You had tears coming from your eyes, it ripped his heart instantly, he carried you both to your shared bedroom, showering you with kisses and soft words, telling you on how he would reduce drinking.

"I love you, please don't ever try to worry too much..please. I don't even deserve you."

However, he's soon cut off by everyone else jumping out cheering "Surprise!" And wishing him a happy birthday

He's unbelievably happy and humbled

He's quick to realize why you've been distant

He tells you he genuinely thought something was wrong so he's glad to see you were just planning a surprise party for him

You reassure him if something ever were to be wrong, he'd be the first to know

And once you get his attention by asking him to follow you, those negative thoughts quickly begin to be lifted

Once you surprise him he's unbelievably overjoyed

Quickly tackles you into a hug and smothers you with kisses

Absolutely praising you for your hard work on planning everything out

food and wine are this man's love language.

when he found out that you liked to cook, it was like he fell in love with you all over again.

he loves the way you cook, it reminds him of how his mom used to cook for him when he was younger :')

when he comes home from a long mission to a home-cooked meal from you, it melts his heart. he can't believe that someone loves and cares about him so much to prepare a delicious meal for him to come home to

he insists on cleaning things up for you and washing the dishes. don't try to argue with him, because you're not going to win.

he likes to cook with you, even though he's not great at it. but he always tries his best, and tries to imitate exactly how you do it

while you're cooking, he'll come up behind you and wrap his strong arms around your waist. he'll say things like: "that smells delicious, amore." and give you a kiss on the cheek

he loves the time and consideration you put into each meal. he can almost taste the love that goes into it. it makes his cold heart turn warm when he eats food you made for him!

there's nothing else he would rather eat in the whole entire world than your cooking. he doesn't even like to go to restaurants anymore because the food just doesn't compare to yours.

he likes to bring back special wines that he thinks would pair well with each meal you cook. it's his way of contributing to the meals lol

Bruno gave Abbacchio a notebook for his birthday filled with locations/times/dates for him to replay with moody. Abbacchio didn’t know what to expect but when he replayed them it was literally just the other members of the team embarrassing themselves.
