[22.01.2024: monday]

21/100 days of productivity

late post today because i did it! i survived my biology exam and am now done with all of my written final exams. i suddenly feel 20 kilos lighter.

i'll be rewarding myself with a good dinner & book tonight and then tomorrow it's back to the grind! i have the entire week plus half of next week off, but when classes start there will be quite a few tests & smaller exams to prep for and i do not intend for those pesky little tests to now ruin my grades.

goals for today: - treat myself. relax. (✓) - organise my schedule for next two weeks (✓) - prep english vocab (✓) - read!!!

now that i'm back from finals-hell i want to really sit down and enjoy some good literature (i will give updates on my tbr soon).

An meine deutschen Freunde:

Wenn ihr noch Abitur macht wählt Erdkunde als Prügungsfach. Es ist eine gratis Note. Legit 10 Seiten geschrieben ohne überhaupt ansatzweise was einbringen zu müssen, was ich gelernt habe. Die schenken euch einfach gute Noten, solange ihr Materialien auswerten könnt. Und selbst das Lernen hab ich in zwei Tagen geschafft, weil es gar nicht mal viel zu lernen gibt.

Meine Lehrerin hatte recht, dass man für Erdkunde nicht lernen muss.

small life update: I got accepted for a voluntary position, which means I'll get to work in a museum in one of Europe's biggest fortresses for a year. I'm so excited, I can't wait! The area is so so beautiful, with many castles and hiking trails. I just need to find a place to live now, but I don't think that'll be a big problem. What IS a big problem, however, is my oral history exam on Thursday, which I have barely studied for. But my friends & I are doing a study meet-up today, after which we'll go to the fair! It's crazy to think that by this time next week, my high school time is basically over. The only thing left then is to receive my grades & attend the graduation ball (which I still need a dress for, maybe even a second one for the graduation ceremony in the morning if I can't wear my great-grandmothers dress for that).
