Mystery Girl (Saved by The Bell) *requested*

Summary: everyone in the group have a crush on the reader who happens to be new and mysterious

Pairings : mention of Zack x Reader, Slater x Reader overall the whole gang crushing on the reader

Warnings: none just bad writing

“Mom I’ll be fine,” you said as you sat in your mother broken down car in the parking lot of bayside high “no one will know about my financial problems,”

“Good and let it stay that way,” said your mother as she gripped the steering wheel as she looked at the middle mirror of the car “that’s one thing we don’t need, people constantly gossiping about us,”

“Mom no one is going to gossip,” you said as you looked at your mother “besides I’m dressed as a a cool kid no need to fret,”

“Ok well have a great day at school,” said your mother as she gave you a hug which you happily hugged back before getting out

“Here is the lockers,” said Mr Belding as he gestured to the lockers “yours will be right there,”

“Thanks Mr Belding,” you said as you walked to your locker

Meanwhile there were three girls who looked at you, they were in awe of what they saw, so they approached you

“Hi I love your hair,” said Kelly as she played with the girls hair as she admired the long H/c locks on your head, you turned around before smiling

“Thanks,” you said as you turned around “I’m Y/n L/n,”

“Lisa turtle and May I say I love your sweater,” said Lisa as she smiled at the girl

“Thanks my aunt gave me this for Christmas a few months ago,”

“I’m Kelly,” said Kelly as she gestured to herself before to someone else “and this is Jessie,”

“Hi,” said Jessie as she smiled

“Hello,” you said as you looked at the three girls before looking down at your paper “I don’t mean to ruin the conversation but can you tell me where Mr Tuttle’s class is?”

“Oh I have him next period why don’t I show you where his classroom is?” asked Kelly as she beamed a smile

“Sure,”

You waved bye to the two girls before walking with Kelly

“So are those your friends?” You asked as you pointed you thumb to the girls, Kelly chuckled.

“Yes that’s part of my friends,” said Kelly “I’m friends with two other boys,”

“Cool,” you said as you looked forward “who are these friends of yours?”

Kelly stops you by placing a hand between you two “there’s one of them,”

“Zack!” Shouted Kelly as she waved him over, Zack looked at Kelly before looking at you, and when he looked at you he messed with his hair before strolling over to you

“Well I believe we haven’t met,” said Zack “I’m Zack Morris your future boyfriend,”

Zack takes you hand before placing a kiss on it

“Zack leave y/n alone!” Said Kelly “Zack this is Y/n she’s new to bayside,”

“Well if you need a tour guide I’m right here,” said Zack as he winked at you, you looked at Zack before giggling

“Thanks but I think I can find the classroom on my own,”

After that you left

“It’s official,” said Zack as he strolled over to the booth where sat Slater, Jessie, screech, and Lisa “I found my soulmate,”

“Yeah who is she a blonde bimbo?” Asked Slater as he looked at Jessie laughing at his joke

“No this ones different,” said Zack “her radiant H/c was so beautiful,”

“Hey Kelly I’m here for my job interview,” you said as you beamed a big smile

“Of course,” said Kelly “let’s go in the back and get you set up,”

“Woah your not wrong Preppy,” said Slater as he looked at you and back at Zack “she’s hot,”

“Hey I saw her first,” said Zack

“No we saw her first,” said Lisa as she stood up

Then it all started to become a big bickering mess which leaded to everyone staring at the main 5, that was until Kelly came over

“Guys guys!” Said Kelly as she tried to break up the bickering but it didnt stop

“Hey!”

Everyone stopped and looked at you

“Now I don’t care who started this but this is not how civilized human beings act,” you said “now what going on here?”

“We all think your pretty and we couldn’t settled this ,” said Slater

“Yeah but which one would you rather go out with me or Slater?”

“I don’t know I don’t even know you guys,” laughed y/n “look why don’t we all be friends that way there’s no more fighting,”

“Sounds great,” said everyone as they smiled

“Yeah but who’s cuter? Me or Slater?” Asked Zack

You rolled your eyes before walking away out the door, after you did that Zack turned around and smiled at Slater

“She so wants me,”

“In your dream preppy,” said Slater as he sat back down

A/N: based on episode 17 Love Machine in Season 4.

warnings: fluff, high school drama...

Y/N's POV

"Science projects are due this week. I'm working with Slater on a 'gas-powered turbocharged limousines for the feet.' What? That's what AC called them."

"Excuse us, class. Sorry for the interruption, Mr. Tuttle." Mr. Belding says while walking with a girl I've never seen before.

"Not as sorry as I am." Mr. Tuttle says.

"I have a new student for your class. I'd like for all of you to meet Jennifer Wade."

Everyone including me says Hi to her.

ZACK'S POV

"Whoa! Slater, check out the new girl." I said while turning my head to Slater but he disappeared.

"Slater." I said while I try to stand him up.

"Shh."

"Oh, I'm serious, man. Check her out —."

"Shh. Preppie, I'm in trouble. That's my girlfriend from Germany."

The School Bell rings.

We walk out and I look back in the class at check the girl out again.

Y/N's POV

I walk to Jessie's and Kelly's locker and We hear behind us, "Ladies, Ladies, I want you to make sure that Jennifer feels home. You see, her father's in the army. And she's never been to school here in the States."

"We got it covered, Mr. Belding." I said.

"Yeah, don't worry, she's in great hands." Jessie.

"Thanks for everything, Mr. Belding. I mean, it's really good to be home." Jennifer says.

"Anytime, Jennifer. And remember, here in Bayside, the principal's door is always open." Mr. Belding said and then walks to his office.

ZACK'S POV

"So my family moved, and Jennifer and I never really broke up." Slater says.

"So wait a minute. Now, you're saying that you have two girlfriends?"

Slater nods his head.

"So what's the big deal? That's great."

"Yeah, well, Y/N won't think it's great."

"That's a good point."

"Look, you've gotta help me keep Jennifer and Y/N apart until I can figure out what to do."

"No problem."

Y/N'S POV

I see Slater peeking in the corner with Zack, I wonder what's going on?

"Hey, guys, come on over and meet Jennifer." Jessie says.

"Albert Clifford? Is that you?"

"Albert?" Zack questions.

"Clifford." Kelly questions as well.

I'm so confused Jennifer knows Slater?

"That's why I shortened it to AC."

"I can't believe it! I mean, it's so good to see you, Albert."

So who's she to him?

"You go to school here?" Jennifer says.

"Uh, yeah, yeah. It's great to see you too, Jen."

Jen?

"You two know each other?" I said.

"Sure looks like Al and Jen know each other, Y/N/N." Jessie says.

I look at Jessie.

"Um, Jennifer and I used to live next-door to each other on my dad's army base."

"Really? That's interesting." I say awkwardly.

"Well, why don't we hear more about little Albie over lunch?" Zack jokes.

He never told me about this chick.

"Come on Y/N, let's get to class alright?" Kelly says to me.

"Okay." I said while walking to History.

AT THE MAX

I sit at our usual booth in The Max and sees Zack, Screech, and Jennifer entering and Zack whispers to Screech about something.

"Are the burgers good here?" Jennifer says.

"Yeah the hamburgers are great." Zack says.

"Hey guys! Jennifer, remember this shirt? You gave it to me."

"Yeah. It still looks good."

What?

Jessie and Kelly enters The Max and sits

"So, is Albert a big man on campus here too?"

"Oh yeah. Slater's quarterback of the football team." Kelly says.

"And the captain of the wrestling team." I said.

"And his girlfriend Y/N is a dancer on the dancing squad." Screech says.

Slater looks dumbfounded.

"So, you two are going together?"

I nod, "Yeah." Slater chuckles.

"Oh, gosh, look at the time. I have to meet my guidance counselor now. Excuse me." Jennifer says while getting up to leave.

NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL

I'm working on the project but Slater was supposed to be here 10 minutes ago I wonder where he is?

"You know that Jennifer's a really sweet girl, I'd like to get to know her and Y/N can get to know her." Jessie says while working on her's and Zack's project.

"Yeah, I wouldn't mind that myself." Zack's says.

God he's weird.

"Hey screech can you help us out, Zack and I finally finished our micro-listener?" Jessie says.

I need to listen to this.

SCREECH'S POV

Always a guinea pig to these guys.

"Well, you could have told me you had a girlfriend."

"Well, I never expected to see you Jen."

I hear them. ACT NORMAL!

"Hey screech." Slater says.

I look at him.

"Let me borrow this pen." Slater says while taking the pen away from me. WHAT DO I DO!?

Y/N's POV

"Why does he want her number?" I said.

"Well, the micro-listener works just fine. Let's call it a day!" Zack chuckles.

"Give me that damn thing!" I said.

"Boy, I never expected my girlfriend to show up from halfway around the world." The micro-listener picked up.

I start to tear up, "Girlfriend?"

"Well, yeah, sure. She's a girl, and she's an old friend. There feel better?" Zack says to me.

I walk away from Zack and Jessie and I hear, "Where are you going?" It was from Jessie, "I'm going to break his cheating heart." I said walking out.

BACK HOME

I've been crying for 2 hours now all because of Slater, how could he do this to me?

I hear a knock it's Jessie, Kelly and Lisa.

"Hey. You okay?" Kelly says.

"Right now, no, why would Slater do this?"

"Y/N, men are pigs." Jessie sits down next to me.

"Gee thanks for making me feel better." I said while looking at her.

"Y/N, being in your room and crying isn't going to help your problems." Lisa says.

"I know but I don't know what to do?"

"Talk to him Y/N/N."

"Okay I'll do talk to him." I got out of bed.

"Girls! Dinners ready!" My mom says.

"What are we having for dinner?"

"Your favorite." Jessie says.

"Spaghetti?"

"Yes."

I smiled and walked out my room and the girls followed me out. I have got to talk to Slater.

NEXT DAY

"I'll ask again. Why did you want her phone number?"

"Fine, I needed the number because I couldn't bring myself to tell her in person that it was over."

I don't believe him.

"So, you're telling me that it's over?"

"Yes Mama."

"Alright."

Still don't believe him.

He gets closer to me and gives me a peck on the cheek. I love him.

AT THE MAX

I sitting at our usual booth with Slater, Jessie, and Screech waiting for Jennifer and Zack, I wonder where they could be?

"Hi guys, you all know Jennifer."

"Hi." Jennifer says.

"Hi." Jessie says.

What is going on?

"Do you mind that Jennifer and I sit alone?"

"I don't mind, right Slater, right Y/N?"

"Yes I don't mind." Slater says.

"Uh, yeah, I don't mind."

Zack and Jennifer goes to a booth and sits.

Is Slater and Jessie not telling me something because it feels like it.

"It's getting hot and heavy other there." Kelly says.

"Yeah I guess so." I said.

"Um, Slater, can you tell me what's going on?"

"About Zack and Jennifer, they're in love."

"I know but when did they started dating?"

Jessie and Slater looked at each other.

"What's going on?"

"Look, we wanted to be convincing you."

But why are they doing this to me?

NEXT DAY

"Uh, now our next presenters and Kelly and Screech and the Love Detecter."

Kelly and Screech bring the project in front of the class and Kelly says, "When two people are hooked up to the machine, their feelings for each other are registered on the front scale. Any volunteers?"

"How about Zack and Jennifer?" Jessie says.

What is she doing?

Zack and Jennifer walked up to the machine and Screech hooked them up. It went up to 'Very Compatible', interesting.

"Oh, way to go preppie. Thanks a lot. I asked you to do one favor, and you wind up stealing my girlfriend."

I stand up and say, "She's still your girlfriend?"

"Uh, well, I mean, my old girlfriend. But.. But.. you see, I don't know It's all this stupid machine's fault."

The machine went to 'WOW', how could he do this to me?

"Y/N, wait I.."

I walk out of class and go to the restroom. I cant believe he did this to me!

IN THE RESTROOM

"That's it! The hunk and I are done."

"Y/N, Slater didn't try to deliberately hurt you. He just got caught in a weird situation." Jessie says to me.

"Well he could've come to me he couldn't told me the truth! You know how much we love each other and now, I feel lost, confused and upset Jessie."

Jessie goes up to me and hugs me. "Hey, you're okay. Maybe they can go on a date."

"What?"

"Y/N, sometimes you have to let go of a person to find out if there's something there to hold onto."

"I don't want to lose Slater. I love him."

Jessie hugs me again and I start crying on her shirt.

I go to my locker and found his hoodie he gave me and I start hugging it. I hear footsteps behind me and I turn my head to see Slater heartbroken.

"Y/N, look, I should have told you in the beginning I'm sorry I hurt you."

"Do you still like Jennifer?"

"That doesn't really matter. Your my girl now."

"No, Slater. Look.. It's obvious that you and Jennifer have feelings for each other. You need to go out and see what's really there."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, Jessie told me to say that."

"That sister of yours. Mama, you're the greatest." Slater pecks my cheek.

"Just remember that on your date, Albert Clifford." I smiled.

JESSIE'S POV

"No, I changed my mind. I don't want to go through with this anymore." Zack says.

"My sister's romantic future depends on what happens here tonight. Besides, you like Jennifer too. You want to see her up with Slater?"

"No, But come on, why do I have to dress up as the old lady?"

"Because the support hose we're cutting off my circulation. Now stop complaining. We got the senior discount, didn't we?"

Zack and I sat on the row behind Slater and sees what's happening.

"What do you think? Does it look like they're bonding?"

"No way. They're still eating popcorn from separate tubs."

Slater shushes us.

"Sorry, sonny." I said in a old man's voice.

"Hey, You're going to love this movie, Jen. I heard Mel Gibson is great in it." Slater says in a quiet voice.

"Actually, I'm getting tired of Mel Gibson. I like Kevin Costner now."

"Kevin Costner?"

"Mm-hmm."

"Yeah, he's okay. I guess."

"What'd they say? I cant hear them." I said to Zack.

"I don't know. My girdle's killing me."

Zack goes closer to them and Slater looks at him and says, "Can I help you with something?"

"Uh, you just back up there because see I have mace in here." Zack hesitates.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

"Yes, you should be because there's people like you that don't make it safe for us anymore. No. You bad boy."

I yank Zack back to me and says, "What are you doing? You're going to blow it."

"Great. You just broke your bra."

"Jennifer, let's move." Slater says while Jennifer and him move to a different seat.

We move with them.

"Hey, it's fun being together like this again, isn't it Jen."

"If you don't mind, I like being called Jennifer now."

"Oh, Sorry."

"That's okay, Albie."

Albie, Y/N would be calling him that for now on.

"While we're on name changes, it's, uh, AC now, not Albie. And please can Clifford."

"Great. I can't hear them." I said.

"Well, it doesn't look so good form here." Zack says.

"Ow." Slater groans.

"What's wrong." Jennifer says.

"My neck hurts. Someone twisted it this morning."

"Well, here. Let me rub it for you."

"Oh, Great."

"Oh, my god, they're going to kiss."

"I need to leave and tell Y/N what happened." I said.

AT THE MAX (Y/N's POV)

"Hey, Kelly, check out that old couple. They keep making weird noises." Screech says.

I wonder what's keeping Jessie so long she told me she was going to be here 10 minutes ago.

Slater enters The Max and says, "Hey. Kelly. Excuse me, folks. Have you seen Zack, Jessie, or maybe Y/N? We need to talk to them."

Jessie and Zack takes off their disguises and I, I can't believe it they have been here all along.

I walk over to them and Slater says, "You mean you were the two old greezers in the movies?"

"Jessie, why would you do this?"

"To protect you Y/N."

I just look at her and I'll never apologize to her by her doing this.

"Y/N, Jennifer and I are just friends. You're my girl."

I smile and AC hugged me. I'm so happy he's mine.
