Dilruba by Kailash Kher is the kind of song that feels like it's an outtake from Dil Se (1997) and i can't explain that to you in any way that will make rational sense atm

Trivia about my life no one asked till now but you: this was one of the first songs i dissected as a child (the others being Ae Ajnabi from Dil Se and Nee Kosam title song)

and I was FASCINATED by the ost of Geetanjali

Raja sir is truly musically blessed and the entire score and album of geetanjali is a gift

The sharp drums in Nandikonda, the violin, the flute and the percussion in Om Namaha and O Papa Lali... *tearing up* *it's fine everything's fine*

It helps my spectrum ass very much

(ps, i also love the tune of the part where Chitramma goes "Ye naado aagindi naa velugu, nee darike naa parugu" like MA'AM! SIR!!)

So basically I'm a whore for the whole album even before i knew what a whore was and i grew up on these tunes
