actually yes 😎 chuuya already doesn’t associate everything with gender because selkies just don’t really do that in my little folklore myths also….had a fish brain basically. i have it planned as a shapeshifting type deal because literally Chuuya would be gender fluid, and since they are on the cusp of creation, have that ability better then other selkies. they don’t understand the full extent of it because they’ll need explanations from…a certain someone we will see on Sunday. Chuuya just does whatever the hell Chuuya wants and is seen as however he he wants to be seen. Most of his education on gender and sex comes from mirroring dazai!! He was the first person Chuuya saw and spent time with, so basically it became mimicking learning. :D

AND YESSSS Sunday’s chapter has our little side characters and Adam will also make his appearance in silver soul cause I’m biased towards him. AtsuLucy yes…also higugin :3 dove dreaming will have lots of side characters and more characters introduced!

ARTIST'S NOTES:

Writing Daud's taunts was SO much fun. I did a few iterations on what he said, maybe once the series is finished I do a wrap up on my sketches and what changed during development.

For the second page, I really wanted to give the feeling of overwhelmness to the reader like mimic how Emily is feeling, as all her trauma is flashing through her mind. I think it's the most panels I've drawn in a single page, and I feel like I could have cramped more in to really nail the feeling, but hey it's good practice for the future.

Emily's activation of Shadow Walk was loosely inspired by The Monster in the Hull. Shadow Walk was another abililty I didn't use in my playthrough, So I don't know if I would have gave it so much focus if it weren't for the fic. And also, taking game powers/mechanics and making it work narratively in other mediums is hard. So seeing what others do is insanely helpful

Emily's shadow walk was my own take on the power, which I explained here

Fun fact! I didn't mean to draw Jess and Delilah in the same pose and the same expression, but oh my god once I noticed it they were mirroring each other it was too good not to point out. The symbolism!! They're sisters okay!!

So about the OC i was talking about...his name is Apollo, he's a sketch of him. I'm gonna post part one of his insanely long bio!

Apollo… where do I begin.  mind the the warnings

So tw torture, mech preg, coercion  

originally this was supposed to be a starscream/oc but I came up with a backstory for him, he is also a optimus prime/oc ship as well. he's both in my Earthspark and IDW aus

Apollo wasn’t originally named Apollo , and was forged near Kaon and eventually found himself living on the streets. To get money for himself to stay alive, he decided to fight as a gladiator when he was old and strong enough. Apollo is an outlier, and had the rare ability to control metal and energon from his opponents, rendering them weak or immobile. However, he mostly hid this ability because he was afraid it would be misused if ever he was captured, and only used it to stay safe. 

unbenknowst to him, the wrong factions had taken interest in his abililties and planned to use him for them. Apollo knew of Megatron, but he never fought him - he didn’t want to because he swore not to use his ability, and he feared Megatron would be able to power through it, as some were. He always admired Megatron, and studied his fighting.

Regardless, while Apollo himself was a renown fighter, he did not like fighting, he did not like killing senselessly. So one day, despite millions bet on him, he ran. Just at the start of everything, he abandoned everything and ran. This is when he is found by the Autobots, specifically Prowl - he had been on Prowl’s radar for a very long time. Prowl immediately offered him shelter if he agreed to become and Autobot and do whatever it took to win the war. Apollo didn’t know much of what was happening, he only fought to survive and was extremely quick to accept Prowl’s offer. He didn’t know that meant giving up his freedom. It started simple, with Prowl and Autobot scientists needing Apollo’s DNA to perhaps replicate soldiers with his ability but it never worked. When Apollo discovered that this was happening, he almost ran again, to the Deception’s, but Prowl stopped him. He tried to kill Prowl, and nearly succeeded and in that moment, Prowl sent from seeing him as a bot to an object, 

That is when he was captured, locked away and for the greater good, forcibly experimented on in hopes of replicating soldiers with his abilities.  Most of these experiments fail, and the others are too unstable to be released into public. Regardless, they all took a toll on his body.  At this time, Apollo is just a shell of his former self, and he is used further when it’s discovered that mixing his CRNA with another , more powerful bot can garner control. That mech is Optimus and in a way, Prowl releases Apollo and steers him to get into a relationship with Optimus so Optimus could willingly give away his CRNA or he and Apollo could have a sparkling that can jumpstart the process. 

Eventually, while Optimus and Apollo get close and fall for one another, Optimus figures this out yet rather than stop the relationship right away, he uses Apollo to figure out just what Prowl is doing as he doesn’t know of this secret project, or of Prowl’s intentions. Optimus no longer trusts Apollo despite their closeness and ends things after he learns the half-truth of what is happening. He understands that all that happened isn't his fault, but he is uncomfortable that Apollo tricked him with his coding.

Apollo is too exhausted to tell him the truth. Though he loves Optimus, he’s angry at both Optimus and Prowl and flees. He fell for Optimus out of his own freewill, but now feels a lot of resentment toward prowl and optimus

He leaves the Autobot army and ends up accidentally coming to Deception space where he is captured by Starscream and brought to Megatron and given to Shockwave who has been seeking him out to experiment on him. Shockwave discovers how to clone his technique and also discovers that through his union with Optimus he is carrying. Apollo didn't know he was sparked. Shockwave's plan is to harvest the sparklings and use Apollo for whatever he wants. However, the evening he is to do that, Apollo is actually freed by a surprising person. 

Starscream. Starscream is disillusioned with the army at this point, and has tried to desert multiple times but just craves the power. However, Starscream being cold constructed has his limits, and taking away the bodily autonomy of someone is one of them, as Starscream has had similar things nearly happen to him (not the asme as Apollo, but if I were to explain that would be very long). So he frees him, probably tries to kill him but frees him. 

Apollo doesn’t return to the Autobots, but he does stay a neutral bot. He keeps his sparkling in stasis inside of them, not feeling comfortable enough to go through an emergance, at least not yet. Now that he feels he is free however, he does what he wants. Apollo is really into arts, he loves to write and he loves to paint, and he starts writing novels and books and poetry. He writes a lot about things that sadden him, but tries to write about things that make him happy. Occasionally, he will write about Starscream and then he writes about what he wants his sparklings to be. Apollo also becomes a mercenary, getting more comfortable using his ability to kill so he can once again, survive. When he is in a better place, he decides to go through the carrying process with one of is sparklings - he is carrying three of them, but only allows one to progress. He eventually has his daughter and those two are close. Though she's very young and with his own mental health problems it is hard for him to care for her and himself at the same time,

Part two coming up later, especially wrt to how he and starscream become a couple. And how Starscream eventually takes in all his children and basically raises them as his own <3. because that's what ss does in my aus

I honestly think both of these are FANTASTIC and just depend on the energy of the rest of the fic. I thiiiink I lean toward Jimmy being stunningly competent, because I really like fics where Jimmy is actually competent xD. I truly believe that the only thing that stops Jimmy from wreaking havoc generally speaking is his sheer drowned wet cat energy. he's got the rage, he's got the blind desire for revenge against those who harass him, he's got the pride and ego, he just can't ever pull it off. so to be possessed and suddenly granted the abililty to do this--whether it's an ability to pull of his darkest thoughts, or being possessed to do something against his will, it's all. mmm. very good

however henchman energy jimmy is just funny. do you think the possessing entity is just like "sigh. why did i choose this guy" meanwhile jimmy has wile e. coyote energy trying to drop anvils on people's heads and accidentally killing himself instead. if this is for a fic, i feel like the options are: do you want it to be immediately obvious something is wrong? and do you want the tone to be Scary or Comedic, depending on his competence level?

anyway i always think jimmy should commit more crimes 👍

So last week (i guess), i've sent you two headcanons, one is demon slayer AU and the other one is Spiderman AU. I will answer the demon slayer one first. And this gonna be long again, i'm so sorry if you're bored reding this 😔🙏

Soo.. you ask me would it be a happy ending between both of them. And the answers is.. no actually. But I have a few situation to ending up with.. and actually there is one but not really a happy ending for one of them.

I have a few situation that i didn't include in the headcanons. If you following or at least watch the Demon slayer anime, the effective way to kill the demon is by slashing their necks off with a special katanas.

There are other ways to kill demon, such as using poison like Shinobu (this is effective for a lower demon) or explosion like Tengen (but it only to slow it down, not really kill it). And for some situation the demons can die for other reason, as an example like Akaza (he died because he blow himself up)

Rin have tried several suicide attempt, and she even trying to slashed her neck using her own katana and that didn't work because she can only slashed half of her neck, not all of it. None of her attempt working because she has the abililty to heal her self quickly, and the later on, Obito know about this and try to stop her.

For Obito situation, as i mention before, he mastered all of his clan abilities and hashiras ability, being a hashira at a young age, already kill more than 100 demon at age 17, and the most important thing is, he got his sharingan eyes at the aged 15.

But, all of this have a consequences. And Obito consequences is to only live until age 30. In this AU, waking an ability like Sharingan can risking their life. Other than that, waking a Sharingan also means activated the demon salyer marks, and this is the reason he only has a few years to life. So all of the Sharingan users have to face this consequences for the rest of their life.

And the reason he waking his sharingan isn't because of Rin actually, but because Shisui, Itachi, and Izumi got attack by a lower moon 7. After that, he got blind for couple weeks and Madara have to train him again to control his body. And since the mark of a demon slayer will permanently remain on the user's body, he has to cover it using a bandage.

(I have this family headcanon actually, i can make it if you want 😀)

Obito didn't tell anyone that he's gonna live until age 30. Even Rin. He didn't want them to have pitty on him. But eventually, Rin found out about this when she treated badly injured Obito. She always curious about why he always cover that one spot, which is his left arm. And just that, she knew about it.

So.. now you can guess it what will happen between them ;)

Oh and one thing, if they manage to kill Muzan, it means all the demons that has his blood will also die. Including her. And Obito notice this. But still they continiue their relationship even though they know it wouldn't make it till the end.

So on the first headcanon, i did mention that Rin rejected Obito several times, and this is the actuall reason, and that happen before she knew about Obito having a demon slayer mark. But at the end they still do it. She just love him so much, and wanted to stay by his side till the end.

The alternative happy ending is probably, both of them quit the demon slayer organization and try to live a normal life. She stay by his side until he died. But the only problem is, she can't die as long Muzan is live. She did activate the demon slayer mark too, but she cant die since she's a demon.

And the other happy ending that's gonna be the real happy ending is both of them gonna live and having a normal live. Rin manage to make herself fully turn back into human, and when Muzan's dead, the demon slayer marks will disapear, and those who already activate them will have a normal life span. At the end they get marrried and have two children.

That's the alternative happy ending, but not the real ending ;)

The happy ending I'd choose from this is Rin staying by his side until he dies. x) It's the closest angsty happy ending they can get, even though I prefer the one where they just live normally and get married!
