The zombie Apocalypse is never a great place for an Omega, but Eijiro appears in your life making it a bit easier.

Eijiro paused as he waited for anything to happen, anything at all. He took a moment before motioning forward. The group moved forward, rifles out as they neared the motel that seemed otherwise unoccupied from the outside, however the boarded up windows were a concern that would be tackled in the moment.

Katsuki paused at the look of the old motel. Despite the apocalypse, it looked pretty good, stable, for a building that had survived the apocalypse. He glanced to his right from the tree he stood behind. “Sero.” He voiced out lowly.

Sero swallowed down hard as he looked through his scope. The tall lanky Beta was up in the tree tops, having stayed out of sight and higher up in the foliage to ensure that if they did have any enemies that were alive, they wouldn’t see him. “Its dark. I don’t see any movement inside.”

The blond glanced to the giant red head beside him. The large Prime Alpha was quiet for a moment as he surveyed the area for another second. He nodded. “On my lead, Izuku and Shoto watch our six.” He stated simply as he moved forward past the tree line towards the back of the motel.

The back door didn’t seem boarded up or nearly as crowded. There weren’t any undead in sight, and if they were, they had a bullet hole in their head that suggested that they weren’t a threat. Eijiro stood in front of the door, Katsuki staying to the left side of the door pointing his rifle so that if the door opened and there was someone inside he could have access to the right side of the room, while Mina did the same on the right side. Eijiro took a moment, before trying the door handle. It was locked.

Of course, it was.

Eijiro hardened his hand, crushing the lock with ease and opening the door. Inside he was met with darkness. He was quiet as he moved to feel for a light switch. Right as he felt the switch he smelt a scent. Recent. Too recent to not still be in the room. Just as he switched on the lights there was a loud bang sound.

“Eijiro!”

Katsuki and Mina immediately both had their riffled aimed inside the room as the sound of a bullet clattering to the ground was heard. The room was heavily silent. There were six people in the room from what Katsuki could tell but that didn’t matter because they all had their eyes on Eijiro. Eijiro had hardened his head, and with a sort of metallic sound, he was back to normal. Not a scratch on him.

He let out a breath as he looked around the room. “And this is why I go in first.” He let out truthfully.

“I thought you shot that guy!” A red haired man said as well. His hair was a ruby red and short with eyebrows that sort of reminded Mina of Tokoyami’s head. He held a gun up as well as he looked to his comrade who had fired the shot.

The Alpha hadn’t taken his eyes off of Eijiro for a second, dark blue eyes with matching colour hair. His tanned skin contrasting favourably with his hair as he held the gun with a trained grip. “I did, Kagami, unless you didn’t notice that the guy can turn into a fucking rock.”

There was another tall one with green hair and matching eyes, he adjusted his glasses as he looked at the intruders with a judgemental and analytical look in his eyes. “Then shoot one of the others.”

Eijiro took a step forward, putting everyone else on edge. “I wouldn’t advice that, pal.” He let out roughly as he frowned at the glasses wearing one. “Lets be civil about this.”

“Civil my ass.” The blue one scoffed with a low underlying growl. He snarled over at them. “You trespass on our grounds and you wanna be civil.” Katsuki scowled with a low growl, however that wasn’t what had Aomine so irked. Aomine, the blue one, let out another growl. “And this giant rock isn’t even looking at me.”

“It’s because he’s smart.” A man who sat in a magenta chair spoke out as he had Eijiro’s full attention. Although he was shorter than the other Alphas in the room he had an air of dominance and control that clearly showed who had the most amount of power here. His gaze was heavy on Eijiro but Eijiro didn’t back down. The large redhead held his gaze as if he had nothing better to do. Akashi scoffed but smiled, as he pushed himself off the chair. “Akashi Seijuro, Head Alpha of the Generation of Miracles.” He spoke leisurably.

At this point, Katsuki had motioned for Shoto and Izuku to come inside to make the playing ground more fair. “Kirishima Eijiro, Head Alpha of Pack A.” Eijiro responded.

Akashi put his hands behind his back, not a gun on him as he walked to stand in front of Eijiro. “Why are you here? You’re not dead yet, which means you’ve survived long enough to have your own resources. So why come here?”

Eijiro looked around the room. He shrugged not feeling particularly up to answering. “Truthfully, we were bored.”

His answer caused the other Miracles to growl. At the sound of their growling, Katsuki, Izuku and Shoto returned it. Akashi put a hand up that stopped their growling. He frowned at the taller Prime Alpha, his presence imposing on him. Unlike Akashi, there was a hierarchy here now that waws upset because of Eijiro’s appearance. As the only Apex in the room, it meant that he was at the top. And that never set well with Akashi because he was always at the top.

Eijiro sniffed before his eyebrows raised slightly. He sniffed again as he looked towards a large purple haired Alpha that seemed to be blocking something. Something that smelt much too sweet to be an Alpha’s scent. His eyebrows twitched as he felt his Alpha stir at the scent.

Akashi didn’t like that.

“Let go of me!” You whined as you pushed against Murasakibara, the larger than life purple haired Alpha that looked rather tired and drained. He looked a lot like Shinso in that aspect. “I wanna see.”

He looked back to you with a low growl as you were stuffed in a corner behind him. “No, Y/N-chin. Aka-chin said no.” He reasoned.

You let out a low hiss, your scent turning sour in anger. “Seijuro!” You shouted from where you were. You dropped to the flow, peaking from behind the tall Alpha’s legs to look at the Head Alpha of your group. That’s when Eijiro first saw you, with a frown on your face and determination in your eyes. Eijiro’s Alpha perked up at the sight of you. You were the most beautiful Omega he had ever seen in his life. You frowned as you looked to the Alpha who didn’t even look at you, who was too busy scowling at Eijiro’s attention on you to notice much of your anger. “Seijuro, tell him to let me go.”

“Y/N, I told you to get in the other room with Tetsuya and you didn’t listen.” He reminded you, when you had first spotted Pack A from outside.

You rolled your eyes. “They’re people, Seijuro, just like we are.” You reasoned as you put a hand to your chest. That didn’t seem to sit well with the other Alpha at all. You rolled your eyes as you turned to look up at Eijiro, your eyes looking up at him with something he wasn’t entirely sure what to call. “Excuse me, Head Alpha Kirishima,” You spoke with your head slightly down and exposing your neck towards him. At the sign of respect and submission, Eijiro couldn’t help but find you looking even more tempting. An approving rumble left his chest, showing that he was willing to listen to you. Akashi motioned for Murasakibara and Kise, who were the closest to you in your group, to block you out of sight, which made you let out a small yelp. At the sound Katsuki glanced at Eijiro who scowled at Akashi.

With another hiss you somehow managed to bully your way out from their grasp. “I swear I will bite your knots off!” You glared at the two of them for trying to stop you. The both of them lifted up their hands in surrender as you glared at them. You then turned back to Eijiro. Akashi, moved to block your path, showing he didn’t want you moving closer to the other Alpha. You frowned at him, but obeyed him as your Head Alpha. “Head Alpha Kirishima, tell me, is your pack based near here?”

Eijiro’s gaze eased at the sight of you. He nodded. “Yes, it is. Maybe a day’s walk away but nothing that can’t be tackled. Just further out of the city.”

You hummed as you nodded your head at that information. He could tell that slowly you were releasing your sweet scent into the air to try and calm things down and decrease the tension. As the only Omega in the room, Eijiro was appreciative of your actions. “How many pack members?”

“Twenty-One.” He answered simply.

You perked up at the number and glanced at Aomine with a pointed glare. It was a wordless exchange with the large blue haired Alpha but he scowled and looked away with a tsk. He knew what you were trying to tell him. If he had killed Eijiro, you all would have been way too over your head with the group you were dealing with.

You turned back to look at Eijiro. You swallowed down heavily before looking between Akashi and Eijiro. “It’s futile fighting it’s futile trying to kill each other. How about we talk about a possible alliance or maybe even… merge.” At the mention of your suggestion, Akashi let out a low growl at you. His magenta eyes bore into you with almost malice at the thought. You lowered your stature slightly but stood your ground. You took a step closer to him. “We need it, Seijuro.” You whispered to him before turning to Eijiro. “Humanity is better together than separated. Don’t you think, Head Alpha Kirishima?” You asked.

Eijiro hesitated as he saw Izuku and Katsuki glance at each other before glancing at him. Eijiro let out a heavy breath as he thought on it for a moment. “More people mean more mouths to feed, it means more noise, it means more attraction from bad people or the undead.” He explained.

“It also means more hands to help and more eyes on the ground.” You rebutted. Eijiro’s eyebrow twitched with a slight smirk. You shrugged. “Its better to have packmates than uncertain friends.”

Eijiro looked to Katsuki. The blond Alpha looked up to him before looking over at the group in front of him. Then his eyes looked to you. Then he looked to Eijiro. Eijiro looked over to Izuku. The green haired Alpha glared at the opposing side but then looked to his Head Alpha. He huffed but kept his grip on his rifle. Eijiro looked to Akashi but answered to you. “I’m willing to discuss.”

Akashi scowled.

You smiled. “Wonderful! Please, it’s late and its past sunset. Stay the night.” You encouraged, happy to see new faces as you looked around to all of them brightly. Your packmates were not so bubbly.

It took a long time for the negotiations to be met and for either side to be somewhat happy. You also got to learn all their names. You learnt quickly that the pink woman’s name was Ashido Mina, she was a beta and she was very extroverted and lovely. Although the other Omega in your group, Kuroko Tetsuya wasn’t so eager about her extervertedness, you didn’t seem to mind. Then there was the other Beta in the group, and Mina’s partner, Sero Hanta. He was nice and rather laid back and didn’t seem bothered by the Alphas in the room. Then there was an Alpha similar to him, Todoroki Shoto. From then you realised that they were all old heroes from before the world went to shit. Shoto was just as you remember him from all the girls that had crushes on him, stoic and quiet. Then there was the loud Alpha that you knew from the tabloids, Bakugou Katsuki. The blond was trigger happy which was a bad combination with Aomine and Kise but they were pretty satiated easily.

Then there were two Alphas that peaked your interest. First was the green haired Alpha with freckles on his cheeks and a dangerous yet friendly look in his eyes that could change at any moment. Midoriya Izuku. At first you thought the Alpha was a rather friendly a passive person, and you weren’t too offput by his presence, but you realised the undertones of a prime Alpha in him. It was clear that he wasn’t trying to present himself as such and yet he carried a presence to him. Then lastly was the Alpha that you couldn’t help but keep your eyes on, Kirishima Eijiro. He was the largest out of their group, pure muscle and an absolute tank of an Alpha. Although he was friendly to you, always looking deep into your eyes as if he could read you like an open book, he held a firm presence to him that told you why he was Head Alpha. Even when you went to bed last night, in a room upstairs with Tetsuya, you couldn’t help but think about him.

How large he was. How deep his ruby eyes were. How sharp those teeth were that could puncture into your neck so easily.

It was such thoughts that plagued your brain. You tried not to think about them as the next day you had a lot of walking and relocating to do. You were quickly ushered to putting on your scent blockers along with Kuroko because of how dangerous it was for Omegas now in this new world. Zombies were drawn to Omega’s scents like flies to a carcass. It was horrifying how one sniff of the scent could send them all barrelling towards the closest Omega first. So you had to be careful and under the radar as you travelled.

The best part of travelling is that everyone had to be quiet in order for it to be successful and for you all not to attract attention, which meant no fighting of the two opposing groups. However, Eijiro was right as the further you left from the city, deeper into the woods, just a days walk, did you reach large walls made out of metal and wood that blocked out anything from the outside, it was well hidden too which was a good thing. With a wave from Eijiro, you were all allowed inside into the large compound.

At the sight and sound of bustling people working around the area, you couldn’t help but feel excited and almost nostalgic at the sight. The camp had one side with a river as its border so that there was a constant source of water. The sound of the river seemed to numb most sounds of the people inside making it a great noise canceler. It almost seemed like it used to be a camping site, with cabins and a cafeteria too. Of course, there were newly built structures too and tents too, but it was functional, and it was working and it was beautiful.

You were quickly introduced to the pack and to the few other Omegas that were there, and you were put into a cabin with some other Omegas, away from the Alphas in the Miracles for the first time in a long time. It was almost relieving to have your own space again in some sort of way. And you also had a hot meal. You hadn’t had one in a long time, but you did have one.

You were happy in this new camp with all these new people too.

You sat on a tree stump around one of the fires that were lit to keep people warm. You looked up at the stars, looking at how bright they were without the city lights and all the pollution. It was a bit of a chilly night, but that was to be expected near a river.

“Hey.” You turned your attention over to Eijiro who moved over to sit next to you on another old stump. The large Alpha held two hot cups in his hands. He wore a light sweater that suited him well as he offered the one cup to you.

You smiled warmly at the gift and accepted. “Evening Head Alpha Kirishima, thank you.” You bowed your head in gratitude as you looked down at the cup. It smelt like tea which you were now very grateful for. You held the mug between your hands as you kept your body warm.

“No, please.” He waved a hand down. “No need for the formalities, Eijiro is fine.” He assured you.

“You are Head Alpha of his pack,” You said reminding him. “I have to acknowledge that.”

Eijiro looked at you for a moment intrigued by the statement. He scoffed as he looked down. “Well, at the end of the day, I’m just Eijiro. But if you want, Kirishima is also fine.” He informed you as he turned to look at you, the light of the fire illuminating in his ruby eyes. “So, how have you been? How’s the pack treating you? I hope the duties you were assigned aren’t too much.”

You smiled. “Well. Very well. And don’t worry about the duties, I understand. We all have to pitch in to help and keep this place running, it only makes sense.” You assured him of your understanding as you nodded your head. “You’re all so nice and I’ve made some good friends, like Mina, Momo and Pony, even with Shinso. I’m…” You looked up to the stars once again with a smile. “I’m glad I’m here.”

Eijiro watched you for a moment. He wasn’t sure what was wrong with him and why he was so fascinated by you. You were something else entirely and he loved to watch you. He could sense so much from within you. At first, he was worried it was just because you were an Omega and conveniently, a good looking one at that. There weren’t many Omegas left and he was worried that his dumb Alpha just wanted you for your second gender. However, watching you as practical Head Omega of your group, watching your reasoning and your way of thinking was more attractive than anything physical.

Eijiro looked down at his cup, “Well…” he turned to look at you. “I’m glad that you’re here.” You turned to him in surprise at the statement, your eyes wide as you stared at the Alpha next to you. “From what I’ve seen, you’ve been doing well here. Not many people can adapt as easily as you have.” He spoke truthfully. You ignored the warmth in your face as being caused by the fire and not his words.

You moved to drink from your tea before it got cold. You swallowed down hard. “So… what have you been up to?” You asked him.

He let out a breath. “Been moving and chopping some logs and had some meetings with Iida and Akashi and the others, by the way, he really doesn’t like it here.” You giggled making him smile. “I’m serious, he acts like I’m condemning him to hell.”

“He’s just…” You hesitated as you let out a soft scoff. “He doesn’t like change.”

Eijiro nodded as he kept looking at his cup. He took a sip of his own tea as a comfortable silence settled between the two of you. The low rush of the river and crickets nearby along with the hush of people talking behind you filled the space between the both of you. “So… is he your Alpha?” He asked casually, but felt a heavy stone at the back of his throat.

You snorted as you shook your head. “God no. None of them are. I mean… sure we’re a pack and I’m an Omega so, I don’t really have much chose when it comes to…” You stopped yourself before you got too personally, and looked down at your grip on your cup. Your grip was harsh. “But I’ve never let one of them claim me. I mean, it’s the end of the fucking world and I shouldn’t be so picky… so many Omegas out there who didn’t make it would kill to have a choice of mate like me, but I…” Your voice trailed on, not entirely sure what more there was to say.

Eijiro nodded his head as he looked at you. “Hey.” You turned to him. “You aren’t forced to be with any of them. You’re free to do what you want and be with whoever you want.”

You scoffed softly. “That’s easy for you to say, Mr Head Alpha…” you spoke lowly. “I’ve already accepted life as an Omega in this world. If I’m not with a pack, I’m either waiting to die at the hands of zombies or going to be stolen away by people worse. Omegas are scarce and when people start getting comfortable, pack Omegas are the first people to look to. I understand my role as a femme in this world. Doesn’t make me helpless but it’s a scary truth. I don’t really have a choice.”

“You have a choice in pack.” You paused at what he was saying as you turned to look at him. Eijiro straightened up his posture. “That’s all up to you.”

You looked at him a bit unsure in what he was implying. You opened your mouth to speak.

“Y/N!” You visibly jumped out of your skin as you turned to look back at Akashi and Aomine. Both Alphas looked angry with who you had been found talking to. Aomine glared at Eijiro with a low growl. Akashi didn’t say anything but you already knew what he was saying to you.

You swallowed down hard before looking to Eijiro. Eijiro tensed at the smell of your scent, heavy and laced with anxiety and fear. You gave him a weak smile and a nod. “Thank you for the chat.” You spoke lowly as you left behind the tea you had and left over to them.

Eijiro watched with a worried look as Aomine grabbed the back of your neck making you let out a small yelp as he stirred you away from Eijiro along with them. Akashi didn’t say anything as he glanced back at Eijiro. He huffed before turning to look back forward again, ignoring the other Alpha. Eijiro had an uneasy feeling in his stomach, a worried feeling about you.

Eijiro moved fast and quickly to the one of the Omegan barracks. His heart beating loudly in his ears as he tried to be quick about it. What Mina had told him was limited but enough to make the Alpha’s hair stand up in worry. He was light on his feet as he finally reached the cabin he was looking for. He opened the door, the room vacant all for one person.

You were sitting on a chair near a window. You turned to look at him, and that’s when he saw it. Bruises on the side of your face, recent enough for Eijiro to know that they weren’t old. Dried blood was on your bottom lip. You stood up in surprise. “Head Alpha Ki-”

You couldn’t finish your statement as Eijiro crossed the room in short strides and immediately cupped your face, looking at the bruises on you. “What happened?” He asked, a furrow to his brows and worry in his voice. “Who did this to you?” He asked with a low underlying growl as he inspected your condition.

You moved your face out of his grasp with a sigh. "You need to leave."

He paused for a second before frowning. “I’m not leaving until you tell me what happened and we get you help.” He stepped closer to you but you took a step further away from him.

“No, I can’t be seen talking to you.” You stated, turning away from him. You held your arms closer to your body not wanting him to press forward on that matter. Part of you was hoping he would just go away so that you could be in peace.

Eijiro paused. His eyebrows furrowed. “It was him, wasn’t it?” He asked lowly.

You didn’t answer as you tightened your grip on yourself as you tried to ignore that question. You heard a low growl from Eijiro in annoyance. You sighed, closing your eyes. “What does it matter?” You asked softly with a shrug. “It’s fine. You don’t have to worry about it.”

“I am going to worry about it!”

“Why?”

“Because-” Eijiro stopped himself at his raised voice. You turned back to look at him as he had his eyes closed and he took a deep breath. His scent was raging, releasing pheromones of aggression and anger, but it quickly changed to having a heavy undertone of worry and care. He opened his eyes and looked to you. You watched his handsome face ease as he stepped closer to you.

The large Alpha let out a low chuft from the back of his throat, asking for permission to touch you this time. You hesitated but nodded your head with a soft chirp. He gently caressed your cheek, his thumb grazing over the bruise so lightly you didn’t even feel it. A low rumble came out of his chest, almost in a comforting sense. You looked up at him with wide eyes, looking into his ruby ones. He looked so concerned, eyebrows furrowed as if he wondered how someone could even think of hurting you. He leaned down forward, and you squeezed your eyes shut, bracing for something to happen.

It took a moment, but nothing happened. When you opened your eyes this time, Eijiro had put his forehead against yours. His rumble only grew louder as he lightly scented you. You were stiff for a moment before relaxing, allowing him to scent you. You let out a hum as you lifted your neck, exposing it as he leaned forward.

His large hands went to rest on your hips as he pulled you closer, affectionately scenting you. You weren’t sure what to make of this, but it made your heart leap out of your chest and your Omega purred like a generator. You felt a flush rise up your neck. You weren’t usually this swayed but his large figure dwarfing you as he held you to his side made you feel butterflies that you had never felt since the end of this stupid world.

He let out a deep breath. “If you would allow me…” He started lowly. “I want to take care of you.” You listened to what he was saying but was half distracted by the feeling of his thumb stroking your arm. “But I can’t do that if you don’t want to be part of my pack… if you don’t want to be mine.”

You looked up at him half unsure. “But what about Akashi and the others. They would never allow it.”

“It doesn’t matter what they allow.” He lets out sternly. “I’m Head Alpha.” He moved his hand to lift your chin up to look at him. He raised a single eyebrow. “Aren’t I… Omega?”

Your eyes glanced down at his lips before looking back up at his eyes. Your mind went numb for a second but you nodded your head. “Yes… you are.”

You felt almost like you couldn’t breathe in his arms and yet you wanted him. You wanted him more than you wanted to breathe. You could feel it in the air, it was as palpable as ever. It was almost suffocating. He was right in front of you and you didn’t know what to do. You wanted him against you. You wanted him to consume you. You wanted him to ravage you and take you as his own. You wanted his bite on your neck. It ached and thrummed between your legs almost as consistently as your heartbeat.

You turned your head, trying to breathe, trying to align your thoughts once again. However, it didn’t even last a second that you tried to recollect yourself as Eijiro moved your face towards him. His lips claimed yours in security and assurance. It was slow and it was gentle. You weren’t even sure if it was real. All you knew was that you could feel the heat that radiated off of him and you wanted more of it.

The moment he pulled away, letting out a soft breath you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him back down again. Eijiro let out a low rumble as he reached to put his hands back on your hips. He deepened the kiss, holding you tighter. You closed your eyes as you let yourself be consumed by his figure. For a second, just in his embrace, you could forget about everything and focus on the Alpha in front of you.

Eijiro stumbled back with you in his arms, putting your back against the wooden wall of the cabin. You gasped as Eijiro gripped your thighs and hoisted you up. He let out a determined growl as he held you up with little effort. He once again attacked your lips, his need to be with you, clasped around you, inside you, was so great it almost made him want to discard everything going on and sink into your soft cunt.

He could smell how needy you were, he could smell it in your scent and he could taste it on your lips. He loved it more than anything.

But he had to be patient.

Eijiro leaned back as he took a deep inhale and angled his face down away from you. His breaths laboured as well as your own. You could feel his half hard cock against you, making you whine as your thighs twitched. You nudged his jaw with your nose as he held you up. You had never felt such a strong and almost careless bond with someone like this before. It felt almost as if you had no control over your body, as if you were entirely acting off of instinct.

And yet it felt almost amazing.

He let out a low sigh as he brought his face to the crook of your neck. “You’re staying with me.”

You closed your eyes as you felt the beat of his heart against the palm of your hand as you rest it on his heart. You nodded your head. “Okay.”

“WHERE ARE THEY!” Akashi shouted as he pushed past others to move towards Eijiro who stood talking to Bakugou before he had to pause to look at the angry alpha. Eijiro turned towards him with a raised eyebrow. Akashi moved with Aomine and Kagami behind him as he moved towards Eijiro. At the confrontation, immediately Bakugou turned on the defensive as he started growling, staying at Eijiro’s side. Akashi had an angry look in his eyes, one that couldn’t help but ripple off of him in waves of his scent. “Where are they?”

Kirishima looked down at him before shrugging. “I don’t know who you’re talking about-”

“Don’t play stupid with me, Kirishima.” he let out threateningly. “Where the fuck is my Omega?”

“I didn’t know you had one.”

Aomine rolled his eyes getting fed up on behalf of all of them. “Y/N! Where is Y/N!”

Eijiro blinked before putting on a surprised face. “Oh Y/N…” He let out as he folded his arms. “Y/N is safe away from you.”

“Away from us?” Aomine stepped forward causing Katsuki to do the same. Noticing the scuffle, Izuku paused with a basket of nectarines in his arms. He handed them to Shoto who’s eyes widened in surprise before heading over to Eijiro and Katsuki’s side. Aomine scoffed before looking to Eijiro. “They are our Omega!”

“Discipline? Slapping an Omega, that’s what you call discipline?” Eijiro asked, his patience wearing thin as he stepped forward, suddenly, the area around them grew quiet as people stopped what they were doing to spectate the group. “How dare you treat an Omega like that?”

Akashi scoffed. “It’s none of your concern.”

“It’s all of my concern as Head Alpha.”

The magenta haired Alpha growled in annoyance. “You worry about your pack members and I’ll worry about mine.”

All it took was one glance to Aomine and suddenly there was a gun pointed at Katsuki. Everything happened so fast, Eijiro wasn’t entirely sure if he could even say a single word before it happened. He froze as the piercing sound rang through the air, everyone diving down in fear of the bullet. Eijiro’s heart stopped as he could barely breathe.

Katsuki was down on the ground, Izuku having tackled the blond Alpha before the shot could have gotten him. Katsuki put his hands to his head, feeling that he was in fact alive and not dead. However, Izuku let out a pained groan from atop of him. It was then that Katsuki quickly realised the green haired Alpha had been shot in his place. Warm hot blood spilt down from Izuku onto Katsuki making the blond trigger in a reaction. “Deku!” He pushed Izuku up, trying to see where all the blood that was now falling onto him was coming from. Izuku’s shoulder had an entrance hole from the bullet in it as he let out  pained groans as he held his shoulder. His eyes were squeezed shut as in agony as he bit down on his bottom lip. He bit back pained cries as he lay in Katsuki’s lap now. Katsuki put a hand to Izuku’s face. “You fucking idiot… It’s okay, it’s alright.” Katsuki said lowly. He looked up at one of the bystanders. “SOMEONE CALL A FUCKING MEDIC!”

Eijiro was frozen before looking at Akashi. Katsuki looked up and watched as Eijiro’s eyes turned black as his arm hardened.

You paced back and forth as you stood outside the medical bay on the grounds. The screaming had stopped a few hours ago. It was enough to make one sick. When you had heard all that had happened while you stayed in Eijiro’s cabin, you felt absolutely ridden with guilt. Learning that Izuku had taken a built all because of a scuffle concerning you had you feeling as though maybe you had done the wrong thing.

The door opened into the late evening air, the cycads singing the entire time. You looked up to Eijiro who closed the door behind him. He let out a heavy breath but smiled at you. “He’s going to be fine.” You let out a relieved breath, nearly falling to your knees. “Whoa!” Eijiro quickly caught you in his arms, holding you up.

You leaned your head against his chest as you tried to fight back the tears that spilt from your eyes. “Oh thank goodness.” You whispered in relief. “I was so worried. I couldn’t bare it if he-” You couldn’t say it as it got stuck in your throat.

Eijiro gave you a gentle smile before shaking your head. “No, don’t worry. Recovery girl is one of the best in the game, and her quirk is healing so he’ll make a good recovery. We just don’t have anaesthesia left so he had to go through removing the bullet awake. He passed out not too long ago though.” He reported. You kept your eyes squeezed shut as you held onto him for dear life. Eijiro frowned as he pet down your back. He picked you up and started walking down the dirt path.

You all had to be especially quiet after all that had happened. From the gun shot, to the fight that had happened afterwards, it was way too much noise and brought enough dead to your door that was unnecessary. You hard heard that Eijiro, Iida, Shinso and Sero had effectively kicked the miracles out of the community. It was only due to the sheer number of undead outside was the reason they didn’t kill them.

Alive enemies were worse than dead ones.

But you just hoped they wouldn’t bother any of the pack again. You didn’t want to be the cause of problems.

Eijiro carried you safely in his arms towards his cabin. Most of the pack had gone to dinner or were with Izuku currently. You chose to wait outside, wanting some time to yourself. Although the Omegas comforted you through it, telling you that this wasn’t because of you and none of this was your fault, you still felt consumed by guilt.

Eijiro entered his cabin, closing the door back with his foot as he walked over to his bedroom. This cabin wasn’t bigger than the others, but Eijiro had it all to himself (Head Alpha perks). His thumb traced over the knuckles of your fingers as he did so. “Your reasoning and commitment towards the betterment of the people around you and the community you find yourself in was… well, it was admirable. I found it admirable. I found myself drawn to you. I would have done this for any Omega that found themselves in this situation, it isn’t right to be treated that way. However,” He reached a hand up to your face, gently caressing you. “I found myself entranced with you… I hope you can forgive me for that.”

You swallowed down hard before a small sad smile came to your face. You shook your head as tears came to your eyes. “There’s nothing to forgive.” You shrugged with a soft whisper.

Eijiro smiled making the butterflies in your stomach flutter. Eijiro… you couldn’t help but get so giggly with him around. In the spirit of Valentine's, how about GoM+Kagami+Himuro+Takao trying to make handmade chocolates to confess to their crush because their crush mentioned that was their most preferred way of receiving a confession?

Kuroko: He may or may not have snuck into Kagami's house while the other male was making chocolates to learn a thing or two from him. That being said, his own homemade chocolates are not that bad. He manages to make small, bite sized pieces of milk chocolate that melt in your mouth. And your hand and your pocket and your containers and... well, they can't seem to hold their shape at all.

Kagami: He's always been great at cooking, so chocolate making didn't seem that far off for him. He's able to make decent looking little chocolate truffles, but his presentation for them is absolutely lacking. Stuffed into a tupperware container with a sticky note slapped on top, he shakily hands it to you the next day in hopes that the flavor of the chocolate would speak more than his decorating skills.

Kise: He spends such a long time making sure that the chocolates he makes look aesthetically pleasing, that he forgets to actually make sure that they taste as good as well. He manages to make the cutest little truffles, each one decoratively painted with edible shimmer that make them look so delectable, but the second you pop one into your mouth, you're met with the most awful, bitter taste of burned candy.

Aomine: He had never been good at making sweets. The only thing he was sure of was that he could not, under any circumstances, follow any of Momoi's advice unless he wanted to accidentally poison you. He ends up going the easy route and finds those ready-made candy melts that he can just microwave and put into molds, but even that gets a little messed up when he winds up breaking half of them.

Midorima: Prior to his planned confession, he spent weeks watching video after video, tutorial after tutorial, just to learn the best method for chocolate making. The whole process ends up being harder than he initially thought, but the end result are halfway decent sweets that he seems proud to present to you. He even goes to slightly extra mile by finding a decorative bag to store them in.

Takao: The process of making chocolates is a complete mess. He doesn't know how to cook and even less so does he know how to create sweets. He ends up burning a lot of them, but doesn't want to waste the ones he's made already, so he eats them himself. Ends up getting violently sick from eating all the burnt chocolate and he looks physically ill when he hands you the measly good ones he's managed.

Murasakibara: He's always been good at making sweets and confectionaries, as it's a particular interest of his, so making the chocolates for Valentine's Day was never the problem. However, actually handing them over to you for a confession? He seems hesitant, not because he doesn't want you to have them, but because he's unsure how to do so without it being awkward.

Himuro: He's a bit stubborn when it comes to asking for help from people he knows are better at chocolate making, so he decides instead to follow a video step by step. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't have all the necessary equipment used in the video, so he spends a lot of time improvising. The chocolates end up actually coming out decent, but he's disappointed that they're not perfect.

Akashi: Chocolate making may be something he's not actually good at, as the kitchen is a disaster by the time he's through making the sweets. There's a cook standing with him in the kitchen, offering him pieces of advice, but he is constantly shutting them down and insistent that he can do it on his own. He brings the chocolates to his room that night so the chef can't switch them out for other ones.

Bertolt Hoover x Reader: KNB & AOT crossover

A/N: I recently saw this post about Bertolt as a basketball player in a modern human AU, and as a KNB writer and as someone that everyone knows at this point has been stuck with an AOT brainrot for a month or two now- I needed to write this.

Bertolt Hoover was a foreigner born and raised in Japan. Throughout his life, it had drawn him some curiosity. People asking him about his ancestry, family abroad and what kind of languages he spoke. It had also, drawn the attention of the volleyball team and basketball team alike at middle school, because of his height. With the encouragement of his senior by a year, Ogiwara Shigehiro, he had joined the Meiko basketball team and he quickly turnt out to be have great talent. Though it wasn't enough to stop the force of Teiko middle school. Not that Bertolt had lost hope or the will to play basketball, no. As the team manager, you had been trying to keep as many players to keep their spark burning. Honestly, he kept playing in his final year just to see you smile and praise him. It was safe to say Bertolt had a colossal crush on you. It wasn't anything he had ever felt before, nothing to compare to hid old crushes like Annie, the girl next door at his uncle's home in the Netherlands. Just hearing your voice on the court had his heart pumping twice as much as adrenaline into his veins as possible. When middle school ended, Bertolt decided to attend Seirin high school. The reason he gave everyone was how he admired the way Kuroko had humbled the Generation of Miracles and that with Seirin's team being so new, Bertolt wanted to help them fill their ranks with talent. The actual reason, was because you planned on going there. High school was just like middle school when he was on the court, you were still there with your stern but warm voice keeping him steady. Even Midorima has noticed your crush on her, and he's almost as dense about social relations as our manager is." Bertolt swallowed and looked at Kuroko for advice, at least he was good with the ladies unlike both Bertolt and Kagami. "I think Kagami-kun is right. It is painfully obvious to anyone, at this point she will never notice if you don't straight up tell her. However," Kuroko observed, "I don't think she will say no. Trust me on that." Bertolt had trusted the blue haired teen many times on the court and knew his observational skills were phenomenal. So he decided to trust him once more. He walked towards you with shaking knees and you looked at him. "Please don't tell me you got injured," your concerned eyes were glued on his knees so much you didn't saw his red face. "Y-y-y-/n…" Bertolt stuttered and that caused you to look up as he rarely did. You frowned and Koganei intervened with a sigh, if there is one thing this catboy was good at, it was lending a voice to those who needed it. He wrapped his arm around Bertolt's shoulder and casually declared, "He's trying to ask you out!" Bertolt's face grew even more red as everyone around you stared at Koganei for daring to intercept the love confession. However as Bertolt saw the hopeful look in your eyes, he was absolutely grateful for his teammate. "Is that true Bertolt?" He nodded and you shrieked yes as you pulled him (and Koganei by extent) into a hug. Seirin's basketball team cheered around the two of you as you entered a new chapter together.

It'd been a week since your second date with Kasamatsu… Was it even a date? You were hanging out with him, as a senpai and kouhai would... Right? Truthfully, you couldn't differentiate between the two. There's always been touching in any friendship and relationship you had. Whether it was friendship or family... How would you begin to describe a relationship? 

'I had a really fun time. Thank you for accompanying me, Kasamatsu-senpai!'

'You don't need to thank me ____.... I had a fun time.'

His text from that night echoes through your mind, and you find it's hard to concentrate on anything since then... The hand holding at the table burns through your memory, and you swear you can feel his skin touching yours. Your hand still tingles from when he reciprocated the hand holding, causing your lips to turn into a smile. 

"Did you have a fun time at dinner, _____-san?"

Blinking, you snapped your head up at Kuroko's words, cheeks burning from his question.

Your head snaps up, meeting his blue hues with slightly worried hues. Oh man.... The idea of your brother finding out... You swallow, trying to stop the shaking in your hand.

"....W....What should I do.... Tetsu-kun?" you whisper, pain evident in your voice. "I... I'm not sure how I feel about Kasamatsu-senpai... But I always enjoy our time together... He makes me happy... And laugh... He treats me normal... As if I'm visible."

You look at Nigou, trying hard to hide the tears from your best friend. You don't want to draw attention to yourself... Not while practice is going on...

"_____-san..." Kuroko's voice is soft, and you feel his hand on your shoulder, causing you to meet his gaze once more, "What you need to do is figure out how you feel about Kasamatsu-san first... Don't stress about telling Kise-kun." he whispers, gently massaging your shoulder.

"I...It's not just about telling Ryouta…." you murmur, gently biting your bottom lip, "H...How will Kasamatsu-senpai react to learning I'm Ryouta's twin sister?.. What if he gets disgusted with me, and doesn't want to be friends anymore... Never mind how I feel about him..."

You still have no idea how you feel about the hot-headed captain. You've kept your meetings under wraps, with him coming to meet you at Seirin… He's supposed to come over tomorrow to help you study for an upcoming math test... Surely the rest of his team has begun to feel suspicious of his actions? What if you got caught? It's not as though you were doing anything wrong... But you have no idea what to make of the situation with Kasamatsu… That's why you wanted to explore these feelings without many people knowing...

But now...

"Kasamatsu isn't the type of guy to run away _____."

You gasp, turning your head when Kagami sits on the other side of the bench, lightly pounding on your head. You whimper, casting him a glare accompanied by a pout, gently rubbing your head from where he bumped it.

"H... How do you know, idiot?"

He sighs, rolling his eyes before giving you a noogie, ignoring your cries, "Have you seen him commanding his team? If he was the type of man to run away, he would not be so confident on the court. Instead, he came at us head on, leading with his actions and plays."

You're grabbing onto Kagami's shirt at that point, trying hard not to cry at his rough play. But some of his points were valid... If Kasamatsu was the type to run away, he wouldn't have lead a team with your brother... More importantly...

He would've bowed down to Ryouta.

Your eyes soften, and you stop struggling, feeling Kagami release you gently before patting your back.

"Instead of focusing on the negative, why don't you talk to Kasamatsu first? It's obvious you guys are friends. We're not going to tell Kise cause he won't shut up about it otherwise. So, just take things slow, ____. Don't stress about the small things."

Your eyes light up, and you feel yourself relaxing, a gentle smile on your lips... Who knew Kagami could give such great advice?

"Taiga..."

"For once, I agree with Kagami-kun."

Your eyes go back to Kuroko, who's now holding onto Nigou in his arms.

"Talk with Kasamatsu-san, _____-san. Figure out what the two of you want first. I don't think Kise-kun would be upset if you were friends with him at the very least. It would probably make him happy you're expressing interest in his team."

You take in the phantom's words, biting your lip with mild anxiety. It's true you wanted to start fresh, and forge your own path without Kise's influence... But maybe, the influence you need is Kasamatsu's… You don't say anything else, just nodding at them before going to clean up the gym from practice, contemplating your options... You want Kasamatsu to see all of you, but the fear of him learning about Kise's relationship to you has always held you back in some way... You were grateful he hasn't put the two together yet. 

You let out a soft sigh, finishing the cleaning before heading home. You had a lot to think about, and you were hoping you'd have some clarity after hearing both Kagami and Kuroko's supporting advice.

It's been a week since he's seen you, and whether Kasamatsu admits it or not, it's been slowly driving him crazy. Aside from dealing with his chaotic ace on a regular basis, he finds his favourite moments are when he's with you, away from the team. If Kasamatsu is being honest, he's not sure how to digest where his relationship with you stands. Even in this moment, as he listens to music on his phone, laying on his bed, thoughts of you invade his mind, leaving him breathless... He sighs, rubbing his forehead before directing his gaze out the window, eyes narrowing.

One things for certain, he can't get you out of his head, and he's not sure whether he likes it or hates it.

You're trying to start your own small business and you're having a little trouble, which is not unusual that happens sometimes!

You were having trouble hiring employees and you were talking to him about it, and he was in a bad mood prior to you approaching him

"You're not going anywhere with this. It would just be better to give up on it. You're not going to make it that far even if you do succeed. And can you leave? I'm busy and all you're doing is acting as a distraction."

You just froze, you couldn't believe what he had just said

Not only did he know how much work you were putting in, he also knew how excited you were for the future of your shop too

You didn't even say anything, you just froze with shock, hurt, and surprise and stomped out of his office

You left the house, you needed some time to cool off and cry

It took Akashi a second to realize what he had said and how hurtful his words were, so he started looking all over for you in the house. He goes into the garage to see your car is gone and he assumes the worst.

You don't pick up the phone when he calls you or answer his texts, opting to turn it off after the fifth call.

You stay by your best friend for the night and they comforted you and told you he probably didn't mean it, and that you can stay as long as you need

After you leave from by your friends place you go to your favorite cafe for some breakfast

And guess who's there, Akashi.

You turn around and walk out because you were honestly not ready to deal with him just yet and it was too early in the morning for all that

He catches you on the way out and apologizes :)

"Love, I apologize for what I said yesterday. It was inconsiderate, hurtful, and wrong. You've been working so hard on your business and you're doing your best to make it happen. I was in a bad mood yesterday and I dont know what came over me. Will you forgive me?"

Looking you in the eye as he spoke every word, holding your hands and rubbing them, you know he was truly sorry and wants to fix what he did.

"I forgive you Sei, but what you said was really hurtful. You know how much this means to me and how much work I've been putting in. But I do forgive you."

He takes you out to eat at your favorite restaurant and watch a movie afterwards back at home, kisses you tons and holds you in his arms when you fall asleep.

He also puts in a good word with his work associates about your business and you gain more employees and popularity! But unless you want to do it completely on your own he's there supporting you every step of the way and giving you advice :)

Midorima

He acts like your affection is kryptonite, even though you're not a clingy or overly-affectionate person

You guys had been together for about 3-4 months

He always brushes you off even at the most simplest acts of affections, you're starting to really question if he even wants to be together.

Well this particular time he embarrassed you in front of the team :/

There was a break in between practice and you went to give him his water bottle and give him a hug

"Hey Shin he's your water bottle, don't work yourself too hard okay?"

After that you went in for a quick hug but he held a hand against your chest and glared at you

"Why are you always so clingy? You're always on me and its annoying. Can you just leave me alone or leave?"

He said that right in the middle of the court, everyone's eyes were on you and you felt embarrassed.

"...alright."

That's all you after said you shoved the water bottle into his hand and walked out of the gym.

Takao was the one to call him out on his behavior and tell him that he was being rude and that he should apologize

Midorima took that advice and after practice, he went to find you and apologize, except you weren't anywhere he checked or thought you would be

You avoided him for 3 days straight until he arrived at your house unannounced

Your lucky item in his hand, he gives you a well deserved apology

"Y/N I- I'm sorry that I was being rude to you. There was no reason for me to act like that and I haven't been appreciating you like I should. That was rude of me and I hope you except my apology. Also- this is your uh lucky item."

Is very busy and it's sometimes hard to make time for you :(

When you finally managed to catch him, you said you wanted to go out and just catch up because you two haven't spent much time together and he agreed

Aomine honestly didn't know you felt that way

Now that he looks back at it, it has been mainly you doing most of the stuff in the relationship, and he can see why you feel like it's only you trying

"You're right, it has been mainly you doing stuff for both of us. I'm gonna start putting in more effort because it's time I do. I'm sorry that I've been making shitty excuses to not hang out with you, and cancelling all of a sudden. I'll be honest when I don't feel like going out and I'll spend more time with you."

He makes it up to you by taking you to a festival and going to see a movie with you

True to his word, he starts putting more effort into y'alls relationship and you two take turns planning dates

And if he doesn't feel like going out you guys have at home dates instead :)

Kuroko will be attracted to you but he will not approach you at all because he would be so nervous.

Kuroko would talk about how your hair grazed him a little while you guys were in the lunch line and he'll just reminisce about how soft your hair was and how pretty you were when you smiled and looked at him.

He could feel himself blush every time you come around and everyone would notice.

You were the first person that always knew he was there or just randomly know he's present, it made him feel so special about himself, and he didn't even know why.

Kuroko tried to get advice from Kagami but he just told him to stop being a wimp and just talk to you.

Kuroko eventually started talking to you and you guys hit it off, and it was sudden change in Kuroko's demeanor that everyone noticed and of course it was because of you.

There’s something about Aomine’s behavior towards Kagami that fascinates me.

Teiko! Aomine is an affectionate person that goes around wrapping his arm around someone’s shoulder or pat people’s heads. We barely see him doing that out of genuineness during his darkest times in Touou and after he starts pushing people away from him.

Now that he starts opening up again, I find it really interesting that not only did he start using action to show that he cares for someone, he also does it in a subtle away.

With Kagami, he uses actions through basketball. We all know out of all the GoM and the other characters, Aomine and Kagami are the ones that love basketball the most. Which makes their match even more special and important. Not only Kagami is the one that makes Aomine feel happy again playing the very sport he loves, he is also the one who brought back the light back in Aomine’s eyes.

So in what way Aomine show his gratitude and his growing like towards Kagami? Through basketball. He gave him his shoes that he kept in a box which is been hinted that he kept it for a while now. (It has dust all over it). He has a whole collection of them hidden inside his house and he gave one that Kagami immediately took a liking of (it’s red too).

Aomine from the very start, wanted to give the shoes (a very expensive one too) to Kagami but because he was still awkward, he challenged him for a one-on-one. The after scene was where we know that the shoes was intentional. Aomine soon gave him advices about the Zone. He was the only one who has a proud expression when the others were shocked with Kagami easily entering the Zone during a match.

He also goes his way in cheering for both Kagami and Kuroko when they are in the verge of giving up, surprising those around him. A very unusual thing for Aomine to do for someone.

There is just- Something about the way Aomine behaves around Kagami and in the Last Game, Fujimaki-sensei makes it pretty obvious, as clear as day that Kagami is important to him.

In the manga, Kagami is still staying in Japan but in the movie; he left the country to pursue his dream in America. Those couple of moments by the end of the movie doesn’t exist in the manga and perhaps, can be also seen an as alternate route. The fact that Aomine was written to be the only one bothered about Kagami leaving is something. He is also the one who decided to go to America as well. Right after Kagami’s plane took off.

Let’s not forget.

Him lending a hand towards Kagami in the game. Not once but twice. In a close proximity where they both jumping close to the hoop, to defend and attack. He never does that with anyone in the team but when it comes to Kagami, he goes all the way to go at him in the most subtlest way of showing “you can’t do it alone, idiot” by masking off by making it seem like Kagami can’t manage to score one himself.

It’s something.

GoM+Kagami Headcanons

Midorima: He was absolutely obsessed with horoscopes as a kid, and he carried his lucky item around all the time. He was just getting over the obsession and didn't carry around his item for the day when one of his friends died to an accident. So he became all tsundere and refused to miss a single day of his horoscope and got his lucky item every day. 

Murasakibara: He grows his hair out for a few reasons. He’s too lazy to cut it, he doesn’t fit the barber’s chairs, and he doesn’t like the looks he gets when he walks in. He doesn’t like being stared at because he’s so tall, or because of his hair colour. Barbers also tend to mess up because of his purple hair, and they’re too busy marvelling over the fact that it’s his natural hair colour than cutting his hair right. Either that or they always think his hair is dyed and asks him what dye he uses because they don’t believe someone has naturally purple hair. So he only gets his hair cut when he absolutely needs to, or he does it himself which doesn’t end up very neat. 

Akashi: More often than not, after a stressful day (basically everyday) he’ll lock himself in a room and close his eyes. Then he’ll imagine life with his mother here, and think about what she’d tell him. Then he’d take his own advice and use it. He’d also take that advice and give it to his friends/teammates, saying it was from his mother. It’s actually very good advice. Akashi has also dyed his hair and worn contacts before (when he went somewhere on vacation) to see what it would be like if he were to be ‘normal’ and he found it boring. 

Kuroko: On the basketball team, before joining the GoM, he would often get bullied about how bad he was, even compared to the other players. His odd coloured hair and height were also factors to his bullying. So he would use his lack of presence to slip away, even if he didn’t know about it yet. It was just a helpful skill that he often used. 

Kise: It’s canon that Kise is actually pretty dumb, since he panicked and needed to  borrow that pencil thing from Midorima and Kuroko. But he’s basically just a quick learner, with his copying, as Riko said. So he would actually be really smart if he paid attention to class and didn’t have girls fangirling over him all the time. Or if he practiced basketball and modelled less and took more time to study. So he’d actually be smart if he tried. He also learned the hard way that you can’t copy running, after losing several races. 

Kagami: When he gets nervous, he starts rambling in a mixture of English and Japenese, and sometimes it gets to the point where he says half the word in one language and the other half in the other. (Don’t ask me how that works.) At that point it’s a lost cause and even Himuro can’t understand him until he calms down. He also often swears or insults someone in English, and takes great pleasure in the fact that they can’t understand him. 

Aomine: Despite his complaints about how basketball was boring because he was so good at it, he had never considered quitting or trying another sport.  Once Kagami beat him, he’d often call him to play basketball together. In secret of course, he’d never let anyone know. Despite hating him, Aomine would give Kagami tips on how to get better, half because he had a heart in him somewhere, and half so he would have a formidable opponent next time they played.  He loved it because it meant he could actually go full power on someone without having to worry about them giving up. 

Extra:  Basically everyone who interacts with the GoM (their separate teams or smthn) has called their meetups the joining of the gays/skittles/the forming of a rainbow.

A/n: This is mostly fluff but there’s a little angst around in there somewhere. I know this isn’t all of them but I’ll do the rest later once I finish season 2 and start season 3

They all need themselves a partner that’s a hard worker and not just a trophy, none of them would treat you like an object.

Idc what anybody says, they’ll all love you regardless of what you look like, period.

The main thing is that they need a partner that’s going to be their support system no matter what.

Someone that’s going to push them to achieve their goals, without abandoning their personal goals

Teppei needs someone that’s really nurturing.

He loves it when you wrap his knee and take care of him. Not because he’s lazy or anything but because it makes him feel loved and cared for.

If you ever broke up it would be because he keeps getting hurt. And you guys probably argued and you mayhaps told him that you hated basketball.

Teppei would apologize for making you worry. And he’d find a way to make up for it. Perhaps giving you a day to rest and taking care of you. He’d make you a bento, get the bath started, maybe even go as far as to do your laundry.

Teppei loves your hugs, they’re warm.

Mitobe needs someone that can understand him since he doesn’t speak.

He’d make you pastries and give them to you when he sees you.

He needs someone really kind and sweet because he’s a bit of a pushover. He needs someone that’s not gonna push him to be someone he’s not.

His idea of a date is you guys baking together me then cuddling

Izuku is sarcastic 24/7 so when he tells you he likes you, you don’t think he’s being serious

You fall for his sarcasm EVERY SINGLE TIME and he thinks it’s fucking hilarious

Hyuga is a sucker for someone that puts him in his place when he’s being rude

Despite being confident in his abilities as a captain, your constant reassurance really helps him (although he won’t admit it)

He’s actually surprisingly good at giving advice and he cares about his partner’s wellbeing a lot

Koganei needs a realistic partner, neither overbearingly optimistic or pessimistic, to combat his pessimism.

Someone that’ll listen to him when he just feels like talking, would definitely be a good fit.

He likes fun dates, like a festival or carnival.

He’s friendly and outgoing so staying inside is not an option.

Riko wants someone hard-working and dedicated. But if her s/o just so happens to be lazy, she’ll be the one to push you.

She gets body-shamed a lot so it’s important to reassure your love for her.

Her s/o must be able to cook because she’s not the best at it. Teach her so that her team won’t hate her cooking

Take care of her, she’s always looking out for her team and tends to stay up worrying about the next game. Tell her when it’s time to go to bed. When she falls asleep at her desk, take her shoes off for her and wrap your jacket around her.

Tsuchida is very shy, so someone that will encourage him to be more open is a great fit

Not much is known about him but he really likes cats, so if you have a cat, you’re already halfway there

Your cat must be a nice and friendly kitty. And you have to take very good care of them

He jokes about only being with you for your cat but in truth he really likes you.

Koichi is a funny guy, at least he thinks he is, so laugh at his jokes.

Cheer for him, even when he’s benched because he worked so hard for his team

He’s very skeptical so when you tell him you like him, make sure it’s very clear

Be his motivator

When he really likes someone I think he’d blush around them constantly

Kagami is a really kind-hearted guy but he’s very blunt sometimes. He’s not going to tell you what you want to hear but what you need to hear.

Remember when Momoi went to Seirin about Aomine? Yeah, he’s not one to understand how to comfort people. But he wants to learn.

Don’t even ask him to take a break from basketball, even though you see it could potentially hurt him. Basketball is his lifeline.

If he likes you, he’ll definitely stop letting Alex in his house, because she’s always naked and tries to kiss him.

When he’s out with you in public, expect that Kuroko will randomly show up out of nowhere.

He overworks himself a lot so maybe make him dinner from time to time. He may be too tired to cook.

Kuroko Tetsuya

Kuroko is the hardest person to find a “negative/toxic” trait in, and it doesn’t seem like he has any

kind, understanding, hardworking, and compassionate; he’s everything a good-natured protagonist is

but he’s only like this to people/hobbies he cares about/close with; anything else he’s quite apathetic and also very passive/neutral about

the biggest hint to this is when Akashi criticizes Kuroko for cherry-picking who the GoMs should “go all out against” and who to casually toy with

and Akashi is absolutely correct

most of the series is portrayed through Kuroko’s perspective, and Akashi is the first direct outside perspective who comments on his actions/attitude

it’s obviously not that Kuroko didn’t “notice”... he clearly sees and knows what these GoMs are doing; after all, he had a conversation with Aomine about how observant he is to everything around him

of course, if you were close to him, all your opinions and issues matter to him

it’s the fact that what’s not really important to him is suddenly now important just because someone he knows is involved

just an example: if someone was advocating climate change, he has no opinion on it until someone he knows cares about the issue

in other words, he has a subtle hypocritical view on things, especially when he interacts with others

another clear negative trait could be that he’s too idealistic or perhaps naive, seeing things in a clear black-or-white picture and not necessarily a gray area

WE know, as an audience, that the GoMs honestly needed therapy and a proper adult to guide their out-of-control talents

but Kuroko, in his eyes, had viewed them as “bad” and “evil” in their ways of basketball until they changed after their respective matches

he’s probably someone who doesn’t yield to other opinions once he forms his own, and this may make him unable to consider things in other people’s perspectives

which is again, ironic: someone who doesn’t have generally a strong stance but once they do, it’s very unyielding, which further proves Akashi’s comment about Kuroko’s tendency to nitpick which to care about

a final hc about a potential flaw he might have here in a different ask!

Kise Ryota

y’all… it’s as canon as day that he has a mean side

straight from the author himself, it’s confirmed that Kise is only kind to those who he respects, and to the rest, he’s cold-hearted

in the manga, it’s very clear that he’s super judgmental on every first impression on people he meets, boxing them into categories based on the way they look, act, and speak

only when they surpass his preset expectations (low or high depends on his preliminary judgments of them) is when he opens his mind to the rest of their personality

this is a very close-minded way of thinking, and I hope I don’t need to explain why LOL

this can be interpreted as him being two-faced by the majority of the people in his school

his way of speaking can definitely be very cruel and crass, and to sensitive people, his words can easily shatter hearts

Kise’s negative/toxic traits are pretty straightforward here, so let’s move on

Midorima Shintarou

his harsh words can be considered a “negative” part of his personality, but I think it’s a lot more than just that

it’s confirmed in the series that he’s a bystander and almost always minds his own business

on one hand, one can say he’s self-driven and that he constantly strives for self-improvement

on the other, it can be interpreted as him being very dangerously ambitious and selfish, in which most actions he takes are for the sole reason of self-improvement and not for altruistic reasons

for example, when he helped Kuroko and Kagami in the training camp, it was under the reasoning that them becoming stronger would be a good challenge for himself to test and learn

that’s not to say that he can’t have friends, but most friendships he’s built are with capable people who can potentially provide him with some new beneficial skill/goal to strive towards

after all, he’s only learned to trust Takao as a friend only after seeing him as someone capable

because he’s so focused on himself, he’s extremely likely to turn a blind eye to injustice, most also likely to use Oha Asa to justify their “misfortunes” as he continues on his day

he’s not cold-hearted, but altruism comes by Midorima a lot rarer than the average person

now, we know that his Oha Asa aspect is used to balance his serious side as the “comedic side” of him, but if we really think about it, his obsessions with the horoscopes could be a huge obstacle in the future, where he may refuse to listen/depend on others in favor of his own intuition and the stars; after all, no one knows everything, and depending on the stars as one’s next source of advice and guidance isn’t a sound decision to commit themselves to

he seems like the person who overthinks and jumps to conclusions when it comes to social situations, but instead of confronting the person, he turns to fate and fortune if Takao isn’t near to help

Aomine Daiki

I wouldn’t be surprised if Aomine had a skewed sense of beauty standards from all those magazines he consumed and from being around Momoi for the majority of his life

of course anyone can distinguish pieces of media from reality, but during the most impressionable years of life, without experiencing other types of people and physiques, he would have limited knowledge on what “beauty” is and whatnot

this probably would be more of a problem in his adolescence than adult

a very given negative trait is his short temper plus his tendency to turn to physical violence when someone nags him to a certain point, seen with how he’s treated Wakamatsu in the beginning (though this seems to almost disappear by the end of the series)

what I’ve noticed in every scene he’s in, is that everything seems to revolve around him and his hobbies of basketball and Japanese idols

what I mean is that everytime we see Aomine, it’s always Momoi approaching to Aomine or just him always being the center of attention; never once has he approached Momoi for anything and it’s always been the other way around

in other words, people have to cater to him in order to get along with him/be in good graces (additional example: Imayoshi letting him do as he pleases to get him to be cooperative and participate in the games)

we’ve actually never seen Momoi’s hobbies outside of being a manager for her basketball teams and just anything basketball-related

he can be quite apathetic, choosing to only pay attention and try in things he’s interested in… which is basketball and those magazines

he seems to mature in the Last Game though, so I’m not quite sure to what extent these headcanons would apply to older Aomine (these also don’t really apply to Puremine)

Momoi Satsuki

the author probably also included this type of anime trope as comedy, but belittling another female for her body is definitely a no-go in reality; I feel like this is something most people gloss over really lightly

her body comments on Riko are actually what made me skeptical of her character at first before the show really shows her entire personality

that being said, it seems that she always takes the opportunity to look down on other girls (especially to those she is a stranger to) as a sort of “competition” when there’s boys around

definitely at certain moments, she screams a “pick-me girl” type of person (real phenomenon, you can search this up!)

while Kuroko doesn’t seem to actively mind this, I think she also has no good sense of boundaries and what’s considered appropriate touch and consent; people can chalk this up to “oh it’s just infatuation,” but this definitely isn’t okay if we really think about this

her life also seems to revolve around either Aomine or Kuroko, and based from that, I’d feel like she’d have a difficult time forming her own identity/life separate from her “manager life,” especially once she graduates from Touou

can definitely be interpreted as too clingy at certain moments, while others may think it’s her way of showing that she cares

Murasakibara Atsushi

most people would chalk up Murasakibara as “lazy,” and on the surface level, it does appear to look that way…

I think his true negative trait is that he has a lack of intrinsic motivations to drive him to do things

it’s different from being lazy; someone can be lazy while still having a goal, and certainly someone can be lazy while they’re motivated by thoughts of “I want to learn more,” “I want to get stronger,” etc. (you guys, it’s me right now in college)

and he doesn’t have that

part of this was contributed to the fact that he’s already so gifted with genetics and thus, there’s never been a goal for him to have to work towards to when he’s already at the top

he doesn’t actively seek out, and while that may be a characteristic of sloth, it’s not exactly right either

he willingly does things if people around him give him the motivations/reasons to do so; a person of sloth wouldn’t do anything even with all the motivations and goals handed right to their face

snacks/food are examples of extrinsic motivations that fuel him to carry on daily life

Himuro is always the main motivator for Murasakibara to come out and watch matches, and he also does whatever Akashi orders in both Teiko and present days // a person who can give the giant the motivation to do tasks would get along with him the most

searching out for a challenge against his basketball skills is something that’s never crossed his mind

why? he grew to be like the way he is because of the lack of results from his “search” of a challenge throughout his games

again, it’s only when Murasakibara gets handed a silver-platter of a challenge, Jason Silver, that actively gets him pumped up and raring to go

as such, Murasakibara is equivalent to a rusty machine, extremely difficult to start up and find compatibility with, but very powerful and efficient once he finds that spark

Murasakibara finding any partner or friend in the future would be extremely difficult because he ticks a different tune from the rest

Akashi Seijuro

his entire Bokushi side was a giant-ass red flag for very obvious reasons LOL anyways, moving on…

it’s difficult to pinpoint a negative characteristic for Oreshi because he’s the pinnacle of a gentleman character… but that technically is also his negative trait

for him to maintain that perfect image for himself and others, he has always carried himself in such a way that doesn’t allow for errors or expressions of “weakness”

thus, bottling up his frustrations and emotions to the point of no return is something very familiar to Akashi, and I’d feel like Bokushi is the result of his overflowing emotions left unchecked in the first place

I also predict that if Akashi continues to carry himself without letting himself wind down and feel emotions on the spot rather than locking it up inside him, a day will come when he splits into two halves again with a “new” Bokushi to deal with his current life (and let the current Oreshi take a backseat in his psyche to take a break from the turmoil)

also will tend to overwork himself to manage people’s expectations as well as his own, and he’s not one to depend on people not because he sees them as inferior or incapable, but because he’s doing this out of habit from being in positions of authority and responsibility for much of his life

and so, he may tend to hide important things or just not speak about his problems in general to those close to him because he feels like he can do it all himself and spare everyone the work and stress associated with them (a leader mentality)

throughout the majority of his life being calm and calculated, his emotions would definitely escape from him in forms of uncontrollable lashes of anger… before he would realize what he’s done… that is, assuming that another Bokushi hasn’t form within his subconscious yet

Kuroko — the boatswain

as the boatswain, Kuroko often reports to his captain about the progress of certain projects around the ship

his job is made a lot easier because of his naturally low presence; he's able to sneak around the ship without a lot of notice

this has people willing to get on his good side no matter the cost, because if he's easily able to report the great job you're doing, he's also able to report when people are slacking

Kagami — the (unwilling) cook

when he ran away from home to become a pirate, Kagami had big dreams of grand adventure and a lot of fighting

unfortunately, he's the best cook on the damn boat, so he got roped into being the chef for every meal instead

that doesn't stop him from joining in on a fight when there's a scuffle aboard his ship (the captain would never let him leave to board another ship)

Kiyoshi — the cooper

being a big and strong guy makes him the perfect candidate to be stowing and moving the barrels on board

this also means he is in charge of organizing all the items, which might not have been the best decision; only Kiyoshi knows how he organized the barrels and none of it makes sense to anyone else

he may or may not have done this on purpose to make himself invaluable to the captain

Kise — the navigator

not much of a fighter, but having gained an education due to his upbringing, Kise becomes the navigator for the crew

he's not very good at first and, in his earlier years pirating, often leads his crew right into the thick of danger

thankfully the devil's fruit he consumed gives him the power to temporarily copy the skillset of people nearby, so in a pinch he can fight just as well as his strongest ally

Aomine — the (unwilling) carpenter

much like his red haired rival, Aomine also joined a pirate crew with the thought that he would be seeing a lot of action

he was forced to pick up a job on board during the times where fights weren't happening, so he started apprenticing after the ship's old carpenter

more than once he's had to repair a breach underwater and he always swears he sees mermaids

Midorima — the medic

being the medic of the crew often meant that Midorima was dealing with more than just the sick; he was also dealing with the dead

he's one of the cleanest people on board the ship due to the nature of his work

often, he is escorted away from scuffles that break out on board; the captain will do anything to ensure the only medic is safe

Murasakibara — the sailmaker

being one of the taller members of his crew, it only made sense to make Murasakibara the sailmaker after he'd been asked to re-tie down some sails for the umpteenth time

the power he gained from his devil fruit has made the job of patching those high up holes much easier, as it allows him to grow at will to unsurpassable heights without changing his mass

unfortunately it also makes him an easier target when he's playing lookout for enemy ships

Akashi — the captain

having run away from home, Akashi starts his own pirate crew in the hopes that he can make a name for himself, whether he be famous or infamous

often rivaling pirates will not realize he's the captain at first since he isn't the largest and most ruthless looking of the group

what they fail to notice is that Akashi has certain pull from the shadows that makes him more terrifying than a traditional captain

Mibuchi — the quartermaster

as the captain's number one right hand man, Mibuchi knows the ins and outs on how to run a successful pirate crew

it's common that quartermasters become the next captain when new ships are taken over, but to Mibuchi, this would be a nightmare

often, instead of taking over new ships himself, he will assign another high ranked crew member to do it for him; he just can't leave his captain's side

Nebuya — the gunner

as the person in charge of the arsenals, Nebuya is also in charge of the main fleet that performs attacks on other ships

he runs a tightly knit, no nonsense fleet that is famed for their ruthlessness out on the open waters

he works closely with the captain and seems to be loyal, but there have been rumors lately that he's been eyeing out becoming a captain himself

Hayama — the cannon operator

the devil fruit he consumed makes him just as fast as lightning, so it's only natural that Hayama is in charge of reloading the canons

he works extremely well with whatever gunner is in charge, being able to pick up on their verbal cues just as quickly as they say them

whichever crew happens to have him on their ship is practically ensured easy victories, as he's become a master at knowing exactly which canons to fire and where at a moment's notice

Hanamiya — the stowaway

he'd hidden himself amongst some empty barrels when he first joined the pirate crew on their journey, but was soon discovered by the pesky cooper

once discovered, Hanamiya spent a lot of time in the brig while the captain debated with his crew on what to do with their stowaway

he garners some trust from them (a foolish mistake) and ends up doing small jobs around the ship to help; eventually he becomes known for ruthlessly executing whoever dares try sink the ship he's on

Yandere Taiga Kagami (Aged Up) Hc’s

🐅Kagami is lucid, overprotective and obsessive. He might come over as stubborn and idiotic at times, but he isn’t dumb. He realizes that his feelings are really not healthy and I personally believe that he’s ashamed of them. That guy is pretty protective over his darling and worries really a bit too much about them. It isn’t like he doubts them or their abilities, but...he has no reason actually. Just...just let him do it, alright? He’s also obsessive, not really terribly at the beginning since then he’s content with the little things. But it will later on grow more intense until he’s come to the point where he might steal something.

🐅Kagami is also possessive over you. Here I need to mention that it isn’t that bad of a possessive strike like with some other guys, but he has his territorial instincts. This steams from the fact that Kagami is insecure. He can think that he’s strong in basketball all he wants, but he isn’t the best when it comes to an relationship. As seen in the scene with Momoi he isn’t good in comforting people and if his darling should be female, this would make him all the more flustered. Also lovestruck. Taiga is a sucker for his s/o. Help this poor guy here.

🐅Kagami gets rather easily irritated when you’re around other people and it’s visible from the look on his face. But he at least tries to hold it in. It isn’t guaranteed that this will be from any use, but he tries. It ends most of the time anyways with him grabbing you by your hands and pulling you somewhere else, head smoking with jealousy. He doesn’t try to throw too much of a tantrum in front of the other person, but he can go rough if he wants to be and is also ready to throw actual hands and fists if needed.

🐅But despite his will to break someone’s face if triggered enough, I think he would need a lot of time until he decides to do this. Believe it or not, Kagami is a very sane Yandere and different from Aomine or Akashi he cares about this. His overprotectiveness leads him most of the time to only going as far as beating someone until they need to pay a longer visit to the hospital, but he most of the times never goes farther than this. If he does, than the other person will have to be prepared for something because it he really is triggered, he’s absolutely seething with rage.

🐅If it can be avoided, he’ll do his best. The thought of kidnapping his darling isn’t really appealing to him that much and due to his awareness he really just desires a at least normal looking relationship. But like everyone, he has his trigger events which would be you being in danger, even though he would most likely only lock you temporarily up then, or the worst, you trying to leave him. Because despite his tries to stay calm and collected, he still tends to snap and you leaving him is a nightmare, it’s everyone’s Yandere nightmare.

🐅That man has pride, but he’ll still find himself often asking his teammates for advice, most likely Kuroko since that guy is more romantic than some might think. He’s somewhat embarrassed about needing to ask for help, not to mention that his team is bound to tease the hell out of him. But he can’t really help it. He just has no clue on how to act in a relationship which will make it at the beginning your job to somewhat take the lead since he’s rather clumsy. He still wants to prove to you that he’s your man though, so expect him to try to glance on the court when you’re watching him and cheering him on.

Dating Headcanons for Aomine and Kagami

In honour of my dear friend Jackie @todorokibois​ finishing her rewatch of Kuroko no Basket, and the accompanying Ace Brainrot she has as a result, I have made this. Is it stupid long? Yes. Did I have fun making it? Yep! Am I going to have her screaming at me tomorrow? Absolutely! Anyway! Enjoy this monster of a headcanon folks!

Aomine Daiki x gn!reader x Kagami Taiga

Kinda an awkward fellow at first

He has the emotional awareness of a brick wall so he's not exactly the most in tune with his or others feelings

It would take quite a bit for him to even realize he has feelings for you

Oh man but once he does?

All those feelings he was denying or ignoring hit him hard and all at once

As if Daiki got hit by a bus (a bus made of feelings)

Once he has acknowledged that he likes you

Well, then he gets a little more awkward

Because he has no real clue what he is doing

He has asked Momoi about what he should do, considering she's the more emotionally aware one of the pair

But her suggestions largely consist of classic and almost stereotypical wooing gestures

So with her generic advice in mind

He will buy you flowers and ask you if you would meet him for coffee at "that one place you say you like"

(Like he totally doesn't remember the exact name, location and your regular order after you mentioned it a couple times)

Once you'd get there he would have your drink already ordered, with a nice snack for you there too

And as you sit down to chat and eat, he would hand you a nice bouquet of your favourite flowers

And ask you if you would like to go on a date with him sometime

If you don’t want to see a flustered Daiki, don't mention how this meetup for coffee could be a date.

He will have steam coming out of his ears, because he will internally malfunction.

Daiki will actually be genuinely suave once he figures out he doesn't need to be so performative all the time

You like him for him, not because he acts like a character from a shojo

Honestly there's nothing he enjoys more in this relationship then getting to see you smile

Listens to you so well, he is always attuned to you.

He will play every gift he gives you off as if he didn't remember you talk about how much you loved that piece jewellery because it reminded you of something a character wore in a few episodes of your favourite childhood cartoon one time 2 months ago

And he definitely didn't pick up extra jobs in order to get the cash to pay for it

No way, it was completely a coincidence.

As you may have guessed, the ever blunt and arrogant Aomine Daiki's love language is gift giving

He just wants to see you smile

And if making or buying you a little trinket just because it reminded him of you will do that then so be it

Daiki would honestly pay any amount of money or spend any amount of time if it meant he could make sure you felt loved

Dates are often spent with the two of you just chilling around the house

Netflix and take out on the couch while you wear your PJs? His favourite way to spend a Friday off

Dates where he tries to make you dinner from scratch? Yes please, he wants to impress you through your taste buds. (Which doesn't always work the way he wants)

But he does love to take you out for lunch or dinner

He will offer to pay for everything anytime you go out

Speaking of paying even if you insist on going Dutch

He is absolutely going to attempt to pay before you can even get your wallet out

It honestly becomes a game for you two to see who can pay for dinner first.

The only time he actually lets you pay on a date if say you're going to be driving some distance for a special date

Then he's chill if you pay for the snacks while he pumps gas on your way to that festival in the next city over you both wanted to attend.

He tries so hard to be a gentleman around you

You make him more humble, and he wants to be the best version of himself possible for you. Because you make him want to put in the effort to better himself.

But all that goes out the window the moment you attend one if his games

Then his usual attitude gets even worse, he becomes an actual monster when he plays on the days you watch

The pride he feels when winks at you as he scores the final basket of the games.

Its subtle but its his way of saying "See that babe? That was for you"

This man also lives for post games smooches

His team hates it (they're jealous because you two are so damn cute)

But he will always press his forehead to yours, and ask breathlessly if he can kiss you

Once you say yes, he leans in slow and with a ghost of an I love you resting on his tongue shows you just how he feels

His hands steady on your waist, holding you close as his lips press against yours and takes your breath away. The way you some how always manage to take his away every time he looks at you

When he pulls away for a breath, your noses touching, your lips still millimeters apart, he will tell you that he loves you

All in all, he may not know exactly what he's doing, but man is Aomine Daiki in deep. He wants nothing more than to be the light in your life that you've become for him. Please take care of this Ace's heart, he's trying his best for you.

Taiga is genuinely intense when he likes you

To the point where the moment he knows he likes you, you know too

Now to other people they may think its embarrassing, but he honestly doesn't care

Once Taiga's sure of his feelings for you the man could care less if other people knew

Because why should he hide away how he feels for the sake of other people

Arm wrapped around your shoulder as you walk beside him

Always offering to help you out even if it makes him go far out of his way

Actually telling you straight to your face that he's doing all these things because he has feelings for you and wants you to reciprocate them

Taiga really can be a tactless dumbass sometimes but, hey at least its cute how he's trying to woo you

So when you two are hanging out together, you have his undivided attention

Taiga honestly would schedule time in his training regiment's schedule when he's preparing for tournaments

Even if its just a 30 minute phone call

He sticks to it

And when you do start dating, he ensures that you go out on a date once every two weeks, minimum

Stay in dates are accepted and appreciated

In fact it was on one of those stay in dates where he asked you to be his significant other

He also texts you quite a bit

Even if its just to say "I know you're busy but make sure you remember to stay hydrated"

Or to send you a cute picture of #2

When you do go out, its usually to do some fun or spontaneous event

A pottery class? Sure why not

Rock climbing at a gym? Let's try it out, maybe you'll even catch each other falling so you can make a corny ass joke

A Tango class? Why not! It could even help with his footwork in basketball

Taiga just wants to spend time with you so he s down to try anything you want at least once

So as long as you're excited for it he'd be happy to accompany you

Even if its just to go get groceries.

He's not terribly jealous by himself, but sometimes if you're out on a date and he's feeling like he hasn't seen you enough in recent weeks

He might steal your attention back from whomever you were speaking with.

Will take you to professional level basketball games

Heck one time you two went to see the Harlem Globetrotters and it was one of the best nights of his life

The both of you were amazed by the tricks and laughing along with the jokes.

You both even got a signed ball after one of trick shots ricocheted off the rim of the basket hit him on the head.

You two have a custody agreement for that ball by the way

But hey that was the risk of sitting court side, and at least it was a great memory

By the time you two left the gym, your cheeks hurt from smiling so widely

And as you two discussed the event as you walked back to his car, the streetlights hitting your face just right

In that moment he realized that he was absolutely and intensely in love with you.

It was honestly really sweet. But did he tell you how he was feeling? N o p e

But speaking of basketball

You are invited to every single one of his games

He wouldn't be mad if you couldn't come to every one, but he hopes that you would come support him at his big tournament games

On the days you go, he plays about 1000 times better

Riko loves those days because he listens to her and the Hyuga when they propose strategies without complaint

She especially likes it because he never loses when you show up

Yes she does ask you to go to every game and practice Seirin has.

And after every game, he takes you out for dinner. Even if its just at a 24 hour fast food joint. You two share a meal after each and every game you attend

He honestly looks forward to those times more than the actual games sometimes

Taiga isn't the type for extreme PDA but you bet your ass he loves to kiss you

No matter where you are, if you’re out together, he's giving you kisses

His hands resting on your cheeks, delicately stroking your skin with his thumbs

As he tenderly presses his lips to yours, passion and adoration oozing from his kiss

Because even though he has a hard time saying how much he loves you

The emotions he can't quite find the right words to say all come through with every press of his lips against your skin

All in all, dating Taiga would be fantastic, he's caring, considerate and always confident in both you and the relationship.

Now let's start off by saying Taiga becomes so much more jealous when he realizes Daiki is also pursuing you

The pair immediately turn it into a competition

If one of them buys you lunch, the next day the other is taking you for an expensive dinner

(There's a reason for that) They bet that whoever won would be the only one to take you out for a month and the other person can't even ask.

Yes that bet is dumb

Yes their coaches kicked their asses for how they're behaving

After that they realize that maybe they shouldn't fight over you like you were a prize to be won

Because they both notice how much seeing each other fight like that hurts not just their relationships with you

But how it hurts, you in general

So with heavy and begrudging hearts they set their romantic rivalry aside

And come to you hearts in their hands and ask you if you'd give them both a chance

Because they recognize that at this point, if you haven't picked one of them

You probably aren't going to choose just one of them

And they would be damned if you chose to just walk away because of how they were acting

So after some explanations of their jealousy towards the other boy on their parts

And you willing to forgive their weirdness

You are now the happy owner of not one puppy of an Ace as a boyfriend.

But two doting Ace boyfriends!

Their individual relationships with you are mostly the same as above

But there are a few throuple dates, where you all go do something together

Heck sometimes the boys will do something without you and have little boys dates

By god can they be protective of you

Getting hit on and are uncomfortable? Daiki is dragging the person outside to beat the shit out of them while Taiga makes sure you're okay and feeling safe

They actually make a great team in terms of the relationship. Working in tandem to make sure you're happy, healthy, safe and feeling loved

The cuddle piles you find yourself in, are exquisite

Your back smooshed against Taiga's chest and Daiki's head resting on the top of your head while he holds you tightly

Who needs a blanket anymore? Certainly not you my dear, you have two very hot Aces to keep you warm now!

And you bet your ass those two will eventually end up kissing each other

Because well their competitive spirit towards each other never truly went away

Now their competitions look more like "who can kiss our significant other more"

(BTW the score for that one is Daiki III Taiga II, because Taiga fell asleep 3 hours before you and Daiki did the last time they played that game. Taiga still hasn't forgiven his brain for that)

The boys eventually come to terms with the fact that they think the other is hot, and sometimes (ie. Most times) they want to kiss.

They will absolutely deny it if asked by anyone but you. Because they don't mind you seeing them smooch, because then you may join them in the makeout session.

They may say they're as straight as an arrow, but every arrow has some flexibility to it under the right circumstances.

All in all its actually a really healthy poly relationship, once they get their heads out of their own butts that is

Kuroko’s Basketball! Scenario

Prompt: Reacting to their crush saying, “I love you”

Kuroko: Kuroko is not the most expressive person and his reaction to his crush declaring their affection for him would be subdued in comparison to the average person’s. Despite his monotone expression, he’d internally be happy at the news and would take a moment to properly process everything that’s happening at the moment. After that moment is done, he’d smile softly at you and would accept your feelings for him. He’d leave planning the first date to you because he’s not sure what you’d like, but if you needed help coming up with ideas, he’d be happy to help out. 

Aomine: Aomine would falter for a minute after hearing his crush confess to him. During that minute, he’d look confused and surprised at the same time while his mind was racing about how to react to the confession. Once he’d figured his stuff out, he’d quickly fix his expression and accept the confession with a cocky smile. Afterwards, he’d make a comment about how it’s obvious you’d liked him this entire time, and he would turn away to hide his embarrassment at the scenario. He’d definitely make you plan the first date or else he’d end up dragging you to the park to watch him play basketball. 

Kise: Kise would be ecstatic at the news and immediately envelop you in a bone-crushing hug. Despite the fact that he deals with countless confessions on the daily, a confession from his crush would be an entirely new experience and one that gets his heart racing. He would pull away from the hug with the faintest blush and would confess that he returns your feelings. He’d briefly worry about your safety because of his fangirls, but he’d push that aside for the moment to be able to focus on you and hold you as close to him as he could. He’d definitely plan the first date and would try his hardest to make sure you had fun

Akashi: Akashi would be quite startled at the confession from his crush. He believed he would be the one to confess first, which means he’d look confused initially. Akashi had known the entire time that you liked him, but he decided to wait until your feelings for him solidified a bit more. Despite his initial shock, he’d quickly school his expression and would confess that he held the same feelings for you. He’d take over the planning for the first date and would take you to the most romantic locations that he knew about and it would turn out wonderfully 

Midorima: Midorima would react by stuttering out incomprehensible words with red highlighting his cheeks. He’d furiously try to deny his embarrassment if you were to comment about his behaviour and would make a few comments trying to prove you wrong. Eventually he’d calm down by clearing his throat and looking away after fixing his glasses. He’d then confess he held the same feelings for you, all while avoiding making eye contact with you. He’d tell you that he’d plan the first date, but after researching date spots and failing to find ones he think you’d both enjoy, he’d give up and call Takao and Kise for advice. It turns out to be the best date you’ve been on

Murasakibara: Murasakibara would accept your feelings easily and wouldn’t make the biggest deal out of it. However, if you pay close enough attention, he’d visibly be a bit more energetic and happier. He’d tell you he accepts your feelings and would ask you to go on a date together to the convenience store to get snacks after school. Now that the two of you are dating, he’d start being more affectionate and would lean onto you and keep you close to him. Most of your dates are casual, but after Himuro provides him with some advice, he’d start taking you to more date-appropriate locations

Kagami: Kagami wouldn’t know how to react because getting confessions from girls don’t really happen to him because most of them are scared of him. He never expected his crush would confess to him, and he’d stand still staring down at you with confusion clear on his face. After you confessed again, he’d stutter out a reply and would explain that he liked you too. He would still stand around awkwardly and you’d have to calm him down from the situation and gradually bring him back into the real world. He’d plan the first date and would take you to the park to play basketball with him. He’d then finish it off with a home cooked dinner that he made specifically for you

Akashi’s horribly portrayed DID

KNB is a good show for the most part, but the overt homophobia by one of the main cast, the caricaturized representation of black people and the horrible, horrible portrayal of mental illness, very specifically Akashi’s condition, is just- No. That’s all I can say; No. 

I want to ensure fic writers do not follow in those footsteps and hopefully do better than Tadatoshi(the bar is in hell). 

Disclaimer: I am not an expert in Dissociative Identity Disorder, I am not diagnosed with it, neither do I have any friends diagnosed with DID and it’s pretty much consensus that anyone without DID will never be able to get it right without extensive research and actually talking to people with DID. But I do want some semblance of accuracy and want to motivate people to research so I’m writing this. Also it’s about a 99% guarantee that all of us will get the portrayal absolutely wrong unless we do some intense research and retcon some canon stuff.

Now, let’s start with everything KNB got wrong about DID, or fell into stereotypes to describe it. 

1. The Eye Colour changing thing

Yes KNB is unrealistic as fuck about basketball with streaks of lightning come out of people’s eyes but Akashi’s eye colour changing is actually a portrayal of a huge stereotype/myth about people with DID. Eye colours do not change fr for people with DID. 

2. Akashi Emperor Eye ‘powers’

Emperor Eye borders on supernatural as a skill, honestly all of Akashi is portrayed more like a supernatural entity than a high school boy. Emperor Eye falls into the “Alters/parts have superpowers” stereotype. They don’t, but I guess it’s a little dismissable because all of GoM have ridiculous supernatural b-ball skills. If you are writing Emperor Eye, please write it the way you write Kise’s copies or Midorima’s 3-pointers, it’s just another skill and not a side effect or rooted in Akashi’s DID.

3. Alters are not violent

This one sucks because Akashi’s introductory scene is him trying to stab Kagami. Alters are not predisposed to violence or inherently violent. Alters have reasons for their actions. They don’t just go around threatening people and being imposing to strangers. If, IF you want to show this, make it have purpose and give it real good cause. 

4. Alters are not ‘other selves’

Alters/parts of individuals with DID are note different versions of the ‘original’(inaccurate term btw). They are whole people by themselves. Write alters like you do regular people. They have their own likes, dislikes, hobbies, preferences. They also have different sexualities, gender, etc. 

5. It is almost impossible for people to detect that a person has DID

Most likely you will never be able to tell if something is wrong with a person with DID, especially that they have HAVE DID. The disorder develops as a way for individuals to make it through life more easily so if the disorder is causing lots of trouble with living, then it defeats the purpose. People will notice that something is off about the person, but they won’t ever be able to tell what’s up.

Added to that; switches are mostly never dramatic, you won’t be able to tell when it’s happening. You’d probably barely notice it as an outsider. 

6. DID development

It happens with repeated and consistent trauma during childhood and develops around 4-9 years of age. Any older than that and it is probably not DID. So Akashi must have had this disorder even before middle school and it went undiagnosed(in canon it’s still pretty much undiagnosed). We know Akashi grew up in a very harsh environment with his dad constantly expecting perfection, so it makes sense. But falling behind in b-ball was probably not what....’started’ it. Midorima does note there was something up with Akashi even before, There’s no...set point of time where there’s a dormancy and there isn’t. DID just exists. The match Murasakibara might have acted as a trigger but it wasn’t the only thing. 

I think I touched upon the major points?

The biggest problem with Akashi’s DID when writing for it in fics is that we never ever get a concrete label for it. It doesn’t fall into DDNOS but it isn’t exactly DID either so we have to work with what we have. One thing that we all probably need to address is that we should stop calling Akashi-gold-eyes as the ‘other self’ or ‘other Akashi’ because alters generally have different names or identities. They can be very similar to the host’s name but from what I’ve seen, they’ve never shared a name. 

Bokushi and Oreshi doesn’t work as different names because that’d be like calling someone named, let’s say ‘Oscar’, as I-scar and Me-scar.

(I tried to give them more distinct identities by giving who the fandom calls ‘Bokushi’ the name Seiichi but idk, I’m just trying here and it’s difficult to portray this disorder.)

One thing that was sort of gotten close to correct was Oreshi referring to Bokushi as his brother.

Another important thing is people can't just switch on request. There's minimal control over who fronts.

One advice I do my best to stand by when writing Bokushi is I write him as if he were a different person. Write Bokushi the way you write Kuroko, Kagami, any of the GOM, etc. 

Do not take just this as anything useful but use this as a starting point to learn about DID so we could all just do a little better. Here’s someone who has DID with a channel dedicated to educating people: They are DissociaDID and they are so freaking informative but also calming and genuinely entertaining to watch.
