AHHHH collabs make me really nervous bc im bossy and controlling lmao so i need someone whose writing i admire and look up to and also will both fight me and still like me afterward. which is why i would LOOOOOOOVE to collab w laureb @starwarned. and..... well................ hehe. moving on.

37) What’s the funniest story you’ve written?

OOOH ok ive written a couple fics that were like literally crack but i think my funniest fic overall TO ME is my high school AU, We Can Live Forever. the title is from a one direction song, which is automatically funny, and then it just is a wild ride thru my sense of humor after that. i wrote most of this fic while zooted too, which explains a lot lol. i was actually just talking abt this particular scene with aforemention laureb the other day -- im putting it under the cut bc it's long but it's like the funniest thing ive ever written:

All the chairs are taken when Andrew steps outside holding two shitty chicken caesar wraps. Several of their occupants are reenacting moments from their last game using various lunch items. Andrew only has to watch the affair for a moment before he figures out he is being represented in the tupperware goal by an empty juice box.

Neil is sitting with his elbows resting on the table, watching with a small smile. He shifts to sneak a french fry off Kevin’s tray while he isn’t looking, then looks over to the cafeteria door. His grin splits open when he spots Andrew, and he pushes his chair back, gesturing toward his lap in offering.

Andrew sighs. He only allows his brain to read the situation as Gay Disaster and Object of Affection for about a second when he sits sideways across Neil’s thighs, Neil’s arm wrapping loosely around his waist to hold him in place. Then, Andrew realigns himself with what the situation actually is: Andrew and Neil, doing something they’ve been doing since they were seven years old. He relaxes, handing Neil his sandwich and ripping the cling wrap off his own.

“Which one are you?” Andrew asks, jerking his chin toward where a poptart has dodged its clementine backliner mark to charge at juice-box-Andrew in goal.

“I’m on the bench for this play,” Neil says.

“And then, Andrew! You were like, PSHAAHHHH!” Laila says, waving an imaginary racquet in the air to demonstrate the block Andrew had made. Matt imitates her general movement with the juicebox. “And the Allenstown guy was so mad, he tried to punch Jean!” Jeremy throws the poptart at an empty Coke can.

Andrew nods, taking a bite of his wrap. Copious amounts of shredded cheese fall onto his lap, so he brushes it all to the ground.

“I was a protein bar earlier.” Neil finally succeeds in unwrapping his sandwich using only one hand. “But then Nicky ate me.”

“Hmmm,” Andrew responds, eyeing his cousin across the table. String-cheese-Kevin scores on the opposing team. Nicky dumps a splash of Gatorade on it (and Allison’s hand) as everyone cheers.

Neil leans forward, and Andrew feels his breath on his earlobe.

“Want to know why you’re the juicebox?”

“Do I?” Andrew asks, willing every nerve in his body to stand down.

“Matt says it’s because you’re a little squirt,” Neil whispers, squeezing slightly at Andrew’s waist before leaning back against the chair. Andrew twists to glare at him.

“Don’t blame me,” Neil says, laughing. “I said you should’ve been Kevin’s hamburger — strong and beefy. But Kevin is selfish, and he was unwilling to sacrifice his hamburger for your good name.”

“Damn straight,” Kevin mumbles beside Neil, wiping off the plastic-wrapped cheese stick with a napkin before placing it back at center court.

Considering what I’ve done?” She sighed and nuzzled her nose against his. “I care about you so much... But it’s not fair to you.”

Caleb was somewhat confused considering they were both supposed to be married, people would obviously suspect something wasn’t right if they didn’t display some sort of PDA right? “Or you know what? We can pretend we’re those weird people, I think they’re Amish right? We can just say it’s against our religion to display public affection.” At this point he knew he was rambling, as he scooted closer and wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled Laura in closer, but right before their lips met he whispered. “Alright. I’ll shut the fuck up so you can kiss me.” And with that, Caleb crashed his lips hard against hers.

Actress Lauren London is left grieving the death of rapper Nipsey Hussle. The couple had just released a clip of Q&A wity GQ Magazine where Nipsey had learned her favorite color. In the video you could see how smitten she was over Nipsey, jokingly commenti g on the fact that they had been together for five years and he didn’t know her favorite color.

The couple had also celebrated together a few months back, where Lauren mentioned in video that Nipsey never allowed her to be lonely and that he always showed up for her.

The day before Lauren was seen in a video on her Instagram with her son, showing her appreciation for being a mom. Laureb noted how moms tend to take on their childs colds when they are sick.

Nipsey was shot outside of his clothing store in L.A. Although, news reports have spoken about his affiliation with gangs, Speculations may lead to a documentary that he was about to release on Dr Sebi. Dr Sebi died in jail aftering being arrested over alleged money issues. However, he was a threat to medical science dollars, and he death remains in question.

name: lauren! (yes, the ! is part of my legal name)

fandoms: mostly carry on. I used to write a shit ton of star wars fanfiction? (all of it gay, of course.) and I’m still... unfortunately... in that fandom I suppose. but I don’t create content for it anymore. (in addition, I wrote fanfiction about multiple boybands in my early days). no, my heart belongs to dragon boy and vampire boy.

where you post: AO3! I posted old stuff on wattpad when I was young and immature, but I live on AO3 nowadays.

most popular one-shot: kudos-wise, it’s Layers of Varnish! which I didn’t expect lol. I never check my kudos and stuff because it makes me nervous and self-conscious so this was an interesting search to find my most popular. I do love this fic, though, and I’m glad others like it. (the 2nd most popular is Mage First, Vampire Last, which I have to plug because it’s one of my favs)

most popular multi-chapter: The Merely Livable, the Merely Survivable! which is one of my favs and I’m pretty proud of it. it’s like an au of carry on where simon was in love with baz the whole time :) pining simon is my love

fic you were nervous to post: all of them?? lmao. especially Wanted It To Be You because I don’t like posting longform fics if I haven’t already written them all the way through lol. This one I posted after I’d only written half of it. 

how do you choose your titles: honestly who tf knows? all my COC titles are from random quotes. sometimes song lyrics? sometimes my fav phrase from the fic itself? sometimes I just put random words and hope it makes sense?

do you outline: pretty vaguely at the start. like “alright simon is gonna do x and then that will make baz x and then they’ll kiss! wahoo!” and as I’m writing, I make little notes to myself like “wait don’t forget that simon has to x” or “make baz say I love you first!!”

complete: sigh. 78 complete works on AO3. sorry I post too damn much.

do you take prompts: uh... I guess? if someone asked me to write something, I would immediately! otherwise, I’ve done fictober and COC so that counts, I suppose

in progress: finishing up COC prompts in the next few days! I’m also part of four fic exchanges. and then, of course, I have a folder of approximately 9 wips including simon breathing fire, simpard to the extreme, and a multichaptered angsty songfic.
