i don't get the leap in logic that because someone supports the trans men that do want and need to be seen as feminine men and want/need to wear feminine clothing and be addressed by feminine terms means that they've become a conservative who's "wrapped back around" and is saying that trans men "need to give up and go back to wearing dresses"- that's some "so doth hates potatoes?" shit right there.

at least when i say this it means that i love and support all trans men and what's best for the individual trans man.

let that part sink in: i want what's best for every single trans man. if never being near a feminine name, term or article of clothing ever again is what's best for you, i want that for you, too. if you need to be seen as the most macho dude in the room, i want that for you, too. if being seen as a feminine man who is not a woman but a femme man is the most important thing to you, i want that for you, too. if you need to be seen as a gender non conforming man, i want that for you, too. if you need to be seen as a genderqueer man, i want that for you, too. if you need to be seen as a nonbinary man, i want that for you, too.

whatever it is that you need to be seen as a man, i want that for you, too.

accepting what's good for another trans man does not mean adopting that for yourself if it's not right for you. accepting and embracing that some trans men need to be feminine does not mean that we are saying that all trans men have this need; you do not have to make another trans man's euphoria (or dysphoria) about yourself, and we can co-exist happily and peacefully as a diverse community of men who embrace our differences, and our similarities. capiche? wonderful

Dawning Gay

my take on the gay flag!

similar to how i made nightfall lesbian, Dawning gay is more of an alt flag than anything, not a replacement for the vincian flag.

queer attraction = not every gay is strictly a boy or gonna be solely attracted to men let alone in a romantic or sexual way, so the attraction is just always queer in some way

gender nonconformity = not every gay is a typical masc/bear gay conforming to societal norms of being connected to masculinity

individuality = includes independence, every gay has an independent different experience with their identity, every gay experience is different for each individual.

community = very important for us to recognize we are and have a community

loving or loveless = includes gay aros who are loveless, love preferable or love repulsed, as well as includes love in all forms or no love at all (love is not required for your identity, but all forms of love and attraction are valid)

pride in gay history = gays, including trans and mspec gays, have existed for centuries and gay history, let alone queer history, is something to be proud of

solidarity = solidarity between gays of all kinds regardless of whatever other labels you may use.

gay aro & gay ace flag !

So I wanted to make new aro gay and ace gay flags this time based on blending the flags with the ocean gay flag (which I actually did with my aroace gay flag but didn't mention that because I was anxious over all the hate the ocean gay flag was getting at the time). I got the inspiration from blending the flags together and then matching them to the aro stripe numbers and ace stripe numbers respectively. The color pattern on the aro flag is flipped to make it look more distinct from the gay and aro flags (and also makes sense with the colors on the ace flag looking flipped too)

I like these better than my old ones! More original :]
