Okay so here's my two cents about Tx2 and the whole poser thing; I've seen a lot of stuff around about how Tx2 is an industry plant and a poser and isn't a real emo and stuff and he posted a video recently about how if he killed himself on live stream people would still call him a poser. And my opinion on this is why do other people care so much about whether or not he's a "poser"?????? Seriously, who cares! From what I've seen he advocates for queer rights and he's pro mental health awareness and thinks it's important to have open discussions and community about it. Some of his videos that are meant to be funny I think kind of toe the line and are also generally unfunny and I'll say I don't think he writes the strongest lyrics, but I think the instrumental itself is generally fine. But generally, he doesn't seem to be doing anything bad or being super problematic so again WHO CARES, does it really matter if he's been emo since 5th grade or if he just started being emo two years ago? Or even if he's only trying to be emo to get famous, he's not being predatory or bigoted and again has advocated for queer rights. Also, why are we gatekeeping? Who is anyone to decide who does or doesn't get to be emo? Or anything else for that matter? Yeah, he's not Paramore or My Chemical Romance, but as far as I know he's not actually doing anything wrong either, if you don't like his music you can just not listen to him instead of pushing a stranger online to post a crying video about killing themselves

Less than 20 days now until I see Mayday Parade and All Time Low with my boyfriend and I’m so excited. This will be my first concert since I saw Puffy AmiYumi at Anime Boston 2017 and my first emo concert (and also my second concert ever since the Puffy AmiYumi concert was the only concert I’ve ever been to haha) and it just. Feels great. I grew up without the money to ever go to concerts (not to mention I spent 80% of my teen years in inpatient) and now I live with my boyfriend and can go to concerts and have fun. Your 20s really are better than your teens.
