A few days ago, I saw a post about some stumbled across mecha-wrapped/mechagumuri images and toys and thought it would be fun to apply a similar concept to the Mettaton mechas I did a few years ago. From left to right:

Linework underneath, for those who want to want to see the details that got hidden by the coloring.
I'd be very tempted to make these actual toys if I can easily get my hands on those chibi-shaped PVC doll blanks without burning a hole in my wallet.
It's all about the unusual dreams of the Hollow. In general, because of the hollow soul, he technically does not have dreams, as we do. For him, it is more like viewing the ragged memories of himself from the past or the memories of those whom he absorbed. There are also strange visions with a strange child, but that's another time.
Most importantly, these are unique dreams. The joke is that because of the hollow soul, Hollow is, as it were, in a state between life and death. He is neither alive nor dead in the literal sense. Thanks to this, he does not just dream of memories, but alternative events. Simply put, a Hollow in a dream is able to be in the body of another Hollow and through it see all the surrounding events during sleep, but this Hollow is from another multiverse. I think you now understand what I was talking about. Hollow is literally able to see alternative multiverses and their events. In fact, Hollow can see and know both the events of The Underverse and The Multiverse Rescue, but if he's lucky.
Each dream moves him to a random Hollow. And there are just infinitely many variations of Hollow. And yes. On this basis, there is a very important rule: "for every multiverse, there is or was only one Hollow." And more. That doesn't make Hollow omniscient. He simply cannot know all the multiverses, but he has already seen many. And no, the Hollow!Sanses are not able to communicate with each other directly. Only indirectly, and then not successfully. But on the other hand, it makes the Hollow feel that he is not completely alone and there are the same as him, just in other multiverse, and each Hollow in his multiverse can have both his own behavior model and his own design.
Well. This post came out big. In the next post, hopefully the final one, I will tell you about the rest of Hollow's abilities and facts.

I had a Mettaton piano at my disposal, so I made a song and had Nib sing it
The title and inspiration for the song came from a character writing exercise (The 100 Least Important Things To Know About Your Character, by Taily on ComicFury); in one question, Nib coyly answers "I regard the Sun as my spotlight, the Earth as my stage, and the Moon as my midnight lover". Lyrics pending (but what I have so far is kind of risqué! O.o)
Technically speaking, there are four Mettatons in total in this song (more information about this in the post-cut at the end). To which I can't have Nib singing alone, so:
Credits where credits is due:
Gibson by @metakazkz
MV!Mettaton by @tatatale
Mix!Mettaton by @skellend
I'll be uploading each AU Mettaton individually sometime later on this week.
Some more musings under the cut:
Regarding the Mettaton piano:
The Mettaton piano is a soundfont made by ketcham1009. It not a 1-to-1 sound match, and Mettaton's official dialogue voice is actually an amalgamation of nine individual wav files in total. It would be difficult to make a single "true" soundfont from his voice (actually, one has tried, but it is out of tune, and I'm too knackered to figure out how to get it in tune).
Due to the fact I'm only working with one soundfont right now, all the Mettatons have the same voice, but I plan to attempt to make each WAV file into its own custom Mettaton piano, so I can give each Mettaton have a unique voice (pending if I can tune everything right). Granted that I only need 4 voices and I doubt I'd find a need for all 9 unique Mettaton voices (10 if you count ketcham1009's work), but, you never know. :P Fingers crossed I can get it to work.
Regarding the tune:
If you think you'd heard some hints of NSYNC in there, you'd be right, as the tune adopts the bridge from "Bye Bye Bye" and the pre-chorus "The Game is Over". I am concerned as these two songs are actually breakup songs...
