I love this movie, it broke me but it's just !! I probably also shouldn't have watched it two times in a role but i can't help it
Just saying I didn't know how sad it was going to be. It also didn’t help that I am also a twin and I watched this on my birthday. I just wanted to watch a movie with Jodie whittaker as the lead okay
I made her for Jodie as I was I went to Gally one and I was making some of the actors two dolls (mainly the actors who doctors have passed) but I wanted to do something extra and i couldn’t pick favorite with the fam so I thought of doing anna instead as this movie have stuck with me. I also want to post something for her birthday just because. And I think am out of 13th doctor ideas at the moment.
This doll was also one I give to the actually actor, if you want to read about that I wrote it in this post
[ID: picture is a felt doll that is the shape of a gingerbread man with a big circle head, they are supposed to be anna from adult life skills. She has light skin, long brown hair, she is wearing light blue jeans and navy shoes. A red button shirt with some patches under a navy and red zipper up that have pink sleeves under a purple puffer vest. She has a little smiley face sewn on her hands, and she has a red knit hat that has a cable stitch and a pom pom on top. The 2nd picture is her without the hat:ID]
for taking notes on anything i find interesting because i’m trying to enjoy learning for fun (school has unfortunately killed that love but 2023 is the year of resurrection and the good witch by maisie peters)
anna sticker by the amazing talented wonderful @iknowjojocreates
just rewatched adult life skills and the website I watched it on described it as a comedy - bitch I was balling my eyes out but weirdly I think it’s gonna become one of my new comfort movies like it’s just such a warm movie full of love 💙

But this fuck me up so much to know that it nearly didn't get made because they thought the main character was unlikeable. She is the most real a character as ever felt to me. She is amazing and broken and autistic and I love her
I’m watching Adult Life Skills (love this film) and I’m just trying to get my head around the fact that basically all of Jodie’s characters should probably go to therapy 😭😅
I had only ever watched Jodie in Doctor Who so over Friday/Saturday I stayed up for 34 hours went to work and then watched Adult Life Skills and all 3 seasons of Broadchurch in a row.
Worth it. I don’t know why I didn’t look back into her filmography earlier.
I think Chibs did well with both Broadchurch (well enough I wanted to stay up and watch 24 episodes in a row) and Doctor Who, and Jodie was phenomenal in both.
I can understand something not being for you but I can’t understand the level of hate thrown at 13s era of Doctor Who it just seems a bit outrageous. The show might not be to your liking but it’s nowhere never the worse TV you can watch, you would think the show was committing treason while stealing kittens or something with how horribly people talk about it and comments that are so vile about the show that people feel are perfectly fine to say in a public forum. It makes no sense.
Anyway the moral of the story… doesn’t matter what you watch with Jodie in it, it’s honestly great!
