You and your friends, Sal, Larry, and Ash, were all walking to your class the three of you had together. Math was always easier for you nowadays since you had friends to talk to in class with.

Mrs packerton had her back turned to the class and you were writing in your notebook everything she was jotting down on the chalkboard. “Any questions?” She asked, turning around to face the class. The room was silent for a moment. “Alright! I’ll be at my desk, you all figure out this problem.” She wrote a quick problem down that would surely take the whole class about 10 minutes to complete. Quickly, you copied the problem into your book, starting to figure it out, when you felt something hit your arm. It didn’t hurt at all, felt crumpled up though. You glance at your arm a d too the floor, where you see a crumpled up piece of paper. Picking it up, you read the words

-“Wanna come over for a sleep over? Larry and Ash are coming to”

-You knew it was from your beloved boyfriend sal. You two had been dating for about a year or two now, and you didn’t actually have a sleepover yet, despite the fact you lived in the Addison apartments along with Larry.

-Quickly responding on the paper, you threw it back to sal

-“Of course! I’ll just have to ask my parents lol.”

-Sal silently sighed and nodded to himself. Your damn parents always were so strict. It bugged him sometimes to say the least, but he never pushed you to go against your parents word. They weren’t pushy about you going out with Sal, going on dates, hanging out with him and Larry, going to the fifth floor (surprisingly) but whenever it came to you asking to sleep over? No.

But,sal digresses.

Finally, your mom picks up. “Hello?” She asks. “Mom,” you start, carefully. “Can i sleep over at Sals house tonight?” You blurt out. Your mom is being quiet so shes thinking. Thats kinda surprising, she always just straight up says no. “My friends Larry and Ash are gonna be there to so it wont just be me and him!” You quickly say to convince her further to let you go. “Sure honey, go have fun.” She says sweetly. “Really? Thank you mom!” You say, hanging up so she doesnt change her mind-You quickly text Sal, Larry, and Ash in the group chat you guys had that you could go. -You rush home to pack a bag, and you’re out as fast as you were in. You walked to the elevator and took it up to sals floor. The elevator door opened with a loud ding! and you were on your way to his apartment.-You knocked on the door and sal let you in, opening the door a little wider for you.-You went into his room and processed everything, seeing as though it was youre first time in his room, you were fascinated by everything. His posters and paintings on the wall, the old record player he owned, the records he owned (all heavy metal of course).

Its about 9:00 now and your other friends still aren’t there. You don’t mind of course, you just wish they would have let you know ahead of time that they were gonna flake out. You don’t mind only being with Sal of course, but you did kinda want to have an actual sleepover with your friends-

You and sal lay on top of his bed, watching a scary movie, you cuddled on his stomach with his hand on your head, playing with your hair. You get sorta bored and you start moving around a but. You sit up and sals hand falls off of you and onto your lap (accidentally, sal wouldn’t touch you there without consent). You look at Sal and he looks away, pulling his hand back. “M’sorry” sal uttered. “I-its okay. Don’t worry about it.” You said back with a little smile. That same fucking smile that makes sal go crazy. That same smile he loves to feel when he locks lips with you. That same smile that got him to fall in love with you.

-Sal started to stare, and once he noticed, he quickly turned red. Tension hit the room as soon as he looked away. Accidentally touching hands and locking your eyes together. You did it once more before sal finally couldn’t take it.-Sal quickly looked hack at you and turned your head towards him, pulling your faces closer together. And once you nodded, sal immediately pulled you into a kiss. Not even 1 minute in and you guys were already making out. Keep in mind, you guys don’t check the time frequently, and it was about 9:10 since you guys started making out. The kiss went on and on for a while, pulling away only to breathe.

-Sal got on top of you and kissed even more passionately. It was starting to get sloppy. Tongue slipping out and falling back u to yours.

-Once he got on too of you, you could feel his growing boner. And it was getting harder by the second😭-

His hands found their way to your hips, bringing you even closer to him than you already were, if that was even possible. His fingers went up and down your thighs and found their way to the waistband of your pajama pants. -As soon as he got your permission to dispose of your pants, Larry and Ash burst in,higher than the roof. -

“Fuuuuuuck..” larry slurs. “Woah woah woooah, were you two about to fuck right now??” Ash giggles as she sees sal on top of you. “Sal quickly grabs his mask and straps it onto his face and gets off of you. You sotuate yourself and sit up along with sal. “N-no, we weren’t..” sal responded. “You fuckin liars, we toootaly saw you on top of them.! You cant hide it from uuus” Larry says, falling onto Ash slightly. “What the fuck are you guys on?” You say, half embarrassed, half genuinely confused. “Heh, a lil weed, mayyyybe crack” ash says dizzily. “You guys need sleep” sal responds. “Yea yea, sleep schmeep whatever.” Larry says and he collapses on the ground, taking ash with him. And just like that, boom. They’re asleep.-

You sigh and fall back onto the wall, looking at sal, visibly red. You smile and give him a kiss on his prosthetic and fall back onto his bed. “I love you, Sally face.” You say sleepily. “I love you to, baby” sal responds, falling back onto his bed with you, taking off his prosthetic and wrapping his arms around you.

sally face baking headcanons ft. larry & lisa

some fluffy headcanons about sal fisher as a baker, set in the early days at addison apartments

→ Sally fucks heavily with baking. I think he'd see Lisa baking something and then it would click in his head as something tangible he can do for the other Addison Apartment residents. So he picks up tips and tricks from her, since for a period of time he practically lives in her and Larry's apartment.

→ His dad doesn't really care what they buy at the grocery store as long as it's technically food, so he barely notices when Sally begins picking out the basics: flour, baking powder, cream of tartar, etc.

→ He practices over and over, eating his fair share of burnt cookies and soggy cake. There are no cookbooks at home, but once he discovers that Gizmo doesn't mind watching cooking shows with him, he improves.

→ The first ever thing he bakes for another person is his Dad. He gets Lisa's blessing to use her kitchen and he and Larry get to work late one night under the guise of a sleepover. They print out a recipe from the internet in the school library and bring it home.

→ It makes his chest hurt, looking at the recipe for a lemon cake with vanilla frosting--the closest recipe he could find to what his mom would make every year for his dad's birthday. She called it "lovely lemon" cake. She always did like alliterations.

→ It takes then far too long. Larry mostly provides moral support, cheering him on and keeping him company as he measures and rechecks everything. Its worth it though. The resulting cake looks good, lopsided but, ultimately very cake-like, with "happy birthday dad" written in blue icing in between candles.

→ makes henry smile for the first time in months

→ after that sally begins learning all sorts of recipes to share with his neighbors. he makes a little chart of birthdays and anniversaries so that he doesn't forget anyone's special day.

→ develops a real habit of stress baking. when things aren't going well, he can usually be found blasting metal music and whipping up a batch of muffins.

Sleeping in Stables

Link could barely keep his eyes open. He hadn’t gotten much sleep for a few days now. It wasn’t always easy finding a safe spot to camp, and with the recent Blood Moon he had spent some time with the Monster Control teams clearing out a few of the larger monster dens. He was slumped over his horse, a speckled white mare he’d named Haven, resting against her neck as she trotted along. She kept a steady pace, as if she understood her rider’s current state. She followed the dirt path instinctively, letting out a nicker as they approached Outskirt Stable.

“Good girl,” Link said quietly, patting the side of her neck. He made a mental note to give her a treat later- maybe a few apples, or Endura Carrots if he had any. He smiled as the sound of the stables filled his ears- the neighs and snorts of horses, Myti greeting and waving to other travelers, Beetle clapping in time with the Stable Trotter’s music and hawking his wares.

“Good evening, Link!” came the gentle voice of Toffa from where he stood, overseeing the stabled horses as they munched on their hay.

“Good evening, Toffa,” Link said with a small, tired smile. Toffa headed over to him, taking Haven’s reins as Link slid off her saddle. “Are you well?”

“I’m well enough,” Toffa said with a chuckle as the pair walked toward the stable entrance.

“Back bothering you?” Link asked, looking over at the elderly man.

Toffa chuckled and nodded. “It is, actually. Seems there’s a storm rolling in,” he replied. He couldn’t help but be pleasantly surprised that Link remembered he had back pains, though at this point he shouldn’t be. It seemed Link had trouble with remembering events, but he never forgot a detail about the people he met. It wasn’t the first time Link recalled such a minor detail.

“Guess I got here just in time then,” Link returned, patting Toffa on the shoulder as he headed inside. He waved to Embry as he yawned, his feet dragging as he headed over to the check-in counter. “Good evening, Embry. Is there a free bed?” he asked, already digging in his pouch for a Sleepover Ticket he’d gotten from Addison.

”For you? Always! Do you want a wake up call?” he asked, taking the ticket from the young man and placing it under the counter in the till.

Link shook his head and waved his hand. “No thank you. I have some sleep to catch up on,” he said, yawning again, stretching his arms over his head as he walked over to one of the beds. He sat on the edge, setting his things down beside the bed and collapsing back into it. Embry couldn’t help but let out an affectionate chuckle. Link was a favorite staple among the Stable workers. He was there often, and always a polite customer. He clearly adored his horses, and made sure to rotate the few he had regularly. If he was boarding Haven, Embry knew he would be taking Spot out next. Sometimes he’d even cook for everyone staying at the Stable, and his food was truly unmatched. Those nights Embry would let him stay for free.

Just as Toffa predicted, the skies opened up and rain poured down. It pitter-pattered softly on the canvas roof of the Stable as everyone hurried inside out of the rain. Embry slipped out from behind the counter for a moment, grabbing a spare blanket. He walked up to the bed quietly, then draped the blanket over the small Hylian boy, chuckling as he watched Link grab onto it, letting out a pleased noise in his sleep as he snuggled down into the blanket. Link’s lips curled into a soft smile in his sleep, and Embry could only pray to Malanya to give him pleasant dreams.

While whichever agent got assigned to preparing the first MRU universe could've (and probably should've) just picked either BotW or TotK, they were an overachiever, and remembered that they could copy over their horses from a completed BotW save to TotK, and at that point it hadn't yet been decided yet which game would get picked. Soooo they completed both and went a little insane doing so.

Keep in mind they had to set it up so there would be absolutely no updates, which includes making sure there can be no more New Item Textboxes, so they actually had to go a little bit beyond the actual 100% completion.

Jenn had known she was a lesbian since way back in high school. Back when ‘gay’ was an insult and ‘lesbo’ was still spray painted on your locker if you weren’t popular enough to be straight.

Back then, it was something she had to keep quiet. When mom caught her and her girlfriend stealing kisses at a sleepover it was like she’d just entered her timeline and killed all her future grandchildren personally. Jenn was almost glad dad wasn’t around for that.

Things were better these days and honestly she’d mostly forgiven her mom, but the fear never truly left her. She still wasn’t out at work, not officially — told herself some bullshit about how they “didn’t need to know about her sex life” as if half of them weren’t there at her parties seeing her get dirty with the first girl who’d pour her a drink and tell her she was pretty.

Ian was… a curveball she wasn’t expecting. Turns out their particular configuration of genitals didn’t matter so much when they weren’t attached to a dude. Even if she still thought they were ugly as hell, the idea of getting dicked down by a chick or a nonbinary person didn’t make her want to punch a wall. So that was something.

Still, it opened up a whole new world of insecurity. The first time she kissed Ian they had to spend the rest of the night assuring her she was still gay as hell, that she could be bi or she could still identify as a lesbian if that’s what worked for her, that the “gold star” wasn’t even a real thing anyhow.

That was the first time they saw her have a full blown panic attack. Not much left to hide once you’ve had that level of mental breakdown in front of someone.

It’s not like a change in what she knew about herself was unusual. People change, right? She used to be a felon and now she was working for the government and only sometimes doing illegal shit. Totally changed.

But if she was real honest, she had no idea how to be a person. Not for a long-ass time had she really known who she was or where she was headed. When she was a “gifted kid” her life was just… doing whatever was expected of her. When she reached “problem child” her life was defined by going against the grain and lashing out when someone tried to tell her to do shit. As a hacker she was defined by how much money she could steal. As a felon it was doing her time, getting that law degree and getting out of there. As head of security at Quantum Leap, it was making sure her disaster genius friends were safe.

In the times between working or school, she barely existed. Parties, hooking up, hacking some random database, spending way too much money at Zara with Ian… it was all just ways to fill in the gaps. White noise to hide the gaping void in her chest. She knew Ian understood — they were probably about the only person at Quantum Leap with a longer laundry list of issues than her. But she wasn’t sure they knew how deeply that mattered.

BPD, they told her in the therapy they made her get in her late teens after the fourth “accidental” case of alcohol poisoning. Emotionally unstable by nature. She knew the stigma; felt it in her chest when she saw Ian cuddling a little too long with someone else and wanted to shove between them and take back her best friend. When Magic listened to Janis over her and she wanted to tear a chunk out of her stupid face. When Ben and Addison got engaged and she knew that meant they’d spend all their time together and barely think about her anymore.

When she was a kid she latched on to anything she could reach to give her meaning. Dressed up like her favourite characters, cut her own hair on a whim, tried any drink or drug her peers offered in the hopes they’d think she was cool.

So to find a label for who she was always meant everything to her. One more piece of a puzzle with a thousand missing. “Lesbian” was the only thing she was that she had been able to find and apply by herself.

So when Ian held her close and assured her she could still have that label; that the meaning of the word wasn’t so rigid as the cis lesbians had taught her-.. that was when she decided Ian was her favourite. God, she’d kill for them if she had to.

Eventually, Ian helped her find more labels. Greyromantic. Polyamorous. Autistic was a surprise one, but she took it.

Her favourite label, though, was the one that described their relationship; that reassured her every time she saw them with someone else and knew she was still important. Queerplatonic.

Maybe one day she’d shed the fear her childhood gave her. She’d let down her guard a bit and allow her friends to see her for who she was instead of just what she allowed them to see. For now, she was just glad for one person to confide in. The rest could wait.

hi maya!!! i could definitely pull out a few cashton headcanons!

They practice languages together! They both like knowing a few phrases in the common language of whatever country they're in for tour, so they practice with each other on the tour bus using youtube and translation apps to help. ashton always tries to order food in the language when they go for breakfast/lunch/dinner. calum, however, has the better pronunciation of the two

this isn't so much a headcanon as simple fact, but they love spending time doing things together! they are always the first person the other one turns to if they want to go on some sort of adventure. half the time they're just humoring the other person, but any time spent together is time well-spent

they love hanging out in the backyard!!! both of their backyards are their own little kingdoms. they both love using calum's pool, and they enjoy hosting backyard parties and barbecues where calum grills and ashton provides veggies from his garden. these events happen every few weeks and are very well attended by their friends

ashton, however, does not know how to grow herbs. for some reason, those plants are immune to his green thumb

they're both unpleasant to watch movies with for different reasons. calum gets bored and plays on his phone, then complains about missing important parts. ashton talks through everything. as such, movies are not something that they tend to do together.

i have been pretty busy for movies, but I watched The Half of It within the past few months! It's such a good, interesting coming-of-age movie. I also recently watched disney's Zombies 3, which was by far the worst movie in that trilogy, but I LOVE the zombies movies. they're cringy and silly, but everyone involved commits SO HARD, from the actors to the choreographers to the costumers, and that makes them really fun to watch, plus zed and addison are cute.

For songs, I also have not been listening to many new songs, but I recently feel in love with various covers of "I'll Be Here in the Morning" by (originally by Townes Van Zandt), "Stick Season" by Noah Kahan, and i remembered "Just Breathe" by Pearl Jam.
