Never allow an adult to refer to your child as "my wife" or "my husband" 4. Whenever your child goes out to play with his friends, be sure to find a way to find out what type of game he plays, because young people abuse themselves sexually. And this is not new... 5. Never have your child visit an adult with whom he is not comfortable, and also consider whether your child becomes a big fan of a particular adult. 6. Once, a very cheerful child suddenly becomes shy. You may need to be patient and cautious, as well as clear up a few questions about why you are behaving. 7. Educate carefully about the correct values of sexuality. If you don't, society will teach you the wrong values. 8: It is always advisable to review any new material, such as cartoons you just bought from them, before you start watching them. 9. Make sure to enable parental controls on your cable networks and advise your friends, especially your children's. Visit frequently. 10. Teach your children from 3 years to wash their private parts well and warn them never to allow anyone to touch them (remember, caring begins at home and with you). 11: Keep away any associated materials that you think could endanger your child's mental health (this includes music, movies, and even friends and family). 12: Once your child complains about a particular person, don't keep quiet. GODESSES ARE DELIVERED IN TEMPORARY DWELLINGS

It's extraordinary how thoughts come to the surface. The thoughts which give rise to a deeper meaning often find their inception in a banal moment; happenstanced upon as we seek to meet our vulnerable human need. Mine arose this evening on the balcony of the home we moved into a few weeks ago, as I was seeking some respite from this warm April day. We have lived in 9 different homes over the past nine years, not including a bus on 2 occasions. Not by choice, but rather, as as a consequence of an unfortunate series of events: Events which have been, and are, imbued with the deepest pains and difficulties in myriad forms. Events which would not have been so if it weren't for the black hearts of us humans. As we have tumbled around with constant uncertainty and chaos, we have found our way through. Yet, as I entered this current abode I couldn't help hoping that I could live out my days getting to know this space and its surrounds. But I know this won't be, as myself and my children's fortunes are constantly thrown to the wind of others desires. Any day we may have to move on again to yet another four walls - the finding, the leaving and the moving always filled with difficulty and pain. This is our life, as I long for and struggle to keep my children and myself safe from the storms that a warm secure hearth can shelter us from. As I have these feelings - primal in nature - I also feel a deep weariness and wish that we can stay here forever. But not to be, so we learn how to live a different life, but not without a great toll on all of us. Though this is not the thought that surfaced as I stood on the balcony of our temporary dwelling.

This latest home is favouring us with it's beauty and strong steady walls as it provides a degree of comfort we are unaccustomed to. When I first looked at the home I looked with a desperate eye: The kind of desperation that comes from living in a bus with your 2 children.

Stand up and demand respect, not just for you, but for our hearth, our home, our earth.
