HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLICK!!

A gay and trans KING, this bug-loving chameleon replaces his dad Nat as the head of the Bug-Off! Flick is also an artist who visits the island in his free time to collect gorgeous models to inspire his work, which he will then generously allow us to commission off of him! Like his boyfriend CJ, he sports their business logo, his on the back of his jacket, and CJ on his cap! The two are close “roommates” who just so happen to only have one bed and one bedroom, who do everything together, speak highly of each other, and go on coffee dates together constantly (along with sharing a vacation home in 99.9% of islands I’ve visited). So if he arrives today, wish him a very happy birthday, and gift him a whole swarm of bugs!

i think part of why its so annoying to me is bc it completely misunderstands what the point of animal crossing even is. its not a fast paced game thats constantly changing and updating. it is a simple. slow. calm game. where you just live through each day. it was never ever a flashy exciting series thats not what it is meant to be. and thats fine if u as the player get bored of it but it doesnt mean that its time for the next game. we dont NEED the next game yet we really dont. nothing would be massively added or changed like be real with urself dude

#the ONLY thing that would be different is the setting #and lets be honest theres not much else for them to even do #the next game will probably return to the acnl setting of u being mayor of a town #there wouldnt be a big graphics change. thwre wouldnt be any big gameplay changes #thered be a few new npcs and villagers but even then itd just be more of retiring old characters to replace them with new one #bc what could they even add that isn’t already there????#anch is a game meant to be enjoyed for years. there is no end to it. u just play #FAWK #im in such a bad mood rn and thats why im ranting but whatever id rather rant abt animal crossing than other shit

I took like. A 6 month hiatus but picked up Animal Crossing new leaf again, this was a month ago. I've been breifly going on daily, but Isabelle just appeared at my door and it's been 1 year since I started this town.

Worst part about the jump from a new leaf to acc nh is Nintendo became progressive and the npcs don't point out your crossdressing anymore. The characters actually had unique dialog if you were a boy in a dress but obviously they didn't say anything if you were a girl in pants <- guy who played as a girl when acnl came out but transitioned a few years later and restarted as a boy

Random assortment of headcanons (special NPCs)

((Remember, these are my personal hcs of the AC characters, some might be somewhat based on canon, some are completely made by me and not meant to be taken as canon.))

-Tom and Sable actually have a very dark sense of humor, they just hide it.

-Leila (Kapp'n's daughter) has a speech impediment, she's an older kid, the "baby speech" shown in the game, is because of that.

-Timmy and Tommy have a speech impediment too, the repeating after its sibling thing it's a way to cope and improve their speech.

-Mabel suffered from frostbite at some point of her childhood, now her fingertips and completely numb.

-Isabelle's teeth are slightly crooked and shaped weird, due to her tendency to open everything with her mouth.

-Sounds like a joke, but Dr. Shrunk has a real psychology degree.

-Lloyd has a whole team of contractors made and run entirely by gyroids, and yes, you guessed it, all of them are named after him.

-Jack can shift sizes and appearence, but to not intimidate mortals he sizes around the height of the villager.

-Brewster is not awkward, he's just silent, however, depending on the person, he can cause awkwardness on them.

-Also, just like Shrunk, Pascal has an actual degree on marine biology, he just wasted in on pot and a boathouse.

-Lottie wears a lot of makeup because she's very baby faced and wants to look of her age.

-Celeste hasn't graduated yet, she'll graduate soon tho.

-Considering his shanties, Kapp'n is a HUGE momma's boy, but not in an unhealthy way.

-With adequate sleep and outside of her job, while still pretty snappy, Phyllis becomes easier to approach.

-As much as Harvey hates technology, he had to get a phone because harriet basically forced him to, of course its all because if there's an emergency, she gets to know. She got him a flip phone, no complicated technology bs for Harvey.

-Rover went to college with Nook before quitting college.

-As I mentioned before, Gulliver is pretty much dead, probably died between ACCF and ACNL, pretty recently.

-Resetti has two children (that are already adults), he hasn't seen them is quite a while, often leaving him thinking all he could've done wrong.

-Harriet's hair has an odd shape because of a failed diy perm.

-Blathers is an actual insomniac, Celeste on the other hand is a night owl with no insomnia.

-As I mentioned before, there are two faceless fellows, Blanco and Blanca, I decided to make them twins since 1. They had their sexes changed on their release (male in Japan, female on the rest of the world) 2. They seem to be in charge of different roles.

-Talking about Blanco and Blanca again, they seem to have favorite victims subjects, Rover seems to be Blanco's favorite, while Blanca only appears if she's interested enough in you.

hello fellow filthy casuals

Hello and welcome to my gaming blog! I’m @singull and this here is where I post all about video game shit. I’m a horrible easy mode player and I’ve hated Anders since playing Awakening lmao.

I primarily play games with stories (RPGs that allow me to make my own protagonist are my top favorites), but I’m also a slut for games that allow me to make a town, settlement, city, what have you…that said I’m not super keen into the management-type games. I just want to make snazzy looking places and watch NPCs roam them.

The Dragon Age series is my main boo that I’m always clowning for, but I also enjoyed Mass Effect, Cyberpunk 2077, and the Final Fantasy games. I also spent more time than I thought I did playing and replaying Grand Theft Auto V lmao. I’m also obsessed with the Devil May Cry series, but I’ve only ever properly played through and finished the fifth game bahaha (thank you YouTube game movies).

Other than the time I invested several years of my life on the first Destiny game, I’m not into online shit. I prefer to play on my own, thank you very much. Destiny really was fucking sweet though and right up my alley for Aesthetics…

Happy Birthday Mabel!

Mabel Able, the most outgoing of the able sisters, and quite possibly the fastest due to her blue quills! She is the baby of the family, raised by her older sister Sable after their parents died. She loves selling clothes, and is a one-hedgehog hype house for both her sisters designs, selling Sable’s sewing and Label’s fashions! She may argue with her siblings, but they always eventually make up because they are a tight knit family (yes that was a pun)! Stop in and buy some clothes today, and wish Mabel a very happy birthday!

I just want animal crossing and minecraft to do a fusion dance

Like seriously minecraft, especially modded with cocricot, is so much easier to decorate and design and build the perfect place for you to live.

But it feels so empty.

And I don’t have people I play minecraft with frequently enough to make these worlds feel inhabited. To make them have meaning. Because I do play with my friends, but we don’t stick to the same world long enough (partially my fault because I love to mess with mods) and we never really ‘make characters’ or anything to make the world feel inhabited. We just kinda hop on and build some stuff and then leave.

Worlds just feel like empty, beautiful husks without life and characters living in it.

I want villagers that actually talk to me. Villagers that want to be friends with me. That I can make fun characters of and just live in a happy little escapist magic fantasy world. And if my irl friends visit, they can make friends with them too.

The mods these days that I can find just aren’t scratching that itch.

We need Minecraft Comes Alive back again. Or Custom NPCs. Or some alternative that lets actual characters exist in your world.
