Oh god that's a whole-ass thing...

Alright, so my idea is that, following the end of s3 the school does get closed, and all students are relocated to different schools more or less in the area. My idea (idk if it works that way in the UK and I refuse to find out. I tried researching the UK schooling system and walked out of that situation covered in blood. No thanks) is that all students are given a choice between 3 schools closest to where they're registered as residents. If they want to go to a different school than the ones specified for them, they have to go through with the transfer on their own.

Anyway~

Adam is given the choice and one school is out right away because it's too far.

The second school seems perfect, especially since Ola says she will be going there.

... aaaand so will Otis.

........ Aaaaaand so will Eric.

Yeah. So, that school is off limits for Adam as well.

He talks to Rahim and they find out that the last school on Adam's list is also on Rahim's. At first Rahim was indifferent towards either school, but the moment he heard he and Adam could be going to the same school still, his ears perked up. Just a little bit, as it happens with him.

Several weeks go by as the schools are all sorted out. Then comes their first day.

The two of them agree to meet at the gate of their new school. Rahim doesn't have a problem with it either way - he would go into any school with insane levels of swag.

But not Adam.

He gets anxious about the new school, all of these new people.

So they walk in together, and spend most of their time at school joined at the hip.

Then comes the end of classes for the day, and they meet up again and keep walking and talking. They continue like that until Adam realizes

"We're in front of my house. Huh. So, do you want to meet my dog?"

Rahim agrees to meet the tiny dog he heard about already, and the afternoon goes great. They both feel a small lack deep down once they say their goodbyes for the day.

But then, the next morning Rahim comes over to Adam's house and they walk to school together. Which also becomes a part of their ritual from then on.

They spend some time at Adam's, some at Rahim's, and sometimes they just walk around town and it's outskirts.

By that first morning Rahim comes pick Adam up Maureen already is like "👀" when seeing the two of them together, especially given how she saw her son smile while texting "a friend" before.

So yeah, that's them becoming besties! 😃 I would so gladly write out their entire relationship from this point to them becoming official, but that's not what this ask was about so. I had to slow down 😅
