in a shocking twist of fate, this sunday six is NOT about daigo. i posted two fics abt this mf already lmao i wanna write some ichiban/joon-gi so i've got some yakuza 7 stuff here hehe (and it isn't sad i promise)

"You want to go to a nightclub?" Nanba wrinkled his nose. "Hell no. We're not college students. Let's stick to the bar."

"Get that stick outta your ass. It could be fun to switch things up a little," Adachi said.

"Adachi-san, you're a pensioner. Well, you don't have a pension, but the point still stands. A nightclub is not your scene."

Adachi bristled. "Excuse me, you little shit. Not my scene? Do you know who was in the thick of it during the disco era?"

"Oh my God, he's talking about the disco era," Saeko groaned. "Go to bed, old man."

"Kasuga, back me up," Adachi insisted, turning to most agreeable person at the table. "You're down for a night out, right?"

Predictably, Ichiban beamed. "Hell yeah! I'm always down to dance!"

"See? Kasuga's up for it."

"Yeah, but Ichiban is up for anything. He has no shame," Nanba said. "I, on the other hand, am not gonna embarrass myself at the club in front of a bunch of twenty year olds. I may not look like it, but I've got dignity."

"Dignity?" Adachi snorted. "Says the guy who drank a pint of expired milk and-"

"Do not recap that story," Saeko warned him. "We're eating."

"Dignity," Nanba repeated.
