Tav Question
Pretend for a minute your Tav is an origin character. Origin characters have a main story with scenes in each of the three acts, as well as a three act romance structure (usually with check points in the form of their main story scenes but sometimes with affinity). I will be doing questions for each act, both the main story and the romance story.
What is your character’s ACT TWO main story? How do you meet them? What do you learn about them in act two? Do any special scenes trigger for them?

Welcome to Nowhere: Your First Monster
The wind howls in your ears, and yet you somehow still manage to hear the crunch of grass beneath your feet. The sky is perfectly blue— too blue, actually. How does that make any sense? You don’t know. You just think it’s… unnatural. It’s unnervingly bright to the point where it’s giving you a headache. Given the fact that there seems to be a windstorm occurring, you would think there would be at least a couple of clouds.
You look up, where Gaia is marching forward against the gale. Bea is ahead of her, eagerly sniffing at the hill and inching slowly up it. While Gaia seems to hardly struggle at all, this is not the case with Emerson, who is trudging behind you.
Gaia looks back at the two of you and shouts something. Unfortunately, the wind steals it away before it can reach you. Gaia turns back around and continues the climb.
You pause, waiting a bit for Emerson to catch up.
“Thanks,” he huffs once he reaches you. “I appreciate that.”
You nod, then turn to look for Gaia. They’ve disappeared from view, as has Bea.
“I wonder—” Emerson pauses for breath— “if they’ve reached the top yet.”
You shrug. “Maybe.”
“Well, it seems that the wind is dying down a bit.” They take in one more large breath. “Let’s get going before it picks back up again.”
It doesn’t take you too much longer to reach the top of the “hill.” Given its steepness, you would have preferred to call it an “oddly round cliff.” Gaia is sitting in the grass in the center of it, petting Bea.
“Took you two long enough,” they say, standing back up. The wind has died down to a light breeze now, and you have no issue hearing them.
“Did we?” You don’t think so…
“Sorry,” Emerson says sheepishly. “I held us up.”
?͋ͪͤͬ͏̗̙̭?̞͖̩̭̟͔̃ͯ͑͝ͅ?̷͍͙̹̿̃̈́̍ţ̶̗̘̮̞͚͉̰̘̟͙̗̗̂̓ͤ̅͑́'͉͕̤͈̏̆̓͡?̰̥̫̜̖̘̮̓̂͝ ̙̟̗̜͍̱̅ͩͬ͝?͔̜̦͔̤̝͇̎̓͘?̍͏̖̹̪̦?̤̯̺̖ͭ̇͒͠ͅṯ̸̼͍̰̖̼͖̍ͅ
You flinch. There’s something… there was something… fuzzy.
“Rue?” Emerson looks at you with what you’ve come to know as an expression of concern. “You okay?”
You pause, waiting to see if it will come back. Did you imagine it? You must have…
“Yeah, I’m fine,” you say.
“Well,” Gaia says, “I think I know where our monster is.”
You look around. There isn't anything here.
Gaia walks to the edge of the hill, pointing downward. “Just about halfway down the other side.”
Both you and Emerson follow, peering down. Halfway down the hill, a large wooden structure grows from the ground. It’s twisted at odd angles and filled with holes.
A sharp pain erupts inside your head, then fades into a quiet fuzz.
?̢̭̣̪̝͈̪̠͋̄̑͆?̶͓͈͎̺̼̫͐͆ͭ ̩̱̟͙̺̮̩͆̀?̛͕͋̊̉ͅ?̪͉̩͍̦̫̯̻͊̓͞?̶͔̲̫̼̲̮͋!̨̤̮̥̝͈̄̒ ̘͕͍̜̥̰̭̂ͯ̈̀?̨̜̫̯͖̪͓̊ͭê̵͖̠ͫ̃ ̶̞̼̝̟̪̋̉̍͛?̵̼̺̤̫̲͖̳̒̾ēͬͧ͂҉̺̲͚͔̣̣̖͖?̡̹͕̝̱ͤ͗̄!̧̪̞̘̼͍̬̭̯͐ ̮̺̹̰̺͔ͯͪͨ́?̶̙̲͇͖͎͌ͩͭ̚?̶̺̗̖̼ͤͬ ̷̘͎̩̱͙ͯͥ̔ͅ?̱͈̳ͮ͂͡?̡͚͈̤̗̬̹̬ͯͅĕ̏̍̑҉͕͇̱͇̮͓̣ ̨̥̯̺͚͍̟͙̜ͯ̅?̵̝̠͔̝͑̇̐ͅ?̢̤̟ͫ͐̈́̔?͐̅̄͏̤̣̯̪ ̴͓͚̼̹̘̮͖͖̀ͥ̃ͨ?̗̯̺̣̲͚ͦ͜ḽ̹̰̳̩̳͈̐ͫ͒͞?̶̝̥̔͐?̸̰͙̯̟̲̽ͅ?̢̞̪̳͎͒̌̓ ̻̠͚̜̹͇̱͈ͫͥ͡ẖ̠̄̑̄͞?̺̖̭̣̩͔͔̾͝?̂̽̆҉̫̰͔͚̠̤̹̰ẹ̺̅͐͜.͓͎͙̩̟̈́ͦ́̉̀.̴̫̖͈̖̳̘͔͒.̛͖͍͍̞̪̤̅͑
You let out a yelp.
Gaia, Emerson, and Bea all turn to you with a startled expression. Bea…
It’s there! Again! Wait, but not anymore… It’s gone. Vanished. Was it ever there? Is it still there?
You blink. What were you thinking about again?
“Rue?” Emerson reaches out toward you. “What just happened?”
“Uhm… nothing, I think.”
“So why did you cry out like that?” Gaia asks, tilting their planet to the side.
“I did?”
“Yes, you did,” Emerson says, looking even more concerned than before.
“Oh. Huh.”
There’s a brief moment of awkward silence before Gaia speaks. “So… are you two ready to fight your first monster?”
“About that—” Emerson wrings their hands together. “I don’t know if I’m really cut out for monster-slaying. I’m not very athletic, and well… I don’t know if I could actually, well, slay anything.”
“Even a horrifying, bloodthirsty monster?” Gaia asks skeptically.
Emerson looks down. “I don’t know. Maybe. I just… never really anticipated or wanted this kind of life. I don’t have the right skills or mindset for it and—”
“Well, yes. I suppose being new to such a lifestyle could be quite daunting,” Gaia interrupts. “I won’t expect you to do any slaying— or fighting I guess— today. You can simply watch from the sidelines. That could count as a lesson of sorts. Besides, given that you have no experience, there’s a pretty good chance you would just get in the way.” Gaia ends their little tangent on a confident note. “Yes, you won’t have to do anything today. Come on then.” Gaia starts to make their way down the hill, and Bea eagerly bounds in front of them.
Emerson hesitates, looking as though he wants to say something more. They don’t. Instead, they slowly start to follow Gaia toward the monster’s nest.
You start to follow, but then stop. You’re distracted by something. What is it? You can’t remember, but it’s there.

i found a hatchet half-buried in the muddy wetlands. i rinsed him off in some stormwater and carried him the rest of the way home. i realize now that i should have just let him be, but that didn't occur to me until it was too late. now, i suppose, we wait

what does RT think about the whole “unknown person thing”?
He uh, definitely finds it strange, to say the least! He doesn't seem to trust it. Which I understand, it's a strange person-thing we've never seen before, but I honestly think he's being paranoid.
I definitely need to ask him more about it. That's certain. Maybe he's figured stuff out about it that I haven’t. Knowing him, he's probably figured out exactly what it is and is piecing together how it's tied to us. Thank god he's here, honestly. If I were stuck here alone, I'd be as good as dead, I'm telling ya!

Kozuki Clan/Kiku appreciation post. Mostly focusing on the middle and ending of Wano, plus a bit of the arc after.
Kiku helped bust Luffy out of prison during Act Two and took very little, if any credit, for doing so. We love a humble queen. Gold star for being the best new ally to Luffy of the arc. If not for Kiku skillfully guiding Chopper, Momo, Tama, and Big Mom to Udon, with some help from Tsuru to work on Big Mom's cooperation skills before setting off, Chopper wouldn't be there to cure Luffy and he would have died of plague.
The prisoners would not have been inspired by Momo to join the fight, we wouldn't have been able to make use of Tama's powers to keep the takeover of Udon Prison under wraps from those on Onigashima, and Kidd and Killer would have drowned because Big Mom wouldn't have been there to break them out of Queen's device. She will downplay her role here in the story, though Kiku deserves more credit for honestly saving the entire raid by successfully guiding the group to Udon, for the sake of rescuing Luffy.
The skills she displays are exactly what the current crew are lacking, coordination, teamwork, and communication. Having a person who can coordinate others to be where they are most needed, and where they can put their skills to the best use, is unquestionably the most important role to have in groups. She would be perfect at doing exactly this with the Grand Fleet in the future.
None of the Straw Hats' closest allies would do it better than Kiku could. If anyone else fills that role, I... don't think I'd be interested, any other of our closest allies would pale in comparison to Kiku in this regard. Plus she is tough, Luffy expresses so multiple times throughout Act One and of her specifically and of all the Akazaya in chapter 987, and Kaido does in 994. Pardon a brief dip into this logic, though each of the Akazaya individually inflict more damage/pain to Kaido than Gear 4 Luffy does during Act One.
Kiku calls Law "Traffy" on the way to Onigashima, Luffy says she is cool multiple times, and that's all it takes sometimes for Luffy to want someone to join. He's a fairly simple dude, a deep reason is not needed. Even with that however, Oden said his retainers must be ready to work with the figure the world has been waiting 800-years for(Luffy,) Luffy gives his flag to the Kozuki Clan at the end of the arc, they are honorary Straw Hats/Grand Fleet members now. If we don't meet any of them again(and the narration box at the end of chapter 1057 hints that we will,) what does that say about the value of the Straw Hat's flag? The events on Egghead as they are now are perfectly set up for a Grand Fleet/Kozuki Clan arrival.

Yeah. Daniel said you guys were "helpful" or something. Might as well let some strangers on the internet hear out our story. Not like I have anything better to do.
I bet he's told you people so much about me and what a shitty person I am. But in case he hasn't, I'm Brian. I've been stuck with Daithi for... what, three months now? Say hello, Daithi.

Fucking- hold on. Let's make sure they can understand you at least.

Just type in there.
Why the fuck am I pink?
So they can tell us apart. What, do you wanna be blue instead?
Yeah, sure.
Anyway, I'm Daithi. I've been in the mirror world for a year, apparently. But Brian's only been able to see me for three months. What else, what else...
Oh yeah, don't believe a word Kevin tells you. He doesn't know shit.
