          Salamander had been having way too much fun in the Guild Hall since returning from a long mission,  between eating,  dancing,  starting fights,  and even chucking the occasional fireball around,  it seems that some of his fellow Guild members were finished with his antics after ... a good few hours.  After downing a whole turkey leg in what seemed like one bite,  boy chucked the discarded bone with haste,  only for it to land and clock the Steel Dragonslayer on the head.  Emerald’s followed this chain of events,  and a cackle unlike any other soon erupted from him.

there are so many amazing and powerful benders in atla but what i love about zuko is that whether or not he can use his bending in that moment has zero (0) bearing on how much he’s going to absolutely kick your ass. no bending? that’s fine - he’s got swords. no swords or bending? that’s fine - he’s literally just going to beat you up. if you’re REALLY unlucky then you get all three. as a treat.
