Hi! Thank you so much for this kind note! I apologize for the delay- I took a Tumblr/social media break for Easter (queues have been running here) and I forgot to post that I would be interacting in limited amounts!
It makes me so happy to hear that Strange Days has been there for you and it’s so nice to hear from long time readers who still follow.
I do think about Strange Days and my other AA wips everyday. During Covid I have been in a creative rut/depression; esp when many found energy to be creative, I basically curled into a ball to just exist. Thankfully I am re-energized in fandom once again, and while I’ve been focusing on Hypnosis Microphone lately, my heart is very much with Strange Days, Funbling Towards You, and Heard Your Heart Beating.
I really love the world I built for SD and so I really want to return to finish it when I have time- I have a very demanding creative job during the day so it’s hard to be creative after work hours at times.

477,998. i'll hit 500k by the end of niecest weekend <3
3. What fandoms do you write for?
well, right now, mainly mdzs and a little bit for ace attorney. i've been known to write for arcane, and a little for svsss and star trek snw. everything else is for assorted various fandoms as the whims come and go, but those are the main ones.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
A Punishment Most Sweet, niecest pwp 2.2k.
Too Close for Comfort, niecest pwp 4.9k, for the love of god read the tags before diving in.
Iridescent, smutty and romantic niecest longfic, featuring canon divergence right from the very start! it's 109k.
Prey, niecest (and nhs/tentacles) pwp 6.7k. once again, if you get squeamish, read the tags first.
Any Other Name, niecest omegaverse pwp with bitching and bottom nmj, 6.9k.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
absolutely! i always do unless it's a hate comment or something like that. i really love getting to interact with people who love the same characters i do; tbh it's one of the biggest reasons i write fanfic in the first place.
6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Final Entry. i genuinely cried while writing it and i have a secret, alternate ending stashed away just for me because it was so difficult to handle at times.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
i think that the one that has the most uncomplicated happy ending is A Thousand Ways to Say I Love You, tbh. most of my fics end happily though, in varying degrees. it's because i'm a sap XD
8. Do you get hate on fics?
not usually! i have a few times, but it's not very common for me.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
over half of my fics include smut, and it's of various kinds. i am a creature that thrives on variety, so it's difficult for me to do one thing over and over again. i have some things i won't write, but even things i'm very neutral towards or even mildly squicked by, i'll usually still give them a go at least once.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
i haven't posted one yet, though i've had a disco elysium/mdzs crossover in mind for probably a year now? idk if i'll ever get to writing it because i'm too intimidated to write disco elysium fic, but the vibes are good for myself at least.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
not that i know of!
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
yes! once again, it's Final Entry, translated into Chinese. i nearly cried when the translator asked to, it was so sweet 😭💖
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
nope! when i was young i tried to write with someone else a few times and it really didn't go well, but now i don't think i would be opposed to the idea. it seems a little difficult, because of writing speeds and styles and everything else, but if someone wanted to try with me then i'd probably be game.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
well, okay. i think empirically, i have to say that it is niecest. i've never written this many fics for a ship before ever. honorable mentions to xisang, which anchored me into the mdzs fandom, and miamaya from ace attorney which is my most recent obsession.
15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
well, i have about a million wips, and so it's unrealistic to think that i would ever be able to finish them all. but on my other account i have a xisang modern au that's just told through poetry written by nhs, which i hope to finish someday but the "write poetry" juice is not terribly common for me, alas. i don't think i'll ever finish it.
16. What are your writing strengths?
i think internal monologues are my biggest strength when writing. it's certainly the part that i enjoy the most, and i think that definitely shows through even after i've edited it all. also, i think i'm pretty good at smut tbh, and at turning smut into opportunities to showcase where the character(s) is(are) at emotionally. and... writing very long sentences XD
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
dialogue 👍 which is fucking hilarious because when i was a teen, i could write dialogue all day long and it was my favorite part of the process. but now it's nearly always like pulling teeth, and i'm often not satisfied with it even when i'm done.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
i think the only language i'd feel comfortable doing that for, if it were more than just a word here or there, is Spanish. i love seeing it in fic though, when i'm reading! but yeah, i'm just not enough of a polyglot to feel comfortable pulling it off myself, generally.
with mdzs/untamed fanfic, i operate under the assumption that the characters are all speaking Mandarin Chinese unless otherwise specified, so i'll use a specific dialogue tag if it's important that they're speaking in another language.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
the ranger's apprentice series--i loved it when i was younger. none of the fanfic remains, unfortunately. when i was a young adult i got embarrassed by what i'd written for it and burned the notebook holding my earliest fanfic, and then through the internet i've lost another long one that was for that same series and universe. i still have an original novel i wrote that was loosely based on that fanfic, though.
20. Favorite fic you've written?
i think... for now, it's still Iridescent. that might change with my next longfic, but since it's currently my only very long fanfic that's finished, it's difficult not to be attached to it.

10. How do you decide what to write?
It's usually the AO3 matching algorithm that chooses for me, given that most of my fics have been for fanwork exchanges! 😌
A less tongue-in-cheek answer: when considering the pairings and tropes I'll offer for an exchange, I’ll usually look for one of the following:
- inspiring requests for fandoms I've written recently
- open-ended prompts that would fit with something I already wanted to write
- old fandoms of mine I would enjoy reviewing (when I have enough time on my plate to do so)
Even when I’m not doing exchanges, most of my other fics have been created for some challenge or request or prompt. I usually just need something to spark an idea, and if the first little bit of fuel is provided by someone else, the creativity process feels a little less lonely.
Conversely, it’s very rare for me to spontaneously write a fic because I felt the desperate need to share a story! I recall only three periods of my life when this has happened: when I first discovered fanfic as a kid (so many weird HP AUs…), when Mass Effect: Andromeda came out and I finished the game in two days in some sort of fugue state (writing near 10k of Rydam fanfic in a week), and … now with the Meresino.
Two cakes and all that, but I think there’s a part of me that’s uncomfortable with writing something unless I know it’s not been written before? And I can’t guarantee that unless it’s a very small pairing or very new lol.
Much to think about!!
12. Are there any tropes you used to dislike but have grown on you?
I don't really strongly disliked any tropes, but I never really understood the appeal of omegaverse until I read some excellent Ace Attorney ones that dug more into the gender roles and worldbuilding tropes of the genre — after I took that plunge with some trusted authors I was like oh I get it now. It’s still not something I seek out frequently, but I don’t automatically discount it now!
17. What highly specific AU do you want to read or write even though you might be the only person to appreciate it?
I know I’ve told you and others on twitter about this before but Meresino train controller AU. I have a lot of the characters’ respective roles planned out and a few different arcs I think it would be fun to explore.
Meredith is a train controller and Orsino is a signaller, of course. They both think the network would fall apart without them, and they’re right, but they also are yet to truly appreciate just how vital they are to each other’s roles.
Basically, train controllers have more responsibility when it comes to managing liability: making sure the signallers under their direction are given the information needed to do their jobs, and responding to emergency situations. BUT at the end of the day, it’s actually the signaller at the controls, and they need each other, even though they might hate each other times. … There’s a lot of tension, both sexual and otherwise!
(There’s even rumours that in other countries the signaller and train controller roles have been combined but Meredith’s just like ‘sounds fake but okay’)
Anyway, in terms of supporting characters, there’s Hawke, the beleaguered union organiser who used to work in the aviation industry. She’s dating Anders, who is doing a lot of grassroots organising around improving the transport system (and hence doesn't loop Hawke into his plans because he doesn't want to undermine the work she does in the union).
Cullen is one of the department's current union delegates and is basically being punted back and forth by management and Hawke like a football. He is very out of his depth but by he is trying his best!
Anyway, it's chaotic and everyone is trying so hard but they all have very different definitions of success, and what sacrifices they're willing to make to achieve it.
And Kirkwall is a mess, like usual.
Some days, the city's rail network is brought down by errant dragons.
Some days, it's brought down by a nug nibbling through essential wiring.

I had seen laquisse's art of franziska in a cool sorcerer outfit and wanted to see more stuff like that, so i searched ace attorney au into tumblr. couple posts in i see art of pheonix and miles sprite redraws but w baby apollo and trucy in those lil bby carriers. i think its cute! theyre dads! and then i see the post's first tag is ace attorney omegaverse au.
unfortunately that is the risk one takes when delving into fandom tags on this hellsite. i am sorry you had to experience that. ah omegaverse, my feelings on you are complicated at best.

Fandom: Ace Attorney
Instead of working on the fic I told myself I’d work on on the train this morning I instead kept working on my Ace Attorney omegaverse AU nobody asked for. Hey, at least it’s writing.
This does have a companion piece but that one requires a lot more words so... maybe later.

“Isn’t it normally the omega who nests in the late part of the pregnancy?” Athena asks as she and Apollo watch as Phoenix continues to deep clean the entirety of the WAA instead of just the bathroom.
“Why is he cleaning the office anyway. Is Chief Prosecutor Edgeworth even going to let you bring the baby here?” Apollo asks. He wouldn’t be bringing a newborn to this office in any great hurry and he’s pretty sure Chief Prosecutor Edgeworth has even higher standards
“Daddy Miles kicked daddy out of the apartment when he tried to rearrange the apartment,” Trucy says, sitting cross-legged on Apollo’s desk while watching her father work.
“One,” Phoenix says stopping what is probably the first deep clean the office has ever gotten for the first time that day, “both parents get the nesting instinct whether they’re having or adopting a new child into the pack. Two, Miles didn’t shoo be out of the apartment and away from his own nesting he just needed a job big enough to keep his mind off the work he could be doing at the Prosecutors Office and rearranging the apartment happens to be the perfect job. And three, Miles is going back to work as soon as he’s able and I’ll be taking our child to work with me seeing as it’s not against the rules of this office.”
“Right,” all three of the other employees of the WAA say, doubt thick in their voices.
“So you haven’t decided on a name for the kid yet boss?” Athena asks.
“Not yet,” Phoenix says with a slump. “Picking a name is so hard. Like it’s going to be Their Name and what if they don’t like it. At least you three already came with names.”
“You mean Trucy did,” Apollo says despite now being well-used to being lumped into Phoenix Wrights Kid somehow.
“Yes, of course,” Phoenix says, absent-mindedly.
“Well I’m certainly excited to meet him whatever his name,” Trucy says.
“Considering his parents are two of the highest minds in our legal system I’m sure they’ll be a excellent defence lawyer one day,” Athena says.
Phoenix just winces.
“Don’t let Miles hear you say that,” he says.
“Why not boss?”
“I’m going to guess Chief Prosecutor Edgeworth isn’t on board with his kid becoming a defence attorney,” Apollo answers for his boss.
“He’s not against it!” Phoenix quickly says. “But we also agreed we wouldn’t try and influence him one way or the other. He might not even decide to go into law.”
Both Athena and Apollo snort at that.
“We just want him to be happy,” Phoenix continues. “Right now though I need to move the desk over – I think having a big open space in the middle of the office will look the most inviting to clients.”

Specific Fandom Search!
Happy almost holidays! I’m Meg, Maggy, or Mew! A 20 year old college student who rps for fun! With classes nearly over I’m going to have a lot more time for roleplays, so I figured I’d post an add! Right now there are some specific fandoms I’m looking to rp for my side, however I’m willing to do almost anything for your side as long as I know the material!
General rules:
I’m looking for someone who doubles if the rp is oc/cannon!
Either Oc/Cannon or Cannon/Cannon. If you want oc/oc that’s fine, just give me the info I need.
At least one paragraph per side. (I tend to match my partner’s length and I’m usually pretty lax on the length, just no one liners.) I write third person, you write however you want. Just not chatspeak unless the characters are texting or IMing one another.
Be 18+ and ok with smut!
Don’t cross my limits (No gore, vore, watersports/scat, or beastiality (anthros and furries are ok!) Please let me know your limits because I’m more or less open to anything else.
Try and get a reply out once a week.
Have decent grammar/spelling, I’m not picky about this but I need to understand your response.
I’m really not interested in originals at the moments!
