-She gives you little compliments on how you seemed to take your time with one in particular or how you sketched out one well and become happy when a smile finds its way onto your face.

-Yaguchi can't help but feel a tad bit embarrassed that you're drawing him. He certainly wasn't expecting the little doodles of him in your sketchbook or on the side of random piece of paper.

-He mentions it almost indirectly to you to not seem like he was being creepy and staring at you while you drew. He'll ask you what you're drawing as if he doesn't already know and look away from you, in case you had not wanted him to see.

-He does get a bit red when you do end up showing him, seeing how cute you had drawn him and how you had decided to draw him out of anything else. He gives it a shaky compliment as if he's not sure what he's meant to say about it and it's honestly cute.

-Miki is quite happy seeing her in the form of little doodles in your sketchbook. She thinks it's adorable how you're drawing her in a variety of ways and she pays a little too much attention to you drawing.

-She points it out to you, asking if she can see the drawings you made of her but, doesn't make a big deal if you don't want to or you're not ready to show her! She respects that and just peeks over at you ever so often.

◈ Yatora could tell you were having a hard time, especially since exams were coming up and you were worried sick about your current grades. Unfortunately- you were failing all your classes, not because you didn't care about school or your grades but simply because it was just so hard to learn and catch up. Especially since you also worked most the time, and it left you absolutely exhausted. Yatora knew that, and saw how hard you struggled to get your grades back up, so he invited you over to help you study.

◈ It was nice being with your boyfriend, he always managed to comfort you just by being there with you. You also appreciated him for helping and supporting you, he would always be your rock and help keep you grounded. "Do you understand this now?" He asked, pointing towards the question you were currently working on, "Yeah I think so.." You muttered, slowly working out the problem until you finished it, showing him the final answer.

A smile adoring your features as he softly kissed your head, "Good job! Now for the next one okay?" You nodded along and listened as he explained the next few problems.

◈ This was how Yatora rewarded you for getting the correct answers, and for not getting distracted by staring at his face, which embarrassed him greatly, especially when you called him pretty. He'd kiss your forehead, cheek, and the crown of your head, or even doodle you or your favorite characters. He found out long ago that these small rewards kept you focused and working, but of course he'd make sure you'd pace yourself and take breaks when needed.

◈ You'd smile whenever he passed you a small doodle, and little does he know you'd keep them all tucked away somewhere safe. You'd prefer to put them up on your wall, but it's already full of the bigger pieces he drew for you.

◈ You'd spend any free time during school, after school or work, and even just days off studying together. It was a bit exhausting for the both of you, but since it was just you too and the endless support from your boyfriend it was manageable and made it all easier. So when it was time to talk to your teachers about your grades it was a nervous moment for the both of you.

Yatora pecked your lips, smiling at you as you both stood in the hallway, "It'll be alright, you've been doing great! I'm sure your grades have gotten better." His positive words and reassurance helped calm your nerves a bit as you stood in front of the door, "Time to hear the news."

◈ You manged to get passing grades! Yatora was as thrilled as you were with the news, happy that all your hard work paid off. You'll also be able to maintain them a bit better now, since you and Yatora agreed to study together from then on. Even if that means having to find your own way to reward him. You didn't think you could do it without him though, and made sure he knew just how much you appreciated his help and support.

Bokuto Kotaro from Haikyuu

Dude's a literal ray of sunshine. I love everything about him, he's so silly and funny but reently it was revealed that he has a university degree! I love that for him, and I love that he gets to live his life happily doing what he loves (volleyball) BokuAka has been my main source of serotonin when i was struggling with depression

2. Yaguchi Yatora from Blue Period

Boy's a complete disaster, that's true. But he's such a relatable disaster. I don't necessarily kin him, Yotasuke is the one I kin (he just like me fr), but I've found quite a few similarities i have with Yatora, and he's just so cute and scrunkly, I hope Yamaguchi will give him a happy ending away from this depression he lives right now

Hands down the best villain in any story I've read, including books. He's incredible

in the 48 hours of free Black Jack, I read:

108. The Bear - because I needed the raw japanese for a WIP. Did you know Kuroo calls Natsue Nacchan???? That's adorable????? Natsue Yaguchi my oneshot bestie I love you forever <3

022. The Bleeding Won't Stop - obligatory semi-sealed chapter. Could not parse why it was sealed from my very bad japanese-- it was a run of the mill chapter with a kinda cute romance. Maybe something in the dialogue sealed it?

036. Sinking Woman - the other obligatory semi-sealed chapter (which was totally sealed because of the one-two punch of Minamata Disaster and mentally disabled woman existing). Was actually really good!! The emotional core was the forefront and it's done really well. If I can feel things while illiterate, it's doing something right.

Also, I was surprised by how accurate the OVA version of Sinking Woman is! Usually the OVA deviates a lot lmao (I will never forgive them for changing On A Snowy Night /j). The plot is taken exactly from the manga and is only embellished in one or two spots. Maybe they saw that this chapter is hard to come by so they did it accurate to be accessible

When left alone in the classroom, a chain of events forces Komi to interact with Tadano through writing on the blackboard, as if in a one-way conversation. However, unbeknownst to everyone, she has crippling anxiety and a communication disorder which prevents her from wholeheartedly socializing with her classmates. Gorgeous and graceful with long, dark hair, Komi is universally adored and immensely popular despite her mysterious persona. His peers now recognize him as someone to eliminate for a chance to sit next to the most beautiful girl in class. Unfortunately, he fails right away when he takes the seat beside the school's madonna-Shouko Komi. Hitohito Tadano is an ordinary boy who heads into his first day of high school with a clear plan: to avoid trouble and do his best to blend in with others.

oikawa may be my og blorbo but yatora is my Forever blorbo. have i talked about blue period enough? the answer is no, never. aside from blue period just being the most real and personal manga i have ever read in my life, yatora just GETS me on a personal level that i cannot describe . the way he’s confident to the point of cocky, but crashes and burns twice as hard; the way he’s so so flawed and he has doubts and struggles but still, at his core, just loves art and wants to connect? oooouuugh [”: anyway blue period chapter 47 broke me, made me have a full on breakdown but yatora is forever my special favorite blorbo

so here’s the thing about aod. it is not a well written story nor is it one i would recommend to anyone because of how grisly and edgy it is. and yet, have i consumed Every Kind of media that i possibly can of this story? yes absolutely i even bought two copies of the final volume of the manga by complete accident. something about the early 2000s rpgmaker edginess is special to me and i found the game at a very... turbulent time in my life, let’s say haha none of the characters are good characters but ray has just that touch of “fucked up traumatized child” that i connect with somehow

Maka Albarn (Soul Eater)

yknow i think maka was one of my og awakenings KJGDSKA soul eater is just one of those anime/manga that i fondly think about from time to time and i’ll never forgive what they did to it in the spinoff. maka is just that kind of girl who would kick my ass to the moon and when i was a teen, i definitely had a huge crush on her (not to mention she’s voiced by laura bailey in the dub; a win all around for me)

Theobald Leonhart (LiEat)

looks like i’m pulling out my  ✨obscure rpgmaker games ✨ card on this one. lieat is one of those games that really spoke to me and i don’t know why! theo is such an important character to me and that “stuck with you until we’re eventually family” relationship he has with efi melts my heart [”: also miwashiba popped off with their character designs
