honestly, I rarely buy clothes new. I get most from second hand shops. But when I do buy clothes new, I like stores like Dry Goods and Brandy for cutesy stuff. I get most of my academia/formal wear from a vintage garment shop, but my favorite pair of slacks is from Target. And for alternative stuff, the only thing I buy new are tights/fishnets from Hot Topic or wherever. The rest are just old band tees and grandpa sweaters from my dad.

So the answer is that I shop everywhere bc I have a shopping addiction and I really need to be stopped. xoxo

POV: You wanna be light/dark academia so bad but you're broke as hell and you share a room, so the best you can do is borrow books from the library and scroll the Shein going "Damn I wish I could wear that" and the items just stuck in your Wishlist 'cause you know damn well you don't have the money for it and you only dream of decorating your room like a vintage office because (first of all, you're broke) the person you share it with will look at you like your crazy, so you just sit there, in pain, scrolling though social media as you see people looking absolutely gorgeous in their blazers and pleated skirts and you're just here in a hoodie and jeans
