A few months ago I was listening to a comedian in an audiobook when he said he daydreamed about killing people who walked slow and I just thought, "This joke is seriously ableist."

It's true they probably didn't mean it but it's still very ableist. And I get it's a popular point of view because they are in New York, a city with a lot of pedestrian traffic.

But it makes the assumption that:

1. Every pedestrian has the ability to walk as fast as other people.

2. That even if they can that they can maintain that speed for prolonged periods. Which you need to be able to do to keep up with a fast paced crowd.

As someone who has struggled for my whole life to walk and run at a "normal" pace I have been treated poorly in life because I lacked the speed of more able bodied people. Even when people are aware that I have broken at least one leg and one hip is much smaller affecting my gate as I walk I have been treated as "too a average to be slow" or lazy. Even when I can go faster it is in bursts.

But people refuse to accept that you can't do better if you are not elderly or disabled in a way that is super obvious.

1. Women do it all the time so I don’t think it’s that odd or problematic.

2. I found this comment to be insensitive towards people with EDs (Eating Disorder) and my first thought of Lili’s would affect someone like that, since she said some pretty insensitive things before. I hadn’t heard about the dress yet.

I feel like no one at Larian knows that Bane, Bhaal (well now neutral evil as of 5e, for Bhaal, but there is no lore reason for this change? That I can find, anyway. And because there is no reason for this change in character I see no reason knowledge it.) are Lawful Evil deities, with Myrkul as a Neutral Evil god, not chaotic evil ones. I seem them all being referenced as chaotic evil so often in bg3 circles.

I will never shut up about this before it bothers me. LIKE Larian likes creating stories about people and their relationships to gods- but they can't even get the lore for the gods in question- so it ends up just not very good at all.

Like yes when it comes to D&D some lore needs to change because it's either racist, or bigoted. That's all fine good, I love those changes. But the messing around with inconsequential lore? It just bothers me.

The way Larian writes evil gods in bg3 is as if they are all chaotic evil. LIKE Shar is also neutral evil. They take away all of their nuance and what makes them interesting.

AND that isn't to say that chaotic evil characters can not be nuanced and interesting. before Larian massacred his characterize Sarevok was a very compelling character, and very much cable of genuinely loving someone, like his lover Tamoko.

I really like bg3, I wouldn't complain so much if I didn't care about.

Someone disagreeing with you about a tv show isn’t gaslighting. You don’t get to come onto other people's posts just to insult them and then cry foul when people tell you that you are wrong. Helluva boss fans are not some sort of organized mob trying to silence you, people (A lot of them who also hate helluva boss) are just saying that having an entire blog that you update frequently dedicated to hating a person and her show is weird especially when you are so aggressive about it. Telling people that they "don't know what real mental illness looks like and how it can damage people and the person with the mental illness. Radqueers literally boil down disorders and disabilities into ‘desirable traits”. Then “transition” by pretending to have said disorders and/or disabilities because you think they’re something “fun and quirky” things to have which is insulting to people who actually live with these disabilities and disorders. 

BPD and depression can literally cause you attempt to end your life, autistic people are infantilised and or demonised for just for being autistic, OCD has already been boiled down to “Omg I’m such a neat freak lol!!” when it’s a debilitating mental disorder where your own brain is bombarding you with distressing intrusive thoughts. Not to mention many disabilities are already stigmatised as is, especially NPD and DID.
