I don't trust people who pretend that Dual Destines and Spirit of Justice don't exist. Because by missing them you miss some really good shit such as
The entire character of Athena Cykes
Her backstory. Much more interesting and compelling than whatever was Apollo in his debut game up to
Blackquill siblings
Athena Cykes
Rayfa Padma Khura'in, this cute little button
New game mechanics. Mood Matrix for one looks nifty imo
Also the new lawyer character who uses it, Athena Cykes!
Apollo Justice actually has a character arc there!
Did I mention Athe *gets shot*

Is Simon Blackquill rich?? Like, they wrongfully kept him on death row for 7 freakin years, then it was revealed that due to negligence in the investigation, he was wrongfully convicted. Did the courts just shrug and go “Sorry, I guess?” and the ordeal was solved??
I don’t think so
In this situation he could and probably would sue them for a bunch of money, so he’s probably loaded as heck, right?? Idk, just a thought. It’s just funny to headcanon him as super duper rich.

Just noticed something very cool about Blackquill's theme. In it, you can hear a bell, like a funeral bell ringing.
For whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee (Simon Blackquill)
It's just a really neat subtle way to show that Blackquill's days are numbered, and that it is almost time for his death to come.

i fucking love the concept of bobby fulbright so much. they make you fall in love with this stupid himbo and then turn around and say he’s behind multiple murders and bombings and has actually been dead for a year. like HELLO what a good way to do a twist villain
