Bucky would use all sorts of old timey slang around and for Tony, mostly because it always makes Tony blush. Even before they started their relationship, Bucky had noticed the faint blush that accompanied Tony’s eye roll after Bucky made an off hand comment about Tony being a looker. From that day on Bucky used as much old fashioned slang as he could when referring to Tony.

He courts Tony by telling him that Tony is more of a dish than any dame Bucky had ever met.

Whenever Iron Man gives Bucky a lift either into or out of battle, Bucky makes sure to whisper “thanks fly boy” to Tony over the com.

Bucky calls Tony a Sheik, a real Valentino, Bucky tells Tony he’s a swell fella, all while enjoy the rosy flush that Tony can’t keep down even as he acts annoyed and calls Bucky an old man.

This trend continues even after he and Tony get involved, and Bucky just can’t help calling Tony ‘Doll’ when they are in bed together.

They come together to Bucky’s voice a continuing murmur of “open your mouth for me doll… spread your legs for me sweetheart… You are taking me so well baby doll, let me hear you kitten, doll, Tony”.

I love the idea that even a after being together for yrs tony still gets flustered by Steve's muscles & gorgeousness & he stutters & get distracted when Steve shows up topless while Tony's on the phone or at breakfast Just flustered tony & smug steve

I love this. I agree that even if they are together for years and years, there will still be moments where just looking at Steve can take Tony’s breath away.

Steve is smug about it, because he once asked Tony why he gets still gets so flustered whenever Steve walks around shirtless. Steve still blushes when he remembers Tony’s answer.

“There is no way that anyone could ever become bored or complacent with the level of hot you are at Steve. Seriously if there comes a day where I don’t drool while watching you then assume that I am dead, or being mind controlled. They could use you as a Skrull detector for me. If I don’t get hard just from seeing you take your shirt off, then it’s not me it’s a Skrull and you should panic”.

Imagine Steve & Clint finding a robot in Tonys lab & Clint telling Steve its a sexbot & Steve being shocked & asking tony y & tony looking so sad & telling him its not a sexbot it a cuddlebot, cos 'no one else will touch me' he made it when he was 8

At first when I saw the word ‘sexbot’ I thought this was going to be about something kinky (which I would totally be cool with) but instead I got blindsided by the feels.

Because once I thought about it, all I could think was of course young Tony would have built himself a cuddle/hugging bot. Look at the bots that Tony has already created. He has Dum-E and U who are supposedly there to help him in the workshop, but as we all know are not particularly good at it. He didn’t create them as helper bots, he made them to keep him company in the lab.

He made J.A.R.V.I.S as an AI to supposedly help him “run the house” and the company, but JARVIS wouldn’t have needed a personality to do all that. Instead, JARVIS is his constant companion who is with Tony everywhere he goes. When Tony has JARVIS, it means that he is never alone (even when he went brought the bomb into space, JARVIS was there with him til the very end).

We have so much evidence that Tony has created bots and AIs to fill the void of the family unit he never really got to experience. It is then very easy to assume that Tony has done this his entire life. As a child Tony would have tried to compensate for the lack of physical affection he received in the same way he compensates for the lack of relationships as an adult, through robotics.

Imagine little Tony desperately wanting a hug but knowing that he won’t get one. In fact he would probably be ashamed of his desire for cuddles because Howard would consider it as Tony being a baby (or even worse, a “sissy”). Tiny Tony would have built his hugging bot, but kept the hugging part of its programming a secret. As an adult, Tony keeps the hugging bot and still relies on it for comfort.

One time Steve sees Tony being hugged by the bot and is heartbroken for Tony. He resolves to hug Tony everyday from then on.

Who do you think would be the worry but soft parent and who would be the cool but never want to really piss them off one out of tony and steve

Both Tony and Steve would have these qualities to some extent as parents. However, I do think that Tony would be especially prone to worry. I wouldn’t go as far as to say that he’d be a helicopter parent, but he would definitely go above and beyond to make sure that their kid (Peter) would know that he cared and worried over him. Tony’s parenting style would basically be trying to be the exact opposite of how Howard raised him.

Steve would also always be worried about Peter. Both Tony and Steve lead dangerous lives so they are bound to be overprotective parents.

I do think that Peter would be especially careful not to upset Steve. He’s not worried about Steve getting angry, it’s more that Peter has inherited Tony’s susceptibility to the Captain America is Disappointed In You face. In fact it’s worse for Peter because it’s not just the Captain America Disappointed face that he deals with, but also the ‘I’m your father and I will always love you but I’m disappointed in your actions’ face.

Cud you imagine Steve finding tony mortal drunk and trying to get him in his PJs and tony starting to fight him shouting 'no no stop it, i have a boyfriend and I wud never betray him like that' and Steve just falling in love with him even more

While I can’t see this scenario happening with Tony drunk, just because of the history surrounding Tony and Steve and alcohol, I do agree that in other times where Tony isn’t all there (delirious from lack of sleep, or on meds for pain) he would be extra affectionate and clingy with Steve.

For Example imagine that Steve gets back from a mission to find that Tony has been in his lab for days without sleeping or eating. When Steve goes down to get him and put him to bed, he can’t help but find sleepy Tony adorable as it is the only time he lets Steve carry him around and without complaining.

Hey dude, that Captain America art you reblogged had the American flag turn into tentacles because Hydra (I think it's in reference to catws and how hydra slowly seized power politically and otherwise). That's just my take on it, it was a beautiful piece of art. Love your blog btw.

You know that it is so obvious about Hydra, now that you mention it. The tentacles could definitely be symbolic of Hydra’s infiltration of the U.S. Whenever I see tentacles my mind tends to jump to… other things.
