The reason things are by default harder for chronically ill folks is because the energy abled bodied people use to actually do things, we have to use just to exist. Meaning it takes at minimum twice as much effort to lead a normal life. And yet I’m seen as lazy. You wouldn’t last an hour in my body. I’m in it for life.

“What is wrong with me?” Question after question. Nothing still is answered to my liking.

“Stop beating yourself up all of the time.” I cant help it. It bothers my self esteem.

From the time I could remember I knew that I was different and didn’t fit into this world like the others. My magic powers from dreams that rainbowed in my mind at night never seemed to happen while I was awake. Flying, growing taller and shrinking when I wanted to, disappeared in the daylight hours. I just want to go back to the time period when things where easier to comprehend. I didn’t have to explain myself because my imagination told it all. My mind was brighter than the sun, even brighter than the fullest first moon. I used to howl at the moon and now as an adult I feel like a fool to even attempt such a thing.

My powers are invisible to the naked eye and invisible to my own self. My light dimmed down to crush my spirit. My spirit now dark like the shadows in the autumn nights. Learning how to heal my childhood wounds as an adult isn’t fun. Yes its hard. Yes I’ve tried. Yes I’ve cried..in hiding. Weakness grew onto me as society forced me to shed my true self away. All I wanted was to fit in just like the others but I soon realized.. at almost middle age..that that wasn’t a good thing overall. Even my own parents weren’t 100% together as I thought they were. It seems like no matter how old you are, those wounds still don’t heal as properly as they should. Ripping the Band-Aid only allows bacteria to invade. Which will only prolong the process that was at hand to heal. Even though healing is symptomatic it still has is disadvantages. Such as, the VERY uncomfortable feeling that you get when those flashbacks replay in your head. The feeling of self disappointment that you get when u realize how many things or people you allowed to hurt your innocence. No one told me that it would be this hard to heal. Yet no one told me that every decade is similar to the one that passed.

Age is displayed as a number yet age is felt as if nothing had changed in x amount of time. The process must be accomplished whether or not I feel up to it. The reason is because even if I choose to start over physically, mentally, and emotionally; I will have to learn the method over and over again until I am finished my spiritual journey breaking generational cycles. Who knows when that’ll be. One thing for sure , I will succeed whether I have the support or not. I must support myself and my own dreams.

Things fall apart in order to fall into the right place.

Remember that.

my biggest flaw is I see everyone as humans and nothing else. oh you’re a manager and you’ve been here twenty years? doesn’t mean anything to me. same level as my entry level job. you’re a ceo and a billionaire? do not care. you are all worth the same because I know adults don’t exist and it’ll all just kids with money and responsibilities. no one is allowed to have any sort of authority over me.

Just like the moon

We go through phases

We can't just be thankful for our bright moments.

Our dark moments draw us inward and help us look deeper within our soul.

Each lunar cycle is necessary since it gives off a different energy

We are not different from the moon there is meaning in each phase that represents beginnings and endings

Recognize each phase of your life, take advantage of the energies of your own unique cycles and it will lead you to a deeper connection with yourself.
