That's what he always told you, but every time you took a glance at him, situated in the middle of his big group of friends, smiling so brightly. It tore your heart, knowing you were no longer the cause. You couldn’t help but miss the days when you were still inseparable, your relationship feeling like a complete fairy tale. Sending shy smiles whenever you were in the same room, always walking you home after school, keeping empty promises that you knew wouldn’t come true but you still hoped it would. But now it was different. The exciting feeling that you felt whenever you saw him enter the room was replaced with despair along with a throbbing pain in your chest. The scene of him breaking up with you never stopped replaying in your head whenever you caught a glimpse of him. So many unexplainable emotions went through you as you think about it. It was traumatising in your end.

 But what had to come was inevitable, the both of you grew apart and neither of you were at fault. You couldn’t do anything but let out a bitter smile when you see him look so unaffected. Why did it seem like you were the only one who’s grieving in pain? Did he even mean the words he told you? Heck, did he even love you? There were so many questions but none of them were answered. Your heart still aches for the times when you were still his. He was your first love and you were his, but you were both young and still had to learn about the reality of love. The reality where it’s not all about the sweet and joyful moments, it always comes with a lot of sorrow and pain equal to that. First love tends to die, and you are starting to learn to accept it.

Missing

This is essentially a re-imaning of a childrens story by Paul Jennings that scared me shitless as a Kid. I've spend a couple of days working on it, and I feel I've got about as good as it's going to get it. I still feel that something may be lacking, but I'll let you guys decide. (also I'm struggling to think of a good title).

MISSING

On the 14th January 2010, Sam Giddings went missing. He was left alone by his parents on their country farm, after they returned he was no-where to be found. Several search parties were sent into the surrounding countryside, but to no avail. Soon the investigation was closed, and Sam Giddings became just another lost teenager.

Until now.

Police have recently received several posts Sam had made on an internet forum on the afternoon of his disappearance. Whilst most of what he posted was irrelevant, the last few he made on a thread entitled 'What Scares You?' seemed particularly interesting.

What you are about to read are the last known words of Sam Giddings.

like we got this line from sermo lupi:
