to be honest, I almost forgot the novella is coming hahaha I feel like it has barely been mentioned?! (if anyone knows anything, pls feel free to reblog, but I think the focus has mostly been on cc since the drop of acosf anyways)

if I remember correctly, the novella was said to be “political”? whatever that means. so not necessarily focused on a couple, which makes it difficult for me to come up with any ideas tbh. I always thought it might focus on more and emerie but I feel like sjm could go in any direction. like I could even see her focus on vassa and jurian.

it also makes me wonder when the novella is dropping. is it after hofas? or is it after acotar 5? or perhaps to finish off the series? I think it should probably drop between acotar 5 and acotar 6, maybe to set up the elucien book and that is why I also think there will not be many elucien moments because she will focus on them in their own book 🫶 maybe just little things like glances and blushing etc.

friendly reminder: hofas is a crescent city book, not an acotar book. the focus is on the cc characters, plot, and journey. acotar characters may be making a cameo and play some part in it, but it is not about them. whatever will happen will not be about them but about bryce and co. don't go into it expecting answers or you'll be judging the book in a negative light for the wrong reasons.

I know that the little novella isn’t really a fan favorite because there was not plot or action but I loved it because of that. It gave me a mental and emotional break and it was like their little Christmas special.

It was so fluffy which all of them needed so badly from the shit that happened previously lol. I loved the bat boys little snowball fight scene so much lol and it was a perfect ending to Feyre and Rhys’ trilogy and helped set up for the next few books.

AAA YES it’s genuinely the perfect cozy little holiday read and I’m so excited to read it in the upcoming days eek 💗 !! it’s just a little glipse into their lives after the war and I think it’s perfect for that.

Why do ppl still think Azriel is getting his own book… and getting the next one?? Sarah has confirmed that the sisters were getting their own books.

We had Nesta and now it’s Elain’s turn. Why would she give us Feyre and Nesta’s story and then throw in Azriel right after? Makes absolutely no sense.

Sarah’s also been clear and if you listen to her wording she has said “Elain’s book” like 2-3 times before in interviews. And she’s only ever said Azriel’s journey/story in interviews… I mean put two and two together. Also, it’s funny how Lucien is never brought up though and his journey… she’s talked about Elain and Azriel though…. She did say the next book is pretty obvious. Obvious is the next sister getting her story told, obviously.

Azriel will get his story told, but he won’t get his own book and we’ve seen his pov now…and we know Elain’s book is next. Which means he’ll be the other pov in Elain’s book bc Sarah already opened us up to his pov which means we will continue to see his pov in the next book, the next book which is Elain’s book.
